Loved the little patio space outside your room which gave you a sense of private out door space over looking the gardens. The common parts were lovely, book shelves and little nooks to take a coffee. The gardens were beautiful. The free bike hire was excellent and we cycled into town for dinner a couple of nights. The breakfast buffet was superb, the cakes a dream. Its a beautiful old italian villa that was lovely to stay in.

The restaurant had a complex menu no explanation of what the meal had in it, just a title for the dish which wasn't inspiring, very little vegetarian options and what we saw on plates as it came out, looked like tiny gourmet portions. So we never ate their even thought the pool side setting is lovely. At lunch you just want a big salad or light bites, not gourmet food. Same with dinner, hence the restaurant was empty they would benefit from a simple side menu of genuine italian lunch and dinner fare along with their gourmet offering. The hotel was on a buy road so make sure you book a room at the back of the hotel. Our room smelt very damp, but that could be a problem with the air conditioning, hard to tell.

Camerele sunt slab izolate , mobilier destul de vechi și un miros puternic de umezeală care a rămas inclusiv pe haine.

Very elegant hotel that offers lovely spaces to relax and enjoy a quiet morning & a late afternoon before & after the hustle and bustle of activities at the Lake. The whole team is gracious and kind. Breakfast included was delicious, plentiful and presented with care. Lunch & Dinner are offered and both highly recommended.

Room servicing was poor, didn’t top up tea or coffee, only powdered milk, toilet didn’t fully flush, shower head couldn’t be adjusted, empty toiletry packs.

Staff at the front desk could be better informed with regards to Taxi average prices, etc a taxi to Sirmione cost €27, however when I asked at the desk prior to the journey, I couldn’t even get a ball park figure from the attendant.

The A/C of the room was broken. They told us this was a problem at the whole hotel, and offer us just one fun. During summer the hot and warm is to high. Since that is not a problem from the guess, somo compensation should have been offered.

Wir haben in dem Hotel 7 Nächte mit unserer 3-jährigen Tochter verbracht. Wir waren begeistert: sehr zuvorkommende Mitarbeitende, sauber, toller beheizter Pool, sehr gutes Essen, kostenloser Parkplatz und vieles mehr. Alles was wir angefragt haben (z.B. Fahrräder mit Kindersitz) wurde ohne Aufpreis bereitgestellt. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr kinderfreundlich und haben im Restaurant immer was leckeres für unsere Tochter vorbereitet, obwohl es nicht auf der Speisekarte stand. Mein persönliches Highlight war der Jacuzzi auf dem Dach mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick.

Perfect location for Lake Garda, peaceful and swimming pool well received. Has own car parking underground. Delightful and helpful staff, friendly and informative. Food superb with great variety. Rooms comfy, not huge but perfect for our road trip and short stay. Definitely recommend.

Personalet var fantastisk og frokosten var veldig god! Hotellet lå perfekt til med gåavstand til sentrum av byen.

Kun sentralstyrt air condition, noe som gjorde at det var veldig varmt på rommet og ikke mulighet for å justere temperaturen selv.. helt klart problematisk når man skal sove i varmen.

Very old rooms. No functioning airconditioning, even after complaining. No coffee facilities in the room, only a kettle and instant caffeine-free coffee (when we complained, the next day they added one sachet of normal coffee). The fridge in the room did not work. Bathroom as adequate, but no more than that. At euro 350+ per night, it was not worth it.

Das Zimmer war i. o., aber nicht perfekt. Eine Ecke kaum nutzbar. Dafür waren wir sehr froh um Air Condition bei Temperaturen von bis zu 36 Grad. Insgesamte Hotelausstattung aber top.

Service was uitstekend. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Zeer ruime comfortabele kamers. Parking met valet service en mogelijkheid laden elketrische wagen wat heel praktisch was! Enig minpuntje was dat in een van de twee kamers die we geboekt hadden een ietwat muffe, vochtgeur hing die vooral altijd opviel bij het betreden van de kamer.

