We wanted to go to the Key theatre and then to East restaurant. The location meant I could park in your free car park. A really nice weekend for our anniversary. Thank you.

For a one night stop it was really good. Oh, the fire alarm went off at 06.00

The room size was large and the layout is comfortable. The bedding on the king bed made it difficult to want to get out of it!! The charging points were conveniently located throughout the unit which made it easy to stay charged and connected. Having a fridge was a pleasant perk.

Really, there wasn't anything that we didn't like. A microwave could have been a practical addition to heat those items left-over items.

Location was good, it was clean and spacious.

Requested a double bed, was provided a room with twin beds. Lack of parking, only a very small car park and it’s expensive to park nearby.

The breakfast was a nice buffet with a great drinks machine that did a nice hot chocolate (and coffee). The room and bed were comfy and a decent size, with air con if needed. The shower was good. The location was perfect for the Camra beer festival and the big ASDA across the road, as well as the city centre. Wasn't too far from the station either. Staff were friendly and polite. For the price we were happy with our stay.

There were a few bags of tea/coffee in the room but no complimentary water and the tea/coffee wasn't restocked. Perhaps it would have been if we'd asked for cleaning or stayed longer, but having a bit more to start would have been good. Toilet paper was very cheap. The rooms weren't as sound insulated as I would have liked, but it was quiet aside from the traffic.

Waited 10 minutes at reception for somebody to come out to greet me. Alarm went off, staff came running out, dealt with the problem, looked at me then walked off. After another 10 minutes a waitress came to see if I was being seen to, then went to find a member of reception staff. After another wait was finally seen. All in all not a very good impression.

As you walked up to hotel entrance there was a distinct smell of sewerage,up in the room again near the top of the bed a faint smell of sewerage but after bathroom door had been closed over night the smell when door opened was very strong.

When we checked in, we were given the keys to soneone elses room. Apologies were made, and we were upgraded to a superior room. So all good in the end. But we were very shocked to enter a room that someone hadnt vacated. And quite a big mistake to make given what has happened at other hotel chains. Superior room was great though. Just 1 minor issue, that the sink plug got stuck in the plughole, so sink full of water when we vacated. Reported to reception on checkout. Will probably stay again next year though.

Stayed here for one night on 8th August after a very late/early morning check-in (which I had advised them about). Met by a friendly member of staff (Duty Manager I think) on the front desk who was extremely helpful. Room was lovely and spacious. Didn't have time to try the breakfast in the morning but definitely will next time! Will definitely stay here again when next in Peterborough.

Ideally positioned for train station and town centre. The staff were helpfull and friendly. The room was in good condition and well equipped and excellent value for money.

The location was excellent and bonus to have parking. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the tea and coffee selection. Staff were friendly and a good service received.

The room could be improved by having more than one pillow, a working telephone, and a smart tv. Breakfast should be included for the price paid.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable for my son. Basic decor and overpriced for a 3 star hotel.

The lights went out twice and they didn’t come back on the second time even up till check out. When passing other rooms before check out, we saw the lights were working in those rooms. So it was just our room that was having issues despite being told it was a hotel wide blackout.

Nothing - dreadful place to stay based on the cost

Extremely overpriced for a crap room. Main reception manager was rude and unhelpful (note the junior member was extremely friendly, so it’s a shame his manager set a terrible example) despite clarifying we would be in a twin room he sent us to a double, meaning we had to return to reception.

This was a great find- a perfect overnight stop when travelling from Sussex home to Derbyshire. It was nice to phone prior to arrival and get through to a staffed reception immediately. It was very good value on a Saturday night and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We snuck in ( in the small hours) to the last parking space ( no charge) available- I think this was Saturday night pressure.

Had to go looking for staff to check in and also check out was the same, I was stood there at-least 5 minutes and no one turned up had to go looking again. The car park was a mess in the morning and i was blocked in with someone parked behind me . Apart from that it’s a great place.

Good base in Peterborough, if in need of some TLC. The staff are great: friendly and polite. The rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable; it’s quiet despite being next to a busy road. The breakfast is extensive; I didn’t try the restaurant but the menu looked decent. There are lots of restaurants nearby too and a couple of supermarkets nearby. It’s a short walk from the train station. Peterborough itself has its challenges, but the cathedral and city centre are worth a visit. The lido is wonderful.

Chef wasn't working the night we stayed, we were very tired and had to go walking into town to find food.

The superior room we had was beautifully presented. Spacious and comfortable it was ideal for a weekend stay. We did not eat in the hotel as we were attending a wedding elsewhere. The car park was good and it was well placed for access into town.

Some minor scuffs and scratches around the corridors that you wouldn't see at a Premier Inn or Ibis.

Unfortunately, nobody warned that the room service is available per request only. We have stayed for 3 nights there and room wasn't cleaned even once. We have exchanged the towels several times on the reception desk, but they didn't put our room to the service list. The air conditioner is blowing right to the bed headboard and it's impossible to sleep with it, have to switch it off for a night. The breakfast is poor.

Goede ligging in het stadscentrum. Grote afgesloten parking. Klantvriendelijke medewerkers. Ruime kamers, heel schoon, airconditioning. Uitgebreid ontbijt voor een goede prijs.

De airconditioning in de publieke ruimtes staat ijskoud waardoor het onaangenaam koud is in de bar en in het restaurant.

A little tiered and shabby as walked around a block and thru a car park to find front door. Room was alright but looked like it needed a tart up particularly in bathroom with discoloured mirror.

Breakfast was poor. No fresh eggs, bacon cold, did not touch anything else but toast burnt in machine. Only good thing was real tea pot for breakfast tea. Did not eat or drink in bar as found somewhere in town. Walking around Peterborough from station was nightmare as so many roads shut for rebuilding and long diversion. Guess was not in the right mood.

I travel for work and unfortunately was disappointed with the standard in this hotel. Although the hotel is located well for access to the city centre and has its own carpark general maintenance seems to be significantly lacking. Mould in the grout of showers. My shower had little pressure leaking everywhere. The room had clearly been cleaned in a hurry (things were missed) and in the restaurant my food order was lost and not reported as lost for a while. As friendly as the staff were this was not enough for me to stay again.

Wasnt enough information on how to get the electric on in room lights hanging ogf in room in bathroom and couldnt get the cooling system to work not enough info would of been good if we were given an information sheet with this no room service avaible after 9pm so had to order pizza from outside takeaway

Very friendly staff. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location is spot on. I will definitely book this hotel again for my next stay in Peterborough.

There was a gypsy party on so no parking spaces available. Broken glass bottles all outside the car park which led to my car tyre getting punchered. Didn’t feel very safe in the bar area.

Excellent stay. Good value for money. Staff Excellent. Very good buffet breakfast. Plenty of parking and location very good for town centre.

Decent hotel with chill atmosphere. Reasonable value and was clean on my visit. Central Peterborough with car park is a plus.
