No estaba 100% limpio ... estuvimos en muchos momentos sin agua.. sin avisar y sin poner solución. Las tarjetas de acceso a las habitaciones se desactivaron en varias ocasiones...Todo el mundo se desentiende.el personal salvo alguno que otro . Están totalmente antipáticos. Deberían explicar que el "only adults" es porque puedes ir solo a dormir y a comer . Ya que no hay nada que hacer. Actividades aburridas y son muy pocas . Estuvimos prácticamente una semana y fue terrible. Te avisan de que con esa estadía y pago (nada barato) puedes acceder al otro hotel y la verdad solo nos quedábamos aqui a dormir. A comer.. a la piscina y a las actividades nos íbamos al otro mil veces mejor en todo. Familiar y todo pero mil veces mejor en todos los aspectos comparados con el "ONLY ADULTS" .LOS ANIMADORES, CAMAREROS MUCHO MAS EDUCADOS Y SIMPÁTICOS. Y MEJOR MUSICA Y ACTIVIDADES. NO VOLVERIA AQUI NI LO RECOMENDARÍA a menos que quieras ir a un hotel TODO INCLUIDO solo a dormir y comer ya que no ofrecen nada mas. Fue una experiencia terrible .. y encima eramos un grupo de 8 ... q pasábamos el dia buscando que hacer y no teníamos opciones. Amenos que nos fuéramos al otro hotel como hicimos toda la semana

Il trattamento di chi lavora verso i clienti. Noi eravamo una coppia e siamo stati trattati diversamente da altre persone. In più mi sono fatto male in una stanza per colpa del acqua. Avevo pagato per la stanza fronte piscina e me l’hanno cambiata con un altra che era più lontana.

From the start of our arrival there were problems, no arrival drinks, not even offered a water. Reception staff very robotic no personality going through a script. We were given a room someone else clearly occupied by the cases and person we seen when entering the room. After a second and third attempt we were finally given a better room although the room had an awful smell from the rotting sargaso on the beach. (Which took a whole week to clear) The air-conditioning in the room is poor and centrally controlled ours only got to 26°,27° Room was clean but accessories are dated and broken down. Food in the restaurants is varied and edible but not tasty or morish. The snack bar, bar nostrum at beach has lots of flies and some staff were asking guest for money, not tips just asking for money. Some staff Maria , Felix in particular are hard working and run rings around others. These mentioned people work with purposes and clearly enjoy their job. Smiles and very pleasant with all your guests. Others staff members are rude don't speak are intimidating and clearly only there for money. The entertainment teams daily activities are repetitive and boring. Aqua gym and volleyball every day... We found the sister hotel next door more modern and inviting, their entertainment in the theatre is better too. Although staff and food still unimpressive. We had a massaman curry in the Asian restaurant which was more like a bland stew no flavour. Therefore we will not be returning or able to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location right on the beach is wonderful but there is nothing outside of the hotel apart from a couple of little gift shops on the beach. Check in was problematic after 2 attempts we finally got the room we wanted with a great view of the beach even if it was a bit smelly from the rotting seaweed on the beach. The room a free upgrade was spacious but we did have continual issues with the door keys throughout the holiday and the air conditioning isn’t great, centrally controlled by the hotel and insufficient, the staff are all clearly told to lie and will give you lots of excuses about it being fixed but the reality is it’s controlled. Food at the all inclusive is adequate but the Steakhouse is awful, the Swiss restaurant was good and the Italian ok but overall for an à la carte experience disappointing and they really need to sharpen up on service. The animation team and entertainment overall was hit and miss, and very repetitive considering we only had two weeks I think we had 4 Karoake nights, the entertainment is basically on you although you do have access to sister hotel which do grander shows but again repetitive. Service from some staff was exceptional , however staff seem miserable and some staff don’t speak at all, the animation don’t speak if your English speaking and the girls particularly are very lazy. The hotel needs a significant upgrade to modern standards , we had issues with door locks, the safe and the keys constantly and everything takes so long to sort out … We had a nice holiday but no way is this hotel 5 star, maybe a 3..wouldn’t come back sorry , hotel management need to invest and upgrade along with retraining all staff to bring it up to standard.

