It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and so were the staff .

Couldn’t fault the property although the stairs could possibly be an issue with persons with reduced mobility. The staircase itself was beautiful .

Die Lage war sehr gut und sehr nah am Strand gelegen. Sehr gut zu erreichen von Dover aus. Der Parkplatz kostet 5£ bzw. 6,20£ pro Tag. Für einen Tag ist das okay. Der Empfang war herzlich und professionell. Wirklich sehr freundlich! Das Frühstück konnte aus einem Menü ausgewählt werden und wurde dann pünktlich serviert. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und süße Kaninchen. Das Zimmer war sauber und ästhetisch eingrerichtet. Es hat trotz kleiner Größe groß gewirkt. Alle Abläufe waren einfach.

Eine Begrenzung am Klopapierhalter, damit es nicht dauernd runterfällt. Mehr platz zum Handtücher aufhängen im Bad.

Die Unterkunft "The Relish" ist äußerst empfehlenswert. Die Gastgeberin war superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sowie die gesamte Unterkunft waren toll eingerichtet und sauber. Besonderes Highlight war, dass leckerer Kuchen sowie dazugehörige Heißgetränke jederzeit kostenlos bereitstanden. Der Innenhof/Terrasse lud zum Verweilen ein. Das morgendliche Frühstück war echt spitze. Auch die Lage der Unterkunft konnte absolut überzeugen.

Child’s bed was a poor quality metal camp bed. Very uncomfortable.

Beautiful place, spotlessly clean, lovely products, comfy bed, great breakfast.

Full of character, clean and fresh. Laura was most welcoming and the breakfast was perfect.

Nice clean bright rooms and breakfast was good.

Check in was 1600. We arrived at 1520 only to be told we would be charged £5 to check in early. Our room was ready anyway. As it turns out my card was charged £3.80 for an early check in. Unfortunately this is totally inflexible and despite enjoying our stay for the sake of this £3.80 charge I wouldn’t return. I hope the owner can see the bigger picture in future.

The whole experience at this hotel was excellent... the room was exceptional had an upgrade. Great choice for breakfast which was great too. Very friendly staff wanted for nothing bottled water milk in small fridge when ever I needed it also cake which is available. The little things that made it special like the butter for your toast was swirling butter.

If i am honest they wasnt anything I didnt like.

Location was great. Room was cozy, comfortable and very clean.

The property was clean, the lady running it was very friendly. We stayed for one night to break our journey back from France and has a great nights sleep with an excellent breakfast the next morning. There are a couple of parking spaces just round the corner that you can book and leave the car without any worries. The view from the back of the house was onto pleasant parkland and the lady had 2 pet rabbits hopping round the garden. The price was really reasonable given the facilities, the location and the breakfast.

Lovely welcome to the Relish. The hotel is modern and clean. I travelled with my 8 year old daughter for a dance competition nearby at the Leas Cliff hall. It has been super hot, so was really nice to sit in the shaded garden in the afternoon whilst my daughter fed the hotel bunnies!! I didn’t catch the ladies name who runs the hotel but she was very friendly, chatty and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and cooked to perfection. I couldn’t fault the price of the hotel either - very fair. Street was really quiet at night time. Would return!

Didn’t not like anything - only grumble may have been carrying the bags up the stairs. We stayed near the top of the hotel. If you are not good on the stairs, I would enquire about this before booking. Although I am sure most the hotels in the area are laid out the same!

The room was beautiful, overlooking the garden and the park. Great location very close to the beach. Laura was amazing and so helpful she helped us print my speech for the wedding we were attending and get us a taxi :) Wonderful b&b, great bathtub and shower. Breakfast was lovely with great options for hot and cold and nice self serve coffee machine - with decent coffee which is very important to me!

It was a little bit more than I'd usually spend per night on a room but it definitely felt luxurious and the location made it perfect for a special occasion. Tv was outdated but we weren't there to watch telly so it didn't matter!

We stayed the night here, the location was fabulous very best to The Leas Cliff Pavilion where we saw Jools Holland. The Hotel was clean and spotless. The host was welcoming and gave us the info we needed. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in a hotel in a long time. The ingredients were top quality and cooked to perfection! If we stay again we might choose a bigger room but it was just perfect for o e night. The toiletries were lovely too.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable for our liking.

Didn’t get to round to visiting the garden

Vriendelijk personeel, kamer was schoner dan rest van het hotel. Prettige plek, vlakbij de zee. Badkamer ook optimaal schoon.

Ontbijt moesten we een tijdstip voor afspreken, maar toen wij daar keurig op tijd waren, moesten we alsnog ruim een halfuur wachten. Wel lekker ontbijt. Parkeren kost nog een extra €10 per dag, en erg krap, dat was jammer.

The room was clean, quiet and spacious in a nice location away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

Began with an odd check-in experience where we struggled to get into the hotel. The hotel itself felt a bit dated and in need of some modernising. We also didn't have hot water on the morning we checked out and didn't have time to wait for it to get sorted. We overheard guests mention it too so clearly wasn't just us.

All good from arrival to departure.

The water temperarture in the bathroom was nowhere near hot enough. The shower was barely warm and I had to boil a kettle to get hot water for shaving,.

Small cold room. Uncomfortable bath. Scant hot water. Note: the rooms in this hotel vary considerably, my brother and his wife had a very nice room, palatial by comparison, and only £20 more, they were very happy.

Lovely room, spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good but it's a bit inconvenient to have to choose exactly what you will eat on the previous afternoon.

