Hotel Born

Perfect peaceful location in the old town, generous room, excellent bed and sitting area and very good breakfast choices. Pleasant and extremely helpful staff made our short stay memorable.

Location to Old Town was ideal. The entrance and general look of the hotel very impressive.

Recognising it is an old building, and installing lifts would be difficult, carrying liggage up severla flights of stairs can be an effort

A period property which is lovely.

The outside courtyard with bar is a bonus. However, we were told we couldn’t have a glass of water as the bar didn’t open until 6pm. The barman relented though. This area is where breakfast can be eaten. When raining there is seating inside. When the rain has stopped a guest wanted to sit outside to get some air (not eat) but was told he couldn’t as breakfast was inside on this occasion.

Beautiful building and proximity to central town and malls was excellent, very walkable. Breakfast was exceptional with loads of variety and good coffee.

Die Lage könnte nicht besse sein - auch das Personal ist extrem freundlich, extrem hervorheben möchte ich das Putzpersonal und das Personal beim Morgenbuffet.

-Es ist sehr laut und hat auch keinen Lift - unsee Zimmer hatte ein kleines Fenster in den Innenhof, also eigentlich eher kein Fenster…. Preis-Leistung ist schon eher hoch!

Das Zimmer war ein bisschen zu düster. Hellere Farben hätten das Ambiente feeundlicher gestaltet. Kein Lift.

Lage, Foyer, Frühstücksraum, sehr nettes Personal beim Frühstück!

Der Bettraum war zu eng, so dass einer nur über das Fussende in Bett gelangen konnte. Ausserdem war dort kein Platz für einen Nachttisch.

Magnifique hôtel situé dans un ancien palais urbain. Service exceptionnel.

Veldig sentralt, rent og pent, gode senger og velfungerende air condition. Ingen heis, men ved forespørsel fikk vi rom i 1.etg.

Die Lage ist perfekt, denn man die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen. Auch für Shopping ist die Lage sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Unser Zimmer (Basic Room) war sehr dunkel und ging zu einem Nutz-Hinterhof des Hotel ( Lager für Getränkekisten etc.) Wenn man mehr Platz und eine schönere Aussicht möchte, sollte man ein Standard Room buchen.

es gibt keinen Aufzug und wenn man dann das Zimmer im 2. Stock bekommt, ist es etwas schwieriger mit dem Gepäck...vor allem wenn das Personal nicht hilft ;-)

Se escuchaba ruido en la habitación.

Zentral mit schönem Ambiente und Innenhof.

Alles war perfekt. Einfach nicht geeignet, wenn man keine Treppen steigen kann. Es hat in diesem wunderschönen alten Gebäude keinen Lift. Und hat es nicht gestört.

Great breakfast and fab location.

No elevator and the palace was suffocatingly hot. No AC in grand lobby or hallways. The bedroom suite had excellent AC. The bathroom should have had some body lotion, shower caps, etc.

Super Lage und erstaunlich ruhig

Leider war es bei der Ankunft nicht sehr sauber. Auf dem Boden hatte es lange braune Haare und Duschwand war auch nicht sehr sauber. Haben es aber kurz selber geputzt.

表通りにほど近いロケーションで、中世の建造物そのままの趣のある室内。朝食はハムやフルーツが豊富でとてもおいしかったうえ、修道院の雰囲気をそのまま感じさせる食堂でした。ゆっくり逗留したいホテルでした。

チェックインの手続きは、とてもゆっくりでした。しかし日本以外ではたいていそんなものです。

事前に確認して分かってはいたのですが、エレベーターがないのは少し不便だなと感じました。部屋にティッシュが無かったのは残念でした。

Beautiful property, once we got placed in the room we reserved it was wonderful!

We were initially placed in a room that was smaller than what we reserved and it was very hot on the 4th floor. Also no elevators, however staff will help with luggage. We had one bad customer service experience but everyone else on the team was very kind. They moved us to a superior room after our second day and it was perfect from there

parking is a little difficult to find and get to since the location of the hotel is on the edge of the ZBE. no elevator, alot of stairs to carry luggage, BUT the staff did offer to help take it up.

No lifts!! So a bit expensive for a 4* hotel without lift... and we were on the 4th floor. The staff is very nice and they helped with the luggage but if you book a room ask for one on the first or second floor.

