Fantastic place in a magical location. Lots of attention to detail - really nice thoughtful touches like the food and drink.

Very nice breakfast provision in the room. Cereal, fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, milk, 2 muffins, 2x bottles of orange juice. Perfect. The room was very clean. Shower excellent. Checking in process was smooth.

Bed was a bit squeaky when turning around but comfortable.

Spacious, room had a settee as well as a table and chair. It was light. Big bathroom with bath as well as walk in shower. Fridge. Lots of places to eat or shop nearby.

No parking on site but the carpark to use is opposite next to the Co-Op. Wouldn’t be good if stairs are a problem for you.

My room, Sorrel, was full of character with its stain glass window and the coffee and continental breakfast was wonderful.

Mainly that I couldn't open any window or skylight and it was exceptionally hot, but thankfully a fan was provided. I couldn't open any also have done with a shelf in the bathroom for all my toiletries or a hook on the back of the food from which to hang my washbag. I also had to keep my kettle on the floor as every time I lifted it up the base fell down behind the fridge - not a big problem though.

The bed although very large wa a little uncomfortable due to feeling the springs and also hearing them when lying down, didn't realise ther would be stairs outside which made it difficult for us as pensioners, but all in all comfortable room, pub across the road little noisy in the evening.p

On a stayover as on way to Cornwall and what a fantastic place to do it. Such a classy, cosy, quirky room and place. Nailsworth itself is such a beautiful town. Loved our stay! Simply top of the pops!

Great location - a little strange to enter via lots of steps…it didn’t bother me, as I’m very fit at 69, but my Colleague has MS, so it wasn’t a great surprise. I think that needs to be said. Comfortable Bed and good shower! Yoghurt was dairy, even though I’d asked for dairy-free. But you found this for the 2nd morning. I’m used to a big Breakfast, so that was just a starter! We went to the Cafe opposite for more.

The fresh coffee rather than instant was very welcome, including some decaf for night. The breakfast was delivered and kept in the fridge which was great for a quick start. We liked the ordering system for replacing the items you wanted the next day. The bathroom and decor were nicely thought through.

The mattress was not great, could do with an upgrade.

It looked as if some time and effort had been put into the general appearance of the room.

It was a health and safety nightmare. The external approach was steep, unpleasant stairs outside the back of the building. There was no warning of this or check on our mobility in advance. The family room (we had not requested this and were expecting a nicer room for 2 adults) was unsafe for various reasons: *nail sticking up from the bathroom floor, bath difficult to get in and out of no handrails, no non slip bath mat, needed to be an athlete to use it. *fridge in a sloping cupboard so it slid alarming out of this when the door was opened, showering contents *breakfast area so small we had to eat breakfast in bed *WiFi and TV reception poor and intermittent I think that's enough. We won't use this hotel again

Lots of stairs

A basic breakfast was supplied , cereal ,granola, yogurt,juice ,tea coffee. Shower was good. A nice cooling fan. Nice toiletries . Good towels. Mini fridge. Plus water supplied. Location was first class for the centre of Nailsworth. Plenty of choices to eat in the evening. Hat breakfast at a lovely place called the canteen.

Only small find was no place in en-suite for toiletries

The room was beautiful

It was a tastefully and modern decorated room and en-suite with everything you could possibly need. The buffet breakfast they left for us was perfect with cereals, yoghurt, fruit, coffee and tea, and they even provided gluten free alternatives. It was an extremely hot couple of days but the fan they provided was very efficient and we slept well in the very comfortable double bed.

Dirty and stains on most of carpets, dust on window sills and bits on floor. T.v can’t use all channels and wires on show everywhere. Loud from downstairs under window until after midnight.

The room was great, with a fabulous view. Breakfast and all the facilities were amazing.

Great location in the center of town. Easy to check in as they give you a door code to let yourself in. Yummy breakfast with a good selection of items left in the room, including fresh muffins! A lovely clean room with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. I'd stay here again as Nailsworth is a lovely town.

