The lobby was really interesting and comfortable.
Sometimes the staff was not terribly friendly. But sometimes they really were. The faucet handles in the sink were really difficult to adjust and the hot water out of the sink was so hot it was burning The floors in the gym were so dirty you could see the dirt and Hair and the treadmills had hundreds of sweat marks. The shelves were covered in dirt and hairs, and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months. I would not choose this hotel again.
Great location, cool vibe.
Not that it’s a negative but the lobby is a party club over the weekend which might not be for everyone. I didn’t mind it but can imagine it not being for everyone. Staff probably could have been a bit friendlier
The vibe , the style beautiful rooms great bar
All good
the room was a good size + the bathroom was also a good size. they had tea kettle .... since USA is a country of coffee drinkers mostly kettle is not available (only coffee machine)
the room had no cupboard. there was no choice but to open up your suitcase & leave it open, living out of the suitcase. we were 2 people , so 2 open suitcases took up a lot of space. a cupboard or drawers to put away things would have been convenient. we were on the 9th floor, but the rumblings from the metro still made a noise & shook the room.... needed time to get used to it to fall asleep.
Very nice, comfortable, and the bed and the pillows are very cosy. When we arrived, the key wasn’t working and neither was the Wi-Fi due to technical issues, which were resolved the following day. The air conditioning is very strong in the lobby, but that’s how it’s done in America, and the premises downstairs (including the restaurants) are lovely; if we’d been on our own, we would certainly have made the most of them. You CAN'T hear the music at all in the rooms. The location is very convenient, whether you’re walking or taking the underground. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it and would stay there again
Everything’s fine
Excellent boutique hotel. Comfortable beds and room and bathroom is nice size
A bit more light in hallways?
I really enjoyed the staff’s attitude and friendliness.
We couldn’t get the TV to work, no internet all throughout our stay. It seems like the aircon only had two modes, either freezing or off.
Location, vibes, design
Bedside lamp did not work, and despite a two night stay, never replaced.
Very comfy bed, nice decor. Friendly staff
Would have liked tea bags and real spoons in the room
The hotel is very well connected to various subway lines. It is located in a quiet and clean neighborhood but with many shops and places to eat nearby
Professional and pleasant staff at front desk. Onsite restaurant with great service. Also the clean room, and beds were made daily. Hotel is accessible to several modes of transportation. I liked the quiet room, and that we could walk or get transportation easily. There was a water machine on our floor, and I could refill my thermos.
We both hit our legs on the hard edge of the bed closest to the bathroom. Didn’t see an ice machine on our floor.
needs major updates. dirty rugs and bathroom tiles with soap scum. Worn out furniture
Lovely property and great location in Brooklyn
Cost per night was high but it is expensive city in general
Hotel vibe lively and cool. Room was basic comfortable and clean. Easy access via train. Some nice cafes around. Friend staff. Great value for money.
It was a lovely hotel. Clean quiet and comfortable. I had a view of the Statue of Liberty out of my window. The window was huge
Nice location and great place
Amazing place, cool
Stayed again, amazing
Location was great, close to subway and easy walking to great shops and restaurants in Boerum Hill and Cobble Hill. Cool vibe in the downstairs lobby, great spot to hang out and have a relaxed drink after a big day of sightseeing. Rooms were spacious and really comfortable.
I was unable to change the settings on the air conditioning in my room which was a bit annoying. The rumble of the subway under the building was a bit unsettling at first, but it didn't bother me in the end.
Ubicacion, personal e instalaciones excelentes
Todo me gustó
3-5-min walk to a train to Jamaica, Bedstuy, LIC, and all over Manhattan. Great bars and restaurants nearby on Atlantic Avenue & Smith Street. Very comfy bed and spacious room. Big-enough bathroom. Very nice lobby/bar area as well.
Great location. Cool hotel. Very stylish.
Amenities were a little lacking. Had to pay for water. Not cool. Expensive and doesn't reflect value for money.
Closeness to where we needed to be in Brooklyn
Very small room size
The Ace is a beautiful hotel and for NYC, the room was quite spacious. The staff is so fantastic and the location is super convenient to a variety of subway lines. And, it's right around the corner from Brooklyn's City Point shopping mall, which has a great food court, shops and a dine-in movie theater.
I do wish there had been a coffee maker in the room for convenience, and the shower head was ... not exactly broken, but it was a little off kilter. (I wouldn't have even mentioned it, but this response form has a minimum word count.)
