A truly lovely stay in Siem Reap. Wonderful location, tucked neatly in the middle of everything while still feeling peaceful and secluded. The rooms are comfortable, clean and charming. I would definitely recommend getting a room on the second floor for the beautiful pond views. The breakfast was ala carte, and honestly, everything we tried from the menu was delicious. A special mention has to go to the three resident kitties, Oscar (white), Shira (black/ginger) and Charlie (little grey kitty). They happily roam around the hotel greeting guests and added so much character and warmth to our stay. The staff were also wonderful. Everyone was incredibly polite, warm, professional and genuinely hospitable. They always seemed happy to go the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms may feel a little dated, and there are no televisions, but I actually enjoyed that. It made the stay feel more peaceful and gave us a chance to properly switch off and enjoy the surroundings. A beautiful little hotel with a lot of heart. Would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Angkor Village Hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean, and staff were helpful in organising our Angkor Wat tour. When we returned to collect bags on our last day, even though it was past check out time, they offered a room for us for shower and freshen up in. The location, pool and breakfast were great too.

Struttura eccezionale. Posizione top al centro della città, comodissimo, ma silenziosissimo ( sembrava di essere in mezzo alla giungla) Ambiente molto familiare, con personale di una gentilezza quasi imbarazzante. Staff sempre attentissimo al cliente. Piscina interna piacevolissima ( soprattutto il pomeriggio dopo la fatica delle escursioni) Centro massaggi buono. Colazione alla carta. Velocissimi nel servizio, ma un po’ ripetitivo.

Il ristorante ha location fantastica… ma cucina non eccezionale.

Here’s a shorter version that keeps the warmth and the important personal details: Without a doubt, one of our favourite hotels we have ever stayed in. Everything about our stay was wonderful, the beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, fantastic location and, above all, the exceptional service. The hotel feels like a tropical oasis in the middle of Siem Reap, surrounded by lush greenery and incredibly peaceful, yet only 5–10 minutes from the lively centre. The entire front desk team were amazing from start to finish. They were incredibly helpful with recommendations, transport and anything else we needed. A particularly thoughtful touch was organising a takeaway picnic breakfast for our early sunrise visit to Angkor Wat, while carefully accommodating all of our family’s dietary requirements. The hotel also arranged Kim Sour as our driver for Banteay Srei and Phnom Bakheng. He was fantastic — kind, patient and knowledgeable, and made our day even more memorable. We also loved the spa, with a special thank you to Sopha and Yaty for their wonderful massages. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! A beautiful hotel made truly special by the wonderful people who work there. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to return.

Rundherum ein super Hotel mit sehr besonderer Atmosphäre. Eine Oase & Dschungel mitten in der Stadt. Toller sehr zuvorkommender Service, schönes Restaurant und sehr leckeres Frühstück. Man ist fußläufig in ein paar Minuten in der Innenstadt. Netter kleiner Fitnessraum!

Hotel is beautiful. The position is ideal for visiting the town and temples. Staff are attentive and the rooms and grounds are spotless. Restaurant food was lovely and prices for drinks and food was reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was fine but food is ordered via a tick box menu which was not to my liking as I prefer buffet choice for breakfast. Other than that no complaints.

The setting is beautiful - scattered wooden buildings immersed in tropical vegetation, and dotted ponds with lotus flowers. Incredibly peaceful. It is a bit rustic, but in a good way. The location is excellent, the breakfast is great, and it offers excellent value.

Prachtig modern hotel ingericht in Cambodjaanse stijl. Hele mooie hal / lobby met prachtige inrichting en vriendelijke ontvangst. Heerlijk zwembad. Fantastisch ontbijt in een schitterende setting.

De muziek in de hal / lobby was niet mijn smaak. Verder alles echt uitstekend.

Un oasis en medio de Siem Riep. Empleados súper atentos que nos llenaron de detalles durante toda nuestra estancia. Especial mención a Charly que nos recibió de madrugada y nos acompañó a la recepción.

Presque tout : l emplacement en plein centre ville on fait tout à pied. Hôtel en bois tout confort dans un havre de verdure avec un restaurant au dessus d un bassin avec nénuphars. Le restaurant propose des plats abordable de très bonne qualité. Le petit déjeuner est varié. Le personnel est adorable et très attentionné mais aussi discret.