Where do I start?? There were soo many issues I will have to put everything in point form. 6 of us went to Punta Cana princess adults only and 5 of us got sick. 3 of which ended up in the hospital with diarrhea, vomiting and nausea. Each couple in the group changed rooms 2 to 4 times and all of them had issues. When we spoke to random guests on the property everyone was experiencing something similar to us. Here is the list: - no a/c - rooms dirty - sink handles had mold/rust - same with shower handle - the beach was full of seaweed so we couldn't swim - shower wouldn't drain - there was a leak in the ceiling - cleaners did not clean the room properly while we were there. They didnt mop, sweep, remove used cups/plates nor make the bed We spoke to front desk who kept "sending maintenance" who never showed up all 5 days. They sent us to guest service who just wanted us to change rooms again and again. The manager offered only 2 of us to move over to the sister property which wouldn't be fair. Calling sell off vacations didn't help, calling Sunwing didn't help, nexus said they aren't involved. This was my sister's 25th birthday trip and it is memorable for the wrong reasons. After contacting sunwing and the property all they offered me was a possible upgrade to my next stay! Who is paying my flight?? And why would I trust the property after this!? Do not stay here! (Unfortunately I had to screenshot the videos because I can't upload them)

The rooms are horrible and outdated. Room 5004 was extremely damp and had a musty, moldy smell. The sheets and bed were damp. My clothing smell musty. I'm extremely disappointed.

Absolutely amazing holiday.. I have booked to come back for a third year.. I am a solo snobby traveller from the UK and I absolutely rate this hotel. They go above and beyond and if there is an issue they sort it! I had excellent service on my second visit and cannot wait to come back again this year. I cannot believe the reviews about the food.. I am a fussy eater and I rave about the fondue and Mexican restaurant to this day! Lajara is amazing and Carlos and Miguel and Michelle on the desk were absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to see you all again.

We were able to be on a ground floor, so no stairs. The property is smaller compared to the mega resorts. The pool water was Clear and Clean. The quality of the food was better than the larger resort we left. Smaller selection but higher quality food and drink choices.

I wish it had a night DJ with dance tunes to groove by every night at the beach bar or lobby. I did enjoy the live music. So leaving the live music for some good Reggaeton DJ by the beach till 1pm would have been great for an all adult resort.

The road that gives access to the hotel is terrible and full of holes. The beach is nice but there was a significant amount of algae on the shore and it wasn't cleared to give access to the water. The room was very good, spacious and with the right amount of facilities to keep you comfortable (jacuzzi, coffee, tea and mini bar, which was refilled everyday). The hotel was clean; however, the room wasn't cleaned daily. We had to ask for it to be cleaned once and there was a day that it wasn't cleaned at all. The worst aspect of the hotel was the service. I had to ask for an extra pillow 3 times in one day! In the restaurants and bars, if you didn't tip the waiters, they didn't seem to keen to serve you. Also, information from the receptions wasn't always accurate. The food in the restaurants were OK. Breakfast was good, mainly the boy who made omelettes, I believe his name is Deivi. He's always had a smile on his face even without a tip! Overall, the stay was good even if could have been better. The weather was reasonable - not too hot and there was always a breeze. I don't tend to go back to places I visit and I definitely won't be back to the Dominican Republic.

I must say this was one of the best resorts I´ve ever been. The rooms, the whole resort, the pool, the beach - everything was kept super clean and welcoming. Staff is super friendly and helpful, you can book whatever tours you want as they have a manned booth for tours whole day at the lobby. The room was quiet, clean, well looked after and overall great! You need to be in an "island mindset" though - not all times are kept super sharp like Europeans are accustomed to, but that shouldn´t ruin your holiday. Keep an open mind, if they say something is going to happen, it will! It works both ways, your bookings can also have a 15 min buffer in them, so ;) They run activities all day long that you can participate if you wish so you´ll not get bored at Princess resort! If at all possible, always book the all inclusive - it is totally worth it! There are pleanty of restaurants - we were there for one week and not once did we eat twice in one restaurant for dinner. You can also visit the resort next door, all restaurants and bars. Also - the restort next door has a lot of wildlife, so worth a visit!

Great experience at the Punta Cana Princess. Room was very good with all amenities working well overlooking pool and part beach view. Food was very good and animation (especially "Chicken Legs") was very entertaining. Very small and intimate atmosphere with beach, pool, restaurants and lobby all in walking distance. Alexander Gomez at Guest Services was extremely helpful. Any concerns, he will address them promptly. All staff are pleasant and welcoming and will great you with a "Hola" as you pass by them. I highly recommend the Punta Cana Princess and look forward to returning soon!

