We liked the location. The staff member when we arrived was great. The rest were so-so.

The view wasn't great but then we weren't there for the view.

The only thing wrong I arrived at 3.39 pm, they told me my room would be ready at 4pm. To take a seat and the would let me know. We'll 4 came and passed so at 445 I went back to the desk and they said it was ready. They should of told me when it was ready

In a great spot on the boardwalk along the coast and within a few minutes of the Main Street. The hotel rooms are very quiet despite the hotel being quite busy at times and the rooms are clean and well equipped.

The restaurant gets very busy for breakfast and the staff seem a little overwhelmed.

One of the mattresses had a stain on it. Other than that, everything else was perfect about the room.

This was one of the best Hotels we stayed at during our holiday.We invited our friends over for dinner.There was complimentary snacks and wine that you can pay for in the room.I had time to do our laundry in the laundry provided on the premises for only 3 Looneys per wash and 3 Looneys to dry.They have washing powder that you can buy on the premises

The bed was comfortable. Trio is a lovely restaurant. Elevators are quick. Nice view from room.

The room was not as clean as it usually has been when I stayed there. Stains on the carpet that looked like dog poop; dirty glasses; fridge door loaded with fingerprints and drips; dirty fronts on drawers. Inconsistent paid parking policy. I have stayed there at least ten times in the past two years and have never been charged for parking. When I spend over $300 a night on a room, I don't expect to pay $15 each night for parking especially when there is a huge lot on the property with ample room.

Große helle Räume/Suite mit schönem Hafenblick, für die Nacht komplett abdunkelbar. Leise Klimaanlage. Gute breite Betten. Prima Dusche. Gutes Restaurant „Trio“, in dem es auch Frühstück á la Carte gibt. Eggs Benedict und Continental Breakfast sind beide sehr empfehlenswert.

La beauté de la suite, la vue, l'emplacement. Cet établissement offre un petit plus pour notre chien: biscuits, couverture et bols sont dans la chambre à notre arrivée. C'est rare et grandement apprécié.

La chambre n'était pas prête à notre arrivée tardive mais le parking nous a été offert en compensation et le personnel était très gentil.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were served with a nice smile. All the questions we had were answered. So to us it was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at The Simon Hotel while celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and in a perfect location right on the Sydney waterfront. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were especially touched by the thoughtful anniversary treat waiting in our room—it was such a kind gesture that made our celebration even more special. We highly recommend The Simon Hotel and look forward to staying here again!

The front desk staff was amazing when I had to change rooms due to the a/c not working in.one

There was a bit of black mold in the grout in the shower

The first room was pumping out heat out of the air conditioner so it was hotter in the room than it was outside. The girl from the front desk came up and couldn’t handle the heat and started sweating immediately. The room also had two fans in the closet so clearly they knew the ac was bad. The water pressure in the shower was also barely usable so we changed rooms. Second room ac worked but water pressure although better was still sub par. We were going to spend 3 nights here but only stayed 1 night and cancelled the other 2 nights. Also furniture was not comfortable.

We really liked the Simon Hotel. The room was large and clean. Good elevator (which is not always the case in hotels).

What we did not like is that breakfast was not included and they charged us an extra $15 to park there. The only place on our 19 day vacation where we had to pay for parking. The price was a little steep for not having an included breakfast, which was $56 for the two of us in the hotel (tax & tip included).

We liked our stay but the Restaurant service was awful. We had to leave as well as noticing other families with small children leaving because of The long wait.. We could not wait despite asking the waiter a few times. The kitchen staff were too slow and seemed to be annoyed at the waiter for asking for the food. Especially since the restaurant was not that full, hence left to make our tour commitments…

Our room was lovely and overlooked the harbour. It was so clean, spacious and great for our 2 dogs. The bed was very comfortable

The only recommendation would be for the hotel to invest in some car chargers for guests with electric vehicles. As the chargers they directed us to at the building next door were all disabled.

Wir hatten eine große Suite mit reichlich Ablagen und einem tollen Blick aufs Wasser. Dusche und WC waren nochmal vom Badezimmer abgetrennt. Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien. Der Parkplatz war groß und direkt neben dem Hotel mit separatem Eingang zum Haupthaus.

Der Teppich in den Fluren ist bestimmt unempfindlich aber keine Augenweide.

The decor had been recently refreshed. The suite was a generous size and the location was ideal. We arrived before the posted check-in time and we were able to have access to the room early.

Some issues with the parking lot access. We were not able to exit without assistance from the staff and also when returning were not able to get the gate open to park. Staff accommodated us in another area and mentioned it was a new system. I am sure they will work out the issues soon.

The perfect location on the boardwalk made for a nice spot to sit with our morning coffee and a nice evening walk. After a long day of driving it was nice to have everything we wanted within a short walking distance

Easy check in and out. Very pleasant front desk staff. They are always accomodating. They waived the parking lot fee since I stay there every 2 to 3 months. Nice suite with lots of room. Excellent restaurant on site at Trio.

This was a great choice for Sydney... we got upgraded to a suite on arrival which was a nice touch from Erin, on the reception desk. This was spacious with large desk for working/eating and a comfortable kingsize bed and complimentary breakfast. . Also equipped with fridge and microwave, although no sink other than the one in the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant for one dinner and two breakfasts which were very good quality, although breakfast service on the first day was very slow - much better the second... The location was perfect for walking downtown as well as right on the boardwalk.

The hotel has a great location, with a walkway over the water right below. The views from the rooms are also fantastic; we could enjoy the sunrise and sunset directly from our rooms.

It would be nice if there was a small shelf or chair in the bathroom where I could temporarily put clothes and towels.

Excellent room with a harbor view - refurbished 2024. Nice restaurant. They charged me $15 per night for unsecured surface parking.

Staff were great.

Lots of hair in the room. Every time I walked around the room and went to the bathroom I would drag a lot of long hair as I couldn’t see on the carpet but clearly on the ceramic tile in the bathroom. Not appealing.

Overall very good.
