Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet.
We were not happy with the Urban Destination Charge fees. We were told that we could use these fees as credit towards meals, which we did. We were not aware of these fees beforehand and that we would be charged those fees for two nights, and that if we did not use those "meal" credits each day, that we would lose them. I asked the receptionist about this, and she stated that the policies were "on the website." These fees (total of $70) are a scam. We will not be staying at the Hilton-Brooklyn again, and would not recommend it to anyone because of these fees.
This was perfectly located for our stay in Brooklyn. The rooms were very clean and there was a lot within walking distance to explore. The train was a short walk and the area felt safe.
Great location in Brooklyn. Near trains, great restaurants and shopping. Walking distance from Cobble Hill neighborhood. Hotel room was perfectly fine. I hate that all hotels seem to charge you a $35 destination fee. It was hard for us to use— we wanted to get good coffee next door (check out White Noise), and the stuff in the store was mostly junk food.
The staff was very helpful and available any time. It was in the perfect area for me as I was going back and forth from Brooklyn and manhattan. Food and some stores are walking distance as well as transportation. 10/10 recommend
Lots of construction going on in neighborhood
My wife and I spent a night at the Hilton Brooklyn on May 8th. The room met our expectation and the dining room was excellent. But even more impressive was the young man at the front desk. He was courteous and very helpful in getting our luggage into the hotel and the next morning having it picked up as we were going on a cruise. His help is the main reason I am making the effort to write this review.

קצת מיושן. ארוחת הבוקר זקוקה לשדרוג
I was dealing with some serious jet lag on my business trip. Marciana went above & beyond for me and really made me feel like the Hilton was my home away from home. I can’t thank her & Jade enough for working with me to secure my extra two nights in the same room and my sanity.
My husband and I stayed at the Brooklyn Hilton for two nights and it's a lovely hotel. We're Diamond members and were upgraded to an executive room, which was beautiful and spotless. The hotel was mostly quiet, the location was great and most of the employees were friendly. The only slight issues were the hours of the restaurant/bar and the executive lounge. We wanted to use our $35 resort credit for lunch or an afternoon drink, but when we went to order, we were told the restaurant was only open for breakfast and dinner. The executive lounge was truly strange as it was completely empty, minus the hot water and tea bag I got one night. There was absolutely nothing in it. It was roped off at breakfast both mornings when I was in the lobby and one of the days, my husband went to get breakfast in there and was denied, because we didn't have a voucher. This was confusing, as we had lounge access. Thankfully, the lounge access was complimentary with our Diamond status, so we didn't pay for it. I would advise anyone not to pay for it, as it is a completely empty room.

Great sized room!
The attention to detail on the booking request didn’t seem to be even considered. We asked to be on the same floor and the staff weren’t really helpful. Extra costs which we knew were part of the stay, but no wifi included?! Wow that’s just a given these days. I think it was over priced for what it is. Also the shower was difficult to get going. There was thumping and noise coming from above our room at random times of the night- so quite disruptive. I was disappointed with my stay here.
Very pretty room and bathroom. Our room was on a corner, loved the windows. Nice lobby and bar. Great bartender. Helpful staff. Liked the daily credit. We ate at the bar one night, Delicious! Daily maid service was greatly appreciated.
We often stay at Hilton's. We love the super comfortable beds, soft bedding, fluffy pillows. We didn't feel that they were as exceptional as usual. Comfortable but not outstanding. The bath towels are usually soft and a pleasure to use but our towels were a bit scratchy. Parking is high.
I recently stayed at the Hilton Brooklyn New York for one night. While I didn’t have particularly high expectations, I still believe a global brand like Hilton should maintain consistent standards—especially in food & beverage quality and overall service infrastructure. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was below expectations. The quality and presentation did not reflect the level typically associated with the Hilton brand. On the positive side, the room was adequate and met basic expectations, and the staff were polite and attentive throughout my stay. Overall, it was an average experience. While the accommodation and service were acceptable, the food & beverage offering needs improvement to better align with Hilton’s standards.
I love that it was close to my job and my boyfriend’s job. The breakfast was good and the staff were super nice. It was relatively quiet. I got to really enjoy myself.
I wish there were more gluten free options for breakfast.
Nice renovation great location. Breakfast was nice.
Das Zimmer war schön groß, das war es aber auch dann schon.
Nicht sauber! Das Frühstück war das mit Abstand schlechteste, dass wir jemals vorgesetzt bekamen!!
Clean
I loved the professionalism and personable attitude of the staff.....Special shout out to my new "twin" Jade🫶🏾
The bat hours are an inconvenience but overall good experience
Hilton Brooklyn hotel supervisor, Rick, was absolutely a most professional and kind human - detail-oriented, helpful, responsive, and friendly! Thank you, Rick!

