If planning to stay in Rome for more then two days I would stay here for the night you arrive and move somewhere else as to get to a lot of the main attractions you have to walk through the very busy train station every time which can be overwhelming and not very safe at night

The bed was horrible, 2 singulars bed together not a matrimonial bed!!! I complain at the reception the just put 2 bed sheets and thats it, 354 euros for that shit, i told the receptionist that we slept so bad becauss of the mattresses and the just apologize but they don’t tried to maybe fix giving us AT LEAST late check out… the wanted 40 euros, i work in a hilton and for me this kind of behaviors are unfair

The location was absolutely perfect! It’s literally across the street from the entrance to the train station and the metro station. The front desk staff was fantastic. The hotel isn’t fancy but it sure gets a job done.

Please do not book here, this place is a complete dumb. My bath was blocked and over flowed onto the floor, then the drainage in the ground was blocked with hair and white stuff. The mould was visible on the ceiling. Sent photos to the staff they did not even reply to me

El encontrar la habitación era un poco complicado era un laberinto. Mi habitación no tenía una ventana al exterior.

Il personale non potrebbe essere migliore. E la posizione è perfetta per chi deve prendere il treno o noleggiare un’auto.

Ci sono stati due aspetti strutturali che non ci sono piaciuti. Il primo è che il letto non era matrimoniale. Si trattava di due materassi che sembravano vecchi, messi uno accanto all’altro. Il secondo è che la doccia non scaricava bene l’acqua e il bagno si allagava. Un vero peccato. Ribadisco ancora una volta la gentilezza e la cordialità del personale.

Location was great, opposite to Termini main station, brilliant! Also closed to Santa Maria Maggiore that was. One of the landmarks we wanted to visit. The staff very helpful and nice, when we arrived it was very hot and the young lady at the reception offered us to refresh and leave the luggage. She helped us also a lot with the indications for the metro. Great

The staff very friendly and professional. The premise is clean and it serves the purpose across the street from Roma Termini train station.

The building is quite dated. Depending on which room is assigned corridor can be a maze.

The location is extremely convenient

The hotel doesn’t have much facilities and the rooms only had the basics. The bed wasn’t that comfortable, had some trouble with the shower regulating the water temperature, the room wasn’t super clean there were some stains on the bed and the floor.

Tout était parfait, l' emplacement tout près de la gare. L' accueil est très bien Chambre et salle de bain très propres Petit déjeuner complet.

Certains gâteaux au petit déjeuner étaient plutôt rassis.

La posizione è estremamente comoda, così come la reception h 24 e la possibilità di deposito bagagli.

Svariati dettagli in camera: non ci sono prese in camera da letto se non quelle del frigo e della tv, impossibile collegare il telefono in carica. Gli scarichi di doccia e lavandino erano intasati, il doccino della doccia non rimaneva appeso, l'acqua passa da gelida a rovente più volte nel corso di una doccia. Wi-fi non funzionante in camera. Dispenser del sapone nella doccia non funzionante.

It was in a great location & rooms were nice & clean

I contacted the Hotel via the booking.com app as I wanted to extend the booking for an extra night & add an extra person to the night already booked. When booking 2 people it was the same price as one. I got no reply so I contacted the Hotel directly. I asked if I could book an extra night for 2 people & add 1 person to the booking already made. I was told I could add the person but we would either need to upgrade our room & pay an extra €30 as the same room was not available the extra night or we would have to check out & check back in the next night. We were happy to do check out & check back in. When I checked in for the first night they told me it was going to cost an extra €30 for the extra person. I explained to them I had already contacted & was told it was ok but as I had nothing in writing I would have to pay. After a lot of arguing the staff member gave in & accepted the extra person but it is something that should have never happened as I did the right thing to make sure it was ok. If it wasn’t we may have booked the extra night somewhere else.

I Servizi erano in una situazione terribile. Il lavandino era otturato la doccia non riscaldava ed era anche quella otturata e il Water non scendeva bene l’acqua. Inoltre, eravamo due ospiti e la camera era adattata solo per uno.

