EL hotel es espectacular lo mires por donde lo mires. Lo bonito que es, lo bien cuidado que está, el personal que se da al 300%, los servicios que ofrecen, el desayuno gourmet, la limpieza dos veces al día y 'por la tarde te tratan un detalle de picoteo, un cuento y previsión del tiempo. La habitación super amplia, el baño hasta con bañera de piedra, sales exfoliantes, cremas, los cócteles, masajes...Estaban atentos a todo. La ubicación y la seguridad con militares en la puerta.

Beautiful hotel, lovely and green with plants and foliage. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good. Very happy that they had nice gluten free bread when asked. We had a poolside room - very spacious with nice seating area outside.

Very nice treatment from the girls at the reception desk (especially Justine), and the rest of the hotel staff. The amenities are incredible and we had a very nice and relaxing experience.

We were a couple looking forward to a relaxing stay, but unfortunately, on two days, the pool (right in front of the rooms) was full of children screaming and splashing around from as early as 7 a.m. We understand that the behaviour of a few ill-mannered children is not necessarily the hotel’s fault. However, the hotel may want to reconsider its children policy, particularly if it is aiming to attract a more adult-oriented clientele.

I liked the staff, it felt like I was super welcomed and everything went smooth. We went to Siam Reap, the driver and the tour guide were so nice!!! Keep doing your job, you are doing great and I'll reccomend it to my friends!!!!

La estancia en el Hotel ha sido fantástica. Su ubicación es perfecta, a menos de 10 min de la zona de mercados y ocio nocturno. La habitación es muy grande, espaciosa y cómoda. Muy confortable, completa de servicios. El personal es inmejorable, atento a más no poder. Cuidan mucho los detalles. Pedimos prolongar un poco el check - out y nos ofrecieron más tiempo del que pedimos sin coste adicional, lo que se agradece enormemente. El desayuno es más que completo, con zona de cocina para pedir huevos como quieras y platos locales. Y el desayuno que te preparan para llevar si madrugas a los templos está muy cuidado, puedes pedir bastante cantidad y te lo preparan en una caja y una bolsa de tela. La piscina una maravilla. Llegar del calor de la visita a los templos y disfrutar de un baño es una delicia. Un lujo de Hotel al que volvería sin dudarlo, con una relación calidad - precio difícil de encontrar. Muy recomendable para combinar visitas a los templos, descanso y ocio

Excellent place, hospitability and helpfulness of the staff. Miss Nat helped us many times and was of great service and kindness. All the staff was amazing, the location and facilities are perfect. It made our relatively short stay perfect. The pool and massage service is great as well.

Our stay at the Golden Temple was fantastic. This luxurious hotel is a paradise just steps from the center of Siem Reap. The extremely friendly and welcoming staff looked after us the entire time. They also looked for alternative options, especially for meals since we are vegetarians. I recommend trying their cuisine. The rooms and location are super clean. We'll miss them!

Al llegar nos decían que no aparecía la reserva porque somos genius en Booking y que no aparecíamos y que no estaba pagado lo cual no sabían explicarse y nos asustaron. Teníamos 3 habitaciónes superiores en planta baja con bañera y acceso a la piscina y una de ellas me la dieron inferior y decían que eran iguales, cosa que no era cierta porque yo pagué más por esa habitación. Tuvimos que pasar una noche en esa habitación con las consiguientes molestias de volver a mover todo de sitio y no me ofrecieron ningún detalle o compensación por hacernos pasar un día en una habitación inferior y me pareció un detalle feo.

Excellent stay. Super friendly staff, comfortable room, great spa, nice swimming pool. Highly recommend this as your only stay in siem reap. They do provide airport transfer, which I think very convinient and safe as well.

I dont expect much, just my solo trip to see Angkor Wat as milestone of my life but everythings become greater with the Hotel. Room and falicity is really magnificant while staffs is very friendly, warm, patient and always know what you need, they surprised me in my birthday with small gift but big warm hearts and sincere. I really highly appriciate their tour-services, especially my private tour-guide - Mr Som Piseth who spent all day with me from sunrise to afternoon, along all temple destination with asthusiatic, good vibe, positive energy and wide knowledge.

