Great value for the money paid a lot more for worse . Stayed several times past few years never any complaints my wife sometimes with me too the same . Staff friendly accommodating. Showers good beds comfortable

Been told I can check in at 12…got there then I ve been told the check in is at 2…wanted to eat something in the restaurant they didn’t allowed me as it is only for members…overall treatment,pathetic.

Lots of unnecessary decor. My bed didn't need a net canopy, it did need a fan.

Limited parking. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom corridor. The restaurant was closed in the evening with the reason given as "the chef was on a night shift last night". Limited breakfast.

The breakfast was not cooked to order. It was dry,soggy, and not fresh in a warm container.

I did not get to stay at the property as they cancelled due to what they say was previous customer damaging the shower, causing it to come off the wall and cause flooding.

Following the hotel cancelling my booking a day before and promising a refund, 8 days on and after messages to and from hotel still no refund received.

Quiet Comfortable Rooms, Location

Its was a small hotel and everything you pay extra like I want check in little earlier than the booking time but for 1 hour and half I pay extra money. And the charges twice by cash there and after I checkout the charge from bank account also. I have campin now I don't know when the give me money back.

Onsite car parking, and it being relatively proximity to where I was working. Good comfy bed, and was given a room with a shower, as I requested

The location to the reception was confusing, although the room looked clean, it needs a bit of attention to detail. The cover for the hot tap and the holder for the toilet roll was missing, the grout in the shower tray was brown, the plug hole was broken and the temperature mixer of the shower didn’t work in line with the indicators on the dial. Car park was full of rubbish, and the window blinds configuration doesn’t give a good/positive first impression to the hotel. Food wasn’t great, I had fish and chips with peas, but the fish was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen, and was mushy, including the batter, and tasted funny, but the chips was hot and crispy, but for the price I expected more. Night staff manager was super friendly giving a tour of the hotel and its history, but am still waiting for the receipt for room booking, which I was told I’d receive on checking out. There was a lot of unusual evening and night activity, to which I later found out that this hotel allows room bookings by the hour!!! And locally known as a knocking shop.

Stayed in room 6 Road noise, room was ground level no double glazing, room was very hot no ventilation (stayed during heat wave) couldn't open old sash window, couldn't shut bathroom door completely (warped)

Great car park for guests, easy friendly check in. As the hotel was quiet I was upgraded without asking. My room was clean with a comfortable clean bed. The bathroom was spotless. Drinks served in clean glasses, no lipstick!(not always the case in some establishments) Excellent customer service. For a budget hotel all of my requirements were met.

The hotel is working on room refresh/ maintenance currently so more for information purposes than a dislike. My shower was noisy and there were some minor maintence issues, wonky toilet seat, stripping on the front of a bedside table. None of these impacted my stay. A window facing the car park has a broken/ crumpled screen that impacts the first impression, however, that was purely cosmetic.

The hotel was idealy situated close to the city centre, with free car parking. Staff were friendly and the hotel well presented. The room was comfortable with adequate facilities that all worked.

The view from my window was a brick wall 1m away. The hotel was not quiet through the night. A door slammed and made my room shake at all times during the night.

A bit tired and dated, pop up waste missing on wash hand basin, items not available for breakfast and food cooked but as it is self service it was cold and dry especially the bacon and black pudding, no sausage or mushrooms as they were not available.

We had a meal Saturday night n it was not good at all so much salt used on everything even garlic bread n i told the waitress but not even a sry or we will give you your money back, understand now why we was the only onez eating

Excellent location and great value for money. All the staff were really professional and always very helpful.

My stay was perfect and I honestly couldn't find anything i didn't like.

Good central location

Rooms old and worn out. No tv remote and a very noisy couple upstairs bonking for hours which made our wardrobe squeak so not much sleep. Bed very uncomfortable and held up off the floor with remote controls I guess from another room as it didn’t match our tv.

Breakfast served between 7am and 9am. Was told I didn’t need to book the night before and when I went to the restaurant at 8.25am was told they didn’t know how much they had left. He said he would cook some more mushrooms. It was suggested I had a look what was on offer and it looked totally unappetising and poorly presented so decided to not bother and get breakfast elsewhere

Location is good, very close to city centre.

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. It was well situated for me to access the places I wanted to go to.

The dinner I ordered from the restaurant was very disappointing and not value for money at all. The breakfast had quality ingredients but badly cooked. Some of the male staff were not well trained in hospitatlity.

The residents that live permantley in the hotel very dodge think that homeless and people that are on bail live here i got assulted by a resident

Location, free 24 hour parking, air-conditioned bar. Good shower, In-room tea & coffee.

Beds & pillows could be better. No evening meal option (Due to staff illness) Breakfast acceptable but could be improved.