The room was lovely. It was clean, comfy and spacious! Loved that there was breakfast included, great variety.

Broken sleep mainly because of the loud creak of the floor boards from loud neighbours who continuously walked up and down the hall where the floorboard kept creaking and could hear them through the walls unfortunately. Could also hear the people walking around directly above. I would have also liked a lock inside the room for safety, whilst I know it's pretty safe, I would have just preferred to lock inside the room.

The room was large, clean and had a nice view from the window. The continental breakfast was very nice.

Access to the rooms was via the fire escape stairs at the rear of the building which is not good for disabled guests. The bed was uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise from the other guests

Lovely breakfast and bonus of fresh milk. For tea coffee and cereal. We didn’t make full use of this as we were up early each day for the badminton horse trials. Lovely place to stay and not to far from the horse trials.

Great location in the centre of Nailsworth, with shops and cafes on hand, including a lovely cafe opposite the accommodation. Room was comfortable, with good seating for relaxing after our walks. Breakfast items were good - cereal, home-made granola, fruit, yogurt and muffins. There's great walking from the location, without the need to drive, but also plenty to see and do in the surrounding area if feeling less energetic. We'd stay again if visiting the area.

Great place to stay, super clean and lovely to have key things such as water, tea provided for me. Breakfast in the fridge was lovely, very easy instructions to check in and how to find it. Plenty of parking for over night stay. Would highly recommend.

The location is excellent. Decent size comfortable room, with a nice comfortable bed. Warm and cozy. The condiments, nice breakfast items in the fridge all of a high quality. We also got this for a fantastic price.

Our room had some basic, but easily fixable annoying faults. The lights, in the living room/ couch side of room, wall mounted weren’t working. Making the room quite dark at that side. I discovered in the morning, after leaving the switch on for a few minutes, that the lights were flickering. It’s a wiring, loose connection fault that could easily be fixed. That goes for 2 other annoying faults. When you turned the shower on, the shower head spun round and soaked you. A new cheap shower rail would fix that. Finally, the front door, the main access door was jamming at the bottom when entering the building. You had to give it a good hard shove, shoulder charge or a kick. This warping, and sticking door has probably been caused by a long period of bad weather, with a blocked or leaking gutter. Again, it’s an easy cheap fix. Not the best for sound proofing either. But the 3 faults easily fixable, though annoying, would not put me off booking, or staying again.

Lovely granola breakfast with yoghurt, chilled orange juice and coffee, all available in the room. Very convenient for us in the centre of Nailsworth.

Michael was very helpful and did his best to rearrange us after Booking com messed up the reservation. Very clean rooms, nice towels and bedding. Very clean.

Booking.com mixed up the booking and despite confirming a twin bedded room, requested a double bed when sending through the details to Wild Garlic Rooms. We are two friends and do not share beds. Michael managed to change us to a family room and I had to sleep in a child's room with bunk beds. Michael was very helpful, but the mistake was Booking.com. Not happy with them!

Location was great. It was clean, and simple to access.

Could do with a bigger fan in the room (it was super hot when we stayed). Admittedly, that is more of a convenience than something we ‘didn’t like’. We loved it all.

Good location and quiet at night. Very warm property we did turn the heating off as very warm being right at the top.

The stairs are a bit high and slippery when wet and in cold weather. The room needed to have a good deep clean, lots of cobwebs and spiders in corners of room and bathroom.

The breakfast provided in the fridge was lovely . Delicious freshly squeezed orange juice , muffins , fresh milk . Lots of teas and special cafetière coffee. The housekeeping service was very efficient , responding straight away to a request we had and leaving us a wee note. The location is ideal right in the middle of Nailsworth.

The Wi-Fi was a bit erratic. The code provided was different on the sheet to the one on the ‘ picture frame’ . We were only in the room at night time and early morning , as we were spending time with family who live in Nailsworth but haven’t got a spare room at the moment!