No parking
Ac was very loud
It’s a lot of fun. Public spaces are varied and filled with people chatting, at computers, reading, drinking coffee or cocktails. Amazing view from my 8th floor window. Convenient to leafy neighborhoods, subways, trains, shops & restaurants.
It’s a little tired. Due for a rehab
Great location.Clean and co comfortable rooms
Room slippers not provided!
Noise from metro
Amazingly comfortable! Exceptional touches and view!
Good stay in Brooklyn for any purpose
Great location and comfy bed
Terrific experience at ACE Brooklyn. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the room, common spaces and amenities were all of high caliber, clean and in great shape. Would certainly stay again.
Had an excellent pastry with coffee from lobby
Great location for spending time in NY - staff were very friendly and helpful
Everything, but especially the staff who were exceptional - helpful, accommodating, flexible.
The doors to the rooms don't close easily, and you need to slam them - so it's noisy!
I'll start by saying I don't often leave reviews but felt compelled to in this case. Pros: very well located near lots of subways, room was fairly spacious for NYC and clean Cons: the doors to the room slam, so you hear that at all hours since it's a party hotel. The biggest con, is that I left my vintage wedding dress for my friend to pick up at the front desk and the way the whole situation was handled was such a disappointment. When I checked out, I left vintage wedding dress for my friend to pick up with her name and number on the bag and I was given a luggage tag but was never told that was any time frame in which it needed to be picked it up. Arguably she waited a long time and came to pick it up about 12 days later, she never received a call from them telling her she needed to pick it up in the meantime. When she gave the luggage tag, they said they couldn't locate it... I tried following up several times and eventually received an email from the Front Desk Director which I was really grateful for. I provided all the details requested and then never heard from anyone again in spite of following up several times. I used to work in hospitality in NYC at another comparable hotel, and was absolutely floored by the way this was handled (or not handled). I know there's an inherent risk to leaving something at the front desk, and I take accountability for that.. but the whole situation felt incredibly mishandled, the people who "tried to help" were generally very dismissive and completely not responsive. The whole situation, was incredibly upsetting because it's a one of a kind vintage wedding dress that cannot be replaced. Overall, fine hotel, but absolutely do not leave anything of value in their care and don't go in with any expectations of hospitality.
Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds.
Front desk and staff was great
They told me upon my arrival the bar closed at 12 am I went to the bar at 10:55 pm and the bartender told me she couldn’t serve me drinks because she had no ICE.. we are in a hotel with ice machines on every floor .. she proceeded to close the bar down and send me on my way but the hotel were telling ma about the late bar like it was there pride and joy only for the bartender to tell me she’s going home a hour early
Room was big enough for 2. Loved that there was a radio in the room. Bed was very comfortable.
Could hear subway but nothing I lost sleep over. In room coffee was terrible.
Location, access, design, staff
Lobby was occupied with non hotel residents
Bra beliggenhet med lett tilgang til subway Fine rom med flott utsikt
Clean, hip vibe, comfortable bed.
The whole building shakes when the subway train goes by. We were on the 5th floor and our bedroom would shake every 10min when the train would go by. This was VERY unpleasant. Also the bar area had the AC blasting at full force so we were freezing in June!!
The Ace Hotel in Brooklyn, NY is well located near to good restaurants and shops as well the subway. The Holter has a great vibe has a Sushi restaurant and a coffee shop. The room was super clean and cool retro style very comfortable Fridays and Saturdays night is a party time with a lot of people with loud DJ music in the hotel lobby. I didn’t like it ! Beside this I will recommend it !
My experience was amazing. My husband and I stayed there because we were getting married, and I wanted to have a nice place to take getting-ready pictures before my wedding. The staff were polite. The lobby bar was stacked with your favorite beverages. The small diner was nice also. I will definitely stay there again.
None
My absolute favorite place to stay, rooms are cozy, sometimes they have music events downstairs.
Can be occasionally pricy
The beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom had nice, thick towels. The location worked well for us.
I found myself wishing they had a makeup mirror. Also, I'm used to hotels that offer free coffee to their guests and here you had to pay for coffee.
Location、 view
Great entryway and rooms are quite stylish
Expensive for what it was .
Nos encantó todo!
I had a nice view to Statue of Liberty and low-rise houses in Brooklyn. The location is perfect, really close to Manhattan which is convenient for work trips. I’ve been making v60 at the room so the room is equipped by a normal electric kettle instead of coffee machine like many other hotels in NYC. Kudos for that. Oh, and it’s spacious!
