What a pleasant surprise! Had a hard time booking our regular hotel for Sunfest so we ended up at the London Travel Inn. Mixed reviews so we did not know what to expect. What we got was a cordial, warm welcome. The lobby was spotlessly clean. We got to our room . It was a tad tiny but again it was impeccably clean and suited our needs perfectly. Not only was it clean but it was nice a quiet . This was a great value and I urge you to consider staying here if you are in the London area. It is a little old but they seem to be dedicated to careful and thorough maintenance and cleanliness. When we checked out the staff once again was utterly cheerful. thanks for a pleasant stay!

No breakfast included. Rooms have been consistently clean across my visits. AC/Heating worked without issue, bathroom and showers as well.

The pillows were a little hard to get used to. Location is not bad, but not directly accesible by bus. If it was slightly less pricy I would have no complaints, but it is a good option and I have used it more than once.

Convinient location. Staff was very nice. Parking was big. Yard was cleaned well. I liked outside picnic table space. Towel was super clean. Bed was big. Facilities are all old. Wall seems very thin. We could hear the neighbors a lot. AC worked very well! Price was very competitive. Overall, it was ok.

I’ve never been so disgusted in a place, would be giving a 0 stars if possible. We booked a stay for 2 nights in this place 1 of which we couldn’t even sleep in our bed because it was full of bed bugs. When brought to the staffs attention I was accused of lying and was told that they found no bugs- they went to the room at checked around 8:30am and we had not been in the bed since 1am so the bed was cold (basic bed bug knowledge is knowing they’re only out when it’s warm). We also were accused of using the room the whole night because they “checked the cameras” but refused to look at the cameras with me to show me the timing where I exited the Inn at 1am with all of my belongings and husband after going to the front desk and being told there would be a manager in the building in an hour. (Turns out there’s no managers even in on Sundays so I was lied to again) I was told by the manager when I called the next day to discuss the issue that they can’t just give refunds to everyone who sees something and I now have to pay for all of my belongings to be cleaned including my car. I would rather camp out in my car for an entire weekend than ever stay in this place again. My husband is now having to get treatment for an allergic reaction to his bites. Rude staff Disgusting rooms-outside of the bedbug probably you can tell hygiene is not a strong suit. And no ability to hold themselves accountable for their own issues.

Room is definitely not clean. There's hair in here that was here when we arrived and I don't think that it is splitting any part of the fee for the night. There's strange holes in the sheet, there's also no fitted sheet just in their flat sheet. Clearly people have smoked in here. I don't know what's nearby. I know nothing about the shops nearby but it is London so I assume there's something. Parking was fine.

Easy to get into and out of

TV Remotes were too complicated. I TRIED FOR QUITE AWHILE BUT HAD TO HAVE A MANAGER TUNE IT IN HE HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE ALSO BUT HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS LOOKIMG FOR TO GET IT SET UP. HE FINALLY MANAGED TO DO SO. MUST HAVE BEEN, WITH MY TRYING AND HIS ABOUT A 3 HR. DEAL. NOT SOMETHING A GUEST SHOULD BE CONCERNED OR NEEDS TO BE SPENDING 3 hrs on. Very, very frustrating. There were two changers there and I did not know anything about how to use ether one of them. A simpler TV system sould be considered and put in place for future guests. After all what does a guest know about the Hotels own system and how it works. Especially when there's no info in the room at all. I think you get my point.

There was food in the fridge, contact lenses on the sink, and gair in the shower.

No Breakfast but provisions were made in the room for tea or coffee. The room was well equipped for privacy and comfort. Nice, roomy and comfortable beddings.

The TV in the room is too small and few channels were on view.

There was nothing good about my stay here. It is absolutely my worse experience at a hotel/ inn. All the rooms are DIRTY. It took 3 TIMES before finding a decent enough room that didnt smell mouldy or like smoke and it was STILL DIRTY! All the sheets on the bed are very old with tears and stains. Two beds had white stuck on excrement on them and a brown/red stain. I am not sure if it food or bodily fluids but they're all disgusting. I booked for a king bed and ended up sleeping on a double/ queen bed. The walls are nasty and so are the washrooms. The toilets aren't cleaned properly, one room had no towels and damaged shower curtain another room had towels but no curtain and the last room had a dirty ring around the toilet. The walls and curtains are stained with brownish type of splatter and I'm not sure what it is. The headboard of the bed has dried up dripping liquid that looks like bodily fluid. I was looking to extended my stay for an additional day while checking in, but after encountering these issues, I've decided to cut my trip short and go home. I slept on a sleeping bag I had in my car from my camping trip and with a blanket I keep in my car for emergencies and park visits with my kids. I didn't sleep well. taxes they said the room would cost an additional $130 and that is TOOO EXPENSIVE for this type of hotel. Its more like a hostel that should charge $25 a night. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND I WANT A REFUND! EWWW!!

For the price we paid the hotel wasn’t bad. Carpets and furniture were stained. Manager was very helpful and friendly.

A 5 star stay for the price given! Went for a weekend event and everything about it was excellent! Was a little out of the way for the event but so was every other hotel at that price so that’s just how it’s gonna be! All of the staff were very friendly with each interaction (if you care about that kind of thing, which I don’t, but if you do they were very nice regardless)!

I liked that it was close to many shops and restaurants.

The hotel itself is old. It needs a lot of upgrading. The room was clean for what it was. We saw no bugs, and the staff was amazingly friendly. Outside at night can be a little sketchy.

Overall a decent room and stay. The property is a former Howard Johnson's, fairly tired in furnishing and decor, and wanting in renovation and updating. However, it is clean and convenient, and I'd stay again. The air conditioning wasn't working in the first room they gave me, but the nice lady at reception moved me immediately which I appreciated.

This is our go to place when traveling to London, Ontario. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the property has a great outdoor space to sit and relax. It's also within walking distance of several stores and Chuck's Roadhouse. The best part of staying here is the amazing family that owns and runs the inn. I can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating they are!! They take the comfort of their guests seriously and always strive to have you leave with a smile on your face. A definite must stay if you're looking for an affordable stay in London. Highly recommend!!

When we checked in Front desk girl was very nice, chaged our room for us when we had alot to carry to 1st floor. Ice machine has rules not to use for coolers. But charge $7 a bag thought that was a little much

Was ok the comforter had a huge burn mark on it. But the room and bathroom was clean . Hey for $128 I didn’t expect The Taj Mahal. For the money I was satisfied.
