The room was clean and comfortable. The location was within walking distance of our destination

The parking. I was blocked in on leaving the hotel as cars just parked anywhere and not in bays.

Perfect location to Salford Quay just what we were looking for

First night had a brilliant sleep but the last two nights were woken up with bin Lorry’s, pound bangs, other guests playing loud music at 1am and people constantly letting their room door slam

The staff excellent especially Dhruv on the front desk was very helpful patient and understanding.. Help us with directions to the venue etc ...public transport timing of the bus services and advice on the tram. ..Thank you you made our stay so comfortable I would come back again and stay at your beautiful clean hotel

Got put in the wrong room at first then the second room the towels were dirty. If you open window it’s very noisy by road.

Sleep quality very poor. We were on the 1st floor overlooking the car park. Room 118. Beneath us was a door slamming, very very loudly, it made us jump and the room shake. This continued into the early hours of the morning. Not an internal door but one to the outside car park. We had an early start after very little sleep.

The breakfast was quite good. Matchstick Mam across the road for dinner, great value for money.

The Dinner was not up to scratch to the point that we did consider McDonalds for the next evening meal. Tv didn't work the first night and after 4 attempts it was fixed the following afternoon. There were no room instructions as you get in most 4 and 5 star hotels.

We loved our stay we loved everything the staff was absolutely brilliant as we had trouble with the TV in our room and had a little wait for a travel cot and they offered us a free breakfast due to the inconveniences of the TV.

Coffee was hidden in the wardrobe, couldn't find it on the first day and thought there was no coffee in the room. Minor thing.

There is a £50 refundable charge that isn't made clear when booking. The manager i spoke to was rude, abrasive and frankly a jumped up little moron when I refused to pay it. He then proceeded to try and chat to my 12 year old daughter about what our plans were whilst staying there. Thankfully she's no idiot and told him where to go.

The LIFT was a major issue during my stay. My friend and I had to walk down the stairs for the majority of our stay, which became very frustrating, especially as we were staying on the 7th floor. This was the only issue I had with my stay. I would recommend replacing or repairing the lifts, as having only one working while the other had signs indicating it was about to break down is concerning. Consideration should also be given to guests with disabilities or mobility needs.

I can’t remember the name unfortunately but the lady that checked me in was so lovely and helpful so thank you ! The room was nice and comfortable - I’ve stayed in a few hotels the past week for work and AC has by far the been my favourite. I will definitely be planning to book again next time I’m in Manchester

I am a Marriott member and have stayed in other AC Marriott hotels even the other location in Manchester. The room was really small and the bathroom was not good. I think it was a disability room they gave as it had facilities for disabled people although not sure how someone with disabilities would even manage with that little space!! The room wasn’t clean and not enough towels in the toilet. The bathroom itself was a disabled one and it didn’t live up to the standard of the other AC Hotels I’ve stayed at just a disaster. Very unhappy. Wouldn’t recommend will actually be advising against staying at this location. Plus having to pay to park in the hotel car park was a downside.

We were on the 6th floor and one lift was not operating which meant long waits.

Full English breakfast was very dry on all 3 morning, there was on site EV charging as they have got rid of it. There was also only one lift working so took an eternity to arrive and when your on the 7th floor the stairs wasnt a great option.

Location was good, easy parking, staff friendly and helpful. Not too expensive.

Only 2 check in desks, so quite a long wait to check-in. Only one lift working, which was also being used by cleaning staff for moving bedding trolley up and down so no room for guests. Bedroom was spacious, but small double bed with very soft mattress so every time either my husband or I turned over, the whole bed shook. Cooked breakfast was bland and uninspiring.

The free car park. The location was great for what we wanted to visit.

Having booked a Superior Room, we were disappointed to be allocated a room overlooking a car park at the back of the hotel. When we asked to change, we were given one at the front with a view. Why try to fob guests off with an inferior room, if a better one is available? Very minimal toiletries, no tissues or body lotion. The room was quite small for a Superior Room. The food wasn't good, e.g. hot breakfast kept warm and dried up.