The staff were extremely welcoming and non-judgmental, they were really great :)

Room was a bit tatty, some sort of alarm went of at 2am for abour 30 seconds, no rxplanation or calling out. Breakfast was self service and kept in warmers so was cold by the time you got to eat. Saw no staff at all in the morning during breakfast or leaving.

The location was really good. The housekeeping team were friendly and happy to help with anything (ie extra towels)

No air conditioning in Room 43. Temperatures in the room reached 37 degrees. The sash window wouldn’t stay open on its own, so had to use a towel to keep the window wedged open! I also didn’t like that the front door was locked at 10pm, and a lack of a dedicated reception.

property could do with a good clean in bathrooms as mould is growing between tiles and a good coat of paint inthe room i was staying the floor needed fixing as g grown every time you walked across

Room large and clean. Location suited me fine, parking available.

Areas of room had tatty decor - laminate torn off door. None of the USB points in the room appeared to work. Restaurant / Bar - menu very unaspiring, food not very tasty, wine very rough. Felt the client care was missing - a bit more smiles and "how is everything" needed particularly as it was branding itself as a conference facility as well as a hotel.

Very dated used to be lovely hotel bar area good breakfast basic and cold.

The staff were accommodating and very friendly. Josh the night manager was very welcoming as we had a late check in. The room was modern, bright and clean. There was a decent selection for breakfast. All round a very good stay and will defiantly use again

Room was clean, bed comfy and staff were welcoming and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to cater for my husband who is gluten and dairy intollerant. Cooking him special items for breakfast and dinner.

Limited supply of non alcoholic drinks in the bar.

Many internal doors to navigate to get to your room. Many of these felt grubby. Bedroom carpets were thin and needed replacement. Single bed mattress was too saggy. External window faced a brick wall, as did some other rooms, and opened to the sound of the kitchen extractor fan from 6am to 11pm, which would keep you awake. Very basic soap dispenser in the bathroom/shower, and poor lighting (broken single bedside bulb) in room and ensuite.

Very good clean hotel with exellent staff.

Considering i used to live in Peterborough i have never stayed here and from the outside you wouldnt think too much of it. But once we were inside it was very clean and really well decorates and presented. The staff were ever so friendly and welcoming. The room was really clean and tidy, i also loved the sign from the cleaner himself 'Tommy', i think thats a great detail as i am a cleaner myself so its nice to know the name of who cleaned your room and if there were any issues then you would know who to mention about. The price for 3 nights was honestly amazing too, a decent price for which we could afford. The location is perfect for a walk into town or anywhere close to the city centre so it didnt mean we had to drive much which was great. Overall the hotel was great and we really enjoyed our stay and we will be staying for future visits.

I wouldnt list many things about what we didnt like...mainly other guests were very noisy and we didnt get much sleep due to screaming and shouting and doors being slammed until 2am. This was the only downfall, i understand people are out to have a nice time but on the day we came home we had a 4 hour drive and we were running on 3 hours of sleep so i would.possibly advize a noise curfew if possible just for the respect of all guests. The bed wasnt the most comfortable. The mattress mainly so we had very sore backs and it was also difficult to sleep. I did have an issue with using the taps for the shower, they seemed stiff??? Im not sure but it was difficult to regulate the temperature of the water especially when we had 33° weather!! 😂 Even with these negative comments we will 100% be staying here again for future visits.

Absolutely nothing

The dirty sheets, the cigarette burns all over the carpet, the lack of care from the staff. The lack of options to resolve the issues.

The room was nice and clean if not a little dated but for the price was adequate and comfortable.

On arrival the staff were very friendly and welcoming but the overnight staff were very rude. He told us the bar was shut which was fair but then served one of his mates. When I questioned this he implied that we were drunk and fell out of our taxi. My disabled partner with mobility issues was extremely offended by this as I had to help her from the car. The barmans friend said to him that" he should think about serving us as he didn't think we would cause any trouble even if we looked like we would" We are alternative looking and had been to a music event but felt that this was discriminating towards our appearance and disability. The whole experience ruined our stay unfortunately.

Rooms in need of Reno. Im not picky but the room did smell a little and the view from my room was a brick wall. Bathroom was not great. My shower was broken and the grouting and tiles whilst mostly clean but needed re grouting and a deep clean. If I’m picky the cups with the kettle were so small …. Really need a mug. Carpet had a big stain on it.

Rooms were a good size

Bathtub edging had mould. Window could not be closed due to a broken handle.

This is a friendly clean hotel with parking. The restaurant serves traditional British cuisine which we enjoyed. The room was clean and comfortable and the internet service was excellent.

I would have loved.more tea and sugar provided in the room, there were just 2 tea bags and none were replaced.