¡Una experiencia increíble! Lo mejor del resort, sin duda, fueron los restaurantes: la comida estaba deliciosa y el servicio fue excelente. El buffet también estaba bien, aunque en los desayunos echamos un poco de menos más variedad. Todo el personal fue súper amable y atento durante toda la estancia. También contratamos el paquete VIP y no nos arrepentimos en absoluto, ¡merece totalmente la pena! Además, hicimos la cena romántica en la playa, donde mi pareja y yo nos comprometimos. Fue un momento inolvidable y la atención fue de 10/10.

Lo único que no nos gustó fue que, a pesar de que el resort está justo frente a la playa, no pudimos disfrutarla por el sargazo. Estuvimos 7 días y solo vimos que limpiaran la playa en 2 ocasiones. Aunque retiraban parte de las algas de la arena, el agua seguía estando llena de sargazo, por lo que era muy difícil bañarse. Creemos que podrían mejorar la gestión de este aspecto para que los huéspedes puedan aprovechar mejor la playa en temporadas de sargazo.

Based on the way this resort is advertised and the reviews, my husband and I expected a relaxing, luxury adults-only honeymoon. Instead, we encountered one problem after another from the moment we arrived. This resort is a 4 star property at very best, completely misrepresenting its advertised rating. On arrival, our room was 28°C with a broken fan and a broken shower. After raising this 5 times and being ignored by reception repeatedly and kept being told “someone is coming to sort it”, after 3 hours I asked us to be moved to a second room, where the room temperature was only slightly better, however the main light and phone were broken, and the hairdryer was hanging off the wall. I even emailed the Guest Services Manager the morning after our arrival to lay out all of these failures from our first night, but I received absolutely no response, which is completely out of order. To make matters worse, our key cards repeatedly deactivated throughout the trip, and our bed sheets were changed only ONCE during a two week stay. If you want to relax, avoid this place. There is zero noise management. Bars and entertainment teams blast music at maximum volume to compete with one another. At one point, music was clashing from four separate angles simultaneously (and this is just in the daytime!) Worse, the afternoon pool "entertainment" consists of staff bringing up intoxicated guests to twerk and gyrate at the front of the pool. It is incredibly tacky, trashy, and completely shatters any "luxury spa" atmosphere. Entertainment staff are excessively pushy, sitting on guests' sun loungers when they try to relax, and we even witnessed staff waking up sleeping guests to force them to participate. Entertainers also force their guests to add 5* reviews which is completely out of order! The pool itself was another huge issue. The water quality is visibly poor and it was literally sending everything green, ruining swimsuits, clothes and inflatables, which points to a severe lack of proper chemical balance and maintenance. The main buffet is of poor quality, heavily plagued by blackbirds picking food off open stations and flies buzzing around uncovered fruit while staff do nothing about it. Basic items like bacon were only available once in 14 days. The à la carte restaurants were overall okay, but it depends on which staff you get on the night on whether you get a good service or not. With the exception of a rare few, the majority of the staff are actively rude and dismissive to guests. A bartender named Yeicol at the pool bar repeatedly and intentionally refused to serve us, making eye contact 5+ times over 10 minutes while ignoring my husband until we walked away with no drink, this happened on more than one occasion with this bartender. A male spa worker named Eden subjected us to intimidation and harassment, physically chasing us when we politely said "no" to a sales pitch, and staring at me blankly and aggressively for 10 seconds on a separate day to the point I felt very uncomfortable. The only good things I can note is the grounds are beautiful and the groundsmen work very hard to keep on top of it. Also, Felix, a pool cup collector. Felix demonstrates true 5-star hospitality. Every morning he greeted us with an authentic smile, helped with our parasol, and came to bid us a lovely farewell on our last day. Management needs to completely overhaul their staff and take a leaf out of Felix’s book. Avoid this resort if you are looking for a 5* resort or any sort of relaxation.

Mi esposa se intoxicó con la comida del resort y a nadie aparentó importarle o mostrar ayuda con el tema a pesar de que busqué ayuda por toda la facilidad. Tuve que ir a un centro totalmente desconocido y a nuestra merced, sin conocer a nadie por la zona.

