It was a good location , staff very friendly

Room 5 smelt of dogs terrible , the bed was uncomfortable, bathroom tatty. Breakfast was ok you get what you pay for

Location was very convenient. Apartment had everything required and more.

Apartment was on the parking lot so no view at all.

The room was comfortable and clean. It is in a great position for the ferry to France. We managed to park at the back of the hotel.

It would be better if Reception was open until ferry passengers arrive at the hotel.

Staff friendly and helpful, Obliging with pre ordered Vegan breakfast. Offer of Vegan milk in room would be appreciated- we brought our own.

The bathroom mirror/light didn't light up and the pull cord was very grubby which was off putting, also the toilet toll holder was rusty- the shower was spacious and clean. Shame that there is an additional charge to park.

This place was ideally suited for our theatre visit. I expect we were indoors and in bed before other theatre goers had left the theatre car park! Very friendly staff,especially at breakfast. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and well cooked and plentiful. Room was large and comfortable as was bed. Couldn't hear other guests at all.

Room perhaps a little tired looking but nothing that would put me off staying there.

Breakfast was good, and the room was a well appointed ground floor flat accessed via the car park. It was close to Plymouth Hoe affording the opportunity for a pleasant walk. Staff were friendly and I would certainly stay there again.

There was no accessible soap in the shower other than the shampoo which didn't suit me particularly well.

Hotel was a great base for the one night we went to a show at the pavillions it was comfortable and the staff friendly the breakfast was great 😊

The step into the shower

Hotel staff were friendly, and the room was quite spacious. Area was very quiet at night. Only there for an overnight stopover for a visit to the theatre. Theatre was probably a 3 minute walk away and the Hoe was a two minute walk in the opposite direction. Breakfast was plentiful and nice.

Hotel was jaded in places, and our room - which was at the very top of the hotel was quite clearly in a battle with damp which was not being defeated. The room had a slight musty odour which was not present through the remainder of the hotel. Bed was extremely uncomfortable - but that's personal opinion. Hotel parking seemed to consist of two spaces, and we paid just under £20 to park on the street for 24hrs. Although the place was 'okay' it had certainly seen better days. Whilst I wouldn't be adamant about avoiding the hotel, I think my next theatre trip I would consider alternative locations before this one.

This is my favourite hotel to stay at near the Hoe in Plymouth for many reasons. See for yourself! The staff have always made my stay excellent everytime.

Die Unterkunft beim Parkplatz war alles andere als ansprechend für diesen Preis. Jeder hate Zugang zur Zimmertür was nicht gerade ein Sicherheitsgefühl vermittelte.

Breakfast was fine, single room had a bit more space to move around but the mattress was cheap and the carpet need a good clean as it was dirty, especially by the bed, that said the stay reflected the room cost so I cannot complain and the staff were friendly and helpful

I prefer my bacon less crispy, but that's just me!

Excellent location to the Theatre Royal, Plymouth. The breakfast was very good and catered for celiac clients very well. Very clean bedding and towels.

Att frukosten inte ingick fast jag är rätt säker på att jag bokat det i förväg. Hade tur att jag dubbelcheckade datum då bokningen först hamnat på 2027. Det hade enligt hotellet även hänt andra hotellgäster.

This property was close to the theatre which was great as my husband is not brilliant on his feet, we were greeted by an extremely helpful, kind member of staff. Parking not so easy as limited spaces, but with the theatre car parking close by it did not affect our visit. The property was clean, fantastic value for money, with a lovely selection of choices for breakfast. Thank you imperial. We will use again

Nice clean hotel, 5 minutes walk from the city centre and a couple of minutes walk the other direction up to the Hoe and seafront,friendly staff at the hotel. We managed to get a parking space at the front of the Hotel, car parking charged at £10, check out was 10.30AM but we were allowed to leave the car there till Midday,we were only there one night, breakfast was self service full English out of the usual steel warmers or continental or both if your hungry 😋.

