Nuestra experiencia con el hotel no fue buena debido a una noche en la que prácticamente no pudimos dormir. Durante la noche sufrimos un ruido/zumbido que se repetía aproximadamente cada 5-10 minutos y que nos impedía descansar. Avisamos a recepción y el recepcionista acudió a la habitación en tres ocasiones. El problema es que estaba solo en recepción y tenía que volver, por lo que no pudo permanecer en la habitación el tiempo suficiente para escuchar el ruido cuando se producía. Lo que más nos ha decepcionado, incluso más que el propio problema, ha sido la respuesta posterior del manager. A pesar de haber explicado lo ocurrido y de haber enviado grabaciones del ruido, se nos comunica que no se encontró ningún ruido y que no se ofrecerá ninguna compensación. Consideramos que el hecho de que el ruido no se detectara durante una breve comprobación no significa que no existiera, especialmente cuando nosotros lo sufrimos repetidamente durante la noche. Además, se nos ofreció un desayuno como gesto de buena voluntad. Agradecemos el gesto, pero el desayuno no compensa una noche sin poder descansar. Nosotros reservamos una habitación de hotel para dormir y descansar antes de nuestro viaje, no para desayunar. Queremos destacar que el personal de recepción fue muy amable y trató de ayudarnos dentro de sus posibilidades. Nuestra crítica se refiere principalmente a la gestión posterior de la reclamación y, especialmente, a la respuesta del manager, que nos hizo sentir que se ponía en duda nuestra experiencia. Una pena, porque el trato del personal fue excelente, pero la manera en la que se gestionó nuestra reclamación hizo que nuestra experiencia final fuera muy negativa.

Room was comfortable and clean short walking distance from the main high street and underground. Was able to find nice restaurants for meals. Would have stayed extra night but hotel was fully booked.

Excellent boutique hotel in a great location close to tube. Perfect for our overnight stay to celebrate my wifes birthday and our 38th wedding anniversary to enjoy afternoon tea at the Shard, see Sam Smith at the London Coliseum and lunch at Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen at 22 bishopsgate. The room was comfortable and very clean. Everything worked and functioned it should, bathroom was well stocked with amenities etc. Would definitely stay again.

Exzellente Lage nahe der Station Earls Court - direkte Zugverbindung zum Flughafen Heathrow. Leicht zu finden; Geschäfte für den Alltag in unmittelbarer Nähe. Schönes, modernisiertes Zimmer, Bett sehr bequem. Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Frühstück immer aufgefüllt, toller Frühstückssaal. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Leider sehr zugig und kühl im Zimmer, trotz Fenster zu, Vorhänge zu und Klimaanlage aus. Die Knöpfe neben den Betten zum Lichtsteuerung haben leider durchgängig geleuchtet, was eine völlig Verdunkelung nicht möglich machte. Mein Zimmer lag in Aufzugsnähe, man hört leider die Geräusche vom Gang recht deutlich. Das Bad ist sehr eng, hauptsächlich für kleine und schlanke Personen gedacht.

The staff were wonderful, very helpful with taxi service and having the room ready for a slightly early arrival. The room was clean and comfortable, small but roomy enough for our short stay.

Fick ett mycket sämre rum än jag förväntat mig och betalt för. Rummet var i källarplan med ett litet vädringsfönster. Jag klagade i receptionen då rummet skulle ha varit ett bättre rum. Efter en del tjat fick jag ett bättre rum den andra natten.

Les equipements sont assez modernes, sauf un chauffage bloqué et non réglable de la salle de Bain à 32°C, et vu que c'est trés proche de la chambre il faisait trés chaud dans la chambre

La posizione e la camera moderna, cosa non molto facile da trovare a Londra

L' atteggiamento dello staff della sala colazione, troppo serio e poco socievole. A volte neanche ti salutano quando entri nella sala. Capisco perfettamente che sentano la nostalgia del loro paese di provenienza, ma farlla sentite anche agli ospiti non è una bella cosa.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié l’emplacement, très pratique avec le métro à proximité. Le quartier est également vivant, avec plusieurs commerces et restaurants aux alentours, ce qui est vraiment appréciable pour un séjour à Londres. La literie était aussi très confortable, ce qui reste pour moi un vrai point positif.

