The location was very good with a short walk to the Karon beach and convenience stores nearby. The staff was good and very responsive. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a huge variety of offerings including western options. The waffles were crispy and the pancakes were fluffy. They provide slippers, beach towels, a beach bag, umberellas and all for your comfort for the beach.

The walk to the breakfast room from our room was really long because we got a room in the back of the hotel. With kids it was a problem. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The sand from the beach was never cleaned. The room bathrooms were cleaned superficially and not deep cleaned enough. My room's attached bathroom had a the wash basin in the room. You had to walk out of the toilet, open the divider door, walk across the room to wash your hands. That was the worst part of my stay. No place to hang the towels and the floor was constantly wet because of it. The pool didnt feel too clear and the water was really cold.

Renovierung bei offener Balkontür. Wurde nach wiederholter Beschwerde geschlossen.

Lage war perfekt. Riesige und sehr bequeme Betten.

Klimaanlage Funktion war leider sehr schlecht. Deshalb mussten wir in andere Zimmer umziehen. Allerdings das gleiche Problem ist auch dort gewesen. Der Boden war Klitsche nass. Es war unglaubliches Ausrutschgefahr für die Kinder. Wenn wir morgen aufgewacht sind, waren alle Bettlaken und Gegenstände genauso wie Boden im Raum feucht oder nass. Außerdem war der Pool mit dem das Hotel so sehr beworben hat auf Reparatur geschlossen.

Although there is ongoing renovation in another building and the main swimming pool, it hasn’t disturbed my stay. La zona de piscina de niños fue lo mejor del hotel. Tambien que esta muy bien ubicado tienes todo cerca y la playa es a unos minutos caminando

La gentillesse du personnel, l’emplacement. La chambre spacieuse et les femmes de ménages qui nous changent les serviettes tous les jours plus l’eau gratuite. Plusieurs seven eleven à proximité. Le restaurant onion juste à côté.

La piscine présente des traces de moisissures. Des saletés sont restés plusieurs jours dans la piscine. Les transats sont moisis. La population Russe qui fait beaucoup de bruit et ne respecte pas les autres. La vue sur les fils d’électricité de notre chambre. L’hôtel est en travaux donc tous les après midis à la piscine beaucoup de bruit et juste derrière vu sur une décharge.

Pool and pool area use after dark needs to be controlled, too many groups drinking, noisey and swimming , something will happen and resort will be liable.

We loved staying here! The room was immaculate, the staff super helpful and friendly and even went out of their way to send me.back a charger I had left behind. The buffet breakfast was huge and varied daily all cooked fresh and tasty. Super close to the beach and patak road which has several resturants and things to do but dont look past the kiri restaurant which also does food for the pool bar at Sugar Art, food is well priced and delicious!

The overall stay was pleasant, however the property need more maintenance,; my bed mattress spring was detached, the showers tap control was hard and not able to control hand shower and rain shower. They did change the mattress and get the tap fixed after feedback. The sofa fabric and cuddling pillow is dirty, suggest to change materials.

The mosquitoes and Flies in the room and the building surroundings. Attention needed before guests fall sick.

Closeness to main street and beach

Stayed for 2.5weeks asked for wifi 6 times was only fixed 3 days before leaving in 2 rooms also work got done next to us for 3 days and no notice to say there would be loud banging and grinding

Posicao do quarto . Pedimos taxi para a recepcao no dia da partida ,porem quando chegou no aeroporto o motorista quis cobrar o dobro do valor acordado no hotel ,quem pediu o taxi foi a funcionaria do hotel Sugar Marina , pelo aplicativo Bolt do celular dela. O motorista disse que queria ver o valor no aplicativo expliquei que foi pedido no hotel e mostrei o print, mas nao aceitou e tive que pagar em dobro.

Le personnel n’aide absolument car un sac à dos de 10kg etait deja trop lourd pourtant j’en avais 3 sur moi avec mon enfant en plus. Ce qu’ils appellent kidclub n’est qu’une salle de jeu sans surveillance où ils acceptent dans leur règlement pris en photo de laisser un enfant seul de 4 ans sans surveillance .. Coin piscine dangereux car l’escalier du toboggan est non sécurisé et marches saillantes dans l'eau côté enfant. Pas de transat dès le matin car personne ne surveille et tout le monde pose sa serviette et part.. Chambre sale dès le premier jour. Salle de bain vraiment pas pratique et petite surtout avec des enfants, pas de pommeau de douche dans la baignoire.. comment se rincer ? Pas mal de chose à revoir mais surtout l'amabilité du responsable homme à l'accueil. Nous avons écourté notre séjour.