Location. Spacious room
Toilet didn’t work well
Thank you, Hilton - you’ve been good to me. And a special thanks to Rick for his outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back.
If you want to expose your children to the smells of marijuana at every street corner and carried into the hotel elevators by other guests look no further than the Brooklyn Hilton. We booked online 2 queen beds and was surprised to find 2 full beds where my feet could hang over the edge. The dark and uninviting front desk area was staffed by very pleasant and helpful staff. The billing errors and resolution process as a Hilton Honors member was tortuous and unsuccessful. I'll be looking for better hotels and so should you.
I initially chose the Hilton Brooklyn for its proximity to work, using it as a convenient refuge during late nights or inclement weather. However, after staying here several times over the years, it is clear that I keep returning—even with other options available—because of the team’s professionalism, friendliness, and the sheer comfort of the accommodations. During my most recent two-night stay, I stopped in a few days early to coordinate my booking. I met with Rick and explained that an early check-in was my top priority. While he didn't make a false promise, he went out of his way to help, and I was able to check in early without a hitch. The stay itself was peaceful and restorative, followed by a seamless checkout process. I also want to highlight Emily and Jade; they were incredibly kind when assisting me with a minor billing discrepancy. They rectified the overcharge immediately. I felt compelled to thank the entire team for their excellence and look forward to my next stay. Props to everyone involved! Ed

I receptionist che parlano solo americano ma il mondo non è solo America
A particular front desk man was very unpleasant and unhelpful
Towels changed daily along with replenishment of coffee supplies. Service fees were aggregated instead of per day.
No kettle/dryer in the room. Staff was a bit condescending in behavior. Aggregation of service fees was not clarified in the beginning.
Decent breakfast. Staff was not as friendly
The bathroom was not deep cleaned like we requested.
Location is good- close to subway stations
We reported the air conditioning not working and it wasn't fixed during our stay
Location is central.
Staff can’t be bothered to address problems. I was placed next to a loud room where people banging on doors and yelling at 12am. Called and front desk did nothing. Happened again after telling another person at the front desk. No one sent up, nothing. Add to it a $35 scam facilities fee in a place with no facilities and it’s the worst Hilton experience I’ve ever had. I will not be staying at another Hilton for a very long time.