There seemed to be only one member of staff, in charge of everything. He was very helpful, but this is unfair on him, there needs to be more staff available, especially to clean the room (which didn't happen). The other thing which was difficult was the default check-in of 4pm. That is too late. A charge is levied if you want to arrive earlier, which is a very off-putting thing to discover if you pitch up hopefully at 3pm. It would be MUCH better in my view to charge an extra £5 and let people check in by 2pm or 3pm at the latest say, as many other hotels do.

As you walk in you hit with a terrible smell, sort of like cooking, damp and body odour. The entrance and living room we were put in to wait wasn't heated so it was freezing. The room smelled much better than the downstairs area and it was clean, but still had a smell of damp. The bathroom was clean and quite modern, but the bath had a big blue stain in it, which stopped me from using it. There is also some system in the toilet that makes it sound like a blender, so throughout the night we would hear this loud noise whenever any of the rooms around us used the toilet. Photos of this property are misleading it is run down and dated.

The staff were great & very accommodating.

Only a one night stay so nothing to dislike.

I stayed at Relish Hotel for a business trip, mainly because it was close to the meeting center and had high ratings. One highlight of my stay was the breakfast—it was genuinely good. The English beans, in particular, were delicious, and I would love to learn the recipe!

However, there were several disappointing aspects. When I arrived, I was shocked to see that the building was surrounded by ongoing construction, which had not been mentioned during booking. There was only one staff member present, who did his best to help but was understandably overwhelmed. After checking out, I requested an invoice, but they were unable to provide it because they didn’t know how to send a PDF. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of responsibility from management was frustrating and unacceptable.

My husband omellete was lovely. The room was ok. The Shower was lovely. The person that was working there and served breakfast was very good.

My breakfast was not great, the avocado was over ripe and was not pleasant. The room was ok, but the bed was not comfortable and squeak everytime we moved on the bed, which was not pleasant and the fact that there was painting work happening all around the hotel painting the outside of the hotel, so we could not see out of our room and people could access the scaffolding at all times, so we did not feel safe.

Reception staff very good. Breakfast very good and varied. Room as shown on web site so no hidden surprises.

The white house is beautiful on the outside. The b&b offers a private parking around the corner. The host is trying his very best to be helpful in any way.

When you enter the reception there is a dusty smell (of carpet ?). The interior decoration is basic, not in the same mood as the pictures of the rooms at all. Breakfast was made to order by the host himself and it was nice to be able to choose something vegetarian. The basic breakfast buffet was minimal, all pre packed ( cheese, butter, jam), some toast bread. The only thing fresh were some fruits.

Such a lovely place for our stay in Folkstone! The welcoming staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was really nice, clean, warm and comfortable. The location was convenient and an easy wall to town. Would defintely stay here again.

The TV in our room didn't work very well. The picture quality was poor. We didn't report this issue during our stay. The dining room at breakfast was chilly but it was winter time during our stay and a large room to heat.

Very clean, basic room with a few frills. Good view of the garden/park. Only seemed to be one member of staff, and he was extremley busy!!, especially at breakfast, which was excellent. He appeared to be on reception, offered to carry luggage, and was also taking orders, cooking and serving breakfast. Phew!!!!, He was a star.

Great location for a weekend break. Room is spacious and well-appointed. The little touches like free water and cake are very welcome. Host is gracious and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent. This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed there, and recommend to anyone visiting Folkestone.

Es fehlte in dieser eigentlich schönen Umgebung an Ambiente und Originalität.

Man ist ganz nah am Meer. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und die Bettten bequem. Frühstück sehr lecker.

Advertised as licensed poperty when it isnt. One male receptionist seemed to be doing everything from welcome receptionist to cooking breakfasts, the latter not very good. Compared with our last visit the fabric of the property has declined.

Raj was fantastic during the stay, more than helpful. Very refreshing.

No elevator to the third floor

Beautiful hotel, great location and accomodating staff. Beautiful room, bathroom ensuite and storage. Thank you for the oat milk in my room and the water from downstairs. Thank you for extending the breakfast and then saving it for me after Parkrun and a swim! Very close to the Leas where I went to a wedding and could walk back to the hotel. I was given room key with front door key on it.

Feather down pillows and duvets. I think I am allergic + I am also vegan so dont morally agree with them. I woke with a stuffy nose from them. Unfortunately the lights in my bathroom wouldnt come on so was unable to have a shower before bed.

We booked a couple of rooms for a family wedding at a venue close by. Overall, it was excellent value for money and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms were lovely and quiet and the breakfast was great. Very happy.

Das englische Breakfast war ganz hervorragend. Der Concierge Rudge war sehr höflich hilfsbereit zuvorkommend und hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet.

Die Lage des Hotels ist angenehm ruhig und in einer schönen Ecke Folkstones. Man kann an der Strandpromenade bequem in die Stadt laufen. Die beiden gebuchten kleinen Doppelzimmer waren absolut in Ordnung für eine Nacht nach der Ankunft mit der Fähre, hätten uns aber auch für ein Wochenende gut ausgereicht. Die Bäder sind ganz neu renoviert und alles ist insgesamt sehr stilvoll hergerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Shower temperature wasn’t consistent, dangerously hot without warning at times.

The hotel manager Raj was always very happy and attentive . The breakfast choices were good with quite alot of choice and the rooms despite being a little small, but were clean and tidy . Deanna, the hostess at breakfast was very helpful and cheerful each day . We wanted to say a big thankyou for our lovely stay and hopefully return and the staff were a credit to this hotel .

The only problem I would say is the parking , even though Raj was able to save us a space I can see it being a slight problem to anyone who was staying and didn't manage to get a space as it will require parking in a nearby street . This is the only problem I can fault, and it is a small one .
