Wunderschöne Zimmer, ganz besonderes Haus mit ganz viel Charme, es gab sogar Geschenkpakete für Hunde und das Personal war einfach nur nett! So ein tolles Erlebnis!

I stayed one night at The White Hart Inn in Wells and had a lovely experience. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and we were able to leave our bags both before and after check‑in, which made it really easy to go off and sightsee. The room was small but perfectly comfortable for a one‑night stay, and the bottled water and biscuits were a really thoughtful touch. It’s a very interesting building with lots of character, and I’d definitely stay again.

The fact that it was very old and just across from the Cathedral where we went to a concert.

Very disappointed with the accommodation,I thought we would stay in the actual Hotel other than the chalet type room that we had. This was sold to me as a superior room, this was not superior this was as special Birthday weekend so was really disappointed.The noise from the fan in the bathroom was dreadful ,so loud. Cracked toilet cistern,cracked floor tiles.Settee to sit on but no table to put a drink on.

Lovely pub downstairs. Very good range of craft beers. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely staff.

The rooms are laid out along an external walkway. I think frosted glass rather than curtains across the doors would give a better sense of privacy.

The staff were very helpful and the food etc was very good. There was also a really positive and relaxing feel about the hotel. I would like to thank the manager for his continued help and support (Sorry forgot his name)

Very friendly and helpful staff! Made us feel welcome from the start.. our room was very clean with a very comfortable bed and lovely bath! We had a lovely member of staff show us to our room, which we thought was a nice thoughtful touch! Beautiful pub and nicely decorated, lovely selection of ciders and beers! Although we didn’t eat there, the choices on the food sounded amazing! Would definitely visit again :)

The only downside was the parking, but of course being in the city centre it’s not any fault on their part that they don’t have one! The staff were super helpful with recommending places to park, after a while searching for a space (also being market day was super busy) we found one not too far!

The White Hart was in a great location right opposite the cathedral. The staff were great and the breakfast was excellent. The room was ready early so we we able to get settled right away

The room (No. 8) was spacious. Comfortable bed. Good location.

Needed attention to interior decoration - especially the bathroom. Entry room door could do with painting - first impressions count! Bathroom light over mirror didn’t work & also a cracked toilet lid. There was noise from pipework in the bathroom throughout the night. Noise from the outside area of the pub from pub customers during the later hours of the evening.

The convenience of being close to the centre, the breakfast was to die for 😋😋

All the floor were worn and dirty and the headboard had 2 stains on them were countless of guest have rest against

General state of disrepair, in need update and fixing. Courtyard onlg access to rokm was dirty and scruffy, nany broken items Lots of disrepair and cigarette buts sll over cobbles. Outside stairs to room were steep and difficult.with corroded and broken banisters. Transparent shelter over balcony was filthy anx broken. Bathroom - stained ceiling, cracked toilet systern and floor tiles. No notice given for NO water in room after breakfast til after lunch so couldn't flush or wash clean teeth etc. Booked superior room, this was not.

Close to everything

The state of the cleanliness and paintwork and sticky tables and female toilets was poor with only 1 toilet available. The property is very tired. Bed lovely. Tv rubbish. Bathroom shower disgusting. Black inbetween tiles. Easy fix

Location was great and very close to the Cathedral which was lovely. We parked in Waitrose Carpark which is a short walk away overnight for around £ 6.50 which was great value. Breakfast was very nice and staff were very friendly. Plenty of atmosphere in the bar as they had a chap singing in the beer garden.

We stayed in the ground floor. Noise from the room right above ours was really disturbing. Hosts sitting in the courtyard were smoking right in front of our windows.

Poiché non hanno parcheggio bisogna lasciare la macchina nel parcheggio di un supermercato ad una decina di minuti a piedi dall'hotel

breakfast room was full of uncleared tables, service very slow and had to 'chase' staff to take order (most likely insufficient people on shift rather than a direct complaint at the woman working). food was pretty poor quality (avocado must have been from el pasa and not fresh). Bathroom shower leaked a lot and was clearly an existing unresolved issue as floor tiles were cracked and floor 'sagging'

The bed had a big dip in the mattress. The room smelt musty and you could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom.