Special shout out to the hotel front desk staff for accommodating my room request. The hotel was sold out during the holiday season and the room type that I booked wasn’t available, the front desk staff went the extra mile to make miracles happen. Thank you Rick, Ruth and Jada!!
Did not eat at the hotel
Mattress was uncomfortable- towels are thin and scratchy- no shower gel in the container- the additional charge over the advertised rate- I reserved a room for $805 for the 3 nights- the charge I was told when I checked in was $940 due to a deposit and a non refundable $35 /day fee that could use at the hotel- that should have been clear when the reservation was made- I didn’t intend to eat at the hotel or use the facility.
Pillows, shower
We were in 4. There were only 2 towels available. The extra two brought were super thin and a bit smaller. We needed a glass of milk for the kids and they charged us 6 USD for it, I thought it was a bit cheap and unwelcoming considering we paid more than 400USD for the room- for 1 night.
Very clean, friendly staff easy access to subway station in other surrounding stores
I asked for extra towels and washcloth several times and they took forever to get to me, I also heard some noise coming from the ceiling sounded like somebody fell or something fell, and it happened throughout the night
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Buffet breakfast was decent but cost extra. Parking is available across the street for extra. Rooms are simple, small with no views. Beds are comfortable.
Small room. Nothing is included. Facilities are nothing special.
Nic
Arogantny recepcny!!!!!
My wife and I recently enjoyed a long weekend at the Hilton Brooklyn. The common areas, rooms, etc. were all super clean and neat. One complaint of many hotels is a clunky, loud HVAC unit. The unit in our room was so quiet and effective. Seems an odd compliment, but, it truly was. The stars of the weekend were front desk Emily and Rick; I was booked on a night of points and a night of cash. These two managed the process just perfectly. They are an asset. Locale was also a bonus with ease of access to numerous MTA lines.
Clean room new and comfy bed. Surprisingly quiet given the location. Text communications with staff very well done.
I had asked for a 400+ sf room, which I did not get. I asked twice, no luck. I paid $1K for 2 nights. For a smaller room than I had ordered. In the grand scheme of things it's no biggie but lesson here is check in asap, I got screwed because I checked in late on a busy holiday.
The hotel was very clean, great food, good gym and had amazing customer service. Ruth the front desk girl was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful and so friendly! She pointed me in all the right directions with things I needed and made everything effortless and smooth. It was like the customers were lining up just to see Ruth. We were all impressed with her multi tasking yet always keeping a positive attitude! I will be sure to be back next time we are in the area. Thank you Hilton for everything. 10 out of 10 experience.
Clean, modern, nice staff, excellent breakfasts
For price is high as the other 4 stars hotel, but no bath robes.
Modern, clean, good location, nice staff and excellent breakfast
Positives: - Rooms are clean and spacious - Hotel is clean - Front desk staff is helpful and courteous - Suhel, who worked the breakfast room was incredibly kind and helpful. He should run the place Negatives: - Hotel is just loud. Constant slamming doors, staff talking loudly and banging things. If you’re trying to rest during the day, good luck - One of the bartenders was super rude. Always looked like I was bothering her with any request. Would’ve spent more at the bar if the service wasn’t so poor. Would I go back? Probably not.
Nothing
Restaurant & breakfast area average. Odor in corridors. Poorly lit lobby area. Average faciiity.
This was one of the nicer Hilton hotels in NYC. It is quite new and the decor of the rooms of the hotel was stylish and fresh. The rooms were very spacious by NYC standards. Hotel is super conveniently located with several Subway station options and only a couple of blocks from downtown Brooklyn. It definitely had a happening Brooklyn vibe. The bar/restaurant area off the lobby was jumping. I loved the very cute Brooklyn styled uniforms of the staff. The whole hotel is really enjoyable. Rooms as mentioned were a good size for NYC, but really nicely styled, appointed, and comfortable. Lots of great walks to be had from the hotel in different directions and it was easy to appreciate Brooklyn with its own NYC identity from here : ) It is true the exec lounge is very basic ( I had Diamond access), but exec lounges at American hotels are generally pretty basic if you are travelling from Australia/Asia or internationally. Regardless.... Loved the location, rooms & vibes and am booked again for a couple of nights on my upcoming trip back to NYC Feb '26 to enjoy some more Brooklyn vibes and change it up from Manhattan : )
Location.
Indifferent front desk staff. Not friendly . Hotel room heat and cooling system not functioning. Really late on the day cleaning by hotel housekeeping and not done well. Promotes a $35.00 a day credit to spend at hotel, but then charges $10 for a Diet Coke. One of the two elevators broken during most of stay. No stairway to use going up. Created delays and backlog taking elevator. Texts from manager of hotel asking ‘how stay was’ was pointless!
Staff attitude
Ugly room design, lack of basic amenities, high price, room view.
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service provided by your cleaning staff. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the cleaning staff were consistently friendly and courteous throughout my stay. Thank you again for their outstanding work.
I was at the hotel a few days ago and I have to say that it is an excellent hotel, the rooms are very clean, the lady who cleaned my room on the third floor was very attentive, I don't remember her name but she is a lady with long black hair. The only bad thing is the 35 dollars they charge you extra.
my positive experience at your property, "A lovely getaway in the heart of Brooklyn." I have stayed at this property numerous times, and my recent visit was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and provides a high level of service. I would especially like to acknowledge the housekeeping staff for their exceptional daily service. I loved my room (room 428), and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Although I didn't have a chance to visit the bar and lounge area, I appreciate the staff's efforts to accommodate guests. The property's location is also a great advantage, being close to many attractions. This property consistently exceeds expectations.
I had a wonderful experience during my stay! The staff were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. A special thank you to Jade and Kieona at the front desk, who were exceptionally helpful and kind throughout my visit. I really appreciated the convenient texting option, which made communication so easy — the team responded quickly to my pre-arrival questions and even checked in during my stay to see if I needed anything. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and genuine care truly made a difference. Highly recommend this hotel for its amazing customer service, comfort and hospitality!
Beautiful hotel, great location. Touhi (spelling?) at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Clean, quiet, comfortable room.
Wonderful stay for NYC Marathon weekend. Remodeled room, comfortable bed, and attentive and friendly staff! Will stay again soon!
I must say that Jade far exceeded expectations at the front desk in terms of professionalism. She consistently demonstrated kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism, while also displaying enthusiasm when assisting customers. I highly recommend her to any organization, and I believe that Hilton made an excellent decision in hiring her. We need more employees like Jade working at the front desk, as she consistently goes above and beyond, which is a rare quality in customer service these days. Thank you.
Fantastic location in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn — close to great restaurants, shops, and easy subway access to Manhattan. The hotel feels modern and well-maintained, with a comfortable atmosphere throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to assist with any requests. The in-house restaurant exceeded expectations — the food was delicious, reasonably priced, and convenient for both breakfast and dinner.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, though the gym could use a few more equipment options and some of the hallways felt a bit dimly lit. Otherwise, everything met or exceeded expectations.
Hotel was in a great central location - easy to walk to subway and downtown. Front desk staff was always kind and willing to answer questions. Room itself was clean and spacious and was a quiet place for us to rest.
