Super staff, very friendly in a time of high crowd in the town of Chamonix during UTMB week, they let us spend a free afternoon without stress in the lobby, being kind and supportive Realllllly cool

L’emplacement, le hall de l’hôtel avec son salon et le spa

Rapport qualité prix limite, aucune insonorisation au niveau de la chambre, douche très petite, pas de Clim malgré la chaleur et impossible d’ouvrir les fenêtres la nuit car rue très bruyante entre les passants en fin de soirée et la sortie de boîte de nuit.

Hôtel avec beaucoup de cachet et de beaux mobiliers. Personnel très serviable et discret. La literie confortable.

Chambre un peu petite et bruyante sur la rue. Les chambres donnant sur la rivière sont probablement plus calme. Massages très bien. Rapport qualité prix un peu excessif à mon avis

Everything was very elegant, charming - room, staff, facility, view, all around. Breakfast was amazing. Location couldn't be any better. Staff was exceptional. Spa facility - Sauna was not as hot as you'd aspect in other places, but the pool was spectacular. There is no AC but not an issue - it gets cold at night.

There was no air conditioning in the room. Big disappointment. 5-star hotel , and I had checked if the hotel has air conditioning. It said yes. Turns out only suites have.

Comfort, cleanliness, Mountain View, friendly and helpful staff.

No air-conditioning during heatwave - understandable, but meant windows needed to stay open overnight, leading to mosquito bites, despite net curtains. Noisy with windows open on town side.

The location is very good and near to center. The staff are very friendly. Due to the water channel near to the hotel the weather is good on summer.

There is no air conditioning

It doesn’t look like a 5 star hotel

The room was super hot 29.4 degrees , air conditioning was working, the lift didn’t work, reported the issues to the receptionist, she wasn’t very helpful. The swimming pool is tiny. The steam room is dirty.

The staff: went above and beyond during check in, showed us to our room, guided us through the property amenities, were extremely welcoming The property: cabin style which even in the summer was extremely cozy - we had the Suite Edelweiss and it was extremely comfortable, clean, spacious, and the bathroom was extremely functional! The views from the balcony and bedroom window were breathtaking. worth the extra splurge. The location: in the center, close to the bus station, the city center, and all the points of interest (mer de glace, aiguille du midi, brevent) Overall, this hotel was amazing, exceeded all my expectations, and over delivered in every possible way!

Paying extra for parking, no air conditioning - as there was no air conditioning we had to have the window open which as we had a room facing the square it was very noisy

The staffs were very helpful and kind. It was good that there was their own parking lot.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel le 15.06.2026. Conclusion : à fuir absolument. Je précise qu’il s’agit d’un hôtel 5 étoiles. - L’ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas. - Réveil dès 8h00 du matin, les femmes de chambre faisaient le ménage dans la chambre voisine, puis ont frappé à notre porte. - Et pour couronner le tout, aucune climatisation… dans un hôtel 5 étoiles. J’ai sincèrement de la peine pour les personnes qui paieront le prix fort pour y séjourner en juillet. À Chamonix, il existe de bien meilleures alternatives, comme l’Héliopic, Le Prieuré ou d’autres établissements de la région.

La localisation, en plein centre de Chamonix! Le bruit de l'Arve juste sous nos fenêtres et la vue magnifique sur le Mont Blanc et l'aiguille du Midi. Une chambre spacieuse et bien faite pour la famille. La petite piscine intérieure a fait le bonheur de nos enfants! Le personnel adorable et qui fait tout son possible pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable! Un grand merci

Certaines des installations pourraient être "revues" : ascenseur capricieux et climatisation en panne, heureusement le personnel a pallié à tous les désagréments. De quoi accrocher les serviettes de bain dans la salle d'eau serait pratique, surtout à 4.

Hôtel exceptionnel avec un service impeccable et une histoire riche ! De plus, le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et offrait une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. Nous étions également accompagnés de notre chien, l'hôtel acceptant les chiens, ce qui était formidable !

Our stay at Grand Hotel des Alpes was perfect! Since our arrival, the staff, Lucy, Eliana, Natan went our if their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great stay. Breakfast, hosted by Silvia, was top notch every day! The property offers very comfortable accommodations in a very classy style. The location of this hotel couldn’t be better for enjoying the many activities Chamonix has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect!

