The location is great, easy to find, and right opposite a car park—which is very convenient, though a bit pricey. The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything needed for a comfortable one-night stay. It is clear the host truly cares about their guests' comfort.

The stay was comfortable, but a few minor adjustments would greatly improve the guest experience. While the bed was comfy, it was a bit noisy when moving around. For the welcome pack, the coffee tasted a little stale; adding a small biscuit or treat would be a lovely touch. Finally, receiving the check-in instructions a day in advance would be much better than getting them on the day of arrival, as traveling can be quite rushed and stressful.

Good location. Comfy bed. Every inch has been decorated. Shower room was modern and looked nice.

Bedroom we stayed in was really small and suffocating, no fan supplied either. Wall plugs are dodgy . Bathroom was like a sauna after a shower. We could hear a person in the room upstairs from us snoring loudly. We had booked two rooms, one was upstairs- the orher on ground floor. In order to move from one room to the other we had to go out the front door around outside of the property and in through the back door as the owner had locked all the communal rooms and passage way in the house which felt very strange. Owner is intense.As there is a photo of the kitchen in the pics on booking.com we had assumed that this could be used during the stay- it wasnt. When I asked if it could be used she became very defensive stating that we would usually pay £1000 for two rooms with the use of a kitchen! Her response was not warranted as the question was only asked due to false advertisement. We were warned several times to put the chain back on the back gate. All in all it made the experience quite tense and not relaxing at all. Two cars were parked in thw court yard which is where the outside seating area is placed therefore not usable when we were getting ready to go out.

Beautiful little guest house. Exceptional friendly lady running it. Lovely room on the ground floor. Very quiet. Pretty little courtyard garden which was nice at night for a cheeky glass of wine. Although no breakfast that wasn't a problem as we only stayed one night and found a great cafe nearby. And the 2 dogs were so cute I would go back there in a heart beat

La posizione è eccellente: vicino alla stazione dei bus, a 10 minuti da quella dei treni e vicinissima al centro storico. La stanza è pulita e minimal, c'è tutto il necessario.

La modalità di accesso automatizzata ma non immediata (istruzioni laboriose via messaggio per ogni cosa - accesso alla camera, al giardino). In caso di problemi non c'è nessuno in struttura (anche se c'è da dire che la risposta via messaggio è quasi immediata).

L'emplacement à 2 minutes à pied de la vieille ville. La maison ancienne avec beaucoup de cachet. On m'a aidé à monter ma valise dans ma chambre. La chambre et la salle de bain ont très bien été rénovées, petites mais avec tout ce qu'il faut. L'hôte très disponible par WhatsApp si nécessaire. La chambre est rangée et nettoyée chaque jour, je ne m'y attendais pas.

La terrasse présentée sur l'annonce n'est pas très engageante en réalité. Elle sert de parking et de place pour sécher le linge. La vieille ville n'est cependant pas loin et il y a là-bas plein d'endroits charmants. La chambre sent le parfum. J'ai laissé la fenêtre ouverte en permanence. L'écoulement de la douche était un peu lent, probablement bouché. La route à côté est assez bruyante, mais avec des boules quies j'ai très bien dormi.

That when we went in room a bag was covered on the smoke alarm didn't think nothing of it, but when we got back to room it wasn't on it. And think the owners thought we had done it cause got a message to say don't vape or smoke. We don't break rules set in place also to think someone had entered our room we wasn't happy.

A good location, not too far from the city centre and in close proximity to a whetherpoons for a cheap and cheerful meal or breakfast. The room was relatively spacious and very comfortable. The host was really friendly and offered up recommendations were we to need them.

Check in and check out weren’t particularly smooth and you almost had to prearrange when you wanted to check in and out rather than just being able to arrive and leave when it suits. Could benefit from some cosmetic work such as replacing marked silicon and tight doors if it wants to be considered a ‘luxury’ bed and breakfast. Breakfast wasn’t included or offered at check in although there is a menu tucked away near the main door. Good bed for a night or two but certainly not a breakfast spot or the luxury that the sign would suggest.

The proximity to a major road meant noise and streetlights. Had a hard time sleeping.

The room was a bit small, but clean and originally decorated by the nice owner Claire, We appreciated the kettle, tea and coffee ready for us to make a nice cuppa. The location is not far from the city centre, the cathedral and the Roman ruins.

The bathroom was a bit tight, with erratic hot-water regulation in the shower, The nicely looking sitting area in the first front picture of the booking.com webpage was not open or at least was not introduced to us. The worst thing is the parking. Although parking is advertised on the booking.com webpage, you cannot park in front of the hotel, but you have to go to the parking house across the street, which is a bit far to carry your luggage then, and it is quite expensive for the overnight parking.

