Convenient location

Finding parking was not the easiest.

Fabulous location in a wonderful area full of wonderful community spirit. Lovely comfortable stylish rooms .

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience. We arrived for our reservation and were told there was an issue with our room, so we were relocated to The Tillary Hotel. We were told by the front desk that we would be able to stay there for the duration of our trip, only to be told the next day that we had to pack up and move back to NU Hotel. Although Uber transportation was provided, it did not make up for the inconvenience and disruption of having to switch hotels twice during our stay. The communication was poor, and the front desk staff showed no compassion for the situation. We understand that issues happen, but this was handled poorly and added unnecessary stress to our trip. The lack of care and empathy from the staff was extremely disappointing. I would think twice before booking here - this was too stressful to deal with.

Lobby was underwhelming The suite was not worth the price While it was very spacious,the bed was placed such that it was hard to get in and out of. The hammock that was pictured in the ads was not there, and other than useless space, there was not much more to it.

Location was on point, the breakfast was simple but not continental (bonus!) and the coffee was hot! The bed was very comfortable and shower water pressure was strong .

Despite the location at an extremely busy intersection, my room was quiet. The windows were triple paned and it was clear a lot of thought had gone into noise reduction.

Huone oli hyvän kokoinen ja hotellin sijainti on hyvä.

Henkilökunta oli epäystävällinen ja poissaoleva ( mm sisään buukatessamme vastaanotto puhui vain omaa pitkää puhelua) Huonettamme ei siivottu. Verhot olivat rikki. Puhelin receptioniin oli rikki.

The room was nice in the photos contrary to the reality.

The location of the hotel is convenient for us visiting our family. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast in the morning is a nice touch.

It is a little loud at times.

Die Dusche ist unterirdisch: Völlig verkalkt und unbeweglich aus der Wand. Warmes Wasser kommt dann nach einiger Zeit, aber mit ohrenbetäubendem Dröhnen. Beim Handtuchhalter kriegt man Angst, dass er endgültig abkracht...

The noise from the street was overpowering-police sirens and traffic. Barely slept.

We have stayed at the Nu Hotel a few times now and the staff are always helpful & friendly.

I called the hotel for directions on the night of my arrival, and was told, “ your reservation has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances” Hotel Never emailed or call me to notify. I was walking around freezing NYC to get to this hotel. Had to scramble to find a new hotel on the night of our arrival

Quality is 0 , desk staff are so unfriendly. Also I paid before coming full . They ask for 150 deposit. My credit card was not working in US . And they did not let me in with a kid .

Hôtel très bruyant avec travaux en face de la rue , isolation nul , pas d eau chaude pendant le séjour, personnel très peu aimable et petit déjeuner nul et très succinct. Très déçu de notre réservation avec booking

Isolamento acústico deficiente: ruído exterior é facilmente audível. Arrumação dos quartos foi feita apenas uma vez numa estadia de 5 noites. Pequeno almoço é servido na recepção: mobiliário deveria ser limpo com maior frequência!

The staff at NU Hotel was great and very understanding. I really appreciated how accommodating they were when I couldn’t extend my contract with the booking agent. NU even held my bags while I attended my event, and I was happy to pay for the day. I’m planning on returning to the city again and would definitely stay with NU Hotel.

I did not like the water leaking from the shower to the floor.

Reception staff did not seem to care much about the guests… not traditional courtesy we would expect from hotel. Breakfast is ok, but nothing extraordinary.

El alojamiento aviso al momento de llegar (de noche) que no había agua caliente y no había fecha para cuando lo repararían. Estuvimos 6 noches y nunca tuvimos agua caliente, para los pasajeros adultos mayores es muy incómodo xq no aguantan el frío y menos con temperaturas de -2 en NY. Un día no hicieron la limpieza de la habitación y al día siguiente no nos cambiaron las toalla.Quedaron en hacer un refund. Espero sea así

Elevators worked well with short waits. Room was cleaned well.

I had no heat when I first checked in. It did warm up over night. There was NO hot water when I checked in, the first night and every morning. My son and wife in another room experienced the same. Breakfast was adequate. However the staff had difficulty keeping enough food available, and plates, silverware and bowls kept running out. The floor of the breakfast room looked like a factory floor. It needs paint or replacement. All things considered I would not stay there again.

No or intermittent hot water for just about our entere 4 day stay. No forewarning by hotel of the water problem. No response from hotel management to our concerns nor any offer of a refund. A/C-heating system problematic. Breakfast very sub-par with shortages of utensils and dishes. Reminded me of some 3d world hotels I stayed in 30 years ago. Really not worth the price charged. Needless to say, not going back to this place especially given several less expensive and vastly superior options in the vicinity.

No es confiable,, pague el depósito con mi tarjeta de crédito y me Stan haciendo cargos adicionales, incluso lo de la estancia que ya había pagado por Booking.

Ubicación excelente, cerca a la estación del metro; limpieza, habitación amplia, el personal de servicios generales muy amable, interesados en resolver.

La calefacción no funcionaba y debieron arreglarla varias veces, al final no funcionó muy bien; sin embargo el personal que atendía el arreglo era muy amable. A la llegada no había entrado el pago que ya había realizado y la mujer de la recepción fue bastante grosero. Después mejoró al poderlo validar, pero la molestia ya estaba..

Las habitaciones están bien de tamaño, el baño está recién reformado y es bastante grande.

Las paredes son de papel y se escucha absolutamente todo, incluyendo cada vez que alguna habitación tira de la cadena del wc.

We have stayed here previously. The location is close to our prime daily destination. The room is good but not exceptional. The breakfast is adequate; ran out of some items on a couple of days. I understand the limited space but getting to the food is challenging when there are more than 15-20 people having breakfast.

It's not so much that we didn't like the staff, but I didn't find them overly friendly. They weren't unfriendly but their demeanor could be a little better. Make the traveller feel really welcome. We paid $2000 (taxes included) for a four night stay. That is $500 a day, which is rather steep. I also don't like the fact that we have to pay more to have cancellation privileges. I understand that people randomly cancel but as we are seniors, who have a number of physical issues, we should have the option of cancelling without having to pay more up front. We are from Canada and had to deal with a $0.72 dollar.
