Great location
部屋からの眺め、最高のご馳走でした!
うーん、町中から外れていることくらいでしょうか
Location, staff and very clean
The restaurant dinner options are too expensive and minimum choices, the bar has limited eating options as does room service. Breakfast is abundant and high quality.
3つのバスルームがあって、とても良かったです。

Stayed at the Rees for the view and its proximity to central Queenstown.
Didn't like that there were no "Do not disturb" buttons or cards for your door. The cleaners knocked on your door quite early in the mornings.
Emplacement vue sur le lac. Le calme
Pas assez de rangement pour les vestes de ski, pour le linge dans les chambres. Chambres trop petites
Amazing location with incredible views, shuttle bus was a great service and the staff were so helpful
Nothing, everything was great
有shuttle bus
餐具很明顯已經沒有光澤,可以換了吧?以這個酒店的價錢,用這種餐具,很不行!
The view from our room was lovely. The room itself was a reasonable size with good amenities. The hotel location five minutes drive from the city centre was compensated by the provision of the courtesy bus which ran every hour starting at 8am.
Whilst the dining room/restaurant was lovely, it was not open all the time. A cafe area (even though the bar beside the reception served coffee etc.) would be helpful. Also being on level 2 and having to take a lift from the main entrance/exit on level 7 to level 3 and then walk across the carpark to take another lift to level 2 was at times annoying.
Beautiful rooms , great location and great staff
Everything was amazing
The views are amazing Free parking

Room was wonderful with stunning views and very relaxing. Will stay there again
The mattress wasnt the best. Everytime my husband moved the mattress moved
The room was lovely. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable which was a welcome relief after a day of skiing. The heated floors helped to get ski gloves dry before the next day. The ski locker and facilities all worked really well to store our ski gear overnight. Staff were amazing and all very helpful. It was definitely a luxury experience.
The shuttle bus only ran once every hour, on the hour, although it was only a 10 minute trip into town. Whilst I planned on using the shuttle to get into the heart of town, we didn't use it at all because we didn't have the time to wait until the one bus per hour, so we caught an Uber which was relatively inexpensive and very quick. If I knew this before booking the accommodation I probably would have booked closer to town. Breakfast didn't start until 7am, so we didn't have the opportunity to try it before needing to get on the Cardrona bus at 7:50am each morning - a hearty breakfast would have been very welcome.

Good location Great bar at the reception area
Neighbours were very noisy coming and going through the adjoining room entry area
The location was amazing
It was very warm and well insulated.
Found so much hair in my room and bathroom(even on fresh towels). when i told staff they didnt seem overly surprised or apologetic. they cleaned my room again but left a rag and it was just overall at a below average cleanliness level and i did find other hairs afterwards too. We were given an accessible room and the water just went everywhere, so we had to use every towel after a shower to keep the floor relatively dry. it was just very poorly designed bathroom. Breakfast was horrible. Overpriced and the fruit had been sitting from the previous day/days? Mislabelled items and stale bread. Some staff were nice and some were rude. Definitely not worth the price point and to be so far out of town.
The view, fireplace, well built apartments and heated floors.
Carpets in the room were a little dirty.
Our second time staying at The Rees and it was excellent once again. The location is great with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Beautiful rooms with large bathrooms, very comfortable bed, excellent heating and stunning view. Friendly and helpful staff and complimentary shuttle into town.
Nothing. Everything was great.
Close to town.Fabulous views. Spacious rooms Great bar for pre dinner drinks.
Along the lake, easy to get to and from. Far enough from road so nice and quiet. Ample parking
Was just too far away for a walk to nearby restaurant in the winter, should be fine in the summer months.
stunning location great accomodation
Clean, spacious, well resourced
Microwave didn’t open and kept having to ask for new dishwashing tablets as kept running out
Beautiful location with stunning views. Loved the shuttle service to and from the hotel, they ran every hour so was convenient. Beds and room were very comfortable. Staff were all friendly and always willing to help. We stayed for 7 nights during winter and rooms were always warm and well insulated.
Don’t really have any complaints, had an overall pleasant stay.
床很好睡溫暖 舒服溫暖暖 兩房兩廳的格局非常的適合我們全家兩大兩小 然後面對湖景,每天早上起床都有賴床的理由 躺在床上就可以欣賞美景
The rooms were amazing, bed was so comfy. And the lounge bar area is lovely. Restaurant was also exceptional

