Was a bit hard to find entrance but parking behind the building was not a problem. Parking fee was unexpected but lucky for us it was not more than 5GPB. Bed was a bit worn

The second single bed in the family room was a pull-out between the normal single and the double, and you might have thought you were sleeping on the floor with how firm it was in comparison to the other two.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026I was assigned the first room (accessible) which I thought might be noisy with doors banging and people at reception. Not so. The shower was strong which I loved. Good view of the car. Plenty of channels on the tv. Well provided with towels, tea and coffee. Just right.

The only thing I was not so fond of is that the hotel is located on a service station so for me visiting family, the location could be better but it is ok as not too far away and for anyone needing a stay travelling on the M6 then its perfect....

Reviewed Jul 29, 2026Fantastic customer service from Sharon. My son had a family emergency and had to leave without his stuff in the early hours of this morning. When I phoned Sharon to gather his stuff and provide to a courier to deliver to Scotland nothing was too much hassle for her, she even went out of her way to phone me to tell me the courier had collected my sons stuff and she had them sign for it. Absolutely above and beyond for customers. His stay was also really good and the gentleman on the desk on monday night also assisted me with someone knocking on his door in the early hours and freaking him out. Fantastic team!

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The fan in my room was not working. When I approached the receptionist, she initially said no fans were available, despite the outside temperature being 32 degrees. I noticed she was using both air conditioning and a fan at the desk. She explained that the fan belonged to her supervisor, even though it had a hotel sticker. When I mentioned I might look for another hotel, she arranged to replace our fan. I recommend that hotel management train staff to be more welcoming and approachable.
The staff did not smile, which made me feel unwelcome.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026We chose this hotel because of its location and the price. We booked an overnight stay as we were attending an event nearby. Check in was smooth and the receptionist was very pleasant. The room was basic as expected but very clean. The bathroom smelt fresh and there was a walk in shower. There was a fan in the room which we used as it was quite warm. Being at a motorway services we thought it may be noisy but it was surprisingly quiet (we were staying on a Saturday night). We had our evening meal in the services. We purchased some fruit and yoghurt from the onsite Waitrose in the morning, for our breakfast. We would definitely return to this hotel again if we needed an overnight stop again.

It's a shame that is costs an extra 5 pounds to park the car on arrival eventhough there is a lot of parking available. If the hotel needs this, then I would prefer it to be hidden in the booking cost, not extra.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Great overnight, easy friendly check in. I was on the ground floor overlooking the carpark but the hotel was so quiet I could’ve been in the middle of the countryside. Despite being in the ground floor I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Good bed, good duvet, good pillows, good nights sleep. As someone else said, try and stock up on supplies before you get there, £3.15 for a big bottle of water at the services!