Det var dejligt at børn var tænkt på, der var et dejligt legerum og lege område ved poolen. Det var dejligt at der var pool adgang direkte fra vores værelse. Hotellet lå meget centralt og i nærheden af alting. En spytklat fra stranden. Rigtig dejligt pool område. God restaurant tilknyttet poolen, det smagte godt og var okay priser. God betjening ved poolen.

Der var enormt lyt, det føltes desværre ikke som at komme til Phuket da der simpelthen var så mange russere og de fik lov at opføre sig så egoistisk og hensynsløst. Jeg måtte en aften selv gå ud og bede en stor flok om at dæmpe sig fordi de råbte og skreg i lobbyen. De overholdte ingen regler og var generelt var en stor årsag til at vi havde en dårlig oplevelse på dette hotel. Dette hotel er også første gang vi har oplevet personalet være mindre imødekommende, men det er da til at forstå når de skal finde sig i sådanne slags turister. Vi er dog også skuffede over hotellets housekeeping da vi ikke en eneste dag ud af de 6, nåede at få rengjort vores værelse. Når vi kom op ved en 15-16 tiden, var det lige omkring der at det var vores tur. Vi måtte derfor bede om nye skraldeposer, toiletpapir og håndklæder alle dage. Et minus for os med et lille barn var også at poolen ikke havde et toilet i nærheden. Der skulle man over i den næste bygning.

The family room was lovely and huge! The kids loved their massive bunk beds and they came in handy for naps to get over jet lag :) The pool was great, nice for the kids to splash safely. Food was beautiful too, breakfast had lots of options.

Some of the rooms had balconys over the KIDS pool so were prone to the odd splash, my kids we're shoo'd away by other guests which was rude. Breakfast was great but a little chaotic given its not a big space for the amount of guests.

Avoid this hotel. It is NOT a 4☆ dirty hovel. The room stank of mould. We suspected was coming from the aircon. Our tiny balcony was facing a derelict building and our view was of the roof. Pool area dirty. The young girl who shows you to your room will stand by you and tell you to give a good review and she will do a screen shot. I didn't do one. Travellers are under pressure to give false reviews and are misleading future bookings. Absolutely vile accommodation. Possibly a 2☆ definitely NOT a 4☆ DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HOTEL!!!!

3. Blokta kaldık, deluxe odaydı. Oda da yataklar çok rahat, oda genişliği yeterliydi. Her gün temizlik vardı, gayet iyiydi. Temizlik istenildiği günler odaya 2 şişe su bırakılıyor. Çarşaflar ve havlular tertemizdi. İlk gün minibar ücretsiz. Camlardan içeri ses girmiyordu. Hemen sokağın başında Kiri restaurantta her şey vardı ve otel müşterilerine yuzde 10 indirim vardı. Havuzu hiç kullanmadık. Kahvaltısı gerçekten iyiydi. Ama otel kalabalık olduğu için her şey bitiyordu. En kısa sürede de tabakları yeniliyorlardı.

Gardrop yoktu, eşyalarımız ortada kaldı. Perdeler uzun zamandır yıkanmamıştı.

The location was good to the beach and the night life.

This is a very big hotel which has seperate blocks. We were taken to a block away from the main hotel reception. We were taken to our room by a young girl who walked us down a corridor which resembled a prison block. She asked us to fo a review for booking.com before we had even put our bags down. She said please do a good review and I will take a photo. I said that we had been travelling and we needed to sort our belongings out. So travellers are being asked to do reviews under pressure. The room absolutely stunk of mould which we think was coming from the aircon. Yuk Our balcony was tiny and was facing a wall and roof. The breakfast area was not organised properly. This hotel is most definitely NOT a 4 star. Possibly a 2. Yuk.

Russere der holdt fest om aftenen i poolen. Selvom den var lukket. Der var ingen fra hotellet der gjorde noget ved det. Det var stort set alle aftener/nætter vi var der. Tæpperne på værelserne var ulækre og blev ikke gjort ordentligt rent.

Room was great, excellent service in cleaning and keeping tidy. The main entrance was decorated very well - Christmas period! We went with breakfast inclusive - it was amazing. Best thing to do is to include it. The location is perfect, very close to Karon beach, and lots of shops to eat & everything. I was in two minds between Sugar - ART and Sugar - Pop, I think location for ART is definitely better.

