Staff were really friendly and managed to arrange the same room when we extended our stay so we didn't have to move rooms. We never made it to breakfast so cannot talk about that. The room was very spacious and the third bed was great to store our suitcases.
The only thing I would improve is the shower. While the shower cubicle was spacious, the actual shower was oddly positioned so that the flow of water was not ideal for washing and the shower head kept sliding down.

Somehow air conditioning stopped in the morning and was hot. We checked out anyway so not a big problem.

Camera con tutto il necessario; aria condizionata silenziosa e colazione varia sia nel dolce che nel salato. Personale gentile e disponibile.

My “large” double room was in fact a quite small windowless room, nothing like the picture.The shower was tiny and moldy. Totally non English speaking staff. Friendly but not of much assistance.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Lovely lobby, great breakfast, endearing and helpful staff. The Hotel Corso made the entire stay in Orvieto worthwhile in spite of the near 100° weather that we faced for the entire time we were there.
The mattress was a touch too soft for our taste and the air conditioning did not seem to be adjustable. Otherwise bathroom room service and bedroom were spectacular

Room price is too high for the offered solution. It was hard to see the staff smiling... Check in and check out were not the best possible especially for the early set breackfast and the late availability of room.

Insonorizzazione PESSIMA, sono stata svegliata molte volte durante la notte (molte, ma anche 30 volte) perchè, non essendoci una porta che separa l'atrio del primo piano (piano stanze) e la reception, ad ogni entrata/uscita dal portone principale, la chiusura della porta rimbomba in tutto l'hotel. In più, nell'atrio 1' piano e presumo anche 2', ci sono circa 5 o 6 porte di stanze, si sente tutto; si sente la voce degli altri ad ogni ora e soprattutto, se vi capita come è capitato a me, di avere dei vicini iperattivi beh, aspettatevi di passare la notte in bianco o quasi, perché il rumore delle porte che si chiudono rimbombano, ed è insopportabile; visto il problema evidente dovrebbero mettere in conto la fornitura di tappi per le orecchie in ogni stanza. Visti i 150€ a notte, mi aspettavo almeno un kit di benvenuto o almeno una bottiglietta d'acqua, invece c'era frigobar a pagamento. Dimensione della stanza: molto piccol ed inoltre la pulizia lasciava un po' a desiderare..

Завтрак стандартный итальянский - пироги и булочки, также кофе, пару видов ветчины и колбасы,отварные яйца, кофе. Если вы на авто, можно подъехать, разгрузить багаж и потом отогнать машину на парковку. Мы воспользовались платной парковкой от отеля, 12 евро сутки.

Near to many bars and restaurants very good vegetarian one Vis a Vis nearby. It met our needs for a three day stay, obviously the hotel was subject to a thorough makeover not too long ago.
Not much English spoken, but enough. Breakfast good if you focus on cakes Italian style. Parking a 5 to10 minute walk (but you can drop bags off at the hotel first).

Camas de solteiro poderiam ser um pouco mais largas, são muito estreitas.

Location is absolutely perfect for the city - about a 5 minute walk up the Main Street from the funicular - any more is too long to drag luggage, any less too far away from the center. Would absolutely choose this hotel again - wish we had more than 1 night in the city, it is absolutely charming and beautiful.
Some fixtures and appliances were a bit dated - only reason for the 9/10. For the value it was far better than expected.

Reviewed May 27, 2026Excellent hotel right on the central street in town. Great bonus was parking in front of the hotel (limited number of parking lots, but right at the door. Night concierge was very helpful on the phone and processed ZTL right away late at night when we arrived. Great value during the soft beginning of the high season. We were able to leave the luggage and enjoy the walk in town in the morning before continuing on our way.
Breakfast was typical Italian continental, but can be improved.

The hotel is conveniently located right on the main Corso (walking street) of the town. The hotel was also very helpful with parking since we had a rental car. €12 for an overnight car park. The staff at the hotel was warm and helpful.
The small breakfast room could use some updating to make it more cheery and welcoming.

In my room, there was a step up into the bathroom - which I forgot about in the middle of the night and ended up fracturing my foot. Totally not the hotel's fault, but if you're clumsy like me, make sure to ask for a room that has a flat entry bathroom :)

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026L’hotel si trova in una posizione centrale, da cui ci si può spostare a piede e raggiungere i principali luoghi d’interesse della splendida Orvieto: comdo anche il parcheggio. Le camere sono arredate con gusto e sono confortevoli. Il personale è molto gentile, la colazione ottima.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026Posizione eccellente sul Corso principale di Orvieto. Dopo un qui pro quo iniziale sull'assegnazione della camera alla reception hanno risolto egregiamente il problema. Ottima colazione e disponibilità della signora che serviva in sala colazione che ancora ringraziamo per la cortesia e disponibilità
Letti un pò troppo soffici il matromoniale e durissimi quelli a castello

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026La posizione e l’arredo della stanza, pulita e confortevole. Il garage convenzionato è molto utile, visto che l’albergo si trova in una ztl. La colazione è gustosa ed anche varia, tenuto conto delle dimensioni dell’albergo.
Il bagno è veramente piccolo, e la vasca con doccia non ha una paretina. Alcuni benefit pubblicizzati non erano presenti, come il bollitore in camera.
