Reviewed Sep 3, 2026the fact there was a fridge and microwave and cutleries etc - full blown apartment. Easy to get access into the building etc
the toilette room is so tiny and the floors had dents in them that would sink in when I stepped in some places which made me worried that I'd get charged for damage i didn't commit. Also the TV's didn't work, there was no youtube, no netflix, no htmi cable nothing.

When booking its not very clear what room you get untill you pay! I thought i was getting a apartment but when booked it said it was a small double.. New pillows are a MUST! Unbelievably lumps and worn. Also room could do with a once over! A rusty radiator is not very welcoming.

La única aireación del total del apartamento es una rendija en una ventana de 20cm. A pesar de haber ventanas estás no tienen posibilidad de abrirse, están ciegas .Habitaciones cerradas y sin ventanas. No hay renovación de aire y en días de más de 25 grados centígrados es insoportable. Además la no revocación de aire es un peligro para la salud. La aireación asistida estaba sin motor por lo que no había cambio de aire en este sentido tampoco. El sofá cama es horrible, el colchón no sirve ni para que duerman jóvenes ni niños, imposible adultos.

Its a dodgy company that ask for your full visa card details, including the 3 digit security via email or over the phone before you are allowed to check in, if you don't provide the full details of your card then you are not allowed to check in. Be very careful booking with this hotel company.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026The location was great being near the train station. Close to pubs and shops. Easy to walk where we wanted to go.
It was a bit noisy being a Friday and Saturday night but we expected that for the location. I had to ring to get the code for the keys as it wasn't sent to me by check in time, and then the code that was sent to me was wrong but it was only out by one number so we figured it out without having to ring back again.

The small room was good as a sleeping base, but VERY hot, and no fan, luckily we also booked the apartment across the corridor which did have a fan which we moved to the small room

The room is small, above a pub and could get very warm during the summer.

Reviewed May 11, 2026No option to organise my key pick up after 6pm. I was asked to provide ID before the code was released. This had to be done by 6pm as that was when the reception closed. As I was a long way from home I didn’t have my passport or driving license.

Reviewed Feb 8, 2026Never book though this application and the base apartment, both are worse , i booked an apartment for me and my wife for 7 day and what we got a tiny room which doesn’t have any wardrobe, its really hard to squeeze in that room its just like a tiny single room with a double bed , we cant even move there, we contact the booking.com and base apartment what they told us that they gonna upgrade us or refund and they sent us an email as well we wait for them to transfer until evening and we didn’t get any response from them, they just hanging up the call without any proper response, its really rude and make us more frustrated, we contacted them again and again hardly 15 times in a day. Finally they gave us a solution that we need to adjust to cancel our booking and find something else without any refund, once we contact booking.com they said we need to talk to the property manger and find a solution and what the property manager told us we need to contact booking.com, its was really hard for us to contact them they just flipping us one to another without give any kind of solution or proper response, i never suggest this kind of fraud application and such a ridiculous apartment agency

Mould on the sofa bed, the bedroom door doesn’t stay open even if you use the door stop. Bath was dirty so was unable to use it rinsed it down with shower. Generally my stay was good there was a few things that let it down

Beds were uncomfortable. It was BOILING even in December. One of the bedrooms has no window - we had to prop open doors and open windows to allow airflow during the day. It’s a little run down inside and the sofa was also uncomfortable. Although communication was decent (when I contacted them), it was confusing on check in. I’ve never had it where I needed to ring on the day, nor a £100 deposit in Chester. Nonetheless, it was a decent stay for our weekend.