This hotel sets the highest standard for hospitality and service. The staff is extremely personable, friendly, and attentive. I wish my family could spend more time here. We enjoyed an exceptional tour with Som, a brilliant local guide that the hotel partners with, who taught us all about Cambodian ancient history, religious practices, colonial history, and contemporary challenges. We woke up well before sunrise to take fantastic pictures of Angkor Wat, and later had a hotel catered breakfast on a boat before walking around the second temple site. I really enjoyed talking to Kia, one of the hotel’s kitchen staff, who gave even more insights into the local culture. We also had massages at the hotel, which were very relaxing, convenient, and thorough. There was also a traditional Khmer dance show with a five course dinner. It was delicious and I really liked the performance. The hotel room itself was also very nice and the affordable room service was excellent. The hotel is right nearby the night market and it was fun to walk around and explore. We only spent two nights here but we packed in enough activity and enjoyment for a much longer duration. I would strongly recommend this hotel!

I was so happy at this hotel that I extended my stay, from 3 to 5 nights. The service was beyond anything I'd experienced in Cambodia. Lucas and Nat were incredibly kind, generous and helpful, as was the entire staff. My room was spotless. The bed was among the most comfortable I've slept on, and the shower and bathtub were both spa-level amazing. One would expect to pay much more for the perfection that is the Golden Temple Retreat.

As a teacher on an extended vacation in SE Asia, my original plan was primarily to stay within Vietnam with maybe a side trip to Bangkok and Singapore sometime in between, but on a whim, I also decided to take a three day trip to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat and other temples. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, particularly with the accommodations because you can never really tell—even based on reviews online. But The Golden Temple Retreat was a beautiful, tranquil, and welcoming oasis after a long day of traveling. Even my driver commented that i was staying at a nice place on the long drive in from the airport. The moment I arrived, a cold towel and a welcome drink along with tasty snacks—fresh banana chips and really flavorful peanuts roasted with herbs and spices. My room was so spacious! Very elegant and comfortable with a rain shower and a generously sized tub. But more importantly, the staff was so warm, welcoming, kind, and accommodating—always ready to attend to your every need, whether it’s an umbrella for the day or if you need to exchange cash for smaller bills. Location-wise, it’s situated near the center of town and I basically walked everywhere; so it’s really convenient. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Golden Temple Retreat Hotel. Excellent location 10 mins walk from riverside and pub street. Welcoming friendly staff. Lovely breakfast buffet. Swimming pool is great for a relaxing swim visiting the temples or unwind with a massage. Excellent rooms and bathrooms are wonderful. Recommended very highly.

Everything was perfect to be honest. I made use of the spa and the Apsara meal/performance, and was well worth it!

Great stay! The best ever service and hospitality. They were doing their best to make us happy, and succeeded big time. Very good breakfast, spacious clean comfortable room, very quiet lovely swimming pool and nice spa. Located just a 3 min tuk tuk away to all attractions in the city. We also booked airport transfers and some tailored tours with the hotel and all were fabulous

The Golden Temple is truly a retreat! - an oasis for tired and weary bodies. The staff is generously kind and attentive. You are greeted with a refreshing yea and feet wash upon entry. My facial was one of the most soothing I’ve ever had. The aroma of the ingredients was delightful to the senses. And the conclusion with a ginger tea and fruit snack completes the experience. I hope everyone who comes to Siem Reap can come enjoy this wonderful opportunity and experience.

This is definitely one of the best hotels, I‘m ever tried! The standard of service is at a top,top level. All staff is really friendly and smiling naturally. I‘m used to travelling in Asia, and smiling is sometimes more like a must than naturally. Everything is clean and well organized. The rooms are big. The breakfast is excellent. If you have the chance, you should definitely book this hotel. I would like to point out Ms. Nat at the reception. Once arrived, she knew all my bookings made through the hotel (Angkor Wat trip, massage, dance show). And her knowledgement wasn‘t written on a piece of paper, but stored in her head. In general she‘s such a friendly and service minded person. I would also like to point out Mr. Som. He was my private guide during the Angkor Wat one-day trip. He knew extremely much about all the temples and was able to tell it in an easy-going way. Also so easy and plesent to talk to him about the city and Cambodia in general. Som, what a pleasure and once again many thanks.

