Faire payer un dépassement de deux heures car nous avons oublié de laisser la chambre à midi. Sachant que nos bagages étaient prêts et que nous étions juste en face à la piscine pas très commercial.

Me gustó todo. En general el hotel está muy bien en cuanto a la ubicación, el personal es muy amable, la limpieza es excelente, el restaurante bufet para desayuno y cena es muy amplio, tiene buen servicio y buen horario, las piscinas muy agradables y limpias, y me encantó el servicio directo a la hamaca de la cafetería. Sólo que creo que algunas habitaciones necesitan algo de actualización, sobre todo en los baños, lo cuál comenté, y me dijeron que ya lo tienen previsto. Pero en general, está muy bien. El ambiente del hotel es muy bueno. Pienso volver a hospedarme allí.

Spa - Facilities were amazing and staff were fabulous. Polite and friendly and very helpful. Made the holiday.

Lack of eating facilities for a 5*. Service in main restaurant was poor due to lack of staff and unhappy staff at that. When asking for a coffee I don’t expect to be told to wait in a 5* facility whilst the person seated other guests then return to us 15 minutes later serve water that was like warm and then have to ask again for hot water. Our first experience of dinner was also poor, when I requested a pork chop to be grilled and was told 5 minutes so come back, which I did only to then see the lady giving my pork chop to another guest. I was then told by a male colleague he would make another one, and it would be 10 minutes so again go away, which I did again and on return 10mins I was told I had to wait another 10 minutes. By this time, I had waited 25 minutes and all of my other food items had been eaten as they would have gone cold. The pool bar food was good but again staff unhappy and not keeping track as our food items ordered were input to your till then cancelled by error so when paying for our food they had no idea what we had. Due to all of our experience above, we then ate out as you will see from your data that although we paid for half board we ate once in main restaurant at night. The staff at the Sebastian gold level were great but again food supplied as free was “Dry” and bread only half toasted. Bryan was very helpful as was Carolina on yo ur guest relations. Both of them and the Spa staff knew was customer service was. The gold level was okay but several bed had not been cleaned as they had bird mess on them and on the floor some ants were gathering as some spillage of food from previous day had gathered. I do not write this review easily as your hotel was recommended by a friend, she has stayed with you twice and soon to stay again in October. Lots of improvements to be made for a 5*.

Ampiezza degli spazi comuni, professionalità e accoglienza del personale, qualità e varietà della colazione della cena a buffet, palestra paragonabile ad una virgin in piccolo, bellissime piscine esterne, posizione favorevolissima rispetto all’aeroporto, al centro commerciale ed alla spiaggia. Vista dalla camera eccezionale.

Ho avuto difficoltà a dormire per un paio di notti: il piumino è eccessivo ma è impossibile anche fare a meno di qualcosa per coprirsi. Avrei preferito un lenzuolo ed una coperta leggera. Altrimenti é necessario usare l’aria condizionata.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, die Lage sehr gut. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Leider musste wegen dem Sturm teilweise drinnen gefrühstückt werden. Die Platzverhältnisse waren dafür etwas eng. Auch fanden wir es seltsam, wieviele Gäste ihre Badetücher am Pool legen, ohne sie zu verwenden. Die Tücher wurden nicht weggenommen. Das habe ich in einem solchen Hotel schon sehr lange nicht mehr erlebt.

Le personnel super sympa (gracias David), le service voiturier, la surprise pour ma copine pour son anniversaire, la vue à couper le souffle depuis la chambre (vue sur mer). Le petit déjeuner, la plage juste à côté.

Geweldig hotel. Prachtig gelegen. Zeer luxe, maar toch heel ontspannen uitstraling. Vriendelijk personeel. Kindvriendelijk. Prachtig uitzicht uit de kamer met zijdelings zeezicht. Heerlijk eten, veel keuze. Mooi strand op enkele tientallen meters. Supermarkt vlakbij.