At around 10 p.m. during my stay, someone repeatedly knocked on the door of my room. When I looked through the peephole, no one was there. A few minutes later, someone knocked again. What made the situation even more frightening was that there was no internal lock or security latch on the door. I tried to call the front desk using the phone in the room, but the phone line was disconnected. As a result, I had no choice but to use my own iPhone to make an international call to the hotel reception. I appreciate that the night staff responded quickly once I managed to contact them. However, the experience was extremely frightening, and I would never stay at this hotel again. I am also very concerned about the hotel’s security. The entrance is not automatically locked, which means that people from outside may potentially be able to enter the hotel. I strongly believe the hotel should improve its security measures, especially the entrance security and the locks on guest room doors. That night, I was so afraid that I moved the sofa and table in front of the door before going to sleep because the room had neither an automatic lock nor an internal security lock. （This was an extremely unsettling experience, and I hope the hotel takes these security concerns seriously for the safety of future guests.） 宿泊日22時ごろ、誰かが部屋を何回もノックしてきました。覗き窓覗いたら誰もおらず、数分後またノックされました。部屋には内鍵がありません。 あまりの恐怖に、フロントへ内線電話をしようとしたら、電話線が切れており、自身のiPhoneから国際電話を通して電話をするハメになりました。夜間スタッフは、迅速に対応してくれたことは良かったですが、恐怖のあまり、2度と泊まりたくありません。また、オートロックでもないので、治安の悪い外の人が、勝手に中に入ってこられてしまうこともなんとかしたほうがいいと思います。 （夜寝る時は、ソファーとテーブルで扉を塞ぎました。オートロックでもなく、内鍵もありません。）

住宿地點很棒，就在火車站旁，交通便利，鄰近有許多餐廳，車站地下商場也有超市，不論出遊或購物都很方便。

Appena entrato nell’atrio l’ultima volta ho notato scarafaggi che si muovevano tranquillamente, come se fosse casa loro. A quel punto ho deciso di non fare nemmeno il check-in: non me la sono sentita di affidare una notte di riposo a una struttura con questo livello di igiene. Gli interni erano sporchi e trascurati, altro che accoglienza. Prenotazione fatta per errore e cancellazione negata dopo 4 minuti dalla richiesta. Palese bisogno di soldi

No tiene bar ni restaurante en la locación y la recomendación que nos dieron era a 10 minutos caminando.

Bel emplacement à la sortie de la gare de train. De petits restaurants sympathiques tout autour. Un peu proche des spots à visiter. C'est le bon plan pour un séjour de qualité à Rome.

Proximité, propreté des lieux, variété des spots touristiques. Rome est vraiment une ville qui vaut le détour. Je recommande fortement. Au niveau transports publics, c'est top.

It is situated perfectly at termini train station to get about easily to see all tourist attractions in Rome, front of staff were amazingly helpful and friendly.

The breakfast wasn’t great but I think that’s just a cultural difference on my part.

Väldigt nära stationen. Bra läge i Rom. Sköna sängar. Bra att man kunde lämna in bagaget i låst rum både innan incheck och efter man har checkat ut om man behövde.

Vissa i personalen kunde vara lite trevligare men.

Naast treinstation Termini en op loopafstand van bezienswaardigheden. Ontbijt kost niet veel maar is toch vrij uitgebreid.

Continue gezoem van het koelkastje in een kastje in de kamer, zonder zichtbare schakelaar. Receptie heeft het op mijn verzoek uit laten zetten. Gehorig wat betreft watergebruik in de naaste kamer(s). Brood van het ontbijt harde korsten, geen losse melk. Bad vergt enige lenigheid, niet voor ieder (oudere) bereikbaar

The location is just across Roma Termini Via Marsala side. The area has police presence so it felt safe even at night. There are lots of restaurants and shops around the area.

Our room's ac was not working well and we had to request for an electric fan to keep the room cool. There was an elevated step after the reception going to the elevator which caused a minor accident for my husband.

En mi caso teníamos un tren al interior y estar frente a Termini nos dio la tranquilidad de llegar bien, lo mismo a la llegada, muchos buses paran en Termini desde el aeropuerto.

Por ser una estación central Termini, hay tanto movimiento de taxis y gente vendiendo cosas que son abrumadores. Pero era esperable, igual fue buena experiencia porque la zona se sentía segura

The room was a simple layover because trains were not running for the night. We arrived late at night and left early in the morning. As such a perfect solution.

Location is within the Roma Termini, so it was good, breakfast was fair and room is okay.

The first room they gave us was not conducive for people with disability and AC not working. One staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Need to look onto this; however, the afternoon staff were all good.

It was ok nothing great the rooms were clean but very dark with a tiny window.

We arrived 45 minutes before our check in time on one of the hottest days in Rome, we desperately wanted to shower so we could head out and enjoy our day. We was charged 20euros to check in early - the room was ready this should have just been given, not great customer service at all.

