Holiday Inn Nanjing Aqua City by IHG

Super barulhento.

Service staff were outstanding. Room was spotless every day and details showed careful thoughts about our family group.

The swimming pool is a bit of a faff to access but more irritating is that it is not actually the hotel's. It is not made clear that this is actually a public swimming pool. We used it everyday between 3 and 7 and no matter when we arrived over the 4day stay, there were lessons in 2/3 of the pool. This left one lane only for those wanting to use the pool. I found this cramped and deeply annoying having paid the premium for a pool. At one session my 3 year old son and I were sharing a lane with 3 adult swimmers, two teenage swimmers (all trying to do lengths) and 2 other sets of parents and child. Meanwhile 6 students had lessons in the rest of the pool.

locate in the center of Nanjing

Everything else was disappointing. The hotel uses a centralized air conditioning system that kept the room at around 79°F (26°C) the entire time, and there was no way to lower the temperature. The room was unbearably hot, and it actually triggered my asthma. I asked the staff for help several times, but instead of solving the problem, they only provided a very noisy fan that did little to cool the room. They were unwilling or unable to offer any effective solution. To make matters worse, the windows could not be opened, so there was almost no ventilation. The room felt extremely stuffy and uncomfortable throughout my stay. For a hotel under the Holiday Inn brand, this was far below my expectations.

Location is very good, staff service was very good

Building is little bit old

We had a great stay at the hotel to visit Nanjing. As a family of 4 the hotel met our expectations and the location is perfect, it is so close to the town center! I recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nanjing. I want to thank the staff at the reception from the bottom of my heart for their precious help: our oldest son lost their mobile phone in the taxi when we arrived at the hotel. The hotel receptionist helped a lot to get in touch with the driver so we could get back the mobile phone. Thank you so much!

It met our expectations, was central and the room upgrade was excellent.

Clean and nice rooms with very good breakfast

All good

Everything is good.

Nothing really.

Good facilities, helpful staff and very good location

No native English TV channels

Me volvería a quedar aquí

Staffs are v helpful. Location to access to metro . The location are easy to access to many tourist places

Nil

Central location. Next to shopping centre and subway. Very friendly people at reception.

Breakfast is good and location is near many attractions

Like most of it

That the Gym was closed

Allowed us to checkout abit late so that won't be too early to go to airport

The room sound proof not so good cos can hear people open and close sound and talking outside during midnight.

Holiday Inn Nanjing Aqua City is a very convenient base, directly connected to Aqua City Mall, and just 5–10 minutes walk to the Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao) and Qinhuai River

Good location, good service.

Excellent location. Clean, pleasant room.

ottima colazione,

il lenzuolo era sporco quindi l'ho fatto cambiare...

Good

Reception staff very polite, and tried to ve helpful even when they could not speak English

I would have loved to be able to buy a nice coffee at the bar in the morning but the bar was never manned Plus more coffee sachets in the room would have been nicer

Great location was access to alot of Malls and restaurants / famous night market.

-Cleaner didn't clean the used cups. -Breakfast was cold all the time. Not a very enjoyable breakfast.

Tutto

Breakfast is wonderful everyday, location is also perfect!

The cups in the buffet at the hotel restaurant are very dirty

Average hotel

Location

Very nice location close to the main attractions and shops. The room was big and clean. The staff was helpful and professional, especially Vicky who supported me with a luggage delivery.

An excellent hotel with excellent facilities, friendly staff, and a great location. It surpassed our expectations and was extremely good value for money. We would gladly stay here again.

Nothing.

Ruime rustige kamer.

The room was very clean, quiet with nice view. The room temperature can be adjusted to comfortable level. The breakfast was terrific, providing abundant choices and the dining hall was very spacious . It was the best breakfast we had at hotels during our trip. The staff was very friendly and greeted us whenever they saw us. We locked our key in the room once and the front desk quickly provided another key for us.

great location, spacious room. good breakfast

nothing

Very convenience location, next to a big shopping mall. But entrance is small and looks dirty.

Good hotel, nice view, directly connected to the aqua city shopping mall. Close to nice places to eat out. Pool liked nice, didn't have time to use though.

The rooms need modernisation. Furniture and mattress are a bit worn out, technical infrastructure is outdated.

Great location, near for favourite place, many restuarant and shop in aqua city.

Breakfast, maybe I dont like chinese style food, exclude breakfast may better for foreigner and have late breakfast outside or in aqua city

Service is good . But hotel is old need a lot improvement . Ac is not cold enough . A lot place AC barely cool . I don’t think so it qualifies for 4 star hotel .
