Very welcoming reception upon arrival and excellent service from beginning to end. Top notch old school everything they can do do accommodate their guests. Very nice pool area, great breakfast, comfy bed and linens, great views, beautiful beach just downstairs.

Very minor thing:Room was a bit smaller than it looked in the pictures. Not too small, but perhaps a bit small for a "junior suite" at a five star resort.

We travel quite extensively and have been fortunate enough to experience many wonderful hotels around the world, but our stay at JOIA Iberostar has genuinely stood out. The level of service, attention to detail, and warmth we experienced throughout our stay was truly exceptional. Every member of staff we encountered—from the reception team and pool staff to the restaurant team—was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A special thank you goes to Tiziana, a member of the hotel management team, who took the time to show us around and personally engage with guests during breakfast. Her genuine interest and warm hospitality made us feel particularly welcome and added a very personal touch to our stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with everything exceptionally clean and thoughtfully presented. The quality and variety of the food are excellent, and the high standards are evident throughout the property. We will leave with wonderful memories of our stay and would like to thank the entire team for making our time here so special. It has been a truly memorable experience.

- Exceptional breakfast - Impeccable rooms and bathrooms, clean rooms and communal spaces - Star Prestige is absolutely worth the money if you plan on staying a lot in the hotel - Staff was very friendly and helpful - The view from our room was outstanding - Bathroom amenities great - Terrace of the room (Star Prestige Junior Room with Seaview) was exceptional There are a lot of comments regarding the price of the hotel - I would like to address these by saying that if you decide to stay here, you should be aware of the fact that you are staying in a 5 star beachside hotel, so the prices are according. It is on the moderate side of pricey compared to other options, but the money you are spending are well worth it. The staff is great, the views are awesome, the beach is really close and the food is very good. The bar prices are as well in accordance with a 5 star hotel (10-15 euros for a cocktail, 8-10 euros for spirits, wines and champagne varies on what you get but in general reasonably priced)

- Beds were too soft for us, the sides of the mattress should be reinforced a bit - The servers were way to eager to clean our table and we felt rushed sometimes - Unfortunately we tried the steak multiple times (buffet dinner, hotel restaurants) and they cannot get the temperature right (which is a shame, otherwise the meals were great and nicely cooked) - English could be improved with some of the front desk staff These were minor inconveniences, they did not affect our stay in general.

Das Zimmer war gross und modern eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr geräumig und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war wohl das Highlight und lässt keine Wünsche offen!

Am Zimmer selbst gibt es nichts auszusetzen und auch die gesamte Lokalität an sich ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Wassertemperatur des Pools, welche mit 32°C etwas zu warm ist.

This is a wonderful hotel, and it was not my first time staying here. Everything is always very clean, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the atmosphere is lovely. I would especially like to mention Paola at the front desk. I travel a lot, but I rarely meet someone so genuine, positive, and caring. She helped us with everything throughout our stay, always with a smile and great attention. PAOLA made our stay even more special. The hotel is very lucky to have her on their team!

Skvělá poloha krásného hotelu s vynikajícími službami, milým a pozorným personálem (zejména Pablo, náš buttler). Doporučuji si připlatit za klubovou úroveń ubytování Prestige Star. Určitě se rádi vrátíme.

Klimatizace nefungovala podle našich představ, ale na Tenerife zrovna bylo extrémní teplo. Za běžného počasí asi dostačující.

Another stay, another perfect experience! This time, I wanted my husband to discover the hotel I had been talking about for so long… and he completely agreed with everything I had told him. Once again, we were beyond impressed. The quality of the hotel, the exceptional service, and the attention to every detail truly deserve not only 5 stars, but even more. A very special thank you to Roma for his unwavering kindness and outstanding service. Without him, the bar simply wouldn’t be the same! He always makes every moment special. A huge thank you as well to Andrea, and especially Stefano, for making sure every single lunch was absolutely perfect. Many thanks also to Gloria, José, and Antonio for their professionalism and warm hospitality at the reception. And a very special mention to Paola… Every time I see her, I can’t help but smile. She is an absolute sweetheart. ☺️ I have always believed, and I will always say it: it’s the people who make a hotel, not the other way around. cost of eating in your restaurants was extravagant! So we ate out the whole time. We live in Marbella which is pricey for Spain, but your prices outdid Marbella!!

