Das Hotel ist sehr schön, das Personal sehr freundlich.
Great family-feel business with lovely staff. Good food. Great location.
Nothing! All good
Breakfast and Dinner were both very good, plenty of choice and excellent selection of gluten free options.

Staff were fantastic, very clean, food was good 😋
We did have a problem with the room. If you have a problem with walking and balancing, make sure you mention it when booking. The manager did put us in a better room.
It was easy to find and close to where we needed to be the next day. Evening meal was delicious and good breakfast.
The staff were extremely friendly. The people in the town were also very friendly and willing to help with anything.
Nothing
The room was very comfortable, spotless and ,met my expectations. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and great value for money.
It was a pretty hotel in a lovely setting. Parking was easy and the breakfast both plentiful and very tasty.
There was nothing that we didn’t like about the hotel but it does need some TLC. The window shutters on the inside do limit the opportunity to open the windows for fresh air.
Lovey building and gardens. Staff and breakfast were great.
A bit tired in places.
Location, rooms, breakfast, friendly staff.
Nothing.
Lovely grounds, great hotel, comfy, spacious
Beautiful location, kind and attentive staff. Amazing food - both taste and presentation.
Nothing
Welcoming, friendly staff. Very pleasant dinner and breakfast. Would visit again, and thoroughly recommend.
Beautiful hotel Garden Rooms Staff Excellent

Very welcoming and efficient staff. Especially Molly who greeted us when we arrived. Comfortable room in a quiet location. We opted for cereal with fruit and yoghurt for breakfast but there was a wide range of cooked options including plenty for veggies.
The coffee at breakfast wasn’t good.
Molly was lovely from start to finish, we stayed the night before a family funeral, all the staff were very helpful Molly made us welcome and even running to get my Dad his daily newspaper in the morning! The hotel was a lovely setting for the wake.
If I wanted to pick a fault the room had lots of cobwebs that had been there a little while but nothing major.
Lovely old building, plenty of parking, Lovely staff and great food. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Would highly recommend.
Not a thing
Great breakfasts and staff
Food and service was excellent.
Excellent breakfast. Good quality food served.
Pillows and bed
Room very clean and comfortable, with Large fan which was invaluable in the heatwave, coffee and tea with biscuits provided. Towels in bathroom huge and good quality. Breakfast included in price was amazing and very pleasant staff.
nothing
Quaint old building, room nicely decorated and furnished
Breakfast. We did not receive our cooked breakfast. We gave up waiting after 45 minutes because we needed to leave to attend a wedding.
Welcoming and homely feel. Breakfast was exceptional, dinner was comforting and a stroll away to local amenities. Charming, picturesque and nourishing place to stay for the soul.
Findon manor is a lovely hotel overall . Our room a standard was smallish but very nicely appointed , lovely huge bath towels ,nice cups for tea and a fresh feel in terms of decor. We had dinner on the first night , good well cooked food and there was an interesting range of breakfast choices It also amused me that the rooms were named after local racehorses .my late father as a regular race goer would have liked to stay in a room named after a horse
The shower cubicle is quite small and as a medium sized person it was ok ,much larger than me might have a problem though .A very minor issue nowhere to hang the hand towel
Excellent breakfast made for us Supper outside was good
Bigger room
We had a lovely stay at Findon Manor over the weekend. We travelled from Cambridgeshire to attend a wedding at a local venue and there wasn't much choice when we booked but Findon Manor was perfect! We arrived late on Friday but the staff were welcoming and attentive. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and bath and a fan to keep us cool. The breakfast both mornings was delicious and very good value to be included in the price of the booking.
There were a few areas of the hotel that looked a little tired (a fresh coat of paint) but we didn't mind. I wish they turned the coffee machine on earlier so there were more options of coffee available than just filter.
The hotel is in a perfect location, it has a lovely garden, and the food is good quality and delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
The room was very hot during the heatwave we have had, there was a fan in the room but no air conditioning due to the age of the property which I understand. The bed was lumpy as well, so overall not a good 2 nights sleep.
Stayed here Monday 3rd Aug and family joined us for dinner. Staff were all lovely, shout out to Molly who looked after us very well! The chap who served us in the restaurant took my bro in law's banter and gave it back! Was very funny. Food at dinner and breakfast was superb all round. Great room as well.
Nothing. Was a lovely stay.
Location food staff
Charming hotel in a lovely friendly village and great breakfast!
Great greeting with detailed welcome to the Hotel and escorted to our room. Breakfast was 1st class, hot tasty and a good variety on offer.