L’hôtel est agréable dans l’ensemble, mais certains points m’ont déçue, notamment au regard du standing annoncé pour un 4 étoiles. L’établissement est réparti sur plusieurs bâtiments, ce qui n’est pas forcément gênant en soi, mais l’école située juste à côté peut rendre l’environnement assez bruyant en journée. L’insonorisation des chambres mériterait également d’être améliorée : on entend assez facilement les bruits provenant des chambres voisines et des parties communes. Par ailleurs, pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, je m’attendais à trouver certains équipements ou services davantage à la hauteur du standing, notamment des chaussons et la possibilité d’emprunter des adaptateurs, qui sont pourtant des petites attentions appréciables lorsqu’on voyage. L’emplacement reste toutefois pratique et l’expérience globale est correcte. Avec une meilleure insonorisation et quelques attentions supplémentaires en chambre, l’hôtel pourrait vraiment être à la hauteur de ses 4 étoiles.

Room very small and breakfast was not great. Hot food was always cold not much variety.

It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, also the wifi worked very well even if we were on the Lower Ground level and the location is very good, close to bus and metro stations. The staff is also very kind and welcoming, we had a problem with the shower and it was quickly solved.

Even though it was written that the room was 10m2 it still seemed small and we barely had enough space to open the suitcase and also since we were on the LG level there was a stuffy smell and we couldn't open the window because it was locked.

Every staffs are very friendly,I am very satisfied with this experience to live in the Merit Kensington hotel,and it's very convenient for me to go to my college In the welcome.

After having to demand a room that was clean and didn't make me nauseous from the smell, I was moved to a nice room that was slightly bigger with no smell and clean.

Everyday was hell when dealing with the male staff. Only experienced 2 pleasant workers and they were both women. The men were not only misogynistic but disrespectful rude and condescending. I stayed 5 days and had my room entered even with a do not disturb sign and my property taken from staff. I had to contact the police and corporate. 4 male staff lied on me to cover their butts, without knowing I documented everything. If you are a woman do not stay here alone and only deal with the women that work there. It was hell trying to get things resolved with such incompetent individuals who are horrible at customer service.

Location near subway. Value for money, all I needed for a good sleep-clean, quiet, great shower. Lift to 3rd floor was a bonus as some places only have stairs. Hold the luggage for free until check in. Was quiet at night.

It was extremely convenient for us going around due to its close proximity to Earl’s Court station. The room was always clean and staff were generous providing toiletries daily. We were also able to leave our bags for a small daily fee while we went to Scotland.

E già la seconda volta che ci torno perché ho trovato un hotel piccolino ma moto cura pulito e con lo staff molto gentile l unica cosa consiglio di chiedere una stanza che non sia nel seminterrato perché hanno poca luce come resto buona colazione e punto strategico per arrivare ovunque con la metro che si trova a tre minuti

Easy to find good location quiet area. The bed itself was very comfortable

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and had a lovely experience, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing. The room felt tired and poorly maintained, with chipped paint and noticeably scuffed walls, which didn’t reflect the four-star standard I was expecting. After raising my concerns, the only resolution offered was a complimentary room upgrade on a future stay. While I appreciate the gesture, it was disappointing that nothing was offered to address the experience I had already paid for. It’s a shame as I had such a positive experience previously, and I hope more attention is given to the upkeep of the rooms and how concerns like this are handled.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns perfekt. Nicht weit von dem Naturkundemuseum und Nottinghill. Die nächste Bahnstation earl‘s court ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Das Zimmer war klein, aber sauber.

Da sich das Zimmer im Untergeschoss befand, war es ziemlich dunkel und kalt. Nach mehrmaligen Bitten die Heizung anzustellen, wirkten die Mitarbeitenden eher lustlos und das Zimmer blieb kalt. In der Nähe befindet sich eine Schule oder Kindergarten, wodurch es früh morgens schon recht unruhig wurde.

Otelin konumu harika, metro istasyonunun hemen yanında olduğu için ulaşım çok rahat. Odalar temiz ve günlük temizlik düzenli yapılıyor. Konaklamamız konforluydu.Bir sırt çantamızı çıkışda resepsiyonda unuttuk. İçinde kızımızın bebeklik peluş oyuncağı olduğu için bizim için manevi değeri çok büyüktü. Telefon ve mail ile ulaştığımızda resepsiyon ekibi çok hızlı aksiyon alarak çantayı tespit etti ve Londra'daki bir arkadaşımıza sorunsuz şekilde teslim etti. Bu süreçteki yardımları, nezaketleri ve hızlı çözümleri için resepsiyon görevlilerine çok teşekkür ederiz. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim...