I don’t usually write reviews, but when I do, they are usually on the positive side… NOT THIS TIME! This resort I stayed in was hands down the worst resort I have stayed in in all my 30 years of travel to tropical resorts. My stay at Punta Cana Princess All Suites Spa & Resort was one of the most disappointing resort experiences I've ever had. Based on the way this resort is advertised and the reviews, I expected a relaxing, luxury adults-only vacation. Instead, I encountered one problem after another after another from the moment I arrived. Let’s start with the room! First it was clearly outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The furniture was worn, the room did not feel clean, and there were obvious signs of poor maintenance. The air conditioning in the first room was not working so we had to change rooms. The next room the A/C either did not work properly or struggled to keep the room cool and comfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Speaking of sleep… my bed felt like a hard lumpy pillow, and it also leaned. Did I mention that they moved us from a king room to two twin beds ☹ For a resort that promotes itself as a 5-star destination, the accommodations fell far below what I consider acceptable. Cleanliness was another major issue. The room felt neglected, and it was obvious that housekeeping and maintenance standards were lacking. Housekeeping would just make the bed and clean nothing else. There was toilet paper stuck to the wall, and they never got that off. Daily my key card would stop working and I had to go to the front desk every day… sometimes several times a day. The shower water would run past the shower door, so we had to put a towel down to keep it from running onto the bathroom floor. It took them until 12:30am to bring us washcloths. We also had to put a towel down at the front door because the gap was so large that mosquitoes would get in the room. When problems were reported, they were not addressed in a timely manner, leaving me frustrated and feeling like guest satisfaction was not a priority. The food was another huge disappointment. Many of the meals were repetitive, and the quality simply did not meet the expectations of an all-inclusive resort. The dining experience overall was underwhelming, and the food was the worst I have ever had at any resort I have ever been to. There was one restaurant on property (the Fondue restaurant) which was some of the worst food I have ever had in life. If there is a review out there that says it was good… they got paid to say it! Customer service was inconsistent throughout my stay. While a few employees were friendly, many seemed uninterested in resolving guest concerns. Luis was absolutely the best! That guy wanted to make sure we were good at all cost! I do have to mention entertainment. I felt sorry for those kids. They were there from 9am until midnight. The same 5 kids for 7 days in a row! Chico, Milney (that might not be how she spells it) and Baby (that’s what I called her) were awesome, but the routine was sooo boring! They had to do the same thing (routine) every day. The DJ was disconnected except for the foam party, which was the only time he played different music. The check-in process was slow, communication was poor, and it often felt like legitimate complaints were ignored instead of taken seriously. The only bright spots were the resort grounds and the pool (kinda). Unfortunately, those positives could not make up for the poor accommodations, disappointing food, lack of maintenance, and inconsistent customer service. Many other guests that I had spoken to had experienced the exact same problems. The recurring complaints about outdated rooms, poor air conditioning, cleanliness issues, maintenance delays, and weak customer service suggest these are not isolated incidents but ongoing problems. I cannot and will not EVER recommend Punta Cana Princess All Suites Spa & Resort to anyone looking for a true 5-star vacation. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and invests in meaningful improvements, because the resort has great potential but currently falls far way short of the expectations it creates. It was so bad that I don’t ever want to go back to Punta Cana EVER again in life! To whoever reads this all the way to the end. If you book and stay here, you have been warrened.

The cleaning staff was terrible; there was a wet towel under the bed quilt on the first day. The room was not cleaned for the first three days of my stay. Then I gave twenty dollars to the cleaning lady, Leticia, to please refill the toilet paper in the bathroom. She became a real pest to me in a very inappropriate way; she wouldn't leave me alone. She followed me down the halls and came into my room, and even though I put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign, she didn't respect my privacy. I made six complaints to the manager that I needed my privacy in my room and he replied that the cleaning lady Leticia had made a counter-complaint against me saying that I was "not nice enough to the resort staff." Clearly, this is a lie. I work in Germany with all kinds of people from all over the world. I am a friendly person; I don't need to be close friends with anyone on the resort staff. But in other words, my complaint was ignored. PLUS : Despite being a five-star resort, on June 19th two women danced inappropriately in the pool without clothes on like in a cabaret. My trip to de-stress from my work life was a total mess and stressful in every way.

