Our breakfast experience was fantastic. From the minute we entered the restaurant we were well looked after. Staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. The choice of food available was fantastic. Something for everyone. Amazing.

We booked in on a half board basis. We could not fault the food or customer service in any way. Everything was fantastic. Our only disappointment was the restriction on which on site restaurants we could dine in with the half board basis. We could only choose from two restaurants, either Italian or Asian with a limited choice of menu if we did not want to pay extra for some of the options available.

I was upgraded on arrival which included dinner at either of the two restaurants which was a nice surprise and very appreciated. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and perfectly maintained. All staff were all without exception friendly and attentive. Would stay again!

I had no negative experiences so there is nothing that did not meet my expectations. All staff were helpful, friendly and chatty, the hotel is beautiful, the room was exceptionally clean and serviced perfectly by the friendly staff

I did stay in this Hotel many times (more than 100 times) and it feels like coming home, when I check in, people greet me using my name. All staff members are very friendly and supportive. Most of my evenings, when not having dinner out with customers and/or friends I am spending in the Club Lounge answering my mails and will be pampered by the Club Lounge Team Marian, Melissa and Ana Lisa. These ladies do an excellent job there and they are the main reason, why I return to this Hotel again and again. I do not mention anything about cleanliness, condition of rooms etc. as there is nothing to comment about (and I would not return to such a Hotel if there would be issues)

A warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is beautiful, fully air-conditioned, and exceptionally clean. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive, which truly made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel offers several swimming pools, each with its own atmosphere: a pool suitable for children, a swimming pool perfect for doing laps with a deep section, and another more scenic pool that is ideal for relaxing. There are also several padel courts, different spa areas, and very easy access to the beach directly from the pool area. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The food is also excellent, with plenty of choice and very good quality. A very special mention goes to Faysal AL WAHAIBI, who looked after us so attentively during breakfast throughout our stay. Thank you sincerely for your kindness, your availability and, most of all, your wonderful positive energy every morning. It was a real pleasure seeing you at breakfast and having the opportunity to chat with you. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay, and a very special thank you to Faysal for all the little touches that truly make a difference. We would be delighted to come back — hopefully see you again soon, InShaAllah.

I recently visited Trader Vic's Muscat and really enjoyed them. The place is so beautiful and decent. Cocktails are refreshing too. Chef Sunil recommended new dishes to us -Shrimp Fried Wonton, Chicken Noodles and Szechuan Prawns Overall All three dishes are delicious and a great addition to the menu. The Shrimp Fried Wonton is a great starter; the Chicken Noodles are comforting, and the Szechuan Prawns are packed with flavor. I would definitely recommend trying them.

Muscat intercontinental was an amazing hotel to stay at. The check in was very quick and our room was ready on arrival. We had the king suite and it was amazing. Spacious clean and very comfortable. The staff were one of the most friendliest iv ever met. Breakfast was bespoke and the resturant staff always welcome you with a warm smile. The day we left the staff bought us out a beautiful cake to thank us for staying Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental! The hotel itself is beautiful inside and impeccably clean throughout. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome, and receiving a room upgrade upon arrival was a fantastic added bonus. We opted for the half-board package, and the food was very good. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the team at Musandam restaurant were so lovely—nothing was ever too much trouble. A special shout-out to Chef Salwa at the live omelette station, who is always so friendly and greets everyone with a warm smile! The staff at Tomato, the Italian restaurant, were equally brilliant—super friendly, chatty, and attentive. Great food too! My children’s favourite! We particularly loved the covered lap pool, which felt like a private oasis—we had it pretty much to ourselves most of the time! On top of that, our room was cleaned to perfection every single day by very helpful, friendly housekeeping staff. Only drawback I would say would be the taxi service. Very expensive. I would advise anyone staying to download the Otaxi and /or Tasleem app. Walk away from the hotel and from there you will catch a far cheaper taxi. If you are looking for a hotel with great facilities, incredible food, and genuinely warm hospitality, I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

An great hotel for families when visiting Oman. Big pool and many sports facilities like a small football field, padel courts and a gym. Also direct access to the beach. The F&B staff from Musandam and from Tomato restaurant are amazing. They really go out and make your stay enjoyable. Here’s a polished English review: I visited Musandam Restaurant and had a wonderful breakfast experience. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great variety of food, and the entire team was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I would especially like to thank Chef Salwa at the Egg Station. Thank you to the staff at the Intercontinental Muscat for your friendly and helpful hospitality during our stay in June. Especially our hosts for morning breakfast who welcomed us every morning for the two weeks we were there with our regular coffee and omelette along with a chat to begin or pleasurable sunny day. Great location with the ocean at the back door we overlooked from our balcony . Friendly cleaning staff kept our lovely room spotless and everything topped up each day while we were sight seeing.
