Nice hotel in a central location. Street parking available right outside. Our room was big for a city hotel. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection on offer.

It was a beautiful historic property with views of the river to the front and the Chateau to the rear. The staff were excellent. Location excellent and we had parking in the hotel grounds too. A perfect place to stay.

Having said the above,there are a couple of issues prevented a full score. The room was great, but you were unable to shut and latch/lock the bathroom door due to not having a handle. The pool was covered and looked very shut, even though it was open. However not very inviting. The room overlooked the river as advertised but the road traffic from early in the morning was very noticable. (NOT the fault of the Hotel, we chose to sleep with the window open)

Very well located hotel on the river and with very easy walking access to the town centre. Rooms are well equipped with decoration a little tired but this does not take away from the comfort. Lovely bar and outside sitting area at the back of the hotel. Small outdoor pool which is so welcome on a hot day. Separately run excellent restaurant across the garden. Delicious breakfast with everything we could have wanted.

There was nothing not to like. Would recommend asking for a room with a river view.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Fantastic breakfast

Nicholas was our main host. He welcomed us warmly . He can speak 4 languages and treats all guests with high grace. All of the staff are so helpful. The hotel is privately owned and not part of a huge chain. The hotel is spacious and feels like a small castle with big winding staircases. Dogs are welcome which is excellent.

We did not want to leave and wished we booked for a longer period. Felt like staying with friends.

The location was great with just a short walk to the town centre.

I up graded us to a river view room but it was just too big and didn’t feel like good value for the money. Not very luxurious.

La piscine aurait pu être un peu plus propre et le fait de payer le jacuzzi qui se trouve à côté de la piscine.

Wir hatten ein schönes, grosses Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. In diesem heissen Sommer sehr angenehm. Wir hatten den Blick auf die tolle Burg. Parkieren konnte man gratis auf öffentlichen Parkplätze entlang dem Loire Ufer.

Zentrale Lage mit Blick auf das Schloss, sehr freundliches Personal und ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück.

Enges Zimmer auf Grund des Alters des Gebäudes durch Deckenbalken, etc.

Very good breakfast - we ate so much that we didn't need lunch. Room was a treat - the prestige room with small balcony overlooking the river. The history of the room was beautifully maintained and detailed. Expensive but worth it.

We booked one of the superior rooms with a view of the chateau. It was a comfortable room but I did feel that the functional lino flooring reminded me of a youth hostel and felt a bit cheap - notwithstanding, the view was indeed fabulous.

Magnifique Hôtel en bord de Loire. Le personnel est aux petits soins: l’accueil, disponibilité et informations utiles sur les environs. La chambre était spacieuse avec une grande baignoire(mon point faible😉). Je conseille également le petit-déjeuner ; délicieux et très utile pour démarrer une journée de visite dans cette superbe région.

Fabulous hotel. Really lovely welcome and attentive staff. The room was lovely and the air conditioning was very welcome! Beautiful courtyard out the back with views of the castle. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked very nicely put out. Would recommend and will be back!

The room size was excellent, the air conditioning was very good, and the bathroom was a great size. The location was on the river with a view.

Our only issue was, to us, it sounded like a child running in the room above us. We heard nothing on either side of us, just above us. Otherwise, there was nothing to disloke.

Beautiful location in a wonderful setting with high quality facilities. An exceptional stay. L’essentiel restaurant delivered a fabulous meal from an interest menu.

- sehr gute Lage, direkt unter dem Schloss und der Altstadt, zu Fuss ca. 5-10 Min. - Pool war perfekt für eine Abkühlung nach einem Hitzetag in der Stadt. - Trotz der Lage direkt an der Strasse, war es in der Nacht sehr ruhig. - Nette Dame am Empfang hat uns tolle Restauranttipps für den Abend empfohlen

Lovely spot on the Loire with a comfortable large air-conditioned room and a warm welcome for our dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was good to have secure parking inside the hotel garden.

The outside is looking very tired and in need of some serious TLC.

Location is fab, parking for EV is convenient and the pool is nice, staff were welcoming toiletries were lovely

Room was dated, sofa bed in family room was disgraceful - creaked all night and SO uncomfortable. I also thought the plastic flooring was awful - no carpets? Decor was tired and needed updating, hall and stairs had not been cleaned

Nous n’avons pas eu le ressenti escompté pour notre chambre, mais le personnel et les services de l’hôtel nous ont réconciliés… d’autant que le petit déjeuner est une petite pépite… Nous avions un peu peur du petit déjeuner sur la terrasse qui donnait juste sur notre chambre, mais il faisait suffisamment frais ce matin-là… coup de bol…

Ottimo albergo in un palazzo storico ben manutenuto e valorizzato. Bello il giardino in cui è anche presente una piccola piscina. Lo staff è molto cordiale e attento. La nostra stanza era stupenda con vista sul castello. Ottima la colazione. Presenza di una rimessa per le bici per chi, come abbiamo fatto noi, viaggia lungo la Loira a pedali. Posizione perfetta per visitare il centro cittadino a piedi.