Le seul point négatif est lié à la situation proche d un temple avec, selon les chambres, un peu de bruit le matin.

everything about this hotel is just wonderful - the location, rooms, pool, restaurant and bar and amazing water gardens. the staff were just incredible. i would recommend to anyone - it was amazing. cambodia needs visitors and this is a great base to visit angkor and the temples

The Angkor Village Hotel is wonderful. It is a little oasis in the city. It honestly feels like you are in a garden. It is a quirky hotel and really well appointed. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the room was excellent. It was comfortable, spacious and well appointed with a great bathroom too. We ate breakfast in the hotel which was really tasty and they were able to provide my husband with gluten free food which as tasty and varied. It also is situated in the middle of the town and really handy for walking around the city.

Not that it could have been better, but just to be aware that the swimming pool is quite small and there are trees all around which I really liked but it does make it feel a bit closed in.

Very cosy , traditional decor , excellent service and very polite staff. Spa was and simple functional and good massages. Food was good. I would like to recognise Eang who was at the breakfast area everyday. Great service. It’s amazing that there was a lotus pond and a lot of greenery in the resort but minimal mosquitoes and insects. Also , location was great for walking around and visit the city. Lastly their help in organising the tours is also highly appreciated.

We were in room 22 which had several leaks from the roof and beams in the living area which couldn’t be plugged during our stay. Though it didn’t impact too much but was a nuisance. The rugs under the sofas are a slip hazard and needs to be fixed before someone falls.

Bungalows autour d un bassin entouré de végétation luxuriante, restaurant comme sur pilotis, la déco rendait une ambiance très agréable même en pleine ville. Piscine nichée dans la végétation.

Malheureusement tôt le matin des prieres diffusées par les hauts parleurs du temple voivin nous ont réveillé trop tôt durant les 5 jours....il paraît que c était les funérailles d une personne illustre... Pas beaucoup de transats au bord de la piscine.

Staff were really friendly. The grounds were beautiful as was the pool area. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We loved this hotel and will definitely return.

The hotel was beautifully appointed and staffed by polite and helpful people. They assisted with airport transfers and arranging a driver guide to go exploring. The pool and breakfast were both great. It felt like an oasis.

The only negative was that the aircon was a little noisy.

This hotel is so beautiful, really magnificent and Atmospheric. The whole design of the place envelopes you in Cambodian culture. The staff were as lovely as they could be. And I was expecting an inconvenient location but it was a fantastic location, literally a 5-minute walk down to the river and the Old Market. My flight home was pushed to a later time and this hotel was gracious enough to let me stay at the pool, and provided me with a room to use to shower get ready to leave. All class.

It appears that the mattresses at the hotel are Tempurpedic. So many people love those. I don't but they were actually able to change things and add a topper and made it perfect.

This beautiful hotel is a little oasis right in the middle of the city. It has lush greenery everywhere you walk. We were easily able to walk to the riverside for dinner, night markets, and Shopping. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and Knowledgeable. The upstairs room that we were given was enormous and had a beautiful vaulted ceiling with a sitting area and delicious fruit. The bathroom also was very large and had everything you could ever need. The breakfast staff is lovely and the made to order breakfast was delicious. When you sit down, you were given a checklist that makes ordering very easy, but they will offer you more food and beverages throughout. We enjoyed sitting every morning right by the beautiful pond. The pool was also gorgeous, lush, and refreshing.

Just like most hotels in Asia, you are required to leave your room key in the wall in order to access electricity. This means that when you leave the room, the air-conditioning turns off.

Alt personale vi mødte under vores ophold var virkelig venlige og hjælpsomme. Værelserne var store og rigtig fint indrettet. Maden i restauranten var også rigtig god med mulighed for at prøve lokale gode retter. Hotellet ligger meget centralt i gåafstand til centrum men uden at være helt i centrum, så der er dejligt roligt på stedet. Opholdet var alt hvad vi håbede på og det kan varmt anbefales.

It was an excellent experience, nice atmosphere, nice location ..only 15mins from angkor wat, staff is so polite, they go out of their way to make your atay wonderful rooms are neat and clean, excellent swimming pool overall excellent is also an understatement

1) Very beautiful hotel, feels like a resort. Everything was very carefully and thoughtfully laid out: the reception, lobby and restaurant. The lotus pond in the middle of the hotel compound was beautiful and tranquil 2) Room size was perfect. Everything works very well. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Housekeeping was very detailed and prompt. The water pressure in the room was weak but housekeeper managed to detect and repair it straight away. 3) Service was far above my expectation. Tbh I had never been to a hotel with this level of service. Check-in was done in relaxed manner, all staff greets you like family, the turndown service always come with cakes and desserts, 4) Location is near Pub Street, then again you can hire a tuk tuk via Grab for just USD 2 or less. 5) Facilities were clean and well-maintained. Pool, gym were excellent. 6) Massage at spa was very good too. I did 90mins body and it was very relaxing. 7) Picnic breakfast: you can request for one if you are going on a breakfast tour!