Excellent location. Within walking distance to the market and pub street. Breakfast was excellent. Staff wonderful. Pool fantastic.

Would have like to have more privacy between units. The outside area for lounging was very exposed to the unit beside us. A simple trellis would have made the area more private. I also would have prefer the staff to advise me re the activities. I booked a visit to the floating village however there had been no rain for several months and a 3hr return tuk tuk trip was for nothing.

Una pasada de Hotel. Reservamos una habitación con salida directa a la piscina. Amplia, limpia y hermosamente decorada. La espectacular piscina, relaja te bañes o no, porque está integrada estéticamente con el entorno del edificio. Todo el personal muy atento a lo que necesitáramos y siempre con una sonrisa. El SPA es de primer nivel. Uno de los mejores masajes, si no el mejor, que he recibido nunca. Además está a tan solo 5 minutos andando de la zona del rio con mayor actividad y ocio nocturno, como los mercados y la famosa Pub Street.

Amazing hotel, staff couldn't have been friendlier, went above and beyond. Turn down service with snack, story and weather forecast above and beyond. Dinner was amazing. Really full of flavour. Had the best massage at the spa, hotel was beautiful - 10/10 would recommend. Beds were great, slept fab. Aircon great also.

Service was a little slow, I ate in the restaurant twice and both times the food came before the drinks - not ideal when it was so hot! Breakfast was ok. I've had better.

Superb! We booked 4 nights and stayed for 8! Excellent room, comfortable bed, shower was amazing! The pool was refreshing and beautiful to float around in with the lush gardens. Breakfast was outstanding. The staff were exceptional in every way. Would come back again!

We took the 2 day magical tour on offer and had a great time, our guide Sinet and driver Chek were both excellent, a thoroughly enjoyable 2 days. The staff here are exceptional nothing is too much trouble.

The lack of sun beds around the pool was disappointing, the double beds outside the ground floor rooms may want changing to sun beds, as the beds are too low to lay on.

The hotel was very lovely and the receptionist team and f&b were very warm. A must come

La struttura è veramente un 5 stelle, camere confortevoli grandi e moderne con bagno top, colazione molto buona e di qualità, cena ottima con chef da lode. Piscina bella e rinfrescante , bar pomeridiano e massaggio tra i più soddisfacenti mai fatti . Tutto questo con la simpatia e la gentilezza gratuita del sorriso sempre pronto del personale che è il plus ultra. Bravi. Da ritornare non solo per questo ma per tutto un popolo che merita recensioni ottime.

Everything is good

We stayed here in order to visit the temple complexes. The hotel was lovely and great value. The staff were excellent and super friendly. We had a couple of lovely massages too with discounts from when we booked. The highlight was the 2 day tour. We had lovely aircon private car with a great driver Mr Sun and a wonderful guide Som. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. His English was amazing and we chatted about all thing Cambodia as well as the temples. The temples were as stunning as we hoped but Som made it super special. I would highly recommend.

Hotel is very welcoming and comfortable with a nice central pool, decent breakfast and lovely rooms. On a nice quiet street but close enough to nightlife. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Highlight was our 2 day guided tour with Som - he was superb and along with our driver Mr Sun looked after us like royalty! Our guide Som was so easy to talk to with superb English, and gave us insights into the temples, Cambodian religious history, current affairs and so much else. And welcomed us back to the aircon car after each temple with cold towels - much needed! Highly recommend this tour.

Recommend Golden Temple Retreat for everyone, you will be glad you stayed with them!

So Pheap was my masseus and she was extremely experienced and skillful. We did the khmer traditional massage. No oil. She found all my painful areas and worked on them. Be wary and ask for a gentle massage if you dont like it very strong by western standards. Highly highly highly recommend.
