Lynton House

Met at the door with freindly welcome. Our bags were taken to our room and shown the main Lounge and Dinning room. Provided with keys to the room and front door. The breakfast menu was excellent, presented and cooked and very much enjoyed.

I would have liked the weather to have been a little better hence we did spend quite a bit of time in the room watching TV, but did relax.

Everything was perfect , proximity to the town , room with en- suite bathroom immaculate, fantastic breakfast, great host and the two young girl who helped serve the breakfasts where lovely .

The pillow was slightly higher and firmer than what I’m used to , but that’s my personal choice.

Well presented guest house. Home from home, clean room, lots of space in the room, nice facilities, comfy bed, great night sleep each night. Sheridan and Mark were outstanding they’re so welcoming always had a smile on their faces.

Front windows could have been insulated slightly more in bedroom as there was some noise that passed through from the road

Mark and Sheridan were very helpful and friendly . The location was within easy walking distance to town and the sea front. Room was excellent, bed very comfortable. Ensuite shower room was perfect for us . Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.self service for fruits , cereals etc but table service for main .

We were pleasantly surprised with location and the whole hotel. Beautiful staff and the decor is fantastic. We were also surprised when we got to our room as it was a mini suite. Overall 100%

The room was lovely and clean, comfy bed, good shower. Breakfast was really good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in. Location is great - a minutes walk to the beach.

We've just had a lovely 2 night stay at Lynton House b&b. Lynton House is in a fantastic location, with everything on the doorstep, for a perfect few days to enjoy Llandudno. Everything was faultless from start to finish. We were very happy with our "small double" room - the space was very nicely decorated, well planned out and spotlessly clean, with every detail covered. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, making us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. The breakfast menu was of an excellent quality and choices available - the cooked breakfast was superb (I don't usually choose the cooked breakfast option, but it was so delicious, I chose that on both mornings). Thank you for a lovely stay and we hope to stay again soon!

Breakfast was amazing in quality and choice, mark and Sheridan and daughter are excellent hosts and you can tell that they have regulars which we hope to be as well .

The shower in the bath room was not very powerful and if you have large vehicle parking is a bit tight however we soon found a place to park so there was no real dramas with it

As the name Lynton House implies, rather than being a standalone grand hotel, it is a terraced house in the middle of a row of similar houses along Church Walks. This information should help you find it on your first visit - the Lynton House sign is quite small, accordingly. But apart from the less than grand look, Lynton House has several outstanding virtues. First, the location is brilliant. You can unload your luggage in front of the house and then try to park in the little car park at the back of the house by turning right and then right again. I parked there on the first night but after walking to the top of Snowdon on the second day, it was full. But no panic because I quickly found a parking place along the road uphill on the left from the car park, even though the road on the right had no vacant space. From the house, you can easily walk to the pier and the beach and the restaurants and the shops. But I was so happy when my wife found that the starting point of the UK's "longest" passenger cable car system was just on the mountain behind the house - maybe a five minute walk. It was the first time in my life that I got into a cable car between mountain peaks. And what a view from there! We walked downhill to enjoy a different view of the beautiful surrounding area, and it took about half an hour to get back to the house. Second, the facilities in the room are very good. By that I mean that the carpet and bathroom floor is clean, that the furniture, such as the bedside table, is of good quality, and that the toilet, the wash basin, and the shower are all in very good working condition - I particularly liked the powerful water from the shower. Third, the service from the staff is excellent. I was looked after by the host lady the moment I arrived at the front of the house because she was watching me from the restaurant opposite the house - she was having her lunch there. Car parking was a big issue there are 4 spaces allocated for Lynton house at the back which aren't easy to park in especially 2 of them and parking nearby is also difficult to find a space as of the ideal location being very busy but don't let this put you off staying.The positives of the guest house are well worth this issue.

The property was in a great location yards from the promenade. The place was beautifully decorated and spotless. The relaxing lounge with an honesty box for drinks is a great idea. The breakfast was top notch.

As with the majority of hotels in Llandudno, parking can be an issue, there are a couple of spaces behind the hotel

We had an excellent stay . At fear of sounding like a moaning old git,I would have liked a slightly softer light in the room but that's me desperately seeking the slightest fault. The owners the staff the comfort the cleanliness the location were allabsolute spot on and we will stay here again in the future..

A perfect stay! 5 Stars not 4! This is a lovely hotel, in great location, all provided by the friendly owners and staff who care about the place and your stay. The rooms are immaculate with a luxurious feel and the home cooked food spot on! Don’t hesitate to book, you will be well looked after. There is also a fab little honesty bar open all hours!

There is a small free car park at the rear of the hotel, otherwise you can always find on street parking. I didn’t have a problem.

Cannot fault Lynton House. So easy to locate and lovely location a stones throw from the beach and pier. Lovely warm welcome and room was ready as soon as we arrived. Clean room and bathroom, no noise issues, comfy bed. Fantastic cooked breakfasts both mornings. 100% recommend trying their eggs benedict. Parking really isn't an issue.. if you aren't lucky enough to get a space in their small car park, the road just behind (Hill Terrace) has ample roadside parking.

The location was perfect close to the shops and attractions. The room was nice and had a really nice breakfast. Everything thing that we needed was in the room even a fan.

The parking ent brilliant, I did manage to get a space fairly close but being a bank holiday weekend spaces were a few that were free to park. But the carpark where you have to pay was only £5.75 for the day. So not to bad.

We had a cooked breakfast which was delicious, are room was very comfortable and clean, the location of the guest house was ideal, this is a family run guest house it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, we were recommended the Queen Victoria for our evening meal and it was well worth it. We would definitely stay there again and it’s a definite 10 out of 10 from the both of us.

Parking is an issue but if you get there early you could catch someone leaving.

Beautiful hotel which is spotlessly clean with very comfortable king size bed. We stayed in room 3 with a lovely side view of the sea. Breakfast was very tasty & a good choice was offered. I had the Lynton House grill breakfast & my husband had the vegetarian option which set us up for the day exploring. Sheridan was very welcoming & we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. It is beautifully decorated & the lounge area is an added bonus which was very calming & relaxing.

We have no negative comments about Lynton House.

Sheridan and Mark are brilliant hosts, nothing is too much trouble, a B&B with flexibility and a home from home.

Lovely accommodation, everything clean and spotless. Toiletries provided plus tea and coffee. Although ensuite shower and toilet were compact perfectly OK. Breakfast superb large choice of either hot or continental tea and coffee in abundance. Sheridan and the girls front of house were professional and efficient. Really made you feel welcome

The only draw back was lack of parking nearby, not the hosts fault but still somewhat annoying.

Breakfast was exceptional and the location of our accommodation was very good.

We didn’t like the rain , but we don’t have a say in that.