Breakfast very nice
I felt that dinner was tuff and not really worth the price
An Honest review. Set in the loverly village of Findon this is a medium sized hotel, set on a large plot of land. Our room was spacious but at a cost of £170 a night it should be. The large bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. The negatives? Well, and I know it’s only a small issue, but the shower gel comes in a tiny tiny bottle, enough for one shower. I think most travellers would have a shower before the evening meal at the end of the day.. we asked for more and it was supplied so not really a problem, a larger dispenser would be a much better idea. We had an evening meal which was very nice, however staying midweek at one point we were the only people in the restaurant. Breakfast….wow!! One of the best best I have had for a long time, locally sourced produce well cooked to perfection. As a Gardener I was disappointed that the large and in their words well tended garden was a bit of a letdown. A sad reflection on would it could be. I feel sorry for those that use this hotel for weddings as it could be so much better. At the time of our stay the lawns were being used as a car park. These are just my observations, would I stay again? Yes. The hotel staff were all very friendly and attentive. The place was spotless and the food very nice that along with a comfortable bed more than made up for the very few negatives
The breakfast was beautiful The staff couldn't have done more
The room was a little small
Very friendly staff, nice room
The accomodation and chamber staff
The quality of the evening meal was at best acceptable, and over priced for what it was. The breakfast, I'd strongly advise the guest stays wuth traditional full English breakfast The chap serving the breakfast wore a grubby tree shirt and jeans. He'd have better placed doing the garden.
Nice towels Nice breakfast
Bed didn't meet my expectations for a superior room. Shower was weak. Base of bath is broken
Loved the breakfast. It was very very good
The olde world feel of the hotel was gorgeous, the staff from reception to breakfast waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable ( we had a superior double)
The hotel is a little bit out of the way, BUT, it is beautiful and the village is very pretty.
All very nice
No complaints
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great.
Nothing
Characterful, open, relaxed, garden, terrace
Rooms were great, lovely period property
Not necessarily “didn’t like” but there’s nowhere else to make the feedback- just some notes for review: - the menu on the website is out of date - there are two post codes for the property on line which confuses the satnav.
Zeer mooi ingerichte kamers, vriendelijk personeel.
The hotel has a warm and welcoming feel about it. The staff are friendly and polite. I love the atmosphere and the building itself. It’s like stepping back in time. Our bedroom was a beautiful surprise and we loved our four poster bed. The breakfast was fabulous 🤩We will definitely return for a longer visit.
Nothing really, just wished the shower was stronger and the extraction fan didn’t seem to work in the bathroom. Other than that, no complaints.
10/10 for location, room, dinner, breakfast, comfortable bed, spacious parking, lovely staff & decor of the rooms. Thank you, thank you - we will be back! Ideal hotel in ideal location close to other pubs and restaurants if you wanted wonder around.
you're perfect as you are
Wonderful stay, beautiful location, food and rooms, spacious parking
Beautiful quaint hotel. Great food and services.
Very nice, lovely village.
Charming property that has genuine style.
Staff seemed a little overwhelmed at times.
Friendly team. Simple check in. Lovely building. Good room. Great bed. Delicious breakfast. Car park right by entrance. Beautiful Village and area.
Delicious breakfast but… sausages and black pudding contained gluten; coffee weak! But great waitress, lovely setting
Quality of produce and choice.
Rather a long wait for cooked breakfast. Could have been hotter.
Booked hotel with confidence as have stayed several times over the years as have family in the area. Horrified to find heavily stained mattresses and pillows both in room we'd booked and the alternative room offered to us. Spoke to manager/director on phone who was extremely rude and said he didn't believe us even though the young gentleman on reception had seen for himself and explained to him. He said we weren't getting a refund and we could either stay in room we'd booked or leave. We chose to leave as wouldn't be sleeping in dirty beds, this left us 4 hours away from home with nowhere to stay. We sent an email requesting a refund and that we have photographic evidence should this be needed. The manager/ Director called us the following day and in a complete U turn agreed to a full refund which we have now received. It was bad enough to find the condition of the beds we were expected to pay to sleep in but to be spoken to in such a rude and frankly quiet aggressive manner was totally unacceptable and therefore would NEVER return to Findon Manor or recommend it.
Good breakfast. There seemed to be a lack of staff. Tables not cleared away left for some time before being clearing which is not a good impressive hen you walk into the restaurant initially. The staff member was pleasant when dealing with us. Liked the interior decor and overall the staff were very pleasant to deal with during our short stay.
There is a lovely outside area at the back of The Manor which has a lot of seating. However, the steps and the pavement require a good sweep and tidy. The garden overall needs maintaining better as it could be so much more appealing.
Stayed at the hotel for a wedding. Staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful! Facilities were great and had everything we needed. Despite check-in times, to fit in with the wedding we were able to check into our room early, which was so helpful.
Only complaint was the shower pressure was very poor. But hotel was clean and had everything we needed.
Lovely dated hotel . Sadly we had booked during the june heatwave . The rooms were plenty big enough. We were supplied with free standing fans. No air-conditioning supplied due to the old building. The breakfast was banging , sausages are to die for. Plenty of parking. Not far from our wedding venue we were attending .definitely recommend but book direct if you can .
