Great place to stay with very friendly staff and the Customer Service was to be commended. Lovely clean place with very high standards.

Great attitude from front house and the rest of the staff. Breakfast brought to our room was a very nice touch. For what we paid it was excellent value for money. If you are expecting a 5 star experience though, this isn't for you.

Peterborough was my home town and it was great as a kid but now it's not. The same can be said for many inner cities these days though. The immediate area feels tired and run down. We were not encouraged to go out at night along Lincoln Road...

Breakfast was not included. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was huge. Rooms needed updating but it had no issues. Plenty of free parking onsite. if vising Peterborough again we would definitely stay at the Pearl Hotel.

Rooms could do with updating. We had to make sure we locked the door straight away on entering due to it opening easily if someone else went by.

Breakfast was room service, which was fine with plenty to eat. A well fitted out hotel, very plush with lovely decor. We had a Superior King room, it was large but nothing too grand. Free parking was available outside too. The man on reception was very friendly and polite and a credit to the hotel.

The floorboards under the carpet in our room were very uneven and creaked, and also none of the windows could be opened as the sash mechanisms were broken and it was very hot in our room on the recent hot summer.

Some of the guests were very noisy when returning to the hotel in the early hours of the morning causing disturbed sleep. The location is in a part of town which can be a bit iffy when it gets dark. I was a little concerned about the safety of my car and it's contents. But all was ok

The bathroom had a smell and the room is very basic.

Uncomfortable bed, noise all night from what sounded like a washing nachine on a fast spin. Musty, damp smell. Asked to change room, which was just as bad. No eating facilities, so had to walk to local area which is a high crime area, very intimidating. How this hotel is rated as 4 star beggars belief. I would never stay there again and I wouldn't trust Booking.com again. Staff tried, but failed to resolve.

Very disappointed to discover that the restaurant listed/advertised on booking form had closed 1 year ago, so information very out of date. This meant I had to walk into centre for an evening meal, which I was not happy about.

Th room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We slept really well for the most part.

The shower needs upgrading and the shower floor was a bit dangerous as there was no anti-slip. The tv only worked intermittently. We heard someone walking about above us at 5 in the morning due to creaky floors but it didn’t disturb us too much.

Excellent room and some nice touches. Bed was good quality,shower was spacious, tv was set up for all kinds of Internet channels,staff were extremely friendly especially the Latvian lady. Delivering breakfast to the room was a really nice touch. Quite close to 2 great places for a drink the ostrich and the bumble inn.

The soap dispenser needs changing and maybe a shelf in the shower to put your shower gel and shampoo in when taking a shower. I would suggest a few more coat hangars as well. Just a personal preference but i would like orange juice instead of tropical juice for breakfast and I think crumpets would be a nice little touch.

Spotless bathroom with good shower and recesses in wall for putting toiletries in, comfortable bed, aircon, breakfast to room presented well, friendly staff. Short walk into the centre.

although the side light to the bed had a faulty connection, so flickered and was unusable. Also the "logo display light" in the wall had the adapter missing, and had come unstuck, so again unusable. Didn't impact on the stay, but did show to me a certain lack of care.

Change of double budget room to a standard room provided by the receptionist at Pearl Hotel in that situation has been happening for the third time to my hospitality guests.

I asked for more coffee and was told by the man on reception we had to drink the 2 sachet befor we could request more. We dont drink tea and like a strong coff i wanted to have this ready for waking g up in the morning. I said forget it I will buy my own at this point he did rush off and supply several coffees. But didn't bring any milk !!!!

Person on reception was very friendly and helpful. I was upgraded from my original booking and I couldn't fault the breakfast. Lovely stay.

Parking was a bit difficult but did manage to find a space.

It was my second stay here. The first time, there was no problem getting non-dairy milk for my breakfast, although there was no spread for the toast. The second time, just one week later, I was told at check-in that they might or might not have plant milk available for the next morning. If there’s no plant milk, my breakfast options are reduced to toast (again, no spread) and black coffee—not what I’d call a decent breakfast. The guy at reception said I couldn’t really expect to have plant milk available without requesting it in advance. What?? It’s not difficult to keep shelf-stable oat or soya milk on hand. It was a very “don’t care” attitude from the staff member. Also, there was no mat for outside the shower and the window to the room was nearly impossible to close.

The air conditioning didn't seem to work properly even after letting reception know and they came to sort it out it still wasn't cooling the room. Also being charged £10 for a bottle of water was very excessive.

Hotel room was larger than I thought. Lots of facilities and very comfortable.

Shower pressure was not as powerful as I thought but overall experience was good.

Very spacious room and enough parking available. Only 5 minutes walking from the cathedral and the main square. Quiet neighbourhood and easy to find. Plenty of restuarants in/around the centre. Breakfast is offered for a decent price and you choose your half hour time slot for breakfast in bed. :-) Perfect.

Staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to leave our car on site when we arrived too early for check in and when we wanted to spend some time in town after check out. Room was small but comfortable. Bottle of water left in room for us along with usual tea making facilities which was a nice touch as it was a warm day.

Only small things really but air con in rooms could do with upgrading. Quite an old unit that wasn't very effective . Plus the stairs to our room were very creaky meaning you could hear other guests coming and going at night or in early hours.

I did not stay at this hotel. I paid for the room and messaged the hotel questions about my stay (outside space for dining). I did not receive any feedback so cancelled but was too late to receive a refund. I took this up with Booking.com who promised a phone call which I also didn't receive. So overall, both the hotel and Booking.com didn't live up to expectations.

ROOM WAS A DECENT SIZE WITH A DESK AND A LARGE TV. BED WAS COMFORTABLE.

THERE WAS A CAR IN THE CAR PARK WITH IT'S ENGINE RUNNING WHEN I GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL FROM GOING OUT FOR THE EVENING. I MENTIONED THIS TO THE GUY ON THE RECEPTION WHO TOLD ME THEY WERE VISITED SOMEONE AT THE HOTEL. I AM NOT SURE IF THEY MEANT A GUEST OR SOMEONE WHO WORKED THERE. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES THEY REVVED THE ENGINE UP AND SPED OFF.

Ein großer Raum! Ich wußte sofort, wohin mit der Motorradausrüstung. Coole Lage. Mit kurzem Weg zur Kathedrale und der Innenstadt. Kurzer Weg zu vielen Restaurants. Ein kleines Frühstück ist gegen Aufpreis möglich. Den Parkplatz vor der Tür konnte ich noch für einen kurzen Zeitraum benutzen, um in die Immenstadt zu gehen.

Friendly and helpful staff. Bartosh on reception was able to make recommendations about places to eat. Room was comfortable, large bathroom area, decent shower. Ended up staying a second night due to change in circumstances and Inna was incredibly helpful in booking a room I had stayed in for a previous trip.

The room was clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Large walk in shower. Air conditioning was useful especially at night. We didn't hear any noise from the adjoioning rooms or floor above. All breakfasts were brought to the room. Complete a form on arrival day with choices and time slot required. This can be modified throughout yoiur stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choice of TV stations.

Hotel rooms are very comfortable with a private bathroom. Rooms are so clean, and the staff are so kind and helpful. I booked for a week and extended it by another week; they offered me a discount. The location is perfect for reaching the bus and train stations, as well as supermarkets. Air conditioner, TV, hair dryer, kettle, towels, a couple of mugs and complimentary beverages are available.

The sound insulation and WiFi speed aren't very good.
