Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt, aber dennoch ruhig in einem Innenhof. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, gerade der Frühstücksraum und die Lobby laden zum Verweilen ein. Das dazugebuchte Frühstück war sehr gut.

Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss und ziemlich dunkel. Aus den Fenstern blickte man auf einen asphaltierten, trostlosen Innenhof. Unser Badezimmer war eine Art "Nasszelle" ohne Begrenzung der Dusche, sodass sich das Wasser überall auf dem Badezimmerboden verteilte. Mitten in der Nacht war für längere Zeit ein lautes Brummen aus der Wand oder Decke zu hören, von dem wir aufgewacht sind. Das Bett war extrem weich.

The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting the historic area of Rouen. The breakfast was very good. The staff managing the breakfast did a remarkable job, especially keeping the croissant tray full ! All the staff were very helpful and considerate.

There is nothing that we did not like.

Location was superb. Staff were extremely helpful. My request to change a double bed room for a twin bed was dealt with promptly. The hotel itself has real style and we appreciated the many touches to make it a real 'Flaubert' experience!

I always find shower rooms a bit tricky because the floor of the shower can be very slippery when wet and there aren't always grab rails. I managed OK this time, but it is something you might want to think about for future (elderly) guests.

De las 4 estrellas que tiene lamentable le sobran 2, es muy viejo y sucio, el edredón que nos habían puesto estaba muy sucio, el WC estaba asqueroso y sin limpiar bien , la cama incomodisima y las almohadas más de lo mismo, la habitación es diminuta y muy incomoda, nos marchamos a las 11 y no había nadie en recepción para despedir a los huéspedes en un hotel de 4 estrellas, en definitiva me voy a un hostal antes de este hotel de 4 estrellas.

Ubicación céntrica para moverse andando por el casco antiguo. El hotel nos facilito con antelación la manera de llegar en coche y la ubicación de un parking de pago muy cerca del hotel. La habitación y el baño de un tamaño impresionante. Muy limpio y muy bonito todo. El desayuno normal, como muy estándar.

Nuestra habitación estaba en un ala separada del hotel. Algo solitaria. No había presencia de personal del hotel por allí. Además el trato un tanto frío, impersonal. No mal, pero tampoco para repetir.

Non è affatto un 4 stelle al massimo saranno 3, dagli arredi alle porte in alluminio nelle stanze che non erano dotate neanche di frigo. Inoltre Pulizia sotto la media e bagno minuscolo. Onestamente non ci tornerei.

I think we were unlucky with the family room - it was cramped and the bathroom was poor - but the rest of the hotel was fine.

L'emplacement au milieux de la vieille ville, au calme, l'ameublement plein de goût avec une petite note littéraire, c'était un rêve. Le personnel était très attentif. J'y reviendrai!

The hotel is located very close to the central square (Old market and Jean d'Arc church). The atmosphere was charming with all the literary references. I loved the copy of "L'Education Sentimentale" by G. Flaubert on the bedside table. Excellent breakfast! Last but not least: free water refills are always available.

The room was a bit little, no extra space to move for 2 guests.

Il tema dell'albergo è stimolante quando arrivi, solo quando arrivi. Poi, se elimini mentalmente i mobili della maison du monde e quei 4 libri in francese messi in vendita nella hall in maniera goffa , dello stimolo rimane poco o niente.

Il personale era costituito da dilettanti allo sbaraglio, annoiati e poco disponibili oltre che poco efficienti. La differenza di trattamento fra colazione "piccola" e continentale è poi ridicolo ; Colpevoli di aver voluto la " piccola" non siamo stati ammessi alla zona colazione e relegati nella hall a fare gli acrobati su un tavolino diametro 50 con con pane e marmellata. In generale il prezzo in rapporto alla qualità offerta è esagerato.

Locarion, however paid for parking and charged but underground carpark was closed.

Miserable unhelpful sad staff just rude paid for secure parking only reason booked this hotel. But car park was closed still charged us for parking and did not contact us prior to arrival to say no parking. Small dark room facing dirty old building.

Struttura accogliente in posizione ottima. Parcheggio non disponibile al momento del mio soggiorno, ma compensato da un parcheggio adiacente a tariffa convenzionata. Staff molto cordiale.

-La froideur du personnel à notre arrivée concentré uniquement à percevoir le montant des futurs petit-déjeuners et des taxes de séjour. - le mauvais goût de l'eau distribuée à l'accueil (pas de bouteille minérale par soucis d'écologie). - le bruit de portes qui claquent pendant la nuit et de déchargement d'un camion au matin (chambre côté cour). -la climatisation qui ne démarre pas automatiquement et qui fait du bruit. -le manque de réapprivionnement régulier du petit-déjeuner, l'absence de jus de fruits maison et le manque de choix d'infusions

Everything! Location in the middle of old town set back from the street by traditional timbered tunnel. Gorgeous literary decor with booklets in English to give background of famous French writers. Adjacent to Jeanne d'Arc Square, a 5 minute walk to Rouen Cathedral, 15 minute walk to train station and Beaux Arts Museum. 3 minute walk in the other direction to the Seine and lovely sunsets on public benches on the statues bridge. Outstanding staff - they brought us plates and spoons one evening for us to share pastries with a friend in the beautiful lobby. They provide large decanters of still or sparkling water on demand. In our 4 weeks touring France this has been our most luxurious stay at economy prices. Very comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. This is a gem.

