. My stay at this beautiful hotel with my family of four for Umrah was truly wonderful in many ways. Its proximity to the Haram, with shuttle buses running every 10 minutes and reaching the Haram only taking 3 minutes, was a major plus. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean, and the restaurant offered a variety of dishes. Most importantly, the reception staff were fantastic, providing excellent service with a warm smile and prayers, making you feel like you were part of the family. I would like to thank all the staff, especially Wahbi, Amer, Mu'taz, and Abdul Latif. The three nights I spent in Mecca performing Umrah were filled with energy and vitality, making me feel completely at home.
Aite, let’s get right down to it. Pros: - Rooms are spacious, comfortable & clean. - Shopping inside the hotel (on M floor) is good & super cheap. - Good eating & drinking options inside the hotel. - Buses to the Haram are right outside the hotel - very easy access. Take you thru a tunnel exclusively reserved for the hotel shuttles. A very short ride to the Haram outskirts. Cons: - Breakfast had a decent variety, but personally I did not like it much. Caters more to Arab taste and desi taste. Less of Continental taste. Bakery section & beverages section were good tho. - Adhaan cannot be heard inside the hotel room. - After being dropped off by the shuttle, it is still a long walk to the Haram courtyard, let alone the Kaba. - On Fridays, shuttles stop operating after 9am! So you are stuck. Either u walk, or u go early and wait for the Friday prayers. Or get a taxi which is apparently expensive during those hours. Conclusion: I have stayed at Jabal Omar in the past, and think that is better location-wise. If u can afford it, go for that. For the price, Le Méridien Towers is a decent option if u don’t mind walking more.
The shuttle bus is amazing
Hotels.com UK has done us over by not providing the correct information which has led to a chaotic situation. However hotel staff members and front desk were incredibly helpful and very understanding and accommodating, they handled this professionally and made sure everything is resolved and our stay is comfortable. Room is nice and services are great, price is excellent for what you get. Definitely 10/10 for the property but 3/10 for Hotels.com UK for messing us around!!
One of the best hotel in mecca, best hospitality, best service, and the employess and management hotels so kindness, in the room all facilities complete and very clean, has facilities 5 times to haram by buses less 2 minutes, i very like these hotel and i hope can back soon 😊 Thank you for your hospilaty
One of best locations for proximity to holy Masjid 2 minutes by shuttle bus service 24 hrs, facility and rooms are clean.
This hotel offers a good balance between price and service. The food is suitable for Southeast Asian tastes, and most importantly, there's a shuttle bus every 15 minutes that takes you directly to the tunnel leading to Masjidil Haram. This makes worship more comfortable and facilitates easy back-and-forth travel between the hotel and Masjidil Haram.
This is one of the properties in Makkah that will make you come back again with confidence. I spent 3 days in the last week of Jan 2025 and from the time I stepped in till I left the hotel, every service was at top level. Starting from Reception, Room Service, Restaurant, Concierge and Guest Services...the team is GREAT. Big "THANK YOU" to all staff, the hotel cleanness, prompt response and the will to make your stay AMAZING is quite EXCEPTIONAL. I only wish that the transportation service to/from Haram improves a bit, I know it's imposed by the Saudi authorities. I would definitely come back and recommend you do so too.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the buffet breakfast changes regularly and is full of variety. The staff are very courteous and proactive, especially Miss Wujdan. Even though we spoke on the reception phone late in the evening, she was very understanding and went over and above to make sure our stay was comfortable and make us feel welcome. True hospitality.
1) We reserved 3 Executive Suites paying $218.00 for each room. We reserved for 2 guests per room, for total 6 guests. Later while we checked in last night, the hotel didn't have rooms in the same tower. So instead, they promised us 2 Royal Suites. But when they actually gave us they gave us one Royal (Suite 1411) & one Executive (Suite 1708). They reneged on the promise. This is cheating. 2) Later after we checked in we added another person, & paid for the other person another 100 Riyals. This morning they didn't allow the 7th guest for bathroom. We had to pay an additional 50 Riyal for the guest for breakfast. This is Fraud. 3) Bathroom/Toilet in Room 1411 was flooded last night, they came and fixed but didn't resolve. This morning it was flooded too. 4) Keys for the Room 1708 never worked. We went to reception 4 times to make the keys but still don't work. We would like to change the rooms immediately to 3 Executive Rooms. This hotel is fraudulent & very inefficient. Never we will stay here again & will not recommend this to anyone again.