Nothing: On arrival we were given Room 5. It was uninhabitable. It was severely infiltrated by black mould!! The black mould was in the room and bathroom. A dehumidifier was running in the room on arrival. Totally unacceptable. Room was not fit for purpose.

Room was hot but it was a during a heatwave and we did have a fan so no more could have been done.

Really good location. Saturday Bar staff and landlord were exceptionally good, friendly and helpful. Top marks. Pub/Bar area was buzzing, great beer and cider, good food, lots of locals and visitors enjoying the space. Live music was really good and a bonus. Bed was so comfy, really was good. Room was spacious and clean. Cooked breakfast was really good.

No parking facilities but we parked in local car park for £5 for 24 hours. Morning staff (waitresses) for breakfast and the continental part of the breakfast let it down a bit. Coffee had run out, no bread for toasting, butter had run out, limited choice for cereal (bran flakes or muesli), no flavoured yogurts just plain, no drinking water available, yet when we asked all items were available, but it just got a bit tiresome asking all the time on both mornings when the waitress should keep these things topped up during the breakfast timings and we arrived half way through service so its not like we were late. The cooked breakfast was really good though, really good quality ingredients, cooked well, plentiful and hot. Just what you need.

Le service pour les petits déjeûners laissait à désirer..., pas de café prêts sinon des sachets. Personnel aux abonnés absents au service de ce dernier.

A lovely property. Our room was very tastefully finished. Nice comfy bed, and the room was nice and quiet .I really appreciated my special request to put my motor scooter around the back of the property for security, after assuring the staff that I wouldn't make any noise on leaving. To be honest, the bin lorry the next morning made more noise than I would have done. Had an evening meal which was very good indeed

Not much . My wife was disappointed with the very basic continental breakfast. There wasn't any cheese .There was only one person looking after things and didn't really grasp the importance of keeping things like milk and butter topped up. I had to clear our table just to be able to sit down. No bowls for the cereal, until I asked again! We felt that the £16 paid for the breakfast was a bit steep. Had everything gone smoothly with more choice on the food and service side, we wouldn't have minded.

Location was great and room was clean although very small with not much room around the bed or to put a glass on stand due to the lamps.

Bathroom was tiny. Literally a shower cubicle wide. Could do with some professional TLC with woodwork and fixings. We were asked what time we would like breakfast. We said 9.30am. when we got down, there were no staff to be seen, the 'continental' breakfast was none existent and only 1 slice of bread left next to the toaster. Had to find out own juice and milk in the fridge. When we were eventually served, the cooked breakfast was lovely. It really did seem like we were interrupting staff setting the bar up for the day. If 9.30 was too late, we would rather someone say.

The photographs do not match the current state of this slum so do not be fooled. I’m a regular and have stayed here a few times but this year I have never witnessed a room being so dirty and unkept it was if somebody had slept in the bed there where blood stains and pee stains on my duvet and mattress protector, the room stunk to high heaven of pee and room spray, there where hairs in the bath, pubic hairs covering the floor, the view was unbelievable, just out of my window there where mattresses and duvets that looked like they’d been left to rot, the list could go on. I would guarantee if you stayed here you’d be very disappointed and would want you a refund. Absolutely awful place.

Bath drain didn't work, mouldy tiles, very damp and smokey smell in downstairs bedroom, dirty teaspoons in sink on arrival, toilet stained, hairdryer didn't work, shower controls completely opposite to marked controls and hot would have scalded you, but besides this convenient location and staff lovely. Not sure it would be 2* though as verging on 1*.

Room was clean, but some parts of the room needs attention. Full length Mirror too low on the wall. A Grab rail over the bath would be a wise inclusion as getting in and out of bath difficult. Cracked Tiles, grotty grout around bath and shower screen. Shower hose Leaked, Mattress had seen better days or (Nights) very lumpy and sagged on the edge. Outside area quite scruffy and needs a bit of a tidy up, cigarette ends and litter on the floor in the yard.

The White Hart Inn was a fabulous place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was extremely well cooked and absolutely delicious!

Our room was directly above the kitchen so was a little noisy when the kitchen fans came on in the morning.
