I don’t like the fact that if you book online you don’t get breakfast included and that wasn’t included when I was doing the booking. Because I called in and was asking for assistant at reception to book with them but there was some sort of misunderstanding so I had to do it myself online and yes I still didn’t get the breakfast I stayed there for three days.

The hotel facilities are outdated, and the toilet automatically generates loud flushing noises. At night, the surrounding music is extremely loud. Despite complaining to the front desk multiple times, the issues were not resolved at all. Furthermore, the hotel staff showed an extremely bad attitude

I was late for my meeting after waiting for breakfast, which never came through. Terrible service. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone. The TV in the room had no good channels, the smart aspects of the TV were not working (Netflix, YouTube, etc.). Unbelievable for a hotel of this standard! BON Hotel Richards Bay is not recommended until I hear something different!

not so much a dislike, but maybe a nice to have, would be a microwave in the room. but knowing how helpful the staff are at Bon, i am sure someone would gladly to assist if i asked. just a headsup, it is next to a lounge that does have events on weekends, so sometimes loud music can be heard.

Often drowning in some kind of gravy. The property is beautiful, but if one stays there for more than two days, it may be better to eat out. Hot breakfast options are limited. The service was extremely slow on this particular visit.

The noise levels were unbearable — there was a party very close to the hotel that went on until 3am on both nights, and we were unable to sleep. When we raised the issue with management, there was no meaningful assistance or attempt to make our stay more comfortable. We also requested a late checkout due to the ongoing disturbance, but the hotel was not accommodating at all. Overall, the experience was unpleasant and handled poorly by management.. to sum it all. We couldn’t sleep because of noise levels.