An tropical oasis in the centre of town.

This hotel a hidden Oasis in the a great part of Siem Reap, Cambodia. I arrived here by myself after a long trip from the US over Taiwan, then Hanoi to finally land here at 6pm at night. Upon arrival from the airport my rooms was prepared with a wonderful fruit amenity and it was a very Zen environment. Each room basically a small mini cottage with large sliding windows. In this hotel they have a great restaurant where I ate for breakfast daily, they have a bar, lounge and large pool area. I was out on tours daily so only used the amenities in the morning and at night. The day of my departure I did use the business center which was a great working area with the same views and nice furniture inside. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again if ever back in the area. Even my taxi driver who picked me up (same that drove me from the airport to the hotel at night) mentioned how tranquil this hotel and grounds looks / feels.

The best place and the most wonderful staff I’ve ever met

It is hard to find the words to describe the experience of staying at this marvellous hotel Walking in from the busy streets of Siem Reip, guests find themslves in a graceful, timeless and luxurious space, surrounded by greenery and beautiful teak furnishings. The common areas are delightful. The restaurant surrounded by an enormous lotus pond is such a tranquil spot, you really don't want to leave. The pool area was very private and gorgeously appointed. The rooms are spacious private and welcoming. All the special touches are here - a beautiful view, the welcome fruit bowl, fresh flowers every day, a turn down service with a special folkstory to share each night, a wonderfully comfy bed, great pillows and excellent easy chairs for relaxing in after busy days. Above all, the staff at this hotel are exemplary. They were always smiling, welcoming, kind and helpful. As well as enjoying a daily breakfast, we had several beautiful meals at the restaurant. The staff were always delightful. We enjoyed chatting with them and learning about Cambodian life. We loved our stay at the fabulous hotel and hope to reurn one day.

Lovely boutique hotel close to the town centre

we had a suite, so it was big with plenty of room for our 6 nights.

The breakfast was very bad for the cost of the hotel the breakfast was appalling. The motor bike noise in the room at certain times was not relaxing. Pool was OK but not as good as some others.

This hotel is in a great location, extremely central in a very busy area but once you go through the entrance is like an oasis of calm and tranquility. The design is beautiful, a lot of thought has gone in to it. The staff are fantastic and cant do enough for you. Breakfast by the hotels pond is a very nice setting and the breakfast menu is very good. All food and drinks here were great. The pool is lovely and although it is tucked away from the main bar/restaurant its not a problem, there is a phone station at the pool where you can call and order any drinks and food that you want and they bring it to you. The room was nice but a couple of niggles here for me, there is no TV in the room, I like to put on a TV for background when I'm in the room so not a game changer but just a personal thing that I wasn't aware of before I went, that's on me though not the hotel. Also the beds are extremely hard, there was already a mattress topper on and I asked for another one to be added. The hotel obliged with this straight away that day but unfortunately it made no difference other than as a short woman I almost needed a ladder to get on the bed, felt a bit like princess and the pea story, it was still much too firm for me. I would mention that if you are going to Cambodia I would avoid going during new year unless you want to join in the party, we arrived on day 1 of the 3 day celebrations again that was on us not checking before we booked but outside the hotel was manic, its not so much the water side of it as I noticed that as tourists unless you were carrying a water gun of some description the local people pretty much left you alone and didn't drown you, you might get a little squirt from cheeky children but in 40 degree heat, that's not a bad thing. The main issue is the noise level, it ramps up considerably as the sun starts to go down and continues in to the early hours, even the ear plugs didn't help. We also chose one of the hottest times of the year to go, 40 plus degrees meant it was way too hot to do much other that stay at the pool during the day and go out when the sun went down. We did book a Tuk Tuk private day tour of the 3 main Angkor Temples, this had a 7am Start and by 9am the temperature was already unbearable. The temples are fairly close by and are amazing, I couldn't go to Cambodia without visiting them, but my friend almost passed out from the heat, according to our guide, November is the best time of year to visit so note to self, don't go in April again. The tour was very good and only spoiled by the extreme heat but again that was on us. Overall I loved it here and would stay again.
