Across from a night club felt like you were in a low life area not safe. Thoughts night and morning club open all hours

That room should of or used to be closet , They should warn people "this is not a room but a closet we offer you!!!" Partial elevator to floors, but they had someone helping otherwise first 20 stiff steps are on you!.

The staff were friendly, informative and kind! The property was in a perfect location! Breakfast was yummy, day tea and coffee service and happy hour were incredible, what more could you want?

The staff was the most exceptional staff i have ever encountered. Able to give recommendations , call the taxi but... even more... they helped us navigate the national train strike. The day we were to leave there was a strike and our train was not guaranteed. We were able to get the tickets changed to a guaranteed time and left Florence for Cinque Terre arriving without issue. I do not recommend reserving the small room unless you are alone and plan to be out a lot ot it very small.. But could not be happier with the perfect location and extraordinary staff!

Having to climb one flight of stairs. Bathroom big but the tub is deep and difficult to get in and out. An extra grab bar would help.

El desayuno con poca variedad, aunque te preparan el café en ese mismo momento y es bastante bueno. Y que tiene 26 escalones que subir sí o sí con el equipaje. Por lo demás, genial.

There are a bunch of steps before you reach the elevator. It was not a problem for us however it might be something you need to consider if you have issues climbing a flight of stairs.

The location is fantastic. The staff are incredibly helpful and simpatico. The rooms are very clean. The bathroom is spacious. In sum, the hotel offers excellent value for the price.

It sounds picky, but the pillows were a bit hard. My room looked onto an interior courtyard, so was dark, but I guess Florence architecture does not allow otherwise!

Nos encantó el trato de todo el personal. La ubicación es ideal, está en pleno centro. Si volvemos a Florencia, no dudamos en regresar al Jotel Davanzati.

La ubicación es excelente y el trato con el personal, son amables y simpáticos. El detalle de la “happy hour” , es de agradecer.

La habitación era muy pequeña y no me gusta ese tipo de decoración antigua.

トイレが給水されずにボタンを押しても流れなかった。夜中だったが女性のスタッフの方が5分程作業してくれたが、直らず。一度流れたが、その後タンクから給水し続けており朝までずっとトイレの給水の音がなっていた。 また、洗面台の栓が最初から閉まっており、それも併せてスタッフの方に見ていただいたが栓は開かず、洗面台を使えない状態になった。 翌朝、チェックアウト時のスタッフの方には特に何も引き継ぎされていないようだった。

Quando eu cheguei, percebi que havia deixado no taxi uma sacola. O Ângelo foi muito solicito e ligou para as cias de taxi para informar a perda. Claro que não achamos, a atitude dele foi muito proativa.

The property and the staff were lovely! There is a small set of stairs leading up to the lobby, but it’s nothing compared to climbing the Duomo! The main lobby is beautiful and clean, and the dining area is always stocked with drinking water after a long day of walking in the summer heat. We especially appreciated Leonardo for his kindness and recommendations!

The air conditioning was great, the room was comfortable and we loved the breakfast being included.

The stairs were the only negative thing but it really was not a big deal at all!

Hotel Davanzati was everything! We were greeted with smiles from the most amazing staff. Great location, comfortable beds, and a cozy stay. We were amazed at how friendly all the staff were. Coffee/light breakfast in the morning, and aperitivo in the evening all included in the price of the stay. Simply wonderful!! I would stay here again if I return to Florence.

The reception team were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They couldn't be more accomodating! Central location - walk outside your door and you are in the heart of the action. Rooms were a great size, clean and comfortable - love the big windows opening onto the street.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very accommodating with our early mornings - still offering breakfast even though it was before the breakfast time. Helpful with bringing our luggage up the steep stairs. The little happy hour was thoughtful too. Our bathroom was spacious with natural light. Area was quiet and good location. AC was good. Price was right.

Although we are accustomed to small hotel rooms in Europe, this would have felt rather cramped if we were staying longer than two nights.

Loved how the staff pays attention to small details. They are always willing to accommodate their customers. Historical building with lovely decor. Great breakfast and a lovely aperitif hour every evening. There is a long stairway to get to reception however you ring the bell and one of the staff comes down and takes your luggage up. We didn't find it a problem. However, it could be difficult for those with walking or medical challenges.

This is a very nice hotel. Great breakfast, included with the room. The room was clean and the most comfortable bed we had on our recent Italy trip. Location is right in the heart of all the major sites.

I didn't mind, but you do have to walk up a long flight of stairs to get to the front desk.

The staff was exceptional and very helpful. The facilities were clean and the breakfast servers were very accommodating. The location of this hotel was also convenient and we were able to walk everywhere in Florence.

The front desk was amazing. They help us and treat us great. The location was dead center to everything. We had a car and so we paid for the parking and it was not bad. Overall I will be staying there again.

We were greeted warmly every time we entered and every morning. The rooms were comfortable, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good. It was a well located place. Very nice.

Not much to dislike. There was an elevator but not until after stairs but the staff did ask they could to help with that. They carried luggage.

It was fine but a bit tired. Pervading smell of drains.

This charming hotel right in the center of historic Florence had the most attentive staff. And the wonderful breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee and cakes, and the evening complimentary wines were an added surprise.

The only negative is that we had to climb about 25 steps to reach the lobby. But staff carried our luggage both up and down for us.

Me and my partner are doing a bus tour around Italy and this has been our favourite accommodation so far. Main pointers: -The location of the hotel is perfect (if you are looking to be right in the centre of Florence), -The staff were SO friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay, -The room was comfy, clean, had great aircon and was aesthetically cute, -The included breakfast, tea and biscuit time and happy hour was AMAZING. Based on all of this it is SO worth the price. We absolutely loved our stay here and want to come back lol🫧🧚‍♀️🌷🌸❤️

Staff was extremely helpful & friendly. Hotel was in a great location. Breakfast was really good & I usually skip breakfast but selection of cheeses, meats & fresh fruit was delicious. They have espresso, etal but i’m not a coffee person but everyone else seemed to enjoy. They have an afternoon tea, coffee & danish and then an evening happy hour - all included. Water was always available. When I was checking out I noticed they have insulated water/beverage thermoses & I meant to get one & am sad I forgot. The room was perfect. Comfortable bed, TV, small frig and very clean. Security for their guests is a priority. Highly recommend.

Great staff, room was a bit odd and dated. The staff and location are a bright spot and they are willing to accommodate luggage holding.

It felt a bit off and dated. There were some things that felt unclean. It is not bad for a short stay but for a longer, it may be worth considering a different place.