Nice staff
Very good
Very spacious, newly renovated with clean carpets, included kitchen with microwave and living area.
Good hotel and very decently priced. Not the best location as you need to take a shuttle to the Haram. There are many though, but it is still an inconvenience. Most days they didn't put enough towels in the room. There is also literally nothing close by, within walking distance. To even go to a supermarket meant a trip on the shuttle.
Yes it was quite comfortable living and it's arrangements for busses was excellent. It's breakfast was meeting all my and my family requirements. One thing that annoyed me is that they did not provide locker in the room otherwise hotel room and ambiance was comparable with other star hotels in Macca.
The hype created for this hotel is much more but the real experience is that they are just average hotels. Families who have experienced nearby hotels near masjid ul haram are requested not to indulge in that hype.. Because reaching to that hotel after ever prayer and then get back to Masjid from that hotel is such a hassle...
We had the privilege of staying in the Royal Suite for 10 days, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional experience we had. By the grace of Allah, this is the first five-star hotel I can truly describe as offering complete value for money….The shuttle service to Haram was phenomenal—undoubtedly one of the best in Makkah, in my humble opinion. We opted for the Indian full-board meal plan; while the variety was modest, the quality and taste were exceptional, Alhamdulillah. The hotel also features a well-equipped market where we found everything we needed—medicines, food items, a hair salon (better priced than the Clock Tower ones), and even clothing essentials like Ihram, all at competitive prices….For Ziyarah or visiting Masjid Aisha for Umrah, drivers are conveniently available outside the hotel 24/7…May Allah bless this establishment and its staff. God willing, I look forward to returning in the future, In Sha Allah. A truly remarkable and memorable experience—keep up the excellent work!
Review: Pros: The hotel offers a convenient 24/7 shuttle service to Haram, which is a major advantage for guests. Cons: Room Service: Housekeeping is quite limited. During our 6-night stay, room service was provided only twice, and only after multiple calls to the reception. Even then, the quality of cleaning was below expectations. Amenities: The facilities do not meet the standards of a 5-star property. Based on our experience, these towers seem more like a 3-star hotel, merely leveraging the Le Meridien (Bonvoy) brand name. Staff: The attitude of the reception staff, especially local employees, was disappointing. They were often rude and lacked fluency in English, which is critical given that the majority of guests are non-Arabic speakers. Room Access Issues: The key cards frequently malfunctioned, particularly in Tower 8 on the 11th floor. This required multiple trips to the reception in Tower 5 to get the issue resolved, as there was no assistance from room service or staff. Guests are left to handle such problems on their own. Room Lighting: The room had only two small ceiling lights positioned at the top of the glass window. To compensate for this, five different lamps were provided, but the room still felt quite dim. When traveling with a child, we prefer a well-lit room, and this was a major drawback. This property needs significant improvements in service quality, staff training, lighting, and overall amenities to justify its branding and star rating.
Supportive staff multiple choice in breakfast Shuttle services superb with no disruption. Will book next time. Obaid very helpful in restaurant.
A good experience for a five-star hotel and at a good price. It is worth trying again. As for the restaurant, it was okay and the room was good. As for the reception, it was smooth and the treatment was good. I hope to repeat the experience again..