On the whole a good holiday. Have been to DR several times and this hotel compared okay with others. Issues on arrival were sorted out without too much delay. Main buffet restaurant was okay, choices sometimes a bit strange but we could usually find something. We ate at all 3 al a carte - steak house wasn't really as you had to pay 50 dollars if you wanted steak. The options if you didn't want to pay were Mexican. The Italian was just about okay with limited choices. The seafood was by far the best, we ate from the buffet there at lunchtime and several times in the evenings. Lovely place to sit afterwards having a drink overlooking the sea. There were a good number of sunbeds on the beach, but the hotel was nowhere near full so that might not be the case when it's busy. However, the beach area was spoilt by people bringing their own music devices and playing them loudly. The beach bar played a variety of music all day so there was no need for anyone else to play their own. If those people had been considerate and wore earphones we would have had the peaceful quiet holiday we went for. Music was played loudly around the pool all day which is why we prefer the peace of the beach. A security guard is on duty all day and night. We asked several times if they would ask the other holiday makers to turn their devices down. They basically ignored us and went back to eying up the younger girls in their swimsuits. Quite what they were there for we never did work out. Due to the lack of consideration from other visitors and the disinterest from hotel staff I would not return to this hotel. So if you want constant loud music, often from several different places all day this is for you. However, if you want some quiet and peace go elsewhere

Pesimo que contratamos VIP y no nos dieron el 15% de descuento en el Spa. No resurtieron adecuadamente el minibar de la habitación. Es la segunda vez que nos quedamos en este hotel y no me quisieron dar informacion acerca de mas estancias en el hotel, el chico dijo que tenia que tomar a fuerza una platica. Yo solo queria saber acerca de las estancias y precios para otras vacaciones alla.

Cuando llegamos a la habitación había mucho olor a humedad, tenía una filtración en el techo, en la entrada y baño, me quisieron cambiar pero cuando me llevaron a la otra habitación, ésta estaba peor. Nos quedamos en la primera y todas las noches teníamos que poner las toallas en el suelo porque de lo contrario el agua llegaba hasta la recámara. Nos dijeron que habían tenido problemas con las tuberías y muchas habitaciones estaban pasando por lo mismo. No las repararon en 6 días!!

I like the resort for sure the beds was comfortable customer service was good.

The room wasn't clean properly there was mold growing on the wall. When check in the floor was wet and smelling like it's clean with a dirty map

The staff is very nice! The only thing I liked about here.

The rooms are dirty, don’t use the jacuzzi, they don’t clean it, the food is nasty. the beach has Seaweed everywhere that barely gets removed.

All employers are very nice and helpful. The also are very attentive to all our needs. In special Angel área restaurant, Junior animación, Patricia and Alexander at the guess service , Leticia house keeping, Yoleiza at the bar at the pool. The food service is excellent and everything is very clean.

They should have more entertainment or shows.

The pool is nice. The entertainment staff does their best to entertain the guests. The staff are mostly friendly, but they need more training on hospitality, as some are passive aggressive.

The room was not ready and we have to wait up to 1 hour to be allowed entrance. At the check-in, zero details of the facilities and procedures have been provided, so we have to go back and ask for a proper onboarding process. The mattress is awful. The sink in the bathroom was gross and dirty. In our last night, there was a cockroach on the bed.

Fue un excelente alojamiento vacacional a nivel de servicio del personal, espacios públicos, bebidas, alimentación y personal de animación.

La habitación estaba muy cómoda, sin embargo una puerta de un armario estaba mala y algo de deterioro en la llave de la ducha. Pese a esa todo estuvo muy bueno, nada relevante sólo que puede ser un punto de mejora

The rooms are old and outdated. The A/C didn’t work properly, and the room stayed at 82°F. I paid for internet access, but it didn’t work either. The staff was not very helpful.

L'équipe très souriante et serviable, un bel espace pour la piscine et la mer.

La chambre avait quelques problèmes techniques qui n’a pas été réglée malgré notre signalement. Un peu calme comme établissement, on s’attendait à plus d’ambiance.

They initially gave us the “worst” suite in the resort: no hot water, air conditioning not working, and a balcony at the back with no view. We complained, and the next day we were moved to a fantastic, amazing suite with a pool and sea view, where everything was clean and working perfectly. The bed super comfortable. The best rooms are numbers 4000–5000. The beach, the pool, and the overall resort area were fantastic, and the food was very good, with a great variety and quantity - everything was delicious (except the coffee, no espresso!). We were also able to dine at the nice and cozy restaurants within the resort, which were included in the price we paid. Every evening, the entertainment team organized fun activities. Very kind staff.

Some negative points were the Wi-Fi, which did not work properly, and the room key card system, which sometimes proved to be unreliable.. Another issue was that many guests “reserved” the pool and beach chairs very early in the morning by leaving towels on them, making it difficult to find available sunbeds later in the day. The hotel’s location is also quite remote and isolated, so it is only possible to get around by taxi.