We had a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel Salford Quays and would definitely stay here again! The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the location is fantastic — especially if you’re visiting Old Trafford, which is just a short distance away. We booked half board, and both the breakfast and dinner were delicious. The only slight hiccup was on our first night, when we were given one £25 dinner voucher for two people, which was a little confusing as we had booked half board. Thankfully, this was a minor issue and didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent stay. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special mention must go to Tas in the bar/AC Lounge, who was absolutely lovely and went out of her way to assist us. Her friendly and helpful attitude really made an impression. We also really appreciated the thoughtful gesture from the chef on the morning we checked out. As we had an early departure, the chef prepared a delicious breakfast to take with us — a ham and cheese sandwich, croissant, yoghurt and fruit. It was fresh, generous and absolutely delicious! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend the AC Hotel Salford Quays. We will definitely be back! ❤️

I payed for a normal room which I and confirmation of but when I got there I was rather put in an accessible/disable room, even though I am not disabled and it did not have a bath. I asked for my room to be changed but apparently there were no more rooms and no one was trying to help me resolve the issue which isn’t good customer service

The entire hotel staff is cheerful and inviting. In the dining room, they reserved tables for us to watch futball World Cup where the atmosphere was exciting and the service by Taslima and the other Taslima was outstanding. Thank you for the fond memories.

The weather on the day we stayed at this hotel was around 30 degrees and our room had been bathed in sunlight all day, so it was extremely hot when we arrived. We couldn't figure out how to use the air cooling system and my daughter went down to reception to ask for instructions.  She dealt with a member of the reception team, Keerthana, who was an absolute delight. After accompanying my daughter back to our room to show us how to use the air cooling system, she very kindly offered to send a fan up to the room for us.  From first meeting Keerthama when she checked us in on arrival, she was polite, courteous, warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. Keerthama is an excellent ambassador for this hotel and she made our stay even more pleasant.  The breakfast was very nice with a great selection of items to choose from and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, some of the best treatment I've had from hotel staff ever. The Hotel should be very proud of its staff. The room was clean spacious and well appointed, we ate a latelunch/early diner at the resteraunt and also had breakfast on two mornings, all was tasty and good quality (but the hot food at breakfast was luke warm at best)

My only complaint would be that the air conditioning appeared not to work at all (which considering we were in a heat wave was unfortunate) We stayed for two nights and I mentioned it on the first morning to reception who said they would get the maintainece team to look, but it was in the same condition for the second night.

So many things were wrong... The 2nd lift (of only 2) didn't work for the 4 days we were there and it often meant walking up and down 7 floors of stairs, especially during busy times. (There was a sign saying it was being repaired, but nothing changed during our stay) The hotel is also advertised as having air conditioning, which I specifically booked due to the heat waves, and it didn't work at all and it's very dated... When I reported it to the front desk, they said maintenance went to look and it was working correctly as an 'air cooler'... I questioned this and was told it was always that way... But it was literally boiling every night and so uncomfortable, that we hardly slept. Additionally the hairdryer was not working, and whilst they replaced it after reporting it, it's such a simple thing to check when preparing a room for a guest. Also I paid for parking, but there are very limited spaces and they overbooked the spaces, so I ended up having to park in a disabled bay, which the front desk suggested... Lastly the food is awful and bland. We ended up eating anywhere else but there, even though we had already paid for it. Even the coffee was horrible.... I would recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs... I will not be returning.

Facilities were good, had a view of Old Trafford slightly from my window, information was clear about the hotel and what’s required of us as guests. I would return.

An amazing weekend in this hotel for my partners birthday. The hotel staff are so lovely the food is amazing and everything is so well kept and clean. Taslima was serving us the night before we were leaving and she was so lovely an absolute credit to the hotel always making sure we had everything we needed, so attentive! Will 100% be back here after such a great weekend! Thank you so much.

Not bad again all. Lovely hotel. Only snag, we booked 2 queen bed double rooms and were given one as a twin. Also quite a lot of noise from other guests returning to their rooms at night but as it was a saturday night, suppose can be expected. Didn't eat at the hotel but had drinks which were quite expensive. Nice clean rooms.

Room was very well appointed, had a meal and wine in the restaurant which was ideal and perfectly delicious. Gym was well appointed too and had everything I needed for a strength and cardio workout. Yasmin’s in particular provided excellent waiting service