Everything was good, excellent from the start to the finished. i have no problem at all. Food are excellent, room are nice and spacious, services are good. And also the location and sbutyle service also excellent. GOod job . For sure will be back
the food is very delicious, Indonesian people really like the taste of the food. the rooms are also very comfortable, spacious and clean. Many sell in the hotel lobby, making it easier for the congregation to shop outside. It was very enjoyable staying there, I hope to be able to perform Umrah and stay there again
Excellent , big , clean room ,there are also available suite room with small pantry , modern design ,big musholla for shalat , big restaurant , with many various of delicious Food, bubur kacang ijo is The spesial one i like it so much , The hotel also very near to haram , with shuttle bus 24 hours from hotel to haram , return ,its so easy to catch haram by hotel bus
One of the best customer services hotel I have ever visited. Very happy to help accomdate last minute stay and not only did they upgrade our room once they upgraded us twice so that we may experience Masjid Al Haram view for our last night which made my parents happy in a way I cannot explain. Good was great, people that clean your room are more than happy to help you regarding any questions that you may have. Also provided my dad a wheelchair to allow him to access Makka easier
Le Méridien Towers Makkah offers a balance of luxury, convenience, and tranquility, ideal for pilgrims looking for a comfortable stay with all essential services at hand. Frequency of the shuttle service is well maintained balancing the crowd to and from Haram. .I always look forward to stay at the hotel as it’s very near the Al haram and bus service is very freaquent and around the clock 24 hours a day and literally 2 mins from the basement of the clock tower, and same on return The food is excellent as there are 3 restaurants and 8 towers in the whole hotel with travellers from all over the world attending and residing here My humble and polite request to anyone reading my review is this hotel is not to be missed at all, as it’s so financially efficient and very near to Al haram.
In the recent past I have stayed only in close hotels to the Haram, but wanted to try one of the hotels with a shuttle, as they are cheaper during Ramadan and other peak times. I stayed one night in LeMeridien Towers Makkah and found it really helpful. The shuttle was very convenient, as it was only 1 bus, instead of having to change multiple buses (unlike other hotels that I tried). Also, the manager Sayed Mohammad Danish, really went out of his away to ensure that I was refunded my money for staying over 2 hours and that everything was taken care of. I would certainly stay in this hotel if I went in Ramadan (IA), if there is availability.
We are from Hejira Travel, Malaysia very satisfied with the service given to us. Good hotel with free shutter bus and the room is very comfortable. Room is very big and always keep clean. Thanks to Mr Ghofran, sales department always serve us with good service and treat customers very good. Anyways, we will keep on business with the hotel.
Overall good value for money. Spacious rooms. Can do a little better on house keeping side. Good staff specially Mr. Danish and Mr. Waleed at bell desk were very courteous and professional.
It was very good stay, my family and I enjoyed it
Excellent séjour dans une suite exécutive N 1301 très fonctionnelle. Service de navette top ! Bravo!
We booked a royal suite. The actual accommodation was different than what was shown in the photos on expedia. The room was smelling bad when we checked in. The fittings inside needed a good repair. The carpet was dirty as well. One of the showers was broken, about which we complained but it was never attended to. I will not rate it really bad, rather would say it was an average stay. However, full credit to their shuttle service which never disappointed us.
Near haram
The shuttle bus to the hotel was more than perfect around the clock and the destinations was not so far about 5 minutes away from the Haram staff are happy to serve all clients with care and love
Access ro Haram. Dining and clean rooms. Good service
Keep up the good work
I've stayed many times before at this propriety. Even during Ramadan. As always, i would say it's Money Well Spent. The shuttle service to Haram is unbeatable. 3 Minutes ride only and 24/H service. No one could beat that. The rooms are comfortable and clean. But the highlight that i noticed this last visit, is how everyone is striving and even competing to present you with the best service possible. It's unbelievable how everyone from the Room Service that checks on us all the time to ensure that we're not missing anything, and they're ready to do your room any time, to the crew in charge of the breakfast. Especially at the Khaleeji ( Gulf ) Restaurant. While, the breakfast could definitely be better and perhaps this is one thing that hasn't changed or improved much in years. However, it's really not much compared to the welcoming smiles that you get and the immediate attention from the minute you step in to the restaurant. I would like to mention Mr. Saud Syed Kareem. He's very welcoming and always makes sure to go above and beyond for our comfort and with all the guests. Thank you Sir. Overall, i will highly recommend Le Meridien Towers. And, i can't wait to go back.
