Owen and Richard were just amazing , Nothing was too much trouble and they are a credit to the venue. Nothing short of exceptional service. Both had great empathy with the guests and knew many on first name terms which is always nice , from a guest perspective. It shows they make the time to know people Keren has a lovely smile and it was nice to see one first thing in the morning

My room overlooked the busy road and I sleep with my window open but its a small niggle , nothing major

The breakfast was horrible. It would have been better to have fried eggs instead of the tasteless and bland egg omelette. Would be nice to have cheese, smoked salmon, bananas, croissants.

Everything friendly staff and the rooms were kept spotless the breakfast in the mornings was a good selection off cooked and all your cereals fruits and toast.

Booked this for my parents they where highly delighted with it.

I was here for my wedding, and the guys on the bar/reception in the evening were so lovely. The team leader made me feel so welcome and excited for the wedding, I felt we got a very personal service. It was also really nice to be able to have the dog with us.

The location and the electric car charge facility

The cost for a dog for one night at £30 was outrageous. Even though I had a canine he’s a hypoallergenic dog and doesn’t smell of dog, yet my room very much smelt of dog.

The Room was a little small and the sofa bed wasn't really a good idea for 2 little ones. Myself and my husband were too big to the sofa bed so we couldn't do a child in each bed.

Personal al momento del desayuno trabajan como enojados, molestos , no responden el saludo ni las gracias. Falta más orden y espacio para cubrir el desayuno. pocas mesas. Las sofá camas son demasiadas incómodas, aunque sea para un niño los resortes y fierros se sienten al dormir. En la habitación falta un frigobar o algo para mantener frío algunas cosas

Room was very clean, iron and board in the room, hair dryer in the room. Rooms cleaned daily if you wish to.

Room was clean and comfortable. Communication with the hotel was good as I was delayed flying back to Bristol and concerned about checking in very late. Breakfast was plentiful, tables were clean. Plenty of parking and felt safe.

We are used to a wider bed so the standard 4 ft 6in bed felt cramped. Grass area outside reception covered in cigarette butts detracting from the appearance. .

Such helpful friendly staff - really made a difference! Bedroom spacious for two sharing and beds really comfortable.

Will need to double check that car is registered for free parking, otherwise a nasty surprise in the post a week or so later for a £100 Fine from ANP CAMERA COMPANY. Just ring the hotel for them to have this notification to be cancelled, so no horrific FINE If this happens phone the hotel

Not much its only the toilet door we had seems not finish yet. No door frame cover inside so when you close the door while you’re inside they will see you while sat on the toilet.

Lovely welcoming staff. Clear house procedures in respect of my dog. Lovely size room, beautifully furnished with a great shower and fluffy towels, and loved the treat bag left for the dog. Absolutely delicious breakfast and plentiful

Nothing negative to report about this hotel

The hotel was the perfect location for us and the Dragonfly pub next door was also excellent for food. Check in was easy and straightforward and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were a team of players who had to be up and out early so they did breakfast early for us. The breakfast was fresh and tasty with plenty of variety. The rooms were clean and refreshed daily.

Finestra che non si poteva quasi aprire (motivi di sicurezza), odore della camera di chiuso, moquette polverosa. Letti alla francese (non larghi quindi). Colazione media, qualche cornetto, dei muffin, sennò colazione inglese, unico pane quello da tostare, marmellate, frutti di bosco, yoghurt, caffè e succo di frutta. Vabbè che faceva molto caldo, ma la temperatura della sala da colazione era impostata su 17 gradi...

Clean, comfortable, good-sized room. Very quiet. Room was very warm in spite of the AC. Receptionist supplied us with a fan, so problem quickly resolved. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Location was good and close access to Motorway. Newport was also ideal as it made it possible to visit mutliple places (towns and cities alike) within a short drive on the Motorway from Newport

The hot breakfast was good and accomodating for muslims aswell by serving vegan sausages on upon request but but could have been better.

We booked an accessible room & the space was ideal in the bedroom & the shower facility.

The room was excellent. It had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent too.

The only issue was the air conditioning in the breakfast area was too cold which made it very uncomfortable. I expect this was because of the exceptional hot weather at the time, but it did not need to be as cold.

My daughter had a separate room for her, her partner and their two children 4 & 2. Their room had a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was a poor substitute for a standard bed. It was used by the children but I laid on it and found it it to be most uncomfortable. Also, my daughter requested child bed guards but the hotel doesn’t provide.

The staff were so accommodating and welcoming, had all the facilities you could need and the air con in this heat wave was amazing, made me not want to leave my room. Everywhere was clean.

Just two little minor things there was no fridge in the room and breakfast & dinner didn’t have any halal options, so had to stick to vegetarian.

Check in lady polite and warm welcome. Room was nice and cool and clean. Sofa bed made up as asked for my son. Breakfast very tasty.

Coffee machine in restaurant I think may have been out of milk as my cappuccino was just espresso and another customer couldn’t get a latte. I should’ve said something but my son was keen to get going. Was really looking forward to that post breakfast coffee.

Our room - wet patch on the carpet under the mirror. The lighting was appalling - room was incredibly dark. Stains/ drips down the wall under the aircon unit. Looked like it had been leaking for some time and not cleaned. The bed was ridiculously small.

Firstly, we were looking for any hotel nearby that had air conditioning, because heat wave (red alert). We we very happy with room, staff and the hot breakfast.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming, in my opinion. Not exceptional as per other reviews, in particular the fruit juices tasted like very weak squash. Some more fresh fruit would have also been welcomed. Cooked items were good however.