The location was perfect to explore Rouen; close enough to walk into the old town but not so central that we hear the lively dining scene in the main square. The room is spacious, modern and well laid out. For those who aren't aware there is also a literary reference to the address itself to Flaubert's novel, Madam Bovary. I'd highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the underground parking was broken during our stay, but once it's fixed, it's perfect for anyone on a road trip.

Exciting concept of connecting the whole atmosphere of the hotel, including its rooms with the famous French writer Flaubert. It was interesting to read excerpts of his works. Delicious breakfast!

The appliances in the room left much to be desired. Namely, coffee machines didn’t work properly, the water in the sink didn’t drain well; the air conditioner had to be operated manually, otherwise it constantly turned off and the room was hot shortly after.

The location was perfect! Right in the centre so it was lovely to be able to be so close to the centre and the Cathedral

Just think there isn’t enough surface space in the rooms so it was difficult with 2 suitcases!

Nousn avons particulièrement apprécié l'emplacement, dans le centre historique. le personnel a été accueillant et souriant. L'hôtel est climatisé, ce qui est appréciable en période de canicule. La salle de sport nous a permis de faire un peu d'exercice. Le petit déjeuner est diversifié et de qualité.

Notre chambre donnait sur l'escalier de secours dont la vue n'était pas très agréable. De plus la superficie de la chambre était assez restreinte.

Ik vond de ruimte waar het ontbijt gepresenteerd werd onprettig. Het buffet is te klein om alle etenswaren te halen, alles staat veel te dicht op elkaar en je moet lang wachten om je eten te verzamelen. Het betreffende personeelslid werkte hard en was vriendelijk maar veel te veel werk voor 1 persoon. Dus regelmatig was er iets niet voorradig.

Veel had beter gekund omdat het geen goedkope kamer was. Verhouding kwaliteit met de prijs vind ik niet oké.

This is a very pleasant hotel just a minute or so off the Place du Vieux Marche.

The lift to the hotel car park was (apparently) not working so we had to park in a public car park (with which the hotel has an arrangement so the parking fee was reduced a bit) a few hundred metres away. Although we were able to drop off our bags at the hotel on arrival not having our car on site was an inconvenience, especially when we left early on our last day.

A kanapéágy alvásra alkalmatlan. A szivacsot követtük az ágyból és letettük a földre, hogy aludni lehessen rajta. Azért választottuk ezt a szállást, mert erkélyt írták hozzá, de nem volt erkély, hanem csupán egy tolóajtóval leválasztott zárt rész volt. A szoba földszinti és utcára néz.

Nous avions signalé la présence de notre chien lors de la réservation mais contrairement à nos deux précédents séjours rien n'avait été prévu (gamelle, tapis et petite friandise d'accueil). Peut être un problème lors de la réservation en ligne.

J’ai apprécié l’emplacement privilégié de l’hôtel, qui constitue un véritable atout. La présence d’un parking à proximité, même payant, est également appréciable, d’autant plus qu’une petite réduction est proposée par l’hôtel. Le petit-déjeuner était, quant à lui, correct.

En revanche, l’état général de la chambre ne m’a pas semblé à la hauteur d’un établissement quatre étoiles. À mon sens, trois étoiles seraient davantage justifiées. J’ai notamment constaté des taches de sang sur la housse de couette, des dépôts de tartre noir dans les toilettes, des joints jaunis ou moisis par endroits, ainsi que plusieurs petites taches visibles sur les rideaux et les murs. Je peux parfaitement comprendre l’usure normale de certains éléments, comme des éraflures sur les montants de porte. En revanche, les problèmes de propreté sont d’une autre nature et ne peuvent pas simplement être considérés comme de l’usure. Je comprends également la démarche écologique de l’établissement et le fait de limiter l’utilisation de certains produits d’entretien. Toutefois, cela ne devrait pas se faire au détriment d’un niveau de propreté attendu dans un hôtel quatre étoiles, notamment lorsqu’il s’agit de taches de sang ou de salissures manifestes. J’ai signalé ces différents points à la réception lors de mon départ.

В готелі сподобалось все: зручне розташування - в центрі міста, але без шуму, неподалік від визначних місць та набережної, комфортно для знайомства з містом, чисті номери, чудовий, на будь-який, смак сніданок (безсумнівно вартий 19 євро). В лоббі можна отримати воду та випити смачної кави в затишній літературній атмофері. Дякуємо за гостинний прийом персоналу готелю, змогли заселити нас раніше призначеного часу та допомогли з багажем. Щиро рекомендую і наступного разу при відвідуванні Руану обов'язково тут зупинюсь.