This is my third time staying in this hotel in the last 18 months. The best thing about this hotel is the shuttle to the Haram (literally outside), it takes less than 2 minutes to get to the clock tower from the hotel. The shuttle is around every 10 minutes (it's frequent). The housekeeping has improved however the check-in needs to be improved a lot particularly the staff, it's like some of them don't know what they're doing and were employed for the sake of it. They need to be trained better and provide better customer service as this affects your mood about the hotel.
The best thing about the hotel is the shuttle to the Haram which takes 2 minutes. The customer service needs to improve and staff need to be trained in it, it seems some people are employed for the sake of it.
It’s not 5 star..but good for the price..the lobby where they have the coaches (waiting areas) need to be more clean and to much flies around.. Room are decent/air conditioner need new thermostat won’t work only on one speed .. The best thing I like about this hotel is the transportation from and to the haram masjid ..
Perfect for Umrah pilgrims with reasonable price. Special thanks to Bell Boy Shafi from Burma.
Prompt response and good meal
Nice mee our accommodation requirements. Shuttle service to Haram was fantastic. Fellow shuttle service users need to learn to Queue
The service was terrible and this is not a 5* hotel
I would come back to this property without hesitation.
The staff is very rude. Their behaviour is very bad. Besides, they torture even though the payment is done in advance. I hate the property.
Check-in is very slow and complex, with long queues forming as a result. Must have the booking reference ready. My booking could not be found, even with the reference number, as 'the system is updated only once a day'. Kept me waiting over 30 minutes for someone to check the booking, which was eventually found. The management need to improve their check-in process. The staff work hard and do their best
The bus shuttles make it very close to haram
It was a beautiful hotel
Bus shuttles were very easy to take and accessible at all times. Property was very clean, staff were very helpful and friendly. I checked in within minutes and same with checking out. Highly recommended
The suite with kitchenette was very useful during our stay in Ramadan as we could just heat up our food. The reception and room service staff were friendly and accommodating. The free shuttle service to Haram was excellent which took few minutes and made the whole trip comfortable and easy. Jazakallah Meridian!
All is well i was staying more then 10yrs
Apparts are not clean, carpets, table and counter, rest rooms moldy, carpet dirty and dusty
It was OK overall. The only drawback is the huge number of guests which made it difficult sometimes for the staff to do their duties perfectly. The breakfast wav varied and satisfying. It’s a nice place anyway.
I loved the frequencies of shuttle services (24 hrs) to the Masjid al-Haram (the Great Mosque of Makkah).and the drop off and pick up location. One can easily find the way without getting lost. This was/is an A service. It takes less than 4 minutes to get there by the shuttle and 5 minutes walk to the Kaa'ba. What I didn't not like was that, the hotel does not have any newer plug points ( Electrical outlets) to plug in the USB for phone charging like all hotels do these days in the rooms. That's very old fashion and INCONVENIENCE!!! So be prepared if you are staying here. Apart from that, I would say, it served my purpose and I am happy for what I got for the price I paid. The rooms have a safe, small refrigerator and a kitchenette (no stove or microwave). It comes in handy if you are staying for few days to store fruits and non perishable food. I would recommend this hotel if you are not a picky person.
The guys at the reception checking us in and out were amazing
The hotel was very close to Haram. the bus hotel bus to transfer is amazing and runs nearly every 5-10 minutes. the room was clean and spacious
Perfect place and close to masjid
Initially our stay at Tower 5 room was good but no view. We booked for City View and when we requested for city view room, we were given Room at Tower 8, which had several issues. It wasn't clean, overused furniture, bathroom was clogged water. Breakfast was good. Reception staff not experienced. Shuttle service is good.
Friend of mine and I stayed 7 nights at le méridien towers Makkah . The check in was smooth they even upgraded our room to a one bedroom apartment . Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is huge and very busy but still the lifts are always available. The hotel has 3 restaurants, mini supermarket and few perfume and clothing shops . They provide buses to take us to the Haram the journey only takes between 80 and 120 seconds They were so many buses we hardly had to wait for one to get to the Haram . On our way back you might have to wait few minutes to get into the bus . But overall it’s very smooth and convenient. We were very happy with our stay Ahmed Shakir one of the directors was very friendly and welcoming and he was happy to assist . I strongly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again if I get a chance to preform another umra insha’Allah.
