The property is a bit older than expected. The bed was not comfortable The drain in the bathroom was slow. The AC was not very cool. The breakfast was not as expected. Ran out of baked beans, scrambled eggs and cold drinking water. Not a good variety like other Holiday Inns i have been to.

The location was perfect for us as we were watching a show at the Lowry. Parking was reasonable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good selection at breakfast.

The room was quite tight on space for a family of 4, more than 1 night would have been a struggle with bags etc. The sofa bed was ok for 2 small kids but wouldn't be big enough to accommodate older children.

Very good b reakfast, location, amenities like shampoo and body wash very good quality.

Sofa bed for kids was small for 2 and uncomfortable. The bathroom drain was very slow, leaving the shower area flooded.

The cooked side was diabolical cereal coffee pastry’s good… bacon hard like solid inedible yet the fat area not cooked enough the breakfast really let the hotel down it was a wicked stay the staff excellent just I’d rather pay extra £10 for either fresh cooked breakfast or better quality tomatoes dier scrabbled eggs my daughter couldn’t eat I think a lot of improvement needs to be done on that area seeming as it’s the last thing you do before leaving it makes u leave disappointed despite it being excellent everywhere els

This is the reason for the low score and is the reason i would not stay there again. The ANPR parkig operator ruined the experience completely. Why are these robbers allowed on properties such as this. Not worth the hassle fightig and dealing with these parking companies so if i see a hotel with them in their car park, i will avoid. Sadly this means no more stays af this hotel

Very friendly staff, it’s right on the waterfront at the quay and even though it was very busy it was VERY quiet I heard no noise from room other than the thunder storm we had while I was staying here

If you have a disability and mobility issues and rely on public transport like myself it is a bit of a walk from the tram stop and the pavements leading to it are uneaten and dangerous (I broke a wheel on my suitcase getting there). Breakfast wasn’t of high quality or standard. I know it’s “free” however there could be more of a selection of hot items, the hot buffet was being topped up when I was getting my breakfast one day and yet it still felt like it had been sat there for a long time, hard bacon, stale cardboard like hash browns luke warm scrambled egg and dry bland sausages. Oh and the orange juice was more like orange squash than juice

THE BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS OUTDATED AND POOR CONDITION - BED WAS ONLY A DOUBLE BED WHEN GOT TOLD KING SIZE. AIR CON DIDNT WOK PROPERLY AND BREAKFAST WAS WAY BELOW POOR - WOULD HAVE STAYED AT A PREMIER INN AS BETTER FOOD AND BETTER ROOMS.

Restaurant was so small and over crowded. It was like a cattle market. Carpets in the room were filthy.

Great location for Lowry theatre. Quiet room although some noisy guest neighbours in the early hours of the morning. Very friendly accommodating staff and handy to be able to leave luggage in secure store as we were too early for check in

Good location away from the city centre but only a short walk to the tram stop for the centre. Comfortable and quiet room, well priced accommodation and with on-site parking outside the entrance.

It was a nice hotel and nice staff

we went there for a night on our motorbike. we went out around 9:30 pm and came back to the hotel by midnight and our bike was stollen. It was stollen from their carpark whilst they had all the security cameras!!! Their camera screen was just next to the reception and no one realised that people were stealing our bike!! very disappointed!!! Not a safe place to stay!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Bed and pillows were really comfortable and the room had a decent side. Breakfast had a big variety of options and the self-service option was very intuitive and easy.

The hotel does not provide complimenty water bottles, instead there is a vending machines selling water bottles at £3/unit.

Convenient stay for a festival weekend. Very basic accommodation but you get what you pay for. Bed and bathroom seemed clean.

The staff were excellent - exemplary customer service all round.

Large family groups in multiple bedrooms, who appeared to spend much of the night banging on each other’s doors and demanding entry. This was no fault of the hotel, but possibly, family groups should be accommodated on certain floors.

Muy amplio el buffet de desayuno, el personal del hotel muy amable y presente 24hs. El hotel está en una zona de canales x lo que es vistoso y agradable para caminar, pasear. Tiene cerca parada de tram con la que fácilmente se llega al centro y hay buena combinación para el aeropuerto y otros puntos de interés. También hay supermercado, centro comercial .... y el Museo de la Guerra Mundial a 20 min caminando, con entrada gratis y muy recomendable, incluso con niños.

Location & room was excellent, very comfortable stay & central to where we needed to go. Lovely big bed & room very clean. View was nice, especially if your a Manchester United fan as stadium was in full view.

Check in staff were lovely & helpful. Bar staff need some training on drink making, even ones on their own cocktail menu. Bit lacking in personality also. Breakfast was chaos, no knives & doing laps of the buffet to try to get things - better system needed & maybe better equipped area. Staff were nice, helpful but also rushed off their feet from the chaos.

The location of the hotel is good . Excellent wifi. The staff are so amazing. The food is good. This place is home away from home and I recommend this hotel to anyone that wish to relax and have fun with family and friend. The environment is serene.

It is my husband’s birthday tomorrow and not only did they put balloons and have 2 bottles of prosecco in the room, we also got free drinks, free car park, an extension on our leaving time, they (Ellen) presented him with a lovely birthday cake.

The only downside was the positioning of the tv, it was quite hard to watch when have someone else in the bed, especially if they were lying on their side.

The location is amazing with breathtaking views of the quay, the staff were friendly and supportive

The cooling system in the room was not working. We tried to contact them for repair but instead we were given two fans, especially in the heat waves it was so hard and stuffy, the hotel staff were at least friendly to give us drink vouchers to compensate for the inconvenience The sofa bed was not made and no linen or pillows were provided. Again we had someone come in to do this for us , there were just two towels for four people , I understand that it's a budget hotel but it's not like we are staying for free, we just want the promised amenities to be provided Was dissatisfied.

Your beds weren't great for relaxing but overall everything was great

Not much to be honest. Rather nasty high rise that has been tarted up to try and create a backpacker vibe.

Although we paid extra for a so called deluxe room it was tiny, probably the smallest hotel room we have even been in. Luckily we did not have a cat that needed swinging. Also had to give a £150 deposit when checking in.

I interacted with at least 8 members of staff, they were all amazing (apart from 1 misery) Location is brilliant, felt very safe. Parking was easy and good price for hotel guests. Bed was comfy, bathroom was spotless.

The room was very very run down, the carpets looked very old and ruined, hadn’t been dusted properly. The couch to sit on looked filthy so I didn’t bother using it, such a shame

Breakfast was really busy on the Sunday morning. There was a long wait for a table, we went down about 8.45am and there were already lots of people waiting in reception. We were in a bit of a rush so ended up checking out and going elsewhere for breakfast. A bit annoying as we had paid extra to have it included. Otherwise the hotel was adequate.