The initial impression I had of the pools is that - there are many pools in the hotel - however there is only 1 pool - and mainly catered for kids. There is a slide in the pool which doesn't say 'for kids only' but I hurt my back using it, it would be really appreciative for families to know that adults shouldn't go in the pool slide.

Great value for money. Good breakfast

The reception was attentive. we like the lobby area at the annex building. Should improve the Toilet at lobby, very old and inadequate. Should have shower facilities for guests that checkout at 12pm, but depart late in evening, to enjoy and wash up.

The pool, kids room and beach bar areas were very nice although all could do with some maintenance.

Everything felt old and due for some maintenance. The buffet had a great selection of options but all felt low quality. The entrance feels more like a hostel than a hotel. We went at peak new year season so definitely didn’t feel like good value for money but that could have been just the prices at that time of year.

Семейные номера находятся в самом отдаленном корпусе. Туалет и душ в комнате отделены стеклянной дверью, что очень странно. Возможно такой дизайн, но нам пришлось вешать полотенца на двери, чтобы была хоть какая-то ширма. Раковина находится прямо в комнате, а не в туалете или ванной. Тоже странно. Видимо, название АРТ подразумевает такой дизайн

Jó helyen volt, finom volt a reggeli, a medence mellett nagyon hangulatos a bár rész (Lido).

Ár-érték arányban nagyon becsapva éreztük magunkat, ennél sokkal jobb helyek vannak ezen az áron. Zsúfolt, a fürdőszobában egy felül nyitott üvegajtó van csupán, így a pici szobában mindent hallani lehet ami a wc-n történik, zárni sem lehetett, nem túl romantikus. A medencét nem használtuk, nem túl gusztusos. Szilveszerre foglaltunk ide, mondván, hogy szép és igényes szálláson legyünk, de nem érte meg, a szálloda közönsége sem színvonalas, nyomulnak, tolonganak, prolik.

The kids enjoyed the pool very much. However the bubble jets were inconsistent.

I got the family room with pool access. Without much info on the website and Booking.com, the pool was "private" instead of the main pool.

Персонал очень дружелюбный. Старается помочь если есть какие-то вопросы. Убираются чисто, но не забывайте оставлять чаевые.

Столовая на такой большой отель маленькая. Сами завтраки достаточны, но трудно найти свободный столик. И еще к концу завтрака столы не успевают убрать и найти чистый столик проблематично.

Not by the beach

Sugar Marina was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in , it’s not a hotel in our opinion , more like a hostel . The toilets at reception were disgusting , everywhere was dark and dingy around reception . Reception told us we had been upgraded in our room , wow if that’s an upgrade then don’t bother . Shocking . Back to reception , please show is the room we should have had , a better room apart from our son had to sleep on a sofa , not a sofa bed . Breakfast was another experience I don’t want to repeat , dirty tables , food all over the floor , plates cracked and chipped . We checked out after one night , should have been there for 5 nights .

The staff did not put us in our booking Family room but instead we we given 2 deluxe room.. Also separated from our group. Not solving & helping Instead, telling us if not happy can refund & book other hotel. Not professional & rude. We had no choice but still hqve to stay cause of our holiday plan. Very disappointed. Paid expensive for room but getting rubbish service from this staff

Хорошие завтраки - фрукты, разнообразие, много блюд из яиц которые можно кастомизировать, кофе только не ок, но это стандартно для тая Хорошая территория - бассейны, зал, лобби, удобная локация, все прямо хорошо Хорошее отношение персонала и клининг - каждый день прибирались, в номер не есть все для пляжа и можно брать полотенца на пляж, каждый день водичка новая и полотенчики, удобная сушка, всегда чисто везде

Видео что уже подуставший, мебель, ванная, видал этот отельчик времена получше Отвратительный интернет, просто худшее что я видел в Тайланде, невозможно работать/итц - как обходной вариант, ubigi/esim - но для отеля не иметь нормального интернета в 2025 году какая то странноватая кринжовая история

Отзывчивый и приятный персонал, чистота и качество уборки, огромная кровать, качественное постельное белье и полотенца, наличие халатов, особенно порадовало наличие пляжных полотенец, рогожки для лежания и пляжной сумочки - очень удобно. Еще из плюсов близость к морю - практически первая линия

1) Завтрак оставляет желать лучшего (на мой вкус). Очень вкусная выпечка и фрукты, но остальные горячие блюда на линии были не вкусными, хотя видно, что они приготовлены из качественных продуктов. 2) немного депрессивный дизайн комнат (ну это опять же, вкусовщина)