We hadden een kamer met 2 2-persoonsbedden, maar 1 daarvan was een oncomfortabel opklapbed. Wifi op de kamer deed het herhaaldelijk niet, maar wel goede en snelle technische service.

Die sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage liegt direkt am traumhaften Playa del Duque – eine perfekte Lage für entspannte Strandtage. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön gestaltet und bietet mehrere Pools sowie beeindruckende Infinity-Pools mit herrlichem Meerblick. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der exklusive Bereich für Gold-Kunden, der eine angenehm ruhige Atmosphäre bietet – ideal für alle, die Entspannung auf höchstem Niveau suchen. Auch kulinarisch bleiben keine Wünsche offen: Die Restaurants sind sehr schön gestaltet und die Qualität der Speisen überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Das Buffet ist abwechslungsreich, hochwertig und lässt wirklich keine Wünsche übrig.

This hotel on the face of it looks very grand. The rooms lack privacy, a bath in the middle of the room is OK if for 2, but not ideal if you have 12 year old male twins .. Our room was supposed to have a side sea view, which was not possible, annoying when you pay extra for it… No sun at all from morning to night, which made drying costumes impossible.. Your experience with this hotel will depend very much on the room situation . The GF Victoria is by far a better all round experience. Also the salt water pools not exactly kid friendly..

The venue location is absolutely prime. Our room was big and had a great in-room jacuzzi. The bed was one of the most comfortable in my (many) hotel stays. Food (breakfast and dinners) at the hotel were top shelf. And the staff were excellent, even remembering details about us during the stay. The pool area is great and the water is clean (and is salt water!). We made use of the tennis court which was really fun. Oh and the gym is big and modern. It could compete with many smaller full-time gyms. We really loved the ability to swim, play tennis, hit the gym, and enjoy great meals.

The TV wasn't working but this was a temporary issue with the router. A bluetooth speaker in the room would be a nice addition for music, especially in the larger rooms. The bathroom has one flimsy, glass, half door. The rooftop bar was surprisingly mellow, even on a weekend night during a Havana Nights theme. BUT - all of these are minor comments. Overall, this was a really great stay.

My family and I stayed at the GT in Feb 2026. Last year we stayed next door at Bahia Del Duque which was beautiful but the pools were freezing so we thought we’d try somewhere new. We opted for a Gold Level Swim Up Pool Family Room which was on the ground floor right by the main buffet restaurant and main pool. Arrival - lots of staff to help. Friendly. Room was ready early. Room- super clean and plenty of space for the four of us. Large bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom is within the room which is quirky but unnecessary. The toilet is thankfully separate and private. The terrace was cute and the swim up pool was lovely but the people in the next room did keep swimming in our bit which was a little annoying but fine. Also to note the pools in these rooms are in the shade for the majority of the day. Pools- brilliant. The kids loved them and much warmer than the ones next door at BDD Food- we ate in the buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed both although I think we’d probably get a little bored after more than a couple of days. The staff were all exceptional. Super friendly and chilled. We loved the grilled meats and the kids loved the freshly cooked pasta and sushi. Location- perfectly located in the heart of Playa Del Duque. It’s such a great spot. You can walk along the promenade or beach. We love this location. And the hotel is above a little shopping centre where there is a really nice little supermarket where you can get great food and wines. Entertainment - there was loads of stuff for the kids but ours didn’t bother. They just wanted to splash in the pool and play. CONS There are only a couple of things which were a little frustrating but worth mentioning. The location of our room proved to be quite noisy due to the proximity to the restaurant so there was a lot of banging and crashing. The service around the pool was also a tad slower than you’d want at a 5 star resort. It’s also pretty expensive but most of Costa Adeje is. We would definitely return though. The location is perfect and the staff really did make us feel happy and relaxed x