The girl at the reception was kinda rude

The location was ideal. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very understanding about the situation with my flight being delayed by 24 hours. There is always someone at the front desk if you need anything. The staff was generally friendly. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked properly.

The room and the hotel were very small compared to the photos. There was no privacy, since the room was in the basement and faced the street and the housekeeping staff’s break room; so if you open the curtains, everyone can see you (and most of the time, they actually are watching you). Housekeeping wasn’t available after 1:00 p.m. at the latest… Very few facilities, and there wasn’t even enough soap for two people. The bathroom was tiny. The TV didn’t work; the front desk clerk came to explain two things: 1) there was no battery in the remote (he replaced it—no problem), but the button on the remote to turn on the TV didn’t work; so we had to find a long, thin object to press the button hidden inside the TV stand, but located well behind the TV... ... ... No, thanks. The Wi-Fi was either very, very, very slow or didn’t work at all.

Lovely stay, excellent location around the corner from Earls court tube station. The bed was really comfy in a super clean modern room. The aircon was perfect and a lovely white noise I could sleep easily with. Staff were really pleasant and friendly. Complimentary tea and coffee, biscoffs and water in the fridge. Also lovely selection of Complimentary shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. We will definitely be back.

The location was the only thing that I’ve liked.

Its advertised as a 4 star hotel when in reality it wouldn’t even get 2 stars. The manager is not able to handle customer feedback and he was very agressive towards me when I was given two different rooms and non were even close to the one I booked by the loooks. At first I was given a lower ground floor one that had a lot of damp which Im allergic at the room also didn’t have a window. The second one that they offered was an upgrade apparently and it had a pull out bed with a broken frame. The third one after the altercation still didn’t have a window but I had to take it. Never again!

Aunque sabíamos que la habitación no era muy grande, un poco justa, máxime teniendo en cuenta que el baño era muy amplio.

Super close to Earls Court metro, lots of cafes and shops nearby. Bed was comfy and linens were nice. Shower pressure was good and the toiletries were lovely. Staff were friendly and super accommodating for a last minute late check out.

Rooms weren't very well lit but the control panels by the bed were very bright when all lights were off so had to cover them w something for sleeping.

Ancak temizlik konusunda maalesef ciddi anlamda hayal kırıklığı yaşadık. Otelde 7 gün kaldık ve sabah çıkıp akşama kadar dışarıda olmamıza rağmen odamız bir kez bile temizlenmedi. Havlularımız ve yatak çarşaflarımız da hiç değiştirilmedi. Bunun için ayrıca resepsiyonu arayıp talepte bulunmamız mı gerekiyordu bilmiyorum, ancak Liverpool, Manchester ve Edinburgh’taki konaklamalarımızda böyle bir sorunla hiç karşılaşmadık. Son gün ise duş alırken su kesildi 🙈 ve ne yazık ki sorun çözülemedi. Neyse ki o sabah zaten otelden ayrılacaktık.

Konumu çok güzel. Earls Court metrosuna iki dakika yürüme mesafesinde ve çok nezih bir bölgede. Temizlik çok güzel. Mıbilyaları yeni ve konforluydı.

Die Lage ist sehr schön zentral. Supermärkte und Restaurants um die Ecke und man ist an der letzten Haltestelle innerhalb des City-Tarifs der Metro (man kann die Tube am Earls Court allerdings auch hören, nicht sonderlich laut, mich hat es nicht gestört, aber zentrale Lage kommt halt mit Nebeneffekten, das muss einem klar sein). Personal ist soweit sehr freundlich. Die Sauberkeit war auch zufriedenstellend. Gratis Shampoo etc. (wenn auch nur sehr kleine Fläschchen) Sieht auf den Fotos aus, wie in der Realität, relativ modern und halbwegs wertig.

Leider auch eines dieser typischen Londoner Hotels, in denen man zig Zimmer in eine alte Stadtvilla quetscht. Die Betten sind eine Katastrophe. Die Untergestelle bestehen aus zwei kleinen Kästen, damit man sie in dieses winzige Zimmer bekommen konnte. Dadurch gibt es eine furchtbar harte Kante im Lendenwirbelbereich. Wer hier ohne Rückenschmerzen aufwacht kann auch als Fakir im Zirkus arbeiten. Das Zimmer war so klein, das ich den Hocker am Schreibtisch nicht zurückziehen konnte, da dann das Bett im Weg war. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht aus dem Zimmer steuern, zumindest war ich nicht in der Lage mit den drei Schaltern "an/aus", "hoch" und "runter" irgendeine Veränderung herbeizuführen. Aber vielleicht versteht man in England unter Klimaanlage auch nur eine Heizung. Dafür haben die allerlei Knöpfe im Zimmer den tollen Nebeneffekt, dass das Zimmer nachts beleuchtet ist wie die Brücke den Todessterns. Da sind die wirklich guten Verdunklungsvorhänge dann auch nicht sonderlich hilfreich.

Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal.

Very modern looking, close to subway station and other local amenities. Rooms were nicely renovated. Staff were nice and they allowed us to leave our luggage before check in and after check out. Good size bed with plenty of plug sockets. Room had a nice space for leaving our luggage.

I would have preferred more control over the aircon and the room was a little loud with it being next to the elevator. Also, we could hear lots of flushing noises from the outside window, but we slept ok regardless

Lo staff, abbiamo chiesto più volte di rimettere il filtro del lavandino della stanza 222 in quanto mancante, ma non lo hanno fatto ignorando sempre la nostra richiesta.

A due passi dalla fermata della metropolitana. La zona offre diverse opzioni tra pub e ristoranti, ma si arriva velocemente in metropolitana anche in zone più rinomate della città. Camera pulita e buon Wi-Fi. Personale nel complesso gentile. Colazione ottima. Possibilità di tenere i bagagli gratuitamente in hotel dopo il check out (cosa non scontata in Gran Bretagna)

Hotel ideal para viajar a Londres. A un minuto andando de una estación de metro, supermercado y estación de bicicletas. Barrio tranquilo, pero cerca del centro. Repetiría.

Prominent location, 1 minute walk to the tube, very clean, we asked for a twin room which was provided.

Quite small room for 2 people, staff wasn't that interested in any conversation however explained everything what we needed

positive side, the lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was simple but quite good, and the restaurant was clean. The location is excellent, with the metro nearby, and the neighborhood is great. Overall, the location and service were good, but the hotel really needs some renovation. For the price, I expected much more.

Wat een fijne plek! Het Merit Kensington Hotel ligt in een prachtige, authentieke Victoriaanse straat met de karakteristieke Londense huizen. De ligging is echt perfect: het metrostation is letterlijk om de hoek, waardoor je heel gemakkelijk de stad in kunt. Wij verbleven in een Deluxe kamer en die was prachtig, met een heerlijke badkamer. Een klein verbeterpuntje: we misten alleen een stoeltje of klein zitplekje op de kamer om even iets te eten of drinken. Ondanks de centrale ligging hebben we heerlijk geslapen. De straat is rustig en aangenaam, waardoor je na een drukke dag in Londen echt tot rust komt. Ook South Kensington is gemakkelijk te voet bereikbaar. Mijn zoon en ik hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. We zouden hier absoluut nog een keer verblijven en kunnen het hotel zeker aanbevelen! 👍🏽🇬🇧❤️

Front desk very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was very efficient. Room was modern and comfy. Nice toiletries in bathroom. Fridge in room with water which was very welcomed in this heat.

Room wasn’t cleaned very well. Bathroom had long hairs left in shower. Wardrobe was dusty, which got on our clothes. The remote was furry with dust. There were limited apps on the TV (only YouTube) and no way to cast to the tv which for a 4 star hotel was a little disappointing.

Went during a bit of a heatwave, it had ac but didnt work too well. They give u little amenities including soap so if you open one to wash ur hands the next morning its replaced by a new one. Works great for shampoos etc but would prefer a permanent soap.

Great size room which was well furnished. Comfortable beds. Easily accessible from the nearby tube station. Will stay here again next time I'm in the city.

Il bagno un pochino piccolo.

Room was small but expected. Modern with all amenities and easy access to MTR. Great stay

Struttura pulita e camera spaziosa anche di più degli standard di Londra. Ad un passo dalla metro e da locali, bar e ristoranti. Ci siamo trovati nel complesso bene e la consigliamo.

Siamo stati al piano terra, quando siamo entrati c’era però l’aria condizionata a 21 e ci si ghiacciava. Abbiamo provato a sistemarla dal termostato della stanza, ma non funzionava. Quindi l’abbiamo comunicato alla reception e ce l’hanno spento. Siamo stati bene senza aria condizionata. Ma se fosse stato necessario regolarla non ho idea. Il Wi-Fi non si collegava in modo continuo, linea poco stabile. Aggiungerei uno scopino in bagno per il wc.