Nothing to say.
Great location, lovely room and comfy bed!
The room, the location- next to subway main lines. The desgin of the place and team were great. Many services nearby
Lower floors has some noise frin the subway
I’m a returning customer. I book this hotel every time I’m in Brooklyn and it never disappoints. The space is beautiful, rooms are big and clean, service is great, vibes are 10/10

Location, vibe, comfortable beds, staff, proximity to Black Seed Bagels
No handrails in the showers.
Une super ambiance, très bien placé
Salle de sport un peu petite
Quiet rooms, good location and very hip
Sometimes the wifi was down
We were there for 1 night for a concert at Barclays Center. Great location for that. The rooms were nice & service was very good.
Great location convenient for subway
Very dark lobby
Location was excellent, one block to subway that can take you anywhere. Excellent drinks at bar in lobby, and Japanese omakase restaurant inside the hotel was top notch. Rooms were very spacious.
All throughout the day and night, you can hear and feel the subway 🚇 trains passing by underneath the hotel. We were on the seventh floor. We slept through it, but it is noticeable when I was awake
位置优越
不错
The location. The vibe and the attitude of the staff. Very clean
For a long stay, there are not enough storage facilities
Not so good. We stay 4floor shook a lot . I guess underground subway. Anyway overall not worth it money to stay.
?.
Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre.
Das es kein Frühstück gab
Big rooms
Price different than booking, arrogant staff. And an extra charge on check out without explanation.
Location was very good and just a few minutes from the subway. Staff were nice. Bed and pillows was nice and comfortable
Lighting in bathroom was very dim and poor quality. Impossible to shave as you could not see - ended up using iphone light to do this. No complimentary breakfast. Very expensive for what was very average food. Did not eat there again. Room has no coffee machine - New York and no coffee machine in room . No microwave oven provided for heating food and meds. No iron or iron stand. This was despite me asking prior to coming. A small handheld steamer was provided. The AC was powerful but no remote control provided so you had to keep getting up to turn on or off as the auto setting had a mind of its own. No drawers to store anything. All open.
I have been here before and came back. That is probably good information. If people know a place and come back to it intentionally, that is usually a good sign. The rooms are spacious with good views of Brooklyn, attentive service, and comfortable beds. It is a young and hip crowd. There is a big table in the lobby where you can put your laptop, connect to the free WiFi, and work. Every single laptop was a MacBook. That tells you something about the demographic--young, creative, and money is not an issue. In the evening, especially on weekends, the lobby turns into a big party with music and everyone dancing. It is free to attend. There is a bar there. The hotel does not serve breakfast, but the bar has a few pastries. Next door is a diner where you can get a nice (but not cheap) breakfast. The A, C, and G subway lines are a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The B and Q subway lines are a 5-minute walk from the hotel. In short, if you are young, hip, and have plenty money and want a really nice hotel in the middle of downtown Brooklyn, this is your place.
cute rooms
I wish there was better lighting in the hallways and the rooms.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Ace Hotel Brooklyn. As a branding designer, I had long admired Ace Hotel as a brand with a strong identity and a thoughtful sense of place. I chose this property expecting an authentic Brooklyn experience that matched the brand's reputation. Unfortunately, the actual stay fell far short of that image. First, I booked the ADA Medium room based on listing photos that clearly showed a sofa. The room I was assigned did not have one. When I raised this at the front desk, the staff did not acknowledge the discrepancy or show any real empathy. I felt I had to justify what was a reasonable concern. The service throughout felt indifferent. At checkout, the staff presented the invoice without explaining the charges, and I had to specifically ask for a breakdown. For a hotel at this price point, I expected clearer communication and more attentive service. The in-room bottled water turned out to be $8 per bottle, which we only confirmed after the fact with the amenity staff. A $16.77 charge later appeared on my card, matching two bottles plus tax. After a long international flight and a late-night arrival, being charged for water without clear notice was a poor first impression. The gym was noticeably smaller and more dated than the brand image suggests. The lobby and common areas had a stylish atmosphere, but the overall guest experience did not feel as considered or welcoming as the Ace brand implies. The most frustrating issue was the deposit handling. A $300 hold was placed on my card at check-in. After checkout, the hotel confirmed in writing that the remaining hold was released on April 30, 2026, and provided an approval code. However, as of May 27, well beyond the 10-15 business day window the hotel itself cited, the full $300 authorization is still active on my card. The hotel's written statement and the actual status of my account do not match, and resolving this has required repeated contact with both the hotel and my credit card company. For an international guest, this kind of unclear deposit handling and lack of follow-through is genuinely stressful. The gap between the Ace Hotel brand image and the actual guest experience here was significant. I would not stay at this property again.
location and staff.
the gym was quite dissapointing. extremly small and the gear needs to be exchanged. we experienced quite a few safety issues on the equipment.

