Azoris Royal Garden – Leisure & Conference Hotel

Hotel molto bello, dotato di tutti i confort di un hotel di questo livello. Bella camera spaziosa ma la nostra, al secondo piano, affacciava su un tetto pieno di pannelli solari. Il centro si raggiunge in meno di 10 minuti di passeggiata. Abbiamo richiesto un taxi per raggiungere l'aeroporto alle sei di mattina e ci è stato celermente fornito.

Struttura un po' "fredda". Ma per un hotel di tali dimensioni penso sia normale

Veldig seint rengjøring på rommene- kl 16-17. Folk kommer fra utfluktene og ønsker ta dusj og slappe av, men da kommer rengjøring. Glassene blir ikke vasket/byttet. Frokost ok om du er der 2-3 dager, men blir for ensformig om du bor 1 uke. OBS - dårlig kunnskap/tilrettelegging for allergier, har feks brødskiver under bacon...

Location, clean, large, comfortable rooms. Helpful staff.

What a sad end to a milestone trip. I am writing this review to share our actual experience as returning guests celebrating a major 50th birthday milestone in the Azores. Severe, unprecedented fog and successive flight cancellations delayed our arrival to the property. I contacted the hotel immediately upon being delayed by the airline, asking to adjust our itinerary dates. Management refused any schedule adjustment, holding us to the original non-refundable booking terms for the entire duration. Although our reservation began on May 31st, flight disruptions prevented us from physically checking in until June 3rd. We completed our stay and checked out just 13 hours later to catch our scheduled transfer to Pico. In total, we paid $4,000 for a 13-hour actual stay at the hotel. Upon returning home, I asked management to reconsider charging full price for the missed nights given these extraordinary circumstances. Management acknowledged in writing that the travel disruptions were completely beyond our control and expressed sympathy. However, they hid behind third-party rate conditions to justify keeping 100% of the $4,000 payment without offering any partial refund or credit toward a future visit. A business’s commitment to service is tested when things go wrong. Choosing rigid policy over basic goodwill for returning guests facing a travel emergency speaks volumes. We will not be returning.

Хорошее расположение, в 10 минутах пешком от центра. Достаточно новый отель, большой номер, удобная ванная. Завтраки более менее, ожидаешь бОльшего от подобного отеля. Свой паркинг.

Близко от аэропорта, очень слышно самолеты, с открытым окном спать невозможно.

Hotel was really nice and the daily breakfast was perfect to start the day. We rented a car to get around the island but really enjoyed that the hotel was walking distance to downtown.

Pools and gym were good. Great breakfast. Good location. Had live music one night. Bar staff excellent. Lots of help from front desk staff. Overall very pleased.

Need AC improvement in gym.

Struttura molto grande, ottimi ambienti. Belle piscine, sia esterna che interna.

Tutto ok

Habitación triple muy grande con dos baños y gran balcón con vistas al jardín interior. Camas cómodas y grandes. Piscina exterior agradable con agua templada. Spa con piscina climatizada y jacuzzi.

Está un poco alejado del centro, 15-20 minutos andando. La zona tiene poco atractivo y el restaurante O Baco (a 2 minutos) es un timo, muy caro y de calidad normalita.

Breakfast was very good. Our room was very spacious and clean. Good location, just a 5 minute walk into the town.

The hotel had a business hotel feel about it, rather than a holiday feel. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the hotel, I think it was expensive at £325 per night….I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels for less.

El precio me ha parecido demasiado elevado para la calidad ofrecida. En mi opinión, la relación calidad-precio no está justificada.

Staff is nice and helpful. Lots of facilities including bicycles. Great location in the center for walking. Breakfast has lots of food choices, with plenty of food served.

The parking situation: they charge 10 euro a night which is very reasonable, but feels unnecessary. The only people parking there are customers, many of whom rent a car and parking could be complementary. But the real issue is that the parking spaces are very tight because the roof supporting poles take part of the parking space

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Die anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten wurden von Herrn Ivo und Frau Elisete an der Rezeption schnell, freundlich und kompetent geklärt. Danke!

Chambre avec 3 lits très spacieuse, calme et confortable. Petit déjeuner très varié et de bonne qualité

Las instalaciones exteriores estan muy bien. Tiene piscina exterior y interior (para la interior necesitas gorro) La habitacion tiene todas las comodidades y la cama es muy comofortable. El balcon tiene unas vistas agradables. Tenia parking gratis con la habitacion que contratamos.