La atención del personal fue exquisita. Desde las recepcionistas, hasta la limpiadora y los camareros. El buffet exquisito. En nuestro caso solo acudimos al desayuno. La habitación es muy amplia, silenciosa, con aire acondicionado y supercómoda. La piscina bastante amplia. Nos sentimos muy a gusto. Desconectamos 100%.

-Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Mitarbeitende in allen Bereichen -Tolle Gartenanlage mit schönem Ausblick und großem Pool - gute vegane Optionen am Frühstücksbuffet (pflanzliche Milch, veganer Joghurt, veg. Käse und Frischkäse) - aufgrund eines frühen Check-Outs wurde uns ermöglicht, vor allen anderen Frühstück vom Buffet zu nehmen -insgesamt sehr ruhiges Ambiente (viele Menschen über 70, keine Party-Menschen) Uns hat es trotz der Kritikpunkte sehr gut gefallen!

- obwohl das Hotel wusste, dass wir beide vegan leben (war vorher schriftlich angekündigt und auch nochmal beim Check in besprochen) fand sich trotzdem wiederkehrend nicht vegane Schokolade, Pralinen etc auf dem Zimmer. Sich so etwas zu notieren und dann vegane Alternativen ins Zimmer zu stellen, macht den Unterschied zwischen einem guten und sehr guten Service aus -viele Brötchen und Brote waren leider nicht vegan, auch die Wurstalternative war vegetarisch. Da könnte man auch auf eine vegane Optionen umsteigen, die dann alle essen könnten -auch die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, die über den Tag im.poolbereich verteilt wurden (Eis, Cocktails) waren oft nicht vegan, es wurde dann auch keine Alternative angeboten. -auch in dieser Preisklasse lassen sich Menschen morgens vor dem Frühstück ihren perfekten Liegeplatz aufbauen und verschwinden dann für mehrere Stunden. Wer nach einem späten Frühstück in den Garten kommt, kann nur noch in die 2. Oder 3. Reihe -Unser Zimmer, insbesondere das Bad war etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Не сподобалось, що на вечерю в буфет був дрес код((( це ж все таки курорт… розумію дрес-код в а-ля карти ресторан, але не в буфет. Тим паче , що навколо купа ресторанів де немає дрес коду чоловікам … ніхто ж не говорить про пляжний одяг, але чому не можна в класичних чоловічих шортах 🤷‍♀️

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmern und super bequemen Betten. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hatte jederzeit ein freundliches Wort . Das Frühstück und das abendliche Buffet sind nicht mehr zu übertreffen.Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

El hotel es espectacular, desde las habitaciones, los comedores y restaurantes, hasta las instalaciones. La piscina es alucinante y el agua calentita. Buen acceso directo a la playa, y cerca de muchas tiendas, restaurantes y bares a pie. Los empleados del hotel con como una gran familia, siempre atentos y serviciales. Nos sentimos como en casa.

Beautiful location

Dark inside and full of old people. It was a bit like what I imagine being on a cruise would be like.

The heated pool was amazing - large and uncrowded. The sunbed area was lovely - many beds on manicured lawns overlooking the sea.

Location is perfect, with easy access to underground parking. The hotel breakfast were exceptional. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Staff is very helpful and nice.

Spa entry is not free, only one swimming pool outside and one whirlpool. The beach access is easy, but you have to pass small shopping mall (or go around). There are no hotel sunbeds on beach, you have to pay 9eur/day for one. There are many restaurants on left, but their are typical tourist eating places. To eat local, you need to walk a bit on right to another village or take 70eur/person/day halfboard.

Wunderbare Lage mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer von den meisten Juniorsuiten aus - sehr schöne Ausstattung - besonders nette Betreuung aller Mitarbeiter - das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen

Nur eine Anmerkung: Die Poolanlage ist wunderbar, aber alle Pools können nach 18:00 nicht mehr benutzt werden - Extra-Kosten für den Indoorpool auch da nur bis 18 Uhr, ist bei dem Preisniveau vielleicht ein bisschen übertrieben - nur ein persönlicher Eindruck: wir sind Musikfreunde, aber leider wird auf der Terrasse abends bis 22.30 (mit wenigen angenehmen Ausnahmen) extrem laut musiziert