Mieszkałem 5 dni super i podobało mi się wszystko
Grande chambre très confortable bien décorée. Proximité du métro. Bar chaleureux,.
the hotel has a young vibe and the bar is extremely vibrant on the weekend evenings until late. The noise did not filter into our room so it was not a problem.
The surrounding streets are not the most appealing - however it was not unsafe.
Beyglur, djús og kaffi í lobbýinu, fínt
Hávaðinn á fimmtudags- og föstudagskvöld sem var þó einungis á lobbý barnum
Loved our stay at Ace! The room looks like something out of an Architectural Digest with all midcentury pieces. It was quite spacious, we had 3 bags, and we were very comfortable. The hotel lobby is always buzzing with events and is really cool to hang out in. Right in front of a metro station, which made moving around the city much easier.
Nothing much really, there are a few unhoused people that sometimes hang around the corner, but this is NYC, and they are super harmless, so don't be alarmed at it, the area is super safe.
The interior design and visuals, amazing. Vinyl player, amazing. Location, amazing. Lobby vibe, amazing. Good facility with water supplies and gym.
Staff? some nice, some OK. Bit hassle when it comes to rebook and things. Also we had a false fire alarm at 2AM. No sorry or compensation for it. Also a lil bit noisy if you are a light sleeper since you will always feel the party noise from the lobby or the vibrations of trains underneath.
Good location for our needs. Very nice staff. Room was clean.
Room was dark and needed updating. One side of the bed was against the window wall with only a few inches of space to get out of the bed. Building rumbles when the subway goes under it (I assume that's what it was).
The rooms are cozy with comfortable communal spaces that seemed to always be in use. The staff were really friendly. The Japanese restaurant was amazing if you book ahead and enjoy sushi. Otherwise there are restaurants in a couple blocks or access to the MTA station across the road. It felt very safe with a police station nearby and adjacent to welcoming communities of Brooklyn. I would certainly choose Brooklyn over NYC central if visiting the area again.
I found the lighting is low if you want to read- although there is table space to work on a laptop that has better lighting. Also the room carpet was damaged with water stains (probably from pets in the room) also there was a piece of kimchi on the wood chair at the desk area, which made me careful before sitting down at the sofa. I am allergic to dogs and didn’t notice any issues, so the room had been cleaned well enough.
I loved the big window and the view! It was fabulous. The beds were nice as well; very cozy. And the room was wonderfully quiet!
The shower was wimpy. So little water! The music in the bar was so loud that you didn’t want to be in there. The coffee service in the bar in the morning was so slow; a coffee maker in the room would have been great. The temperature of the room was hard to control for some reason.
I was looking forward to staying here since for the Price. I thought it was gonna be special. Mediocre at best overpriced underwhelmed
Marc at the front desk is absolutely exceptional
The first night we were on floor 4 as we arrived early - i had to change - sadly we had train sounds all night so Marc moved us the next day - I would definitely return for a higher floor room -
Location, great atmosphere and staff
I am super sensitive to noice and vibrations and even at the 10th floor I could feel the subway.
Excellent location and decent sized rooms.
Would be nice to be able to have a breakfast choice
Great design. Quiet location. Right by subway
Not much to do immediately near.
We loved the way that this hotel was so friendly ~ most hotels are so impersonable .This was not our experience … very friendly very helpful staff .Foing above and beyond ~ thank you
We didn’t like walking through a business meeting to get to the restaurant for breakfast .. it felt awkward and not right. Behind the desk was filthy and had loads of lost items
The Ace is an excellent, well maintained, well managed property, with friendly, professional staff, and a pleasant appealing footprint & environment. The location for me was perfect (literally), firstly being on a secondary street meant day & night traffic was very moderate, and as I simply wished to experience Brooklyn, and the Ace provided walkable access to the DUMBO and East River Park area, Brooklyn & Manhattan bridges; local eateries, a supermarket one block west and more. Lastly, my 11th floor corner room was quiet at night, plus had a western oriented view of the Statute of Liberty, along the East River and mouth of the Hudson!
That I had not visited this property sooner.