Toilet seat kept slipping badly so that it jolted me everytime I sat on it. I let them know the first day, I stayed 2 nights, they said they would take a look but I didn't hear back and it wasn't fixed. It was an easy fix, but needed a pair of pliers which I didn't have. Was a shame they didn't fix after I asked. Shower was a bit tight and electric - so not much power.

Beautiful decor and very clean. The staff were very helpful and gave clear instructions for my arrival. The room had everything I needed (kettle / coffee/ hair dryer), clean and fluffy towels. It was so close to everything in the centre of town so I could walk everywhere. The location and hotel felt very safe as a woman travelling alone.

It was such a warm summer night that I stayed so I needed to sleep with the window open but the noise from the outside road was very disturbing so I didn't sleep well. But that is nothing that the accommodation can do about, its not their fault.

Perfect location, The property was beautifully decorated with a lovely garden area to sit out.

Our room was a little cramped for 3 ladies sharing ( lots of clothes, makeup etc) but it was on the ground floor which was perfect for our elderly mother.

The location was good as it was close to shops and restaurants. It was clean except for the hose in the shower which was covered in mould.

The room was far too cramped with double and single beds in. Hardly anywhere to put clothes. Too many cushions on the beds and nowhere to put them when you want to sleep. Kettle could only be plugged in underneath the dresser table as the lead wasn't long enough to put it on the top. A lot of noise from the road. Shower room very small. I booked a ground floor room but was given one upstairs and charged £23 more than the original quote.

The room was lovely, we had room 1 which had a double & a single. Lovely set out & very comfortable.

An observation not a dislike, the bathroom is compact & there is no where to put any make up, brushes etc when in there. The only thing I didn't like is we were told last check out was 11am so we went out for breakfast and then went back to pick our bags up & we had been locked out of the room & had to call the owner for a different code to get back in. I think this needs looking at or explaining once you leave the room on departure day you cant get back in even if before check out time.

Mums reikėjo vietos nakvynei vienai nakčiai, šią funkciją kambarys atitiko. Kambario dekoras sudarė prabangos įspūdį - baldai, indai, paveikslai, nors tokiame mažame kambaryje jų galėjo būti mažiau.

Vienas kambarys su keturiomis lovomis - jis nebuvo erdvus, tiksliau, jame visai nebuvo vietos, Daug dekoracijų, lovų pagalvėlių, krėslas - tam, kad sudarytų prabangos įspųdį, bet nėra kaip praeiti ir kur pasidėti daiktų, o kai nuėjom miegoti net nebuvo kur ir tų pagalvėlių padėti. Viena iš lovų buvo ypač nepatogi, spyruokliavo kaip batutas, asmuo ant jos miegojęs bijojo iškristi, Apie valgymą nėra ko nei kalbėti - pusryčiavimui nebuvo sąlygų, nors indai ir arbata buvo padėti ant komodos.

Can’t go to garden from inside property. I should go from outside. Too small toilet. no fan in the toilet room 1&5. Suddenly, the heater turn off and the room so cold. I told the reception but she said nothing I can do. No car park. Very small fridge. I can’t use it for even milk or water but it was fit for my son medicine.

Poor communication from owner, wanted £10 per person just to drop bags off (not actually use room) Still waiting for invoice We had to cancel our stay due to a family emergency, our room was re advertised at a higher price before we even cancelled with booking.com yet we couldn’t have a refund (we did understand this but to sell the room twice is a bit unfair)

Beautiful and quaint room in excellent condition. Two night stay in an excellent location in central Chester, quiet road. Two nights unbroken sleep which is a first in a long time for me. Will be booking here again if i'm back in Chester.

Really enjoyable stay. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with and stayed when I was delayed in getting to the location. The introduction to the house and room was short and to the point and the room was very clean and well aired. Really enjoyable stay. Additional benefits - close to the railway station, easy to walk to the Roman walls, and the beautiful old church. Additionally, lots of restaurants and a large Tesco within walking distance - a big plus for food and general items needed.

The property was lovely and tidy and served its purpose well for a short visit. It was a comfortable and straightforward place to stay for the night while visiting Chester. Claire was a great host.

The shower was a bit on the small side, which made it feel a little cramped. However, for a one-night stay, it wasn't a major issue.

Ein gemütliches, ursprüngliches Haus mit angenehmer Atmosphäre und einer großartigen Gastgeberin. Zentral gelegen in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Stadtmauer, Busbahnhof und Supermarkt. Sehr gute Ausgangsbasis, um Chester zu Fuß zu erkunden. Sauber und durchdacht ausgestattet. Individuell im positivem Sinne, hier wird Wert darauf gelegt dass die Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Gerne wieder.

Die Wände sind dünn, wenn die anderen Gäste laut sind dann hört man sie. Die Dusche ist eine Herausforderung, für die gewünschte Temperatur ist Übung nötig.

Excellent location, 5 mins walk to centre. Claire was welcoming and gave us some places to visit at night which we really enjoyed. Room was clean, good decor and nice shower area.