Excellent food available throughout the day and evening
Nothing
Have stayed here several times over the years as have family in the area. Booked a 4 night stay in twin room. Arrived and checked in by a pleasant lady. Room appeared to be of the usual standard but later noticed some staining to the bed base, on closer inspection we were horrified to find really badly stained mattresses and pillows (no pillow protectors) Went to reception and spoke to a young gentleman who came to see for himself and agreed this was not acceptable and offered room change but to a double, we'd paid £60 extra for the twin room. Unfortunately the pillows in this room were also badly stained and therefore decided not to stay and asked for a refund. The gentleman began to process refund but couldn't and had to contact the manager, the phone was passed to me to speak to him. David was very rude and began to shout saying he didn't believe us and he wasn't giving us a refund our choice was to stay in room we'd booked or leave. We said we would be leaving. He said he'd inspect the rooms himself the following day and call me. We were left 4 hours away from home with nowhere to stay. We emailed the hotel to put in writing our request for full refund and reasons, also that we have photographic evidence should it be required. I called the hotel the following day to speak to David but he wasn't there and wasn't expected at the hotel that day. I asked the receptionist to get him to call me which he did with a totally different attitude and complete U turn agreed a full refund which we have now received. The whole experience was very upsetting and something I certainly didn't expect from what I have previously experienced from this hotel. Needless to say I would NEVER return to Findon Manor
Persone cordiali ed accoglienti, come l'atmosfera. Ben pulito. Cibo buono e locale. Il posto ideale per rilassarsi.
Piccoli inconvenienti subito superati. La struttura necessita di qualche attenzione in piu nella manutenzione.
Staff excellent
Room a bit cosy!
Great location and comfortable room. Excellent staff.
Nothing of note.
Staff were really accommodating and helpful with our requests. Breakfast was really good. Cute place. Thank you
Shower not that strong
Lovely upgraded room. More modern than last visit. Quiet location and good parking. Lovely bar area for evening meal. Cosy.
Tired communal spaces. Long wait for someone to come on reception.
Staff were very friendly and helpful Lovely gardens
The bedroom was very very small and scruffy and all the comunnial areas were very tired looking and scruffy
Hi We need to register our dissatisfaction with the management or owners of this hotel. We have many friends that live locally and Findon Manor was chosen as the venue for a wake in memory of our friend . We’d initially booked through booking.com to stay the night then had to alter the date, we’d paid an extra £20 for the privilege. The purpose for staying was to give the widower support and be close by. We had to change the date again and enquired directly in person at the hotel. They gave us a date where we could rebook. Went back to booking.com and were informed that as we’d changed once already they’d have to approach the hotel for permission . The hotel didn’t waste a minute in confirming no date change or refund or negotiation. So £200 goes into their pockets for nothing . I know what we think .
Wonderful staff very pleasant and helpful Supplied me with phone changer when needed Great room amazing breakfast Great parking Lovely friendly owner Any issues can be discussed with management And resolved quickly perfect 5*
JUST wanted to share that the current owner (might have been Tim, terrible memory for names) would appear to having a very stressful day with a wedding taking place at the hotel. Had an extremely aggressive manner on the phone - a great pity as this really is a lovely venue. All the staff were very helpful on all our previous dealings with then place. This just came across as extremely unprofessional and I felt he left an unfortunate sour taste. One should NEVER be rude or used a raised voice to a paying customer!! His partner was absolutely charming when we last stayed in October 2024. We were also very understanding when there was a roof leak into the bathroom in Harry Hotspur on the nigh of 9th October 2024. We appreciated the change in the bar carpet from beer stained and threadbare to something you could walk on without your feet sicking to it when you ordered drinks at the bar. They were also caught up in some sort of scam earlier this year - caused a bit of hassle for some customers I understand. My wife talked to Sophie about in some detail when she made a booking by phone direct with the hotel on 22nd Jan 2026. She is pretty unwell at present and she did not realise the hotel apparently has a 72 hour cancellation policy even though the email confirmation of from no-reply@guestline.net says cancel within 48hrs from 10.00 of your scheduled arrival date you will be charged the full amount.
The room and the facilities in the room.
Shower had no power
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good food
The location is lovely and the property has plenty of character. The breakfast was fantastic
The hotel is a little ‘tired’ with some areas needing attention. Whilst we appreciate the room rate reflects this some things in our room (Aldaniti) could be updated very easily. The headboard really needs a good clean as do the curtains!
Great breakfast, lovely staff, aesthetically pleasing on.a whole. Really comforted bed
The bathroom had a bad smell and the furniture in the lobby needs upholstering.
Breakfast was very good, there was a variety of breakfasts to meet all food differences. The staff wer friendly. The food was hot when given. Very very nice.
We did come a little late and the only food available was a roast dinner. This was a little too much to go to bed on, and a snack would have been better if it had been available.
Quiet room, good staff service, garden quiet and well laid out, ease of car parking
Hard mattress very uncomfortable, very soft pillows, shower OK but could have been a bit more powerful. Unfortunately only decaf teabags in room.
We stayed here during a family visit in Findon. Our family downsized and are no longer able to accommodate us. This alternative for us proved to be brilliant. The young owners are working very hard to create a beautiful country hotel. The breakfast was excellent , however, we did not try the evening meal as we were with family, but I'm sure it was good. The owners were very helpful which we appreciated very much and accommodated our needs and requirements . Nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff were all extremely friendly and the whole atmosphere was really relaxing . The interior is being created into a cozy and welcoming place to stay. Well done all! We will be back . Thank you Carolyn and Mervyn
