No option to include breakfast in your booking. €34 is excessive. €12 for a small breakfast. Very meagre.

Location great, just a few blocks from city center. Staff very friendly. Room was great size for my husband and I and daughter. The room was very comfortable, very clean, beautiful views. The hotel grounds were exceptional! Loved sitting out in the garden and relaxing in the morning. I would absolutely stay here again.

For the price, there weren't really any extras. Even to hold our luggage while trekking the TMB and returning to the hotel there was an extra charge. Only one bottle of water was given per day. The spa services were fine, but I feel in past I have had better. Despite these things, the stay was excellent and it would not deter me from staying here again.

Great location but given there is no Air Conditioning the Sleep Quality is poor during Summer months. The two onsite restaurants and staff are wonderful. The in room coffee station needs improvement - there is no coffee cream and insufficient coffee. The bathroom needs to be redesigned as the shower stall is very small and the separate toilette area does not have a sink.

Room was sweet, pool area was gorgeous, gardens were delightful.

So many amenities existed but were not shared upon checkin. Would have loved to have taken advantage of the bikes, shuttle and fitness center but was not made aware of the amenities.

Consistently exceptional experience. This is the best hospitality experience in Chamonix. The restaurants are our favorites in Chamonix.

Very impressed with the ethics, integrity and the commitment to service of the overall staff at the facility. My brother-in-law and his wife were also travelling with us and had a separate room. My sister-in-law left her diamond bracelet in the room and only discovered she did later in the day we checked out while we were in Geneva. I called the hotel and spoke to Cristiano (apologies if I misspelled the name) who confirmed they found the bracelet, and worked with us to arrange a taxi service delivery from Chamonix to Geneva. I called a little after 20;00 hours and we had the bracelet in our possession in Geneva by 22:30. This experience made me realize the level of service, care and integrity a flawless facility can provide to customers.

The service, the amenities, the location, and the ambience were superb. Really you cannot do better than this in Chamonix. The rich heritage of the place has been preserved and the quality of the operation is excellent.

La temperatura. Hacía muchísimo calor. Teníamos que dormir con la ventana abierta y el ruido dificultó un poco el descanso. Se tiene que poder regular l temperatura de manera manual. Y la temperatura que tenían en el resto del hotel estaba demasiado alta. Se escuchaba cuando limpiaban las habitaciones.

Truly exception stay, with personal touches throughout. We felt well looked after from the minute we arrived, and all the staff (without exception) did the hotel proud. The location is wonderful, close enough to everything while feeling private.

What a great trip with family and friends to Chamonix! We were lucky enough to stay at this Relais & Chateaux property, which was the best. The location, amenities, staff and incredible food made our stay memorable. Highly recommend!! **And we loved the piano player! :)

Everything about this hotel is exceptional--the location, the spa, the restaurants, and the spacious and well-appointed rooms. But the pièce de résistance is the service--everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to meet our every request. The pictures online do not do it justice. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

I travelled for the weekend. We mostly had a spa weekend and a bit of hiking around Chamonix. It was a great expereince and we loved the place.

We can only say wonderful things about our experience. The hotel is incredibly cozy and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The complementery shuttle service to the ski areas was amazing. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Chamonix, within walking distance to restaurant and shops. We can only highly recommend Hotel Le Hameau Albert 1er and would happily stay here again on our next visit. Truly an amazing experience!

Great time at the Albert Hameau! The driver was fabulous taking us to Le Tour, Brevant and the bus for a trip to Courmayeur.

Pool is cold (defeats the purpose of an outdoor heated pool as advertised), spa is dated (facilities reflect an average hotel at best), breakfast is absolutely not up to par (runny eggs, poor presentation and service, watery coffee), they charge 5 euros for each bottle of filtered tap water. Staff doesn’t seem to care about your stay or satisfaction, and make no effort made to remediate issues. I’ve had the privilege at staying at several five star hotels and resorts in my life - this was likely the worst of them unfortunately. On the positive side, the chalets and rooms were very nice and charming. The ski experience is seamless (drivers and pickup/drop is great), ski rentals are down the block. Despite these positives, the value for the money is simply not there and our expectations were not met. If you’re coming here expecting a five star experience - you may want to consider an alternative or stay in Megeve.

The breakfast was too vague for the price and level of the hotel.

Following on from my stay here with my daughter in January 2025, I went solo this year and had another highly enjoyable experience. Good room (although it took me a couple of days to get the overnight temperature right - the room can get very hot and they disable the cooling airconditioning in winter {it would have been nice to have been told that on arrival]). I ate at the restaurant in the hotel once and Maison Carrier twice - all highly recommended. The staff are friendly and efficient. There's a hotel shuttle mini-bus which takes and picks up skiers to and from the various ski areas in Chamonix. This is an excellent service. Big shout out to Daniel from Madeira who is the dedicated driver this year. A lovely fella, friendly and helpful.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location is excellent and close to many attractions and services. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

A beautifully run lovely hotel. We love the spacious room and en suite with two seating areas, fireplace, two different mountain views. The communal areas in the hotel are well designed. Excellent breakfast.

La chambre un peu « vieillotte » et usée mais confortable. L’accueil et la prise en charge décevante au bar de l’hôtel La personne de l’accueil au spa très mal formée et peu accueillante La piscine intérieure froide Le pdj buffet très minimaliste pour ce type d’hôtel , supplément pour avoir un œuf au plat et aucun service pour débarrasser nos assiettes au fur et à mesure . La salle de pdj très impersonnelle et froide.

It's a very special place. The bistro was lovely. Cosy, quality room.

The property was in a great location and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel staff were all excellent and very accommodating. The spa was very nice and the indoor/outdoor pool was a nice touch. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Hotel facilities are amazing with the best pool and spa overlooking Mont Blanc, an unforgettable experience. Wonderfully appointed roomy suites with fire place and top notch views of Mont Blanc and the Alps. Central location right in the heart of Chamonix with easy access to bars and restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Felt like a retirement home

Staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly, room was comfortable, hallways a little narrow and the Hamman should have the scrubs, etc. but I had the best massage! The Albert 1er was the best dinner I had in all of France. I really enjoyed my stay there.
