The staff was very friendly, the location was perfect for us arriving from Vancouver and before going to Hornby Island. Our kids loved the pool!

Loved everything! Pleasantly surprised! We had a room facing the road but it was so quiet! The breakfast was a great bonus. Close to everything and we could walk to a few pubs/restaurants. Beds comfy and staff was so friendly!

The beds were confortable and clean. The water slide for kids was a big hit. The breakfast was decent, maybe more variety from one day to another will work better.

There was a bad smell at the beginning and I guess this is because the window opening is too small to be able to let the outside air to come through and refresh the room.

There could be better options included in the breakfast, like scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. And the dining space is small for the number of guests using the breakfast hall in the morning. Pancake machine was loved and used by kids.

The room's tables, chairs and sofas, and furnitures had a lot of dust, the bathtub and shower area gives an old feeling. The bathroom space is good, but would prefer to see cleanliness on the floors in the bedroom and the bathroom areas.

The bed and linen are very comfortable! Children adore the pool and slide, I love the spa ! Breakfast is wonderful, especially the pancakes

The location on a main road was t very charming, but it didn’t make a difference once you were inside.

Part of my family had stayed here before. The experience was good then so for this trip, we booked a hotel again. Our experience with thishotel was nothing less than spectacular. The hotel itself is in good shape, the room was clean, etc. Our daughter had dropped a necklace down the sink. When we asked reception, there is zero hesitation and while we had breakfast she had the maintenance guy go up, remove the trap, retrieve the necklace, and put the trap back. The staff were extremely friendly, and really seemed to get customer service. In this day and age, you don’t see customer service that much, in North America, so this was a real treat for such a local smaller hotel. Great job to management and staff, and truly one of best experiences in a long time locally.

What a fantastic Hotel. Stayed one night but would definitely come back. The superb front desk staff at check- in set the tone for what would be a great stay. Comfy bed, clean and a fantastic breakfast.

Unser Zimmer lag genau hinter den beiden Aufzügen. Leider deshalb ärgerliche Hintergeräusche. Leider zu wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten beim Essen.

You're front desk clerk with the hat and mustache was exceptional, the best I have ever met.

The room was clean and spacious with all the amenities. Housekeeping was available each day of our stay. The breakfast was good, with a variety of hot options to choose from, including rotating styles of eggs (scrambled, mini omelet, etc).

There were a lot of families with young children, and it was a bit noisy at times. Because of this and the fact that the pool area is small, my mom (who I traveled with) and I did not go to the pool.

Clearly a ’stopover’ hotel - if this is expected then you will not be too disappointed. In our case a stopover before the morning ferry.

Room a needs a little work and is quite dated. Breakfast room is way too small for hotel and choices are very very basic. Noisy minbar fridge in room (like many hotels in Canada).

Big clean room. Coffee and tea available...free.

Rapport qualité-prix correct, emplacement pratique a proximité centre et commerce, proche piste cyclable aussi. Propreté ok, literie bonne, chambre assez spacieuse. Personnel très accueillant, souriant, aidant. Petit déjeuner plutôt au dessus de la moyenne.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. We were on the ground floor front and thought it would be loud with traffic, but it was quiet and close to everything. It was great!

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war groß, das WLAN gut und es gab Kabelfernsehen. Das Frühstück war toll und der Kaffe gut. Es war alles sehr sauber. Das Hotel hat auch Waschmaschinen und Trockner, so dass man gut seine Wäsche dort waschen kann. Die Lage war ebenfalls gut und es gab natürlich ausreichend Parkplätze.

Breakfast was fine. Good variety and appreciated having fresh fruit included. The toaster may need fixing as it only toasted one side, had to run it thru a second time.

Check in was difficult. Needed a credit card, not a visa debit, which made it difficult when we arrived. Didn't allow for us to give cash deposit instead.

Fridge in the room didn’t work. Hot bath had minimal air flow, not spa, just warm shallow bath. Breakfast was not replaced quick enough, many items missing at 8:30 am. Staff in the breakfast room not friendly. Minimal equipment in the gym. Towels not changed during cleaning of the room.

Breakfast was better than many other hotels that offer free breakfast. The King bed and pillows were very comfortable. I like having a window that opens but traffic noise was loud so I would choose the riverside rooms (they don't offer King beds unfortunately on that side) but it would be quieter.

We stayed here for two nights while we visited Mount Washington. The pool, waterslide and hot tub were great!

The location was good, the service too. The biggest problem was the breakfast. The eggs were tasteless. What would have helped would be to have fruit prepared differently, for instance in a fruit cup.

It is very modern and comfortable, I come almost every weekend and it’s always just as comfortable as last time. The staff are very friendly and will show you around, and you can go and get hot drinks any time for free

A family friendly hotel with exceptional staff who mostly wore friendly smiles with excellent service all-round. The guy with the hat, I believe Holme stood out for us.