The hosts were so generous and accommodating. We had to book with them at the last minute after the other hotel could not store my medication and they let me store it at their hotel. They are very helpful

Posizione comodissima accanto alla stazione Termini. Quartiere trafficato, ma la camera era silenziosa. Buona comodità di letti, bagno, aria condizionata. Buon prezzo considerata la posizione.

Struttura un po' datata, sicuramente come stile non mi metteva simpatia, ma per una o due notti di appoggio mi sembra ottimo. Colazione migliorabile (soprattutto brioche e ciambelle non sembravano freschissime).

Posizione vicina alla stazione e comoda a tutti i mezzi. Stanza molto bella e staff molto accogliente .

Se state pensando di prenotare l’Hotel Madison, fatevi un favore: leggete fino in fondo e poi scegliete un altro hotel. Vi perderete letteralmente nei corridoi. Sono un vero labirinto, senza segnaletica chiara. Io sono italiano, conosco la lingua, eppure ho faticato più volte a ritrovare la mia stanza. Se succede a un cliente del posto, immaginate cosa vi aspetta se siete stranieri e stanchi dopo un viaggio. Non c’è acqua. Sembra assurdo ma è così: l’hotel non vende bottigliette d’acqua. Punto. Ti mandano alle macchinette al piano di sotto, ma se hai solo banconote — come capitato a me — la reception non è nemmeno in grado di darti il resto. Sono dovuto uscire in strada per comprare dell’acqua, in un hotel dove pago per dormire. Colazione? Solo se la prenoti in anticipo. Altro che relax in vacanza: devi organizzarti il giorno prima, mettere la sveglia, rispettare un orario fisso. Altrimenti niente colazione. Vi sembra normale in un hotel? Le camere sono minuscole e con vista pessima. La mia, singola, si affacciava su un desolante “cortile” interno — altro che soggiorno rilassante (foto in allegato, giudicate voi) Cari turisti, da italiano DOC vi dico, disorganizzazione, disservizi su cose basilari come l'acqua, zero flessibilità sulla colazione e camere deludenti. Ho pagato per un'esperienza che non consiglio a nessuno. Risparmiatevi tempo e nervi: scegliete un altro hotel

Some of the facilities like the bathrooms were a bit dirty. My shower drain was clogged and then flooded the bathroom. The sheets were also ripped slightly.

The location was amazing for exploring Rome - only 3 minutes on the metro then a 8 minute walk to trevi fountain or 6 minutes on the metro to the Colosseum. Right next to Termini which is the main train station which made everywhere easily accessible which was a great start. The hotel itself was generally functional. Unfortunately, the positive aspects of the stay were overshadowed by the issues experienced on the final night.

Unfortunately, our final night was extremely disappointing. At approximately 3am, the building-wide fire alarm sounded for around 11 minutes. There were no announcements or instructions from staff, so approximately 60 guests evacuated the building themselves. When we reached the front of the hotel, reception appeared to be unattended and had a “Be right back” sign displayed. We were left outside for around five minutes with no staff member providing information, reassurance or instructions about what was happening or when it was safe to return. We were eventually told it was a false alarm caused by a guest smoking in a room. I completely understand that the alarm itself may have been outside the hotel’s control, but the lack of staff assistance and communication during what could reasonably have been a genuine emergency was extremely concerning. After returning inside, I requested a late checkout due to the significant loss of sleep. I was told I would have to return to reception at 7am to see if this was possible, which I did not consider reasonable after already being disturbed during the night. There were also several room issues, including an unclean bidet spray, a significant stain on the shower floor, an inconsistent shower temperature, a countertop around the sink that appeared to be lifting, dripping noises from the air conditioning and very poor soundproofing. I had initially been willing to overlook the room issues as normal wear and tear, but combined with the handling of the overnight alarm, they resulted in a very disappointing stay. The fact that this happened on our final night before an 11am checkout made it particularly frustrating.

Trying to appear contemporary and cool but still a worn out hotel at the core . Lots of perky and irritating emails proclaiming to provide service : yet it took three in person requests and three hours to get towels for the room. Staff always were friendly but I'd rather have efficiency !

Saubere, einfache Unterkunft, die ihren Preis wert ist. Obwohl es direkt neben dem Bahnhof ist, nicht sehr laut. Optimal, wenn man was einfaches direkt in Bahnhofsnähe sucht.