El servicio del restaurante no era el adecuado, para la celiaquia poca atención y zona delimitada. El precio es bastante elevado, para estar tan cerca del ruido del Aeropuerto. El personal poco agradable y no hablan ingles.

The art work and furnishings on the different levels, makes the property distinctive.

Did not get room I want when I booked with King bed. Restaurant food was ok, but some soup of the day and Limpets appetizer, and my wife’s main course (Cod Fish) all came out cold and needed to be set back and reheated. The dessert we ordered, we were later advised they didn’t have ingredients to make it. Not a good dining experience. Also early breakfast at 5:30 didn’t have any eggs to eat as part of the free breakfast,

El hotel y la atmósfera. El desayuno fantástico y los camareros muy atentos y agradables.las habitaciones las limpiaban muy bien, y dejaban los cuartos muy ordenados

El personal de recepción. Muy antipático y seco. De toda nuestra estancia en azores, los mas antipaticos con diferencia.

Property is well located and is about a 10 minute walk from the center. Streets are safe and quaint. Everything is close by. Car rental and many food options are a few minutes away. The property grounds are great, from the Japanese garden to the pool and the green and lush space surrounding it. It can be very peaceful and pleasant. Breakfast was tasty and generous, especially when ordered as continental breakfast to the room. Staff is very nice and helpful.

The gym was underwhelming. A property of this size needs a better equipped gym. Also the elevators are a bit slow.

Сауна холодная, не должно быть таймера, сауна должна быть включена всегда. Хамам вообще не поняли, таймер 30 минут, обжигающий по ногам пар, сидения холодные. В спа дети играют в мяч, персонала нет. Воды в спа также нет. Яйца жареные можно не через день подавать, а каждый день.

Nice outdoor and indoor pools. The pillows and beds were comfortable, and the cleanliness was up to standard. The hotel is located near the airport, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage: it’s only a 10-minute taxi ride for 10 euros, but the noise from landing and taking-off planes can be heard all the time.

Algumas toalhas de banho não eram adequadas a um hotel de 5 estrelas, uma vez que apresentavam visíveis sinais de utilização.

Muy limpio.

Muy antiguo. La ducha estaba rota. La comida terrible, desayunamos allí porque estaba incluido pero era limitado y la comida estaba seca. La cena terrible, muy muy cara y el atún estaba pasado, de hecho tuvimos una indigestión. Comimos algunos días en el hotel porque también estaba incluido pero acabamos evitándolo por que nos sentó mal la comida y era escasa y de mala calidad. La experiencia no fue buena.

An absolutely superb 10/10 experience! We spent 3 fantastic nights here. The hotel impresses right from the start with its cleanliness, elegance, and extremely relaxing atmosphere. The spa area and the indoor pool are simply wonderful, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. The rooms are spacious, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the staff was impeccably polite, always attentive to our needs. The location in Ponta Delgada is excellent. I highly recommend it and we will definitely return!

The amenities at this hotel are great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice Hotel.

Hotel muito calmo e bem localizado. Quartos confortáveis e práticos. O pequeno almoço era muito variado, tinha de tudo um pouco e estavam sempre a repor.

Apesar de ser um hotel confortável só achei que tínhamos que percorrer grandes distâncias para ir para o quarto, para o pequeno almoço, para ir ao spa tínhamos que dar uma volta enorme ao hotel, etc. Mas isto deve-se ao facto da planta do hotel ser com pátio interior, então não há nada a fazer. Também achei muito incomodativo começar a ouvir cadeiras e móveis a arrastar nos pisos superiores logo cedo de manhã, possivelmente devido às limpezas de outros quartos, o que fazia com que não conseguisse descansar tranquilamente a partir daquela hora…

Personal bol veľmi neprofesionálny Raňajky boli veľmi slabé, takmer žiadny výber a obmieňanie Čistota wellness centra, celé wellness centrum zapáchalo tak že do spŕch sa nedalo ani ísť Pomer cena a kvalita Hlasná hudba po 23:00, aj napriek tomu že sme sa sťažovali niekoľkokrát. Izbu upratujú až po 17:00 Prebiehajúca rekonštrukcia Veľmi hlučne vďaka lietadlám

Elegancki hotel . Bardzo dobrze położony blisko do centrum i lotnisko. Parking na miejscu, mieliśmy w cenie -miłe zaskoczenie. Śniadania dobre . Można wypożyczyć rower . Parasolki na deszcz też są dostępne.

O hotel em si é maravilhoso, super grande mas acolhedor é muito confortável.

Acho que principalmente as casas de banho dos quartos poderiam ter uma reforma. São um pouco antigas.
