Great location, and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast which I was able to have slightly earlier to fit with when I needed to leave. Single room was a reasonable size.

best part was being able to get to and from SMN and close to my wife's favorite wine window.

bathroom was real small A/C tough to get in a comfort zone, but more so no mini fridge. even though this site said there was.

Närheten till tågstation, alla sevärdheter inom promenadavstånd. Mycket god, modern och trevlig frukost i cafeterian som hotellet använde sig av. Vänlig personal som tipsade om olika sevärdheter och restauranger.

Huoneen ilmastointilaite piti todella kovaa ääntä ja puhalluksen lujuutta ei saanut muutettua, säätönä joko päällä tai pois. Lämpötilaa pystyi kuitenkin säätämään ja huone pysyi mukavan viileänä. Huoneen sänky oli ok, mutta muilta osin kaipaisi ehostamista, sillä pinttynyttä likaa oli paljon ja huone haisi, etenkin kylpyhuoneen puolelta.

We were greeted every day by friendly, kind and helpful staff. They provided so much help and recommendations. Breakfast staff were wonderful. They remembered our favourite drinks day after day, and so polite.

Très bruyant, les chambres donnent sur un carrefour où les véhicules circulent en continu. Un peu plus calme la nuit mais boules quies obligatoires et réveil des 6-7h. Aucun charme pour les chambres, ça reste fonctionnel.

Hotel was 5 minutes from the Santa Maria Novella Train Station quiet street with nice restaurants and a good Irish Bar two minutes away. The breakfast was very good in the attached modern cafe. The staff are friendly and very helpful

Room was a bit smaller than expected, bed was two singles together when I booked a large double.

La cercanía a la estación de tren y la atención de todo el personal del mostrador. El desayuno excelente, mucho más de lo que esperaba y me sorprendió gratamente. La calidad de los productos y la excelente atención de los baristas es para destacar y agradecer.

Todo estuvo bien pero tal vez requiere en algún momento una renovación de la decoración y el mobiliario de la habitación.

Eu fiquei em um quarto com cama de solteiro e a experiencia foi excelente. A localização é perfeita. Fica literalmente ao lado da estação de Trem e de um Carrefour. O que permitiu meu rápido deslocamento e a possibilidade de comprar alimentos. Assim como ao lado tem um dos melhores restaurantes o que não necessita se deslocar até o centrinho.

Infelizmente no primeiro dia o ar condicionado ficou pingando a noite inteira. Eles tentaram me colocar em outro quarto mas o hotel estava lotado. Fizeram de tudo para aumentar o meu conforto. No dia seguinte já estava tudo resolvido!

Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit Gipfeli, Brot, Joghurt, Fleisch, Käse, ... einfach alles was man braucht. Super Lage, direkt neben dem Bahnhof. Wir sind am Morgen angekommen und konnten gerade unsere Rucksäcke im Hotel abgeben und die Stadt anschauen gehen. Direkt neben dem Hotel hat es eine super günstige Gelateria!

Das Badezimmer könnte mal eine Renovation vertragen. Es ist voll funktionstüchtig, jedoch nicht mehr extrem schön, was uns aber für eine Nacht nicht weiter störte.

Es cómodo, está muy bien situado y tiene buen aire acondicionado.

Très bien situé, près de la gare. Il y a un ascenseur fonctionnel, très pratique pour monter les valises, car en Italie il n'y en a pas dans tous les hébergements. Le personnel était très gentil et nous a proposé de nous renseigner si nous avions besoin pour visiter la ville. Le déjeuner était très bien et diversifié, pas seulement des croissants. Le style est colonial et nous avons aimé le cachet que ça donne.

La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans une de nos 3 chambres.

Die Lage war perfekt , direkt am Bahnhof Santa Maria Novella, das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich, das Zimmer groß und sauber mit funktionierender Klimaanlage, das Frühstück war reichlich und es gab Café für jeden Geschmack, ich würde immer wieder kommen !

The location close to the train station and touristic office was perfect, and not as noisy as it might have been because the windows were very efficient in my room facing the street. Having a desk was great. Breakfast featured a selection of fruit and good coffee.

No vegan options at breakfast. The central AC was nice, but could not be turned down in the room.

Ideal ist die Lage ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Santa Maria Novella, sowohl für Bahnreisende als auch für Flugreisende (direkte Tramverbindung von Peretola zum Bahnhof für 1,70 Euro). Das Viertel ist lebendig und reich an gastronomischen Möglichkeiten, der Dom und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß rasch zu erreichen. Ich hatte ein ruhiges Zimmer im dritten Stock mit für mich ausreichendem Komfort, alles war sauber und zweckmäßig. Ein ganz besonderes Plus war die ausgezeichnete Klimaanlage, die durchgehend lief (auch wenn man nicht im Zimmer und die Hotelkarte nicht eingesteckt war), bei 40 Grad Außentemperatur eine echte Wohltat! Sehr freundliches und entgegenkommendes Personal! Praktisch nicht zuletzt die Möglichkeit, vor dem Check-in oder nach dem Check-out das Gepäck beaufsichtigt "parken" zu können. Natürlich kein Luxushotel, aber ein solider Dreisterner mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Was ich mir gewünscht hätte: mehr Wasserdruck aus der Dusche (ist aber anderswo oft auch nicht besser).

Rumorosa e per la clientela e per il personale. Una perdita in bagno all’altezza del lavandino. Un’accoglienza alla reception e la mattina a colazione quasi offensiva. Una offerta a colazione tra le più scarse mai viste.

