Margaritaville Island Inn

We booked with Booking.com drove almost 3 hours to find out at check-in that they canceled our reservation because they were booked full. The town had an event but thankfully we were able to find a 2 bedroom cabin just for us two and have to pay a few hundred dollars extra to keep from driving almost 3 hours back home. Not to mention, our reservation still showed as confirmed on the app. I ABSOLUTELY WOULS NOT RECOMMEND booking.com or margaritaville.

We had a handicap person in our party and the parking was a little far for her to walk.

The atmosphere is calming and the hotel staff are pleasant and welcoming. Rooms are clean and it’s a short walk to the Island.

The hotel is conveniently located, has two pools, and a continental breakfast. There are a few beach cruiser bikes on site for use and the hotel is within walking distant to several activities, gift stores, and attractions.

My room was located on the street side and has traffic noise till 10 or 11 at night. If you are looking for a quieter room I believe it would be best to stay on the outdoor pool side.

Didn't have breakfast.. Slept through it. The matress on the bed was a bit hard. The pillows were a bit too soft. The room was great. Was able to get enough towels as cleaner came by. LOVED having the beach towels. That mad a big difference! Pool was very nice!

The mattress was a bit too hard. The pillows on the king bed were a bit too big for comfort and a bit too soft. Needed a good chair to sit in that supports older folks. Instead of having to go to the bed.

The morning shift lady was kind.

The afternoon staff were discriminating against my appearance and let multiple people check in before me. I also waited over an hour for my room to be ready while watching those 20 ppl check in and my room “still wasn’t ready”. ( mind you I also called ahead and was told my room would be ready by 3:30pm) They also ended up having to book me in a room that wasn’t what I paid for and a huge downgrade. It’s also not clean. The bathroom sink leaked the whole time and the AC unit made a horrible racket all night. Word of advice stay at the one in Gatlinburg!

The plumbing lines would make noises periodically. This would happen all durin the day and night. It sounded like pressure in the line. We would have to go in the bathroom and turn the water on and off and flush the toilet. This disrupted our sleep.

The top rail height on the balcony is right at eye level. This wouldn’t be an issue but they use a full size decking board layed on its side so if you’re sitting down you can’t see off the deck. Just a bad design.

The picture of the room I booked showed a balcony. The room I got had not balcony. There was no tv reception for part of the evening.

Went to pigeon forge for the first time and picked this location for the view of the island and the location to other attractions around.

Best location just park your car and walk to the island and also there is 2 different trails you can walk if you love to walk. Margaritaville island inn is really a great place to stay. Their breakfast is great. There is nothing negative about this stay. Would stay again.

Very close to entertainment. Staff very friendly and prompt with resolution of guest concerns.

One of the bottled waters in the room was half drunk. The staff corrected resolved the issue promptly. But this should have happened if rooms are properly inspected before guests check in. Also, there was mold above the windows in the room. The room needs to be put out order and corrected immediately. Very disappointed for the cost for a one night stay.

I booked a balcony room on july 6th for my july 31st stay and was given a room without a balcony and was told they were sold out pf balcony rooms

The hotel was clean, our room was clean. The air conditioning and shower worked great!

Our room faced the Parkway, which meant it was very noisy when it came time to sleep. Multiple times during the night we were awaken by sirens and loud trucks. Bring ear plugs!

The location was in a good place if you were going to the island a lot. The property was really nice.

Was on the opposite side of the places we wanted to go… I used my credit card to reserve room and pay for room… someone that worked there got my number and was using it for their personal use…. This is the only place I used this card.

The location is fantastic- very close to the island. Our room had a comfortable patio set that overlooked the Island. It was fantastic and worth the upgrade for the view. The bed was comfortable and our room was so beautiful. The hotel itself is very pretty and up to date. Loved the option to have a pool outside and inside! The staff was exceptional. We will be back!

Very satisfied with the breakfast! I also loved the way the shampoo was in the shower and not those tiny bottles. Walking distance to the Island was great. Loved everything.

I wish the wall between balcony rooms was able to open instead of talking leaning around.

I like the location

I have stayed at several Margaritaville hotels, I have liked all of them but this one. You can tell it wasn’t always a Margaritaville . The rooms are small and lack the atmosphere and amenities that all the others have. Also the walls are thin and we didn’t sleep well do to people up all night partying and kids running up and down the halls. I tried to get a different room and didn’t get much help and while standing at the elevator I overheard the staff laughing about it. I left the next morning and won’t stay there again.

There was mold on the shower curtain, housekeeping didn’t make rounds so we had to keep asking for bath towels. Regardless of the temperature the room was set at, it was very humid in the room. Great location but extremely noisy late at night

Hotel staff extremely pleasant and willing to help! The facilities were all excellent, down to the public seating areas.....bikes, pools, balconies...two minute walk from The Island. Super clean all around. You felt like you were on an island while staying here!