Currently staying at the gran tacande on night 5/7 and we have been highly disappointed to say the least. We read countless fabulous reviews which made us choose this hotel over the GF victoria, however we will definitely not be back. The reception on arrival was impressive, & lobby area beautiful, smells lovely too! We were able to use a very basic courtesy room while we waited for our room to be available. Our allocated room (111) was really nothing special at all. We have no idea why a bath sits in the middle of the room, other than to trip over through the night. The room also smelled lovely. The beds were very comfy & bedding decent, but only changed once. Coffee & Nespresso machine great, but kept supplying decaf ( despite note ). We had one large / one small towel each, no extra bedding/blanket & the heating did not work. Toiletries were not replaced, and sink area not cleaned well. The toilet seat was loose, the tiles need grouted, & the cistern very problematic. I left a note asking for razors & conditioner, but ignored. When Icalled again , these were sent up an hour after my shower. Plants around the hotel appear to be uncared for, and the ground around our sunloungers was dirty with two dead cockroaches lying next to us. There is a back exit from the hotel which is very handy, but these stone steps are littered with cigarette doubts. Breakfast was good, excellent choice, but on at least 2x mornings I waited over 30 mins for some coffee. Most disappointing was seeing how very friendly and attentive staff were to customers they clearly know. This is lovely, but perhaps not the best to keep new guests . Perhaps the worst part of our stay was being unale to sleep due to our neighbours extremely loud snoring, which he did from his room and balcony, moving between the two all night . The hotel spa is lovely and worth paying 17 euros to use the thermal suite. The hotel overall is grand & pretty, but simply does NOT merit 5 stars due to lots of missing attention to detail , another ( one toilet roll with 3/4 roll, we will need to ration until morning). None of these issues are the end of the world, but combined they are a very poor reflection of what cost £2600 for 7x nights !

Large imposing hotel in a prime location. Attractive outside areas with plenty of loungers and large swimming pools. Room/suite nicely furnished with large balcony/jacuzzi.

Bathroom would have benefitted from towel rails to hang bath towels and hooks to hang bathrobe. Food buffets (breakfast and dinner) very often ran out of individual dishes and were not quickly replaced.

We just can back from 9 days and stayed in room 458, a family with kids 9 and 10 years. This was our 3rd time and incidentally, our second time in that exact room. 458 and nearby rooms have unique views of La Gomera and the sunset, unmatched in other hotels we have stayed at in Tenerife. We had the Gold Level access which I highly recommend. Staff amazing, food and service outstanding We will definately return for the forth time.

Second visit, this hotel is exceptional and we will definitely be back. One thing though, the pool jacuzzi area was everyday like a children's pool with balls, inflatables etc ... wondered if this coukd be monitored by the lifeguard on duty ?

Had the most amazing 4 night stay. Exceptional service from the moment we checked in, til even after we checked out. Our room was fantastic, room 257, bed was super comfy, 3 choices of pillows, spacious room, jacuzzi on the balcony was great. We relaxed in it one night after dinner, and for a few hours another day. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Lots of choice, loads of healthy options. Would highly recommend going Half Board, the evening buffet was amazing. Live food cooking stations with choices of steak cooked to your liking, other meats and 3 choices of fish, as well as everything else you would want, with loads of healthy choices. The service from all the staff, at meal times, pool bars, reception etc, was exceptional. The staff made us feel extremely welcome. The rooftop bar where you can watch the sunset was also fantastic. We went there every evening before dinner to watch the sunset. It was magical. The whole hotel is amazing, and we had such a relaxing holiday. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday. Already making plans to return with our teen kids, think they would love it also.