We loved our 9 day stay here. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly- especially Albie! The rooms were cleaned daily and the room, while simple, had everything we needed. The location of Hotel Boccaccio was also superb. We went on several day trips to escape the summer heat and it was fantastic being able to walk 5 mins to Santa Maria Novella. It was also just a short walk to the Duomo and the centre of Florence. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I next come to Florence.

The only small thing was the choice of breakfast. As we were stayed for quite a while- it did become a little repetitive but this is just a minor issue and did not impact our stay.

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut, da es direkt am Hauptbahnhof gelegen ist und man innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum sein konnte. Die Größe des Zimmers war für 2 Personen auch mehr als genug und es gab einen Minikühlschrank und eine Klimaanlage; perfekt bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen! Das Personal war auch sehr nett und entgegenkommend.

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war leider sehr schwach. Es hat zum Duschen zwar gereicht, aber es hätte definitiv stärker sein können. Zudem gab es im Bad leider auch keine Haken oder ähnliches um die Handtücher aufzuhängen. Es gab nur eines für ein kleines Handtuch, aber keine für die großen Handtücher. Die Wände zu den anderen Zimmern und zum Gang waren recht dünn und hellhörig, aber nachts beim Schlafen gab es dann zum Glück keine Probleme. Was mich leider sehr gestört hat, war, dass der Holzdielenboden im Zimmer sehr glatt und somit sehr rutschig war. Mein Freund und ich wären des öfteren ausgerutscht und hätten uns verletzt, wenn wir uns im letzten Moment nicht aufgefangen hätten.

The staff at Hotel Boccaccio were some of the nicest people we came across in our travels! Every single one of them went out of their way to smile, say hi, and ask if they could help in anyway. They made recommendations of places to tour, things to eat and how best to get there. They stored our luggage for us after checking out in a secure area so we could continue to tour Florence. When our train was delayed they turned on the lights and a/c in the breakfast area so we could relax comfortably while we waited. They were the absolute nicest people and the hotel was great!

A localização é excelente perto da estação de trem. Dava para ir para todos os atrativos andando. Nas proximidades tem um mercadinho, lavanderia, restaurantes, etc. O quarto não tem luxo mas é muito limpo e confortável e os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e atenciosos .

Près de la gare, du tram 2 qui va à l'aéroport et proche du centre ville (15 à 20mn à pied). Mais, comme tous les quartiers proches des gares, environnement un peu "glauque" la nuit. Le petit déjeuner était juste correct. Nous avons eu beaucoup mieux à Florence.

Above expectations. When we found this hotel we thought we would end up in a closet with maybe a fan serving as AC, given the price. We were very surprised and happy about everything about this place. The staff is beyond friendly. Room was very comfortable and the AC was the best we’ve experienced in all of Europe, honestly. Sure the room is a bit aged but the shower was great, bed was comfortable and even though is very close to Florence Santa Maria station and a busy street we weren’t bothered by the traffic one bit. It’s close to all the sights and transportation. The breakfast was also good. We expected maybe a cornetto and some coffee, but we had eggs, bread is different sorts, yogurt, cereal and juice. All in all a great experience and I would gladly recommend this hotel.

All'arrivo mi è stato detto, senza che io lo chiedessi, che alla mia partenza, visto che dovevo partire presto, mi avrebbero fatto trovare un box per la colazione da portare via ma non è stato così, anche se il ragazzo la mattina mi ha comunque fatto un caffè al volo.

Quand je suis arrivée, l'accueil m'a annoncé "une belle chambre au 1er". Mais c'était pas seulement la chambre, mais le fait que ma chambre a donnée sur une grande espace de terrasse au toit. Donc le soir, quand je suis rentrée de ma visite de la ville, j'ai pu passer quelques heures dans la belle pénombre pour reprendre ma souffre et à peindre et à écrire des notes dans un cahier sur ma journée en profitant de la tranquillité de cette terrasse privée. Je conseille fortement la chambre 101 pour cela! MERCI. Cela a rajouté une note un peu magique à ma visite de Firenze.

Le parfum du gel douche était un peu fort. Mais ça va.

The location was perfect; just a short walk from the train station and main sites. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing; perfect start to the day.

There could have been more toiletries (toilet paper) and the fridge in the room did not work, but everything else was perfect for us.

V minulosti jsem tento hotel už vícekrát využil při svých návštěvách Florencie a vždy jsem spokojený. Hotel je velmi blízko vlakového nádraží SMN a zároveň je to blízko do centra města. Personál je velmi milý a kdykoliv Vám rádi se vším pomohou. Je velmi milé , když přijedete na hotel a zaměstnanci si Vás pamatují a mile Vás přivítají. Pokoje jsou vždy krásně čisté a perfektně uklizené. Na snídani je výběr jak sladkého i slaného , takže si určitě vybere každý. Rád se zase do tohoto hotelu vrátím.

Upon arrival at 10 am to ask to store my bag until check-in , the man at the reception welcomed me with a handshake. He then told me my room was ready and I could go on up. The room was clean and they had a white noise machine to help block out the sound of the street. The breakfast was acceptable and the coffee excellent. Great value.

One receptionist was a bit of a dink but all in all he was helpful. Cool guy in the end (Italians like to roll their eyes at you if you do something they deem stupid lol)

Single room a little small.

As soon as we stepped foot into this hotel, our reception host Albie greeted us with a ‘big friendly’ smile and was very very accommodating! He was very helpful in suggesting a restaurant for dinner and provided a map of the city, thus explaining the major attractions. The included breakfast was delicious (especially the croissants) and the coffee was excellent! The attractions were within walking distance and the laundromat was just down the street. All in all, had a great experience with this hotel! Thank you for everything Albie!!