Particolare la scelta di condividere la corte interna con un ristorante molto quotato ma non appartenente alla stessa proprietà dell'albergo. Quando abbiamo soggiornato era già completamente prenotato e ci hanno detto che è necessario prenotare con giorni di anticipo. Rilassarsi su una sdraio in giardino dopo le sette di sera d'estate vuol dire trovarsi a 20 metri da chi sta cenando sulla terrazza del ristorante.

Ruime familiekamer, goed ontbijt en zeer behulpzaam personeel. Leuke bar ook. Gratis parkeerplaats in overvloed beneden aan de kaai - quasi voor de deur.

Het zwembad is veel te mooi voorgesteld op foto. In realiteit is het veel te klein voor het aantal gasten dat er verblijft. Het is onmogelijk om daar een dagje rustig te lezen en te ontspannen, daarvoor is het echt niet gemaakt. Wil je ontbijten, dan moet je dat 24u op voorhand doorgeven. Dat is vervelend. En vooral: de prijs die wij betaalden in vergelijking met nabijgelegen kloosters en andere prachtige hotels is absurd duur.

Camera spaziosa (avevo richiesto prima di arrivare un upgrade) con aria condizionata, cosa assai rara in Francia, però nonostante il costo non abbiamo avuto la vista castello (cosa che gli amici che viaggiavano con noi hanno avuto senza costo extra)

Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Le charme de cet établissement est incomparable : une demeure historique sublimée par une rénovation délicate, où chaque détail respire l’élégance et le respect du patrimoine. La chambre était spacieuse, d’une propreté irréprochable, décorée avec goût et offrant un confort remarquable. L’accueil, quant à lui, a été parfait : attentionné, professionnel, chaleureux : une équipe qui donne le sentiment d’être véritablement attendue et considérée. Le petit-déjeuner est un moment à part : produits de qualité, variété, cadre superbe à l'extérieur face au château… une façon idéale de commencer la journée. Un hôtel d’exception, où l’on se sent bien, apaisé, privilégié. Je recommande sans hésiter : une adresse qui allie histoire, beauté et hospitalité avec un rare raffinement.

La vue sur la Loire ou sur le château aurait été un plus

Sehr angenehmes Zimmer mit hohen Räumen und Fenstern, unser Sohn hat ein Nebenzimmer mit Verbindungstüre bekommen, was sehr angenehm war. Tolles Frühstückbuffet mit viel Auswahl, schön gestaltet. Perfekte Lage in der Stadt und angenehmer Innenhof, um auch draussen zu sitzen.

Tout était parfait ! Le lieu a beaucoup de charme. La petite cour arrière ainsi que la piscine rendent les extérieurs de l’établissement très jolis. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et très varié. L’hôtel est situé à proximité du centre et offre une belle vue sur le château !

Gorgeous hotel with secure bike storage and a cute courtyard. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely warm pool if a bit small. Fantastic good value breakfast which we ate in the courtyard. Quiet room with comfy bed. Breakfast served until 10.30am. Great central location. Would return.

Our room was small with a small bed. We had requested a room with a view of the chateau (which was fantastic) but it did seem to be the smallest room on the floor. We had had to pay a supplement for a chateau view so felt it was a bit expensive for the size of the room. Towels in room were a bit small and seemed a bit old. Hooks on back of door would be helpful. Also had to pay extra for sauna and jacuzzi which we weren’t expecting.

The location was nestled under the castle & when we arrived at night it was magical & glowing. Our room was on the courtyard & we enjoyed a bottle of wine quietly in the garden gazing up at the castle. Great location, the room was very spacious, the hotel & grounds were quiet, & the receptionist was cheerful & helpful. Great idea to stop here!

Ordentliches Zimmer, gute Lage, für unseren Hund stand bereits ein Wassernapf mit frischem Wasser auf dem Zimmer bereit.

Leider gab es beim Check-In einen kleinen Zwischenfall zwischen unserem Hund und einem Hund, der zum Hotel gehörte und nicht angeleint war. Es ist aber nichts weiter passiert und man hat sich auch mehrfach bei uns entschuldigt.