The incredible lake and mountains view, cleanliness of the entire apartment and love how they have filtered drinking water system installed in the kitchen. Love the fireplace in the living room. And the balconies!!
The TV being on the side of the living room. We do love the fireplace though. We just had a little hard time memorizing the in room dinning menu when calling from the other side of the room to place the order.
Location, views, wonderfully appointed apartment. Staff that we dealt with were attentive and excellent!
The cleaning was lacking. Basins weren’t wiped over during our stay - bathrooms weren’t cleaned properly as a whole. Only our towels were replaced. For the cost, this should be considered. One day our cleaner didn’t come until 4pm. The cleaning aspect needs a bit of improvement given the cost during the peak season. This does not take away from all the wonderful parts of the hotel, however! Just some feedback for quality improvement.
The reception area
The shuttle service not being avail 3 times when I tried to book. Initially not being told I needed to book. Having to contact reception every day and ask for milk (when housekeeping can see there’s none). Doesn’t matter that this was disclosed. Requesting a blanket- no one came. Had to ask again the next night. Access via the car park and view wasn’t consistent with my previous stay (also a 2br lake view apartment).
I stayed at The Rees Hotel Queenstown with high expectations, especially because this trip was meant to be a special occasion. Unfortunately, the experience was far below what I expected from a hotel of this standard and price. The biggest issue was the lack of comfort and proper service on our first night. The heating/air conditioning in our room did not work properly, and we were left waiting for several hours in cold weather while the issue remained unresolved. We were eventually moved to another room late at night, but by then the evening had already been disrupted. After travelling and arriving at the hotel expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay, having to deal with a cold room and repeated delays was very disappointing. Another major disappointment was the birthday arrangement. I had confirmed the details with the hotel in the morning, but the setup was still not properly handled on time. Instead of receiving a smooth and thoughtful service, we had to keep checking and following up ourselves. The wine was also unclear, and when I asked about it, I did not feel that staff provided a clear or proactive solution. I was repeatedly asked to check things myself, which made the whole experience feel stressful rather than special. What disappointed me most was not only that these problems happened, but the way they were handled. The response felt passive and insufficient for a hotel of this level. The compensation offered, such as waiving the wine charge, did not really address the inconvenience, the lost time, or the emotional impact of the evening. This was supposed to be a memorable stay, but instead it became frustrating and upsetting. I understand that mistakes can happen, but guests should not have to repeatedly chase staff for updates or solutions, especially when paying for a premium hotel experience. I expected better communication, more initiative, and a more sincere effort to make the situation right.

Beautiful view Nice big balcony Close to town
Lack of facilities, big footprint but no spas on balcony’s or on property. Close to city but offered no shuttle etc overpriced for what it is but staff lovely and very clean apartments.