Everything was beautiful — the location, the hotel. The staff were very cooperative and helped us a lot, especially with directions and recommendations for places to visit and beaches. The room was clean, and every day the housekeeping team would come to tidy up, but only if you wanted them to. In the bathroom you had everything you needed, so there was no need to carry shampoos, soaps, or a hairdryer with you. So everything was wonderful.

El espacio de la habitación doble era muy reducido y por estar al principio del pasillo ruidosa. Las puertas y ventanas ganas son antiguas y la insonorización no es perfecta. El baño muy básico

Super location, very friendly and helpful staff.We had one issue which was sorted out quickly, without drama. The vibe is great, the hotel is nicely decorated, and smells divine when you walk in (great touch), we could smell it as we walked up to it. The location is so good for old town, you are right in the middle, but also feel away from it by being up a gorgeous alley (cobbles, great restaurants etc) Breakfast was great, beds comfy, rooms clean..

Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend the Born Hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful place with great service and a special atmosphere.

Rommet var ikke helt klart da vi kom og det syntes på renholdet. Det var hår igjen i dusjen og manglet håndduker. Hadde forventet større rom til den prisen vi betalte. Har bodd der tidligere å betalte mindre for ett større rom den gang

La colazione, lasciava un po' desiderare. Per una struttura del genere la colazione non si presenta alla altezza

Le confort de la literie et la chambre spacieuse. Clim peu bruyante. L'emplacement est très central donc parfait pour les visites de la vieille ville. La possibilité d'une conciergerie pour les bagages.

Services mini au petit dej, personnel faisant peu d'efforts pour comprendre les français. Absence d'ascenseur et chambre côté cour intérieure assez bruyante en raison du restaurant.

Some noise from deliveries but it’s in the middle of Palma so to be expected - it wasn’t a problem!

El trato de recepción fue excepcional, ademas del increíble desayuno bufet libre. La ubicación también excelente.

O hotel esta muito bem localizado, os quartos sao nuito confortaveis e os funcionários muito simpaticos. Tambem gostamos muito do pequeno almoço.

Au-delà du fait que l'emplacement soit parfait, la splendeur de l'établissement est au rendez-vous. Le service est bien entendu impeccable. Nous n'oublierons jamais cet hôtel.

C'est juste dommage, d'être obligée d'aller dans la rue pour pouvoir fumer debout ou assise comme une clocharde sur un bout d'escalier même à minuit quand la cour intérieure est vide. A défaut d'un coin fumeur, une dérogation a cette heure tardive aurait été appréciable en tant que femme.

Unglaublich schönes Ambiente eines ehemaligen Palazzos mitten im Zentrum von Palma. Das ganze Ambiente ist ehrwürdig und erhaben, die Zimmer dem entsprechend authentisch. Der Innenhof ist sehr ruhig und ein echter Rückzugsort.

Die direkte Zufahrt zum Hotel mit dem PKW ist nicht möglich und es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl was für uns aber kein Problem darstellte.

The A/C was not sufficient. I woke up sweating despite it being set to 18C(the room never got near 18C).

Sehr gute Lage, direkt im Zentrum und alles zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Hotel sehr elegant und schön. Sehr großes und neues Bad.

Die Einrichtung im Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was durchaus einen gewissen Charme hat, aber zB die Schlösser an den Türen könnte man gegen Moderne tauschen.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. What stood out the most was the level of hospitality that the staff provided, they went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, we were made to feel very welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast was great, they had hot and cold options with fresh juice and bread. The hotel is also quite stunning and the location is very convenient for exploring Palma on foot. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Born exceeded our expectations, we loved the location. It’s decor and wonderful breakfast.

Localización espectacular. Accesible fácilmente desde cualquier lugar de la ciudad y cerca de todos los lugares relevantes.

Puertas de las habitaciones antiguas y con problemas de cierre; máquinas de aire acondicionado MUY ruidosas; amenities de las habitaciones muy por debajo de lo que se podría esperar. Decepcionado con la habitación, no por el tamaño sino por la falta de atención al detalle. El secador estaba roto. La plancha que nos enviaron al cuarto, también.