This is a run down property with dirty.bed sheets, no iron.board, un responsive reception and broken furniture. The only good thing about this hotel is the shuttle bus to haram is really good. So if you just want a place.to crash and go.to the mosque .Fine, otherwise stay away !!
The room is not good,
Not so good. The hotel condition is very disappointing. This facility should not be under Le Merdian. The parking of this hotel is scary.
Erevy things was perfect الفندق ممتاز وقريب جداً من مواقف كدي
My stay was really great the bus service to Haram was excellent every 10 minutes bus driver was friendly and lady at switchboard helpful. Also allowed us to check out later
Every thing ok we have no problem people nice good customer service
Manager was good and upgrade my room to suite because had to wait for 3 hr to check in
ممتاز ويوجد باصات تنزل تحت برج الساعة لا يوجد ماء لا يوجد متاجر قريبه حجزت غرفه عاديهً مجانيه من الجوائز لتطبيق هوتيل عطوني سويًا شكرا لكم
The cleanliness was good. You may consider below points 1. To avoid inconvenience, if your driving to the hotel then rather listening to the guards to "head to the parking lot" just find a parking in front of the main reception and after finishing the check-in process ask for parking coupon and then head to the parking lot. I followed the guard's instructions and headed to the parking lot where the security didn't allow me to enter unless I show him the parking coupon. After driving for 12 hours I had to leave my kids and family alone in the car at 2 AM in the morning, it took the guys at reception almost half an hour to allot me rooms and issue the parking coupon. 2. The main reception is not visible and located at building # 5. 3. There is no grocery nearby so arrive prepared. 4. If you have a 7 seater, please try to avoid the hotel parking lot. it's too difficult to steer 7 seaters in that parking lot. Better you use the free parking space across the main road.
Longer check in
The service is poor, no teeth brush, no slippers, i had to order some stuff and the service take a while to make it.the good thing is they offset me by another room because I ordered a Mountain View room but they didn't have that, so they give me bigger room.
It is an amazing hotel with great friendly staff who did everything in their power to make me feel welcome. I arrived at 6:00 am and they still honored my previous day reservation and allowed me 4:30 hours or late check out. You can't find a better customer service than this anywhere and I am a world traveler. As for the hotel it is a 5 star with all new amenities and they offered me free par6as well. Rooms are roomy with very comfortable beds and full kitchen as well Thanks from the bottom of my heart for a great experience. I will definitely bring my family on a future visit and stay at your lovely hotel
Too dar from shops especially eateries, transportation was good
No convenience store, eateries around, the one in the hotel are quite expensive
As bonboy Marriott silver member .. Meridien towers is one of the most disappointing experience I had . - staff on check in are arrogant and does not smile or respond so shortly to questions that you need to ask again. - for dinner ( that was part of my package ) I was denied to enter the restaurant until I go downstairs and ask for a restaurant access voucher ( why the front desk employee did not give it to me on check in .. when I confirmed with him the package ! It was humiliating to get denied access to restaurant ! And waste of time ! - room is so dirty.. the shower curtain is so messy and much longer than right design ( safety issue ) - fire alarm bell is broken and works spontaneously in night ! And shut down on its own - very dirty fungus or parasite grows on the edge of the wash sink ( I have the picture ) - the room is supposed to be a studio ( meaning I was expecting at least to have a plate , glass or cup to make team and at least a tea spoon - not available - wall frames are messy and dusty which indicates not a supervisor visited the room in a while ! - towels have bad smell .. I have to use my own - concierge , bell persons are more than excellent and supportive - the ad on Expedia indicate that there is 24/7 shuttle to the grand mosque .. which was proven to be the normal public transportation of the city and hotel paid us the ticket . I will never recommend it !
Shuttle service, good rooms n very clean. Rooms are big!
Everything was perfect in this hotel, nice and 24hr available shuttle to haram
the hotel very comfortable. Good shuttle service to Haram Only drawback no restaurant for food nearby . Value for money
Everything was satisfactoryly good. Enjoyed my stay very much
Very nice location, with 5 min bus ride to Haram. 24 hours bus service.