Fire escape had paint material at bottom stairs and iwo door. Room smelled damp, carpet stained, kettle lead to short to operate safety, fire access blocked by van. Hair dryer could not be plugged in near mirror therefore of no use.

Bed very uncomfortable. Ended up with a family room not a double. I would have booked a family room if I had wanted another bed in our room. It took up space. Staff appeared unprofessional. Did wonder if they were actually trained. Breakfast was not good. Everything was hard as if it had been cooked then put out long before guests arrived. Building very old and it showed. Wouldn't recommend..

The location is close to the hoe and the barbican, both walkable distances. The hotel room was quite big and not too cramped. The bathroom was also quite big and spacious. Overall nice stay, great location and nice hotel breakfast.

Forgot to take pictures of the room but there were damages on the wall and big grey "stains" as well which did not appeal to us. The hotell bed was a bit too hard for our liking.

Easy access to the city centre and the Hoe, the hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast is ample and freshly cooked. Great value for money.

The room was very basic & small. I booked room many months ago & contacted them straight away to inform them my mom was disabled yet they gave me a 2nd floor room. She would never have got up them. I didn't ask to move as last minute my mom couldn't make it but just can't understand why they gave me a room so unsuitable

We slept in room 12 and both of us had a poor night sleep due to soft springy well used mattress. Very uncomfortable and gave me back ache .

-Attitude of staff ..not friendly or welcoming. -Communication on how to enter on late arrival. I had to chase a few times. - only advised me that breakfast wasn't included after payment taken before arrival. We went out for breakfast locally. - Expensive for the facilities on offer when no meals included. I booked breakfast but they said I hadn't. - Room not cleaned or bed made during our stay. - We had to request toilet paper as it wasn't replenished. - We had to request tea and coffee and milk as not replenished. - The bed was uncomfortable and pillows too. - Shower head fell off when showering. - Facilities don't deserve a 4 star rating.

Mattress and pillows were hard Some of the decor and furnishings need attention as worn Room 11 had some water damage to the ceiling with plaster missing and stains to the wall.

Sadly the room we were given, in the very top of the building, needed to have some refurbishment, all round. The shower room toilet needs a new system for it to function properly we feel, as the room toilet did not smell good at all and was very noisy. We decided not to use the shower, as we didn’t want to be in the room, with such a bad smell.

Le personnel de la Réception est très desagréable, impolie, absolument pas serviable, on a l’impression de les déranger. Le personnel de ménage et du petit déjeuner est comme il faut. Les chambres sont petites, très mal isolées, il faisait une chaleur insupportable car le ventilateur était inutilisabke faisait un bruit d’enfer.

The room itself was dog friendly but was filthy, the floors were like they hadn’t been moped in weeks, the bin hadn’t been emptied, it was very old and out dated & so hot in the room it was ridiculous

The accommodation was very near to The Hoe which we wanted. Very clean room with a fan which was welcome as it was so hot. Breakfast was very good with plenty tea and coffe. Fruit juice full English was excellent for the price we paid. Bed comfortable.

All the parking spaces at hotel taken so we had to park in road which took us sometime to locate. Woken up by seagulls at 3 in morning which continued and loud motorbike during night . Obviously hotel could do nothing about it as situated by sea.

Great position near town and hoe. Reported on was very clean. Staff helpful and breakfast was tasty - help yourself buffet. Needs a little updating but excellent value for money.

Great location for nightlife. Breakfast was very nice. Plenty of parking available and a polite, friendly welcome on checking in. Was shown my room. Room was clean and comfortable with hot water and a good pressure shower. Ground floor room was cool.

Our room did noticeable smell of a dog smell on arrival so unsure if a dog had been staying in there prior to us. This smell did disappear on us opening the window & airing the room out.

Locatie top, ruimte ook (we verbleven in het appartement Armada).

Het was niet heel schoon (stoffig en rare vlekken her en der) en we hadden gedoe met de douche (eerst bloedheet, daarna vervangen (fijn dat er snel gehandeld werd!) maar nog steeds niet top. Voor het bedrag wat we hebben betaald had ik een hogere kwaliteit verwacht.