The property looks nice from the outside but my room was like a prison cell. The food was amazing however i hot a major food poisoning the next day. In addition I forgot my sunglasses in the room I called the hotel they said they found them however he asked me to send an email however I sent many emails many emails it’s been a week and no one got back to me.

It's hard to find a better location! Very close to the cathedral, in the middle of everything. The hotel is gorgeous, the room was spacious and clean. Beds are comfy, there's a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is tasty and has hot options, fresh orange juice is very good, prosecco is available as well.

If your neighbors drop the room key in the hall at 7am, it wakes you up

Windows/shutters in room opening out on to central courtyard. Had to have curtains drawn for privacy which reduces light in the room. Our room (110) was adequate but quite small. It’s difficult to be accurate because it’s an old building and the hotel has tried to maintain its character whilst modernising to some extent. Some of the fittings looked tired/worn in the bathroom; chips to basins, poor silicone/mould in shower.

Such a beautiful spot the building itself is very authentic and lovely to look at, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and helpful with various requests that we had such as ordering us taxis etc. The air conditioning in the rooms was really efficient which was great in the August heat. The shampoo, conditioner provided smelt so lovely and seemed of high quality. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel and will be back again!

Ωραιο κτιριο, που δειχνει πως ηταν τα σπιτια παλια στη Πάλμα

Δεν ειχε ασανσέρ, καταλαβαίνω οτι ειναι παλιο κτιριο διατηρητέιο αλλα η τιμη θα επρεπε να ειναι χαμηλότερη για το λόγο αυτό. Επίσης, δεν ειχε καθόλου καλη ηχομονωση. Ακουγαμε το πρωι να περνανε απ εξω απο τους αλλους οροφους! Για τους παραπανω λογους η τιμη για το δικλινο θα επρεπε να ειναι χαμηλοτερη καθως και το δωματιο δεν ηταν πολυ μέγαλο.

Sicuramente il fatto che non c’è l’ascensore e fare 3 piani tutti i giorni era un po’ stressante. Soprattutto all’arrivo e per la partenza con le valige.

Δεν είχε ασανσέρ (το ξέραμε πριν κλείσουμε) Το κτίριο ήταν πολύ παλιό και όχι ανακαινισμενο Το δωμάτιο ήταν μικρό Για κάποιον που ενοχλείται από τη φασαρία, ακούγεται ο θόρυβος από το εστιατόριο στην αυλή, ειδικά αφού τα κουφώματα ήταν παλιά ξύλινα

Beautiful family run historic hotel in the heart of the old town. We booked the entire hotel for three nights for my daughter's wedding party and close friends. The experience was perfect in every way. The Hotel manager Antonio was a delight to work with during the run up to the wedding and nothing was too much trouble. He even went to the supermarket on the wedding day to buy a funnel to fill the wedding favour bottles! A special thank you to Victor too who helped with pushchairs, luggage, high chairs and the rest of the reception staff and housekeeping. The pre wedding cocktail drinks party was hosted in the beautiful courtyard at hotel Born and the bar and catering staff were amazing. The rooms are elegant and beautifully decorated and gloriously cool. Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh with a hot option. We were a young party with big appetites. Breakfast was replenished on a regular basis. Overall we had the most amazing three days at Hotel Born. Everything was seamless from start to finish. Thank you Antonio and your staff for helping us celebrate our daughter's wedding in your elegant hotel. You made it very special. We will be back.

Очень хорошее расположение отеля, в самом центре города. Отель в целом очень красивый ,сохранивший старинную архитектуру и атмосферу.

Нет лифта при том, что в отеле 3 этажа. Хотя надо сказать, что персонал помог поднять чемоданы в номер на третий этаж. Есть сложности с подъездом на машине, до ближайшей платной парковки( 30€ в сутки) 200 метров. Полотенца и постельное белье были достаточно изношены. Завтраки не имели большого ассортимента, а фруктов вообще не было

This old Spanish hotel is beautiful , with a beautiful court yard and a very good cocktail bar , however the room we had was very dark and a view onto the back of another building , this obviously can’t be helped but I don’t feel I can rate the room any higher . The good side to this room is it was very quiet.The location couldn’t be better, you are right in the town.

Sadly the breakfast wasn’t great, a good selection but the eggs, bacon and mushrooms were all cold