My partner and I are staying here again after visiting several times before. We always choose the breakfast option because it’s simply too good to miss. I’ve also had lunch at the hotel many times, and the Caesar salad is the best in Tenerife — and I’ve tried many! Everyone who works here is so pleasant, and I love that most of the staff are the same familiar faces. Of course, there are a few new ones we haven’t seen before, but that’s life. The main reasons we keep booking this hotel are: 1. The rooms and how well they are cleaned. 2. The fantastic location. 3. The staff and housekeeping — always 10/10. We’ll be booking our next stay tomorrow at the airport! Thank you everyone for amazing stay!!! ❤️

We have been going to the gran tacande for about 15years just love it. The food this year was very good wide choice all excellent quality. Always well looked after by all the staff. Thank you to Christina and all the staff for a great stay . Already booked for next January

Our second visit in 2 years and the experience still first class. Location with direct entry to beach promenade Booked a seaview room which had very comfortable bed and a large balcony. Coffee machine and fridge and ample storage. Thorough daily cleaning and nightly turn down service to Johnny in the restaurant and Andi in the bars.Excellent breakfast with large area for sitting outside. The evening dinner/buffet we had 3 times and this year is even better and good value at 40 euros per person, with first class meat and fish cooked to order.The sunset bar has stunning views and music most evenings. Entertainment every evening in main bar too. However, what makes this hotel so special is the quality of the staff, in terms of both service and friendliness. Special mention to Johnny in the restaurant , morning and evening, and Andi in the bars.

Very friendly staff and great facilities. The location was good, close to the beach and restaurants and about 25 mins from the airport by taxi. We had gold membership which gave us access to a small bar on a terrace with a small pool. Plenty of sunbeds and daybeds. There was free draft beer, cava and water. Also free are crisps, nuts a few sandwiches and cakes. Any other drinks are charged and you can order pizzas etc and pay if you wish. We had a voucher for a glass of moet each at the sunset bar which was certainly worth doing. We were also given a complimentary buffet dinner voucher. Again excellent....they had a steak chef and Chinese chef on duty plus lots of excellent options. I can recommend sitting outside for that as it's a lovely atmosphere. We liked it so much that we went again Its 40 Euros per head which we thought was more than fair. Breakfast was again very good as you'd expect. We were initially in a "swim up" room (327). Lovely room and the pool was nicely heated. It was very narrow and ran across patios of around 6 rooms. Just about wide enough to swim along but no more. After encountering cockroaches on nights 2 and 3 we were switched to room 355 which had a terrace instead of a swim up (and was a little more expensive) at no extra charge. We again saw a couple of the critters but at least they were smaller this time! The hotel does what they can but it’s obviously difficult for them given the location and climate. We played tennis with the hotel rackets and balls. It's 10 Euros a time which we didn't realise until checkout. Check your final bill as we had to get the free night at the buffet dinner removed. Our overriding impression as we left was of a lovely, if pricey, hotel where the staff make every effort to ensure you have a great time.

This review is for BOCOY restaurant not for the Gran Tacande itself, I will review the hotel on a separate listing after our stay has finished. BOCOY is one of the restaurants run by the hotel, strangely not advertised very well though, we came across it on the recommendation from Mansour in guest relations desk. BOCOY is open in the evening only, the hotel closes the pool restaurant and transforms it into a gastronomic experience run by Douglas, who I have to say makes the restaurant run to perfection, Douglas recommended a one of the nicest red wines (prefer a good red even though we ate mainly fish) we have tasted for a long time (Petolis) Our food comprised of - Char grilled Scallops for a starter followed by flame grilled squid for myself and for my wife Ox tail meatballs in a teriyaki sauce, followed by a hot chocolate mouse over a crispy ice-cream. Don’t expect large portions but what you do have is a fantastic dining experience to remember. This was one of those meals that will stand out as one of the tastiest for a long time & one to remember with all the food cooked to perfection. The only drawback was the fact you can tell the restaurant has the appearance it has been transformed from a daytime pool restaurant into a tremendous dining experience all backed up by a subtle guitarist.

Hotel au top, literie incroyable, personnel au top....petit déjeuné avec une grande variétés de produits et du jus d'orange frais....et ramon Ibérique à volonté...le Rooftop avec une vue magnifique.....et le spectacle Tribute to sauf petit bémol, en Janvier, la température de la piscine pas assez chaude pour les adultes, sauf la piscine spa à jets, qui était à la bonne température... je recommande tout de même pour ceux qui y vont plus tard vers le mois de Mars...