Outstanding facilities, picturesque and convenient location, plus staff who went above and beyond to help us.

The room was on the Main Street. The hotel management should either add metal roller blinds or upgrade the window glazing to block more noise. There was a huge amount of noise from people talking and laughing while walking the street at night, presumably while drunk. We were woken two-three times in the night and early hours of the morning, occurring repeatedly during our peak season stay. Other than this noise problem the hotel was magnificent with outstanding facilities and staff who went above and beyond to help us.

Everybody there is super sweet and really tentative I suggest suggesting multiple days because they really felt like family

La gentillesse du personnel de réception, la qualité de la literie

Le fait que certains serveurs ne parlent pas français. La présence de marginaux devant la porte de l’hôtel avec des chiens. J’ai été frappée violemment dans le mollet par l’un d’entre eux qui courrait chercher une balle. Outre la surprise qui aurait pu me faire tomber, j’ai un joli hématome. Et le propriétaire s’est à peine excusé…

Les chambres nécessitent une rénovation. Chasse d'eau des toilettes à moitié cassé, inconcevable pour un établissement 5*

Le personnel est très gentil et très attentionné, la situation est parfaite la vue. Si vous avez la chance d’être sur le mont Blanc est parfaite, il y a tout pour avoir une grande simplicité dans le raffinement.

Je dois commencer par remercier le personnel et spécialement Francesca pour son accueil très chaleureux et son temps qui le compte pas pour les clients, mais aussi tout le personnel notamment le bagagiste, le barman. L'hôtel est parfait pour visiter la région de Chamonix en général, et les montagnes spécialement, le train normal, l'aiguille de midi ainsi que le train à crémaillère sont à max 10min de marche. emplacement idéal. L'hôtel est équipé d'une piscine chauffée, d'un Hammam et d'une sauna.

Персонал доброжелательный. Все рассказали, помогли с выбором аренды оборудования для катания на лыжах и просто были преветливы. Парковка закрытая, отличное постельное белье. Приятный отель. Я рекомендую 100%

Были небольшие недоразумения но персонал все решил и сделали скидку, за что можно сказать что все хорошо.

Location was excellent

The location was excellent (right in the middle of town). The rooms were very comfortable and warm. The staff were always friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Every thing is good.

The staff were very helpful.

The rooms let in a significant amount of sound. They need to do a better job of soundproofing the rooms. They also do not heat well and the floor is very cold. The showers do not hold in water so after every shower we were using our towels to wipe up water.

La atención del personal y la ubicación.

La habitación es un poco pequeña para su precio y se ve un poco vieja.

The hotel was very lovely. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very comfortable and luxurious. It was just a bit small. It was extremely expensive, but seems to have been the going price for the area for the week we stayed here. Staff was lovely. Location absolutely perfect.

It was so expensive and breakfast was not included.

Отличное расположение отеля.

По мне отель не пять звезд, даже не четыре звезды. Крошечный старый номер категории "Brevent". Кондиционера нет при жаре выше 35 град. В описании указано наличие биде, но его нет и места под него нет. Хуже туалетной бумаги не встречал. Шкаф убогий, к кот. нет нормального доступа. Телевизор размером с монитор на столе пристроили. Завтрак никакой..., очень слабый, рыбы нет, пережаренная яичница, отвратительный кофе. Позавтракали первое утро, далее завтракали в ближайших кафе. Питьевая вода в бутылке только "приветственная" в первый день. И это в "пятизвездочном" отеле.. Не часто встречал "пятизвездочный" отель уровнем ниже трешки.

Excellent hotel, nice and clean. Staff were attentiveness, provided extras (nice little treat) when purchasing. Spa is open from 9am-9pm which again was good after a days walking the hills. Great location, right in the centre of Chamonix The street can be loud, (UTMB was being held the week we were there) however we were provided with ear plugs. Highly recommended a Mountain View, just stunning

Very nice hotel great location. However I booked a brevant view room that was on the noisy Main Street - I’d book a room on other side. Breakfast was not great for 30 euros. But lovely hotel

Emplacement idéal pour les boutiques et l’ascenseur pour l’aiguille du midi. Espace spa magnifique, personnel très impliqué et agréable. Demeure d’exception tout y est pour très bon séjour.