This is a beautiful, small family run hotel in a quiet location a few minutes from the centre of Desenzano Del Garda. Sadly, I was unwell when we were here. The hotel staff were great and organised a local GP for me. My family enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the grounds, pool areas and bar facilities. A 10 for us and a hotel we would definitely stay in again.

The location was excellent, just five minutes from town. 15 minutes walk to the train station and a bus stop one minute away. Easy to get to other places for day trips. That is why we chose it. The hotel is pretty and spotless. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good breakfast is available and the pool has sunny spots and shady places.

There was little to dislike. The only downside might be that the front garden has some traffic noise, but if that bothers you, you can move to the back where there is another pool.

Een heel mooi kleinschalig hotel met een prachtig zwembad tussen de bomen zodat je voldoende zon en schaduw hebt. Het ontbijt is zeer goed en er is voldoende keuze. De badkamer van onze kamer mag een kleine opfrissing hebben maar we waren al eerder hier en toen was deze zeer goed. Er is een ondergrondse garage die je gratis mag gebruiken.

Obsługa była niezwykle miła, uprzejma i zawsze chętna do pomocy. Lokalizacja również była bardzo dobra. Z przyjemnością wrócimy tu ponownie i gorąco polecam ten hotel.

Wir haben einen Geburtstag gefeiert während unserem Aufenthalt, eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit vom Hotel wäre eine nette Geste gewesen!

The villa has an exceptional gardens and pools. Staff are really friendly and accommodating and very professional. The atmosphere created was quite special. The evening dinner was excellent with a lovely atmosphere. The ambience created enabled us to have good conversations with other guests.

The hotel struggled with air conditioning mainly in the rooms. Understanding that it was unprecedentedly hot it is something they need to address. Being hot in the room is not pleasant.

Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt. Kostenlose Parkplätze auf dem Hof oder in der Tiefgarage, die Stadt ist Flussläufig in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Der Garten nach hinten ist ruhig und wunderschön. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Pool vorne ist zwar zur Straße raus aber durch die Grünanlage nicht einsehbar und trotzdem idyllisch. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker! Das Essen im Bistro ebenfalls lecker. Dadurch dass es ein kleines Hotel ist, weiß das Personal nach kurzer Zeit wer man ist, hier nochmal ein Lob an das Personal. Wir sind mit unserem 7 Monate alten Baby gereist und alles waren ganz zauberhaft zu und mit unserem Kind. Wir konnten wirklich richtig die Seele baumeln lassen.

Wenn ich was negatives benennen müsste, dann nur, dass der Service zu den Abendstunden auf dem Rooftop oder tagsüber am Pool ein wenig aufmerksamer sein könnte. Die Wartezeiten waren hier etwas länger.

Shortly after I booked I received a WhatsApp message pretending to be the hotel. They knew my family name and stay details. This was not from the hotel so I can only conclude that there is a data breach in their booking system. I was concerned about my passport details because they record passports when checking in.

The property is beautiful. There are 2 pools, surrounded by trees and greenery. It’s right across the street from the lake, so very easy lake access. Having the restaurant on site was wonderful for flexible lunches and dinners and the daily breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff were all wonderful. This was a wonderful stay for our Lake Garda vacation! Also, the hotel and restaurant are both dog friendly, which was perfect for our golden retriever.

We were there during a severe heat wave and the hotel a/c had difficulty keeping up in places. The lobby and restaurant were quite hot and our initial room was very warm. However, the staff kindly switched our room and then we were much more comfortable.

It has a pool which is nice to swim in. The garden is lovely. The staff are excellent. It’s about 10 mins walk to Desenzano.

The air con was a bit too noisy (on, off, on, off) and the room was rather compact.

Ein sehr hübsches Hotel mit sehr schöner individueller Ausstattung und einem wunderbaren Garten mit Oliven und Zitronenbäumen. Das Team ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Restaurant sehr empfehlenswert!

The room was lovely and although it faced the lake, it wasn’t noisy at all. All of the staff were very polite and friendly and willing to help if we needed anything. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Reception called us taxis when needed and gave advice on places to visit. Loved the rooftop terrace. Location 10 mins walk from ferry and centre so ideal.