the room was clean and comfortable, view was not what i expected small balcony. Free parking was a bonus.
Incredible stay and such a luxury feel. Heated floors in the room was divine, the staff are amazing and so thoughtful. So handy to have a shuttle to Queenstown and free washer and dryer available at the hotel!
The best experiences at this gorgeous hotel property. The design, decor, spectacular views, efficient and friendly staff come together to delight its guests. I was last in Queenstown around 33 years ago. It has been transformed with modern architecture, sophisticated shopping and world-class restaurants. I remember when hotels made minimal efforts in many ways including hotel restaurants as tourists rarely returned. All that has changed. And for the better. The value added by this approach is palpable. Krishna the chef and his staff work very well together. His waiters were trained and experienced by working for some of the most elite luxury cruise lines. The menu is remarkably varied. Venison, abalone and even small potatoes were so delicious. Unique presentations. Fruit doughnut for desert was more like the best apple strudel with added fruits. The food is healthy, properly prepared with excellent portions. Travellers who enjoy challenging explorations can return to their luxurious hotel and have a wonderful dinner without further extending a long day to find and go to a restaurant in town. Most highly recommend Rees.
The rooms were spotless, quiet and there was a beautiful view of the lake. The staff were exceptional- so friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus a tremendous service. Dining room served incredibly meals.
Everything was great We were only there briefly and unexpectely after our flight was cancelled
Nothing to improve
The fire alarm went off at 8am and woke us up. The staff came to our room to check, just asked if there was an issue and left. No apologies or explanation for it, it ruined a bit the experience for us.
Jacob. The Concierge was the best part of our experience. He went out of the way to make every minute of our stay enjoyable. Nothing stopped him from going all out with our travel experiences and the tiniest of comforts that excelled despite my concierge experiences at The Four Seasons and The Ritz Carltons around the world. He was the true Brand Ambassador for The Rees Hotel.
早餐種類不多,但是可以吃飽,主要是吃早餐環境不錯,可以悠閒的吃早餐並享受美景,已經連續兩年來皇后鎮渡假,都是住在The Rees
Everything, exceptional facilities
I didn't realise when I booked this room 3 months earlier, that I would never want to leave!! The room was super cosy when we arrived late in the afternoon. and the beds were feather soft, just how I like them. The buffet breakfast in the morning was top shelf, with all the usual suspects including eggs, bacon, beans and little mini croissants (my personal favourite :) ). I am already planning a long weekend getaway with my sisters, just to enjoy the Rees again!
Location is good, only 10mins to city centre. The Rees provides a shuttle bus service to & from town. This is very convenient as you don’t have to find parking, or have a couple of drinks. The view over the lake, and snow covered mountains in the background is a vision splendid.
Getting in and out of the property due to the busy roadway.
The Rees was our final hotel in New Zealand and what a perfect way to end our adventure, a realization of a dream trip to this fabulous country. This hotel, surprisingly gigantic with our 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment was so comfortable and had everything you needed! The plus-plus-plus for us was the comp shuttle that took you to the center. From there we had our choice of fav "to dos," e.g., tours, the Kiwi House, restaurants, etc. Oh, and for us was the unexpected benefit - our place which faced Remarkabels and had the most welcome and unexpected star filled, milky way sky.
WE were staying opposite of the rees hotel Airbnb. recommended Beautiful meal in the restaurant. me and husband enjoyed the trust the chef experience. However, Danish was exceptionally amazing with the service and somehow he convinced us to have Wine pairing with it. Which become memorable moment. Thank You Danish.
湖の真横にあり、ロケーションが最高でした。 部屋やホテル全体も綺麗でした。
特別はないですが、キッチンペーパーはキッチンにあるといいかなと。
Great view from the room
This is a beautiful property. They upgraded us to a one bedroom apartment and it was awesome. We enjoyed the spectacular lake view. Plus it had a washer and dryer so we could do laundry while traveling. The location was good too and the room quiet. If we return to Queenstown, NZ, we definitely would stay here again. Also, professional staff who were friendly and helpful.
What a great experience, I had in queenstown. Especially, The Rees Hotel. DANISH was the main attraction for us. Helped us with food selection and wine pairing. Very Chrismatic and charming personality. Highly recommended and will be back again. Amazing service.
Fantastic location and very comfortable accommodation
Nothing!
Wonderful stay. Obviously quite pricey but very clean and comfortable and the staff were super helpful- we were a bit early and asked to park, but the room was ready so they allowed us to check in and checked everything was alright with us.
Nothing really. Bit further out of Queenstown, but has parking and they do have a shuttle service. Still a walkable distance even with a 5 and 7yo. Amazing views.
The lake view room offers a direct view of the lake. Although the view is somewhat narrow, it is still a genuine waterfront view and overall quite pleasant.
I was somewhat disappointed with my stay overall. The cleanliness of the room did not meet expectations. There were a few hair strands on the bed sheets, and the sheets appeared wrinkled, which made me question whether they had been properly changed. The washbasin also had visible stains. The breakfast experience was below expectations. Although breakfast was included and paid for both nights, I only chose to have it once, as the quality was not satisfactory enough for me to return the following morning. Service at the front desk felt quite impersonal. The staff were polite but not particularly welcoming, and there was a lack of warmth that would normally make guests feel comfortable or “at home.” Some basic information regarding facilities and check-in procedures also had to be requested rather than being proactively explained. Housekeeping could also be improved in terms of guest consideration. On one occasion, staff knocked and asked whether cleaning was required despite being aware that the room was occupied, which disturbed my rest. Overall, while the hotel has potential, my experience did not fully match the price level or expectations for this type of accommodation.