Very very poor service, no WiFi no body speaks English
I am staying in this hotel many times but to preference of this hotel is its location near to haram and contiouns bus service thats it.remaining every thing is normal not in good condition. Also breakfast is not included in room rent.
Security And help disk most off them mean face no respect they need to be train aging
The room wasn't clean and the bed sheet wasn't clean. The floor was sticky and unclean. Our booking was for city view but it was wall view, and no sun enters the room. We booked free wired internet but they told us it is with extra fees. We checked up early and pay extra 50 SR. We waited half hour for the shuttle then we took a taxi. The reception wasn't helpful, and the place full of flies. The light was very pale. The only good thing was the microwave. The fridge was leaking water and spoiled our food.
Nice hotel with excellent shuttle service to the Haram. Breakfast was okay,
I enjoyed my stay and best thing about this hotel was the shuttle service to the Haram. It took 2 minuets to the Haram and 3 minuets back to the hotel.
Hotel is very good but Room service bad also Expedia make deal with bf but when I check in they told without breakfast .
Poor customer relations,my shoes were stolen inside the hotel room. Frontdesk very rude. Cleaner don’t come till midnight
The tower as I know has been built not so long but already furniture are seemed worn out and old. I booked a room supposed with King bed but instead we received a room with two single beds were attached together. Worst is that the room, which I guess is the carpet is smelly. It badly needs maintenance and upgrade the hygiene. It should be comfortable mostly for the pilgrims who are staying in the hotel. And there was no wifi at the time we came, tho we didn't mine as it was just for a day. Buses are available all the time that are accessible for the guests anytime they'd like to go to Masjid Al Haram. That was the best part so far. Other than than, the management needs to take a look seriously on this laxity.
Received a free upgrade as well! The room was excellent. During Ramadan, the shuttle was always ready to transport us to the haram, very convenient and hassle free.
If this was my hotel the reception staff need shooting , Common curtesy, common sense, politeness, all all the rest of it went out of the window, these people must have been born brain dead, when they were handing out brains they left theses people out, how spg allows their name to get rubbished like this god know why, I am a spg gold member I am appalled at the service and communication skill possessed by reception they do not want to know, most of the people coming here will not complain because of the mosque but I am sorry I had to say what I had to say Thank you
Very disappointed... broken shower... dirty carpet... no tissue boxes or slippers...NO HOT WATER JUST LUKE WARM!
Le’ Meridien was a fantastic hotel to stay. The location is superb with free and frequent shuttle bus. The staff are friendly and wonderful. The food was good. We will stay at the hotel again.
Overall good experience- room service was a bit lowsy to repond but apart from that very good hotel and they provided us wheel chair service also For haram which was very useful and shuttle service to Haram was frequent
Service very poor For getting a single water bottle, I’d to call them 5 times, then two times is to go down the reception to remind them about water.
Although not very close to Haram Masjid that means not in walking distance, facilities and descent atmosphere away from congestion it makes relaxing and piece of mind. Fantastic breakfast with a lot of choices.
There are some points needs to be improved, breakfast buffet options are limited. There is no free wifi and this hotel is rated as a 5 stars hotel. Bathroom size is very small. For the good points about this hotel like they offer a free shuttle 24 hours to/from Almasjid Alharam. Cheap prices comparing with other hotels even in Umrah & alhajj seasons. The Staff are friendly and willing to help any time.fast room service.Free bottles of water everyday. There is electric kettle with free coffe and tea bags. Room size is big enough. And lastly, the bed is comfortable.
I booked the royal suite for my family as soon as I checked in I wasn’t happy with the room. As a parent with small kids I noticed the door safety latch was missing and micro wave was not working. After complaining to the receptionist I was promised to moved to a better room, however the promise was not honoured. My fear was realized the next morning after I left for the morning prayer my child left the room luckily one of my neighbours to took him to the duty manager and brought him back safe and sound, am very great full to that manager. However the door safety latch was replaced later that morning. We expected an apology or explanation but we received none.
À étage breakfast
Overall it was a pleasant stay but it could be better if there is WiFi connection in the room.