The air con could have been better and there was people attending to try and make it better. Some areas could do with a refresh just to make it a bit nicer cosmetically. An iron in the room would be handy but we did manage to get a steamer from reception. We didn’t eat in the hotel on an evening as the menu didn’t have a lot of choice which was a shame as we would’ve loved to. None of these things would stop us from returning.

Der Empfang war überaus freundlich und das CheckIn sehr speditiv. Das Doppelzimmer mit Balkon auf die Gartenseite war freundlich eingerichtet und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Bad war modern und bestens ausgestatet. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und auch am Abend waren wir mit den gebotenen Speisen sehr zufrieden. Was uns alle überrascht hat, wie freundlich die Mitarbeiter im Allgemeinen waren, Kompliment, man fühlt sich willkommen. Hervorheben möchte ich Walter an der Rezeption, er hat sich um unsere Wünsche in no time gekümmert.

Eigentlich gar nichts

Wunderschöne und gepflegte Gartenanlage, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, top Lage nähe See und Altstadt. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer mit eigenem Whirlpool, einfach traumhaft. Zimmer, Terrasse und Whirlpool wurden jeden Tag top gereinigt. Reichhaltiges Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen.

Uns hat einfach alles gefallen, es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Absolutely nothing

As we were there for five nights this really needed to be a great place to stay and it excelled on all fronts! Great location, superb food and absolutely amazing staff - some of whom we saw regularly, and so got to chat to them more - they really made us feel welcomed and as though we were in a ‘home from home’. Room was wonderful, and the pools were very much appreciated in the hot weather. We were lucky enough to arrive as the Miglia 1000 went past and enjoyed a brilliant afternoon watching the race go past our front door! Very much an added bonus! Only 20 minutes walk to the railway station made getting out to other destinations a good option. Really hope we can return some day 😊

Very pleasant garden area with heated pool and nice shade from trees, and bigger regular pool at the front. Excellent staff. Convenient location only a few minutes walk from the town and lake, and a 5 min taxi ride to the railway station. Comprehensive and tasty breakfast.

While the breakfast is great, the same can unfortunately not be said about luch and dinner, which are more of average quality. The hotel management has a great opportunity for improvement in that area. Luckily there are several pretty good restaurants around town.

Loved our stay at Piccola Vela! The staff were amazing! We loved the pools and the location was good, walking distance into town and we even were able to hire bikes from them too! I got a massage at the spa which was lovely and the breakfast each morning was delicious! Massive shout out to Adam at the front desk for helping us with our hire car issues upon departure, we really appreciated all the effort he went to.

It's not that we didn't like this and nothing went wrong but I would say that it's probably better suited to older kids. We had our 8 and 5 year old daughters with us and the staff were really friendly and lovely to them but most of the guests had no children and the restaurant area was upscale, the vibe of the place seemed more posh which is totally fine, I just felt like my kids would make too much noise for the other guests.

Perfect location and beautifully kept hotel but it’s the staff that take it to the next level. Courteous and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.

The staff here is excellent- so very helpful in every regard- check in, helping book activities and cabs- even offering to drive us to train if we could not book one. The breakfast was just delicious- with eggs cooked to order and a delicious array of fruits, meats, cheeses, and homemade delicious treats. The rooms were spacious and clean, we had a deck to sit and enjoy the grounds. The grounds are beautiful with multiple pools and a beautiful rooftop with hot tub. Very much a beautiful garden atmosphere Great location- easy to walk to Lake Garda and downtown shopping, restaurants etc The hotel is appointed in a way to really make you feel like you are spoiled and on vacation. We loved it

Seems the rooms were not designed by a female or with any regard to females. We were two adult women- had to share one small mirror- no others in room. Lighting was dim, and no space in bathroom to leave or store bathroom supplies. Sorry, instead of 2 toilets, could have used some storage space and a larger mirror at least. Also no shower curtain - so lack of any privacy is a concern in this "family" room- plus water goes everywhere
