A perfect location right at the seafront with very friendly staff. Our room had a little terrace where we could sit and enjoy the view. The room was equipped with coffee and tea makers which added to the comfort.

Le personnel est disponible 24/24, très gentil, et serviables en toute circonstance. La location de vélos au pied de l'hotel. La plage à 30-50m.

Le bruit des camions de livraison le matin côté rue. La moquette pas très propre. La fuite d'une canalisation dans le parking qui a laissé des traces indélébiles sur le parebrise de la voiture.

L'emplacement est vraiment idéal, le personnel très agréable et très professionnel. Les cocktails sont très réussis et le petit déjeuner en chambre superbe.

Nous avons tout apprécié, la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel, ainsi que celle du directeur. Des personnes très humaines et rares de nos jours. Tout était parfait pendant 10 jours, le petit-déjeuner, la chambre, le garage, ... Un réel plaisir d'avoir séjourné dans ce bel établissement très bien tenu. Nous le recommandons vivement à tous, rien à dire, à deux pas des restaurants, très bien situé. Un réel plaisir.

It is the perfect hotel in a perfect location

The location and although it was right on the beach it was very quiet. We were sceptical about having breakfast in our room but because we had a terrace we absolutely loved it

Great to have fridge and kettle in the room and to have beach equipment provided. Location right on the beach is excellent.

Partial sea view is very partial, depending on which room you get. Only a glimpse of the sea from one end of the balcony, not from the room.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und der Check-in war innerhalb weniger Minuten erledigt. Obwohl uns im Vorfeld mitgeteilt worden war, dass die Tiefgarage bereits voll sei, konnte im letzten Moment doch noch ein Parkplatz für uns organisiert werden. Der Platz war für ein grösseres Auto zwar etwas eng, doch bereits am zweiten Tag konnten wir auf einen grösseren Parkplatz wechseln, da ein anderer Gast vorzeitig abgereist war. Dieser unkomplizierte und freundliche Service hat uns sehr gefreut. Die Zimmer waren sauber, komfortabel und gemütlich. Besonders praktisch fanden wir, dass jedes Zimmer über eine eigene Kaffeemaschine verfügte. Zudem stand im Gang ein Wasserspender mit gekühltem und sprudelndem Wasser zur kostenlosen Nutzung bereit. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Neben einem reichhaltigen Buffet konnten kostenlos frisch zubereitete Speisen wie Pfannkuchen und verschiedene Eiergerichte bestellt werden. Die Auswahl und Qualität haben uns sehr überzeugt. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. In gerade einmal 20 Sekunden ist man zu Fuss am Strand – besser geht es kaum! Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden und würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder wählen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

In der Tiefgarage war es sehr warm und die Luft war sehr unangenehm. Es machte den Eindruck, als würden die Abluftanlagen der angrenzenden Restaurantküchen in die Garage entlüften.

Personal espectacular

We had room next to terrace with sea views, private outside space. Hotel is beach front and beach is beautiful and sandy. Breakfast very good, states continental but in fact we were offered eggs and bacon, pancakes and there was a selection of cold meats, smoked salmon, cereals, cheeses and pastries. All Staff were great.

L' emplacement est impeccable avec l accès direct au bord de mer et aux rues piétonnes. La literie est confortable, la chambre est calme.

Au vu des photos de l' annonce, je pensais qu'il y avait une terrasse extérieure et une salle de petit-déjeuner. Très déçu de l' usage d une chambre revisitée en salle de petit-déjeuner très étriquée.

La proximité de la plage.

Le parking à un prix de 25€ par jour, est excessivement exagéré pour un environnement très insalubre. Dommage.....!, ça terni ce bel hôtel.

Location is spot on with convenient underground parking. The rooms with terrace overlooking the sea are fabulous for enjoying your coffee or an evening apéro. Bonus for those with a dog!

The hotel’s location truly offers the best value for money. Once you arrive, there’s no need to use the car (everything is less than a five‑minute walk away). The beach is right in front, which is extremely convenient and advantageous when travelling with small children. Chairs and umbrellas for the beach were provided (which is great, as it avoids having to load the car) and the staff was friendly, polite, and helpful.

The hotel administration informed us about the upcoming renovation and refurbishment works planned for next year, which is perfect as a bit outdated

Emplacement exceptionnel sur le front de mer. Vue sur le bassin avec accès au solarium (chambre 101). Grande salle de bain très bien équipée. Taille de la chambre et déco parfaite. Personnel disponible, souriant et arrangeant. Petit déjeuner parfait, copieux et de qualité. Un vrai moment de détente. Clim très bien réglée, silencieuse. Literie de qualité. Le petit-déjeuner devrait être mis plus en avant! Fontaine à eau disponible à l’étage et en libre accès (un plus appréciable).

L'Hôtel est bien situé mais il ne mérite pas 4 étoiles. Une salle à manger sans fenêtres à éviter j'ai pris le petit déjeuner dans ma chambre. Le spa se compose d'un appareil japonais posé près de la récéption. Il est souhaitable de revoir votre menttion spa.

Im Hôtel Point France ist einfach alles perfekt! Der Morgen mit Panoramablick auf das Meer ist pure Magie und der beste Start in den Tag. Das Personal ist unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich als Gast wie zu Hause und absolut willkommen. Die Atmosphäre bietet pure Entspannung, Sauberkeit und Komfort. Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Empfang, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The Hotel has everything and makes the stay easy and enjoyable. We stayed for 12 nights and almost felt like part of the family on departure! Arcachon has something for pretty much every type of interest. Although limited due to the awful wildfires we would highly recommend bike hire as there is so much to see and do around the basin and in normal circumstances, crossing to Cap Ferret and exploring the cycle path along the coast through the forest is a must-do.

Just spent a week here with the family. You wouldn’t know the fires had happened in Gironde. Lovely small seafront hotel, ideally placed in the centre whilst close to the station. Excellent beds, bathrooms, balcony, aircon. The staff are all bilingual and very helpful, and they lend deckchairs, parasols, boules etc for the beach which is 15 yards away.

A wonderful hotel right next to the beach in beautiful Arcachon But it would be nothing without its staff! Everyone was so helpful and thoughtful. Highly recommended

Situation géopgraphique Propeté et accueil

Väldigt centralt hotel mitt i Archachon. Lätt att ta sig till tågstationen, nära till att hyra cykel och piren för båt till Cap Ferret var precis utanför. Stranden där var det alldeles för mycket folk på och man bör förflytta sig en liten bit. I slutet av vistelsen märktes att resten av europa fått semester för det blev lite för mycket "charter" i hamnen, men bara man gick ett extra kvarter upp mot byn så var det väldigt mycket bättre.

There really were none but if I would say anything The place were you eat breakfast has no windows and also grass on terrace needed cut.

Hotel Point France is a lovely hotel fronting the beach and very central. The staff were wonderful and met all our requests and needs. Excellent room facing the ocean. All of the amenities were top notch.

Very nice room with a terrace outside. The large terrace was shared with other rooms, but each room had a section of their own. The airconditioning worked perfectly. Newly refurbished wit a nice bathroom and separate toilet.

If they hade a nice breakfast restaurant with a view we would have had breakfast there. But it was easy to find breakfast in the restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel.

The service was great, very clean room, close to the beach. The room was small, but great! The second room was without a window, but it wasn't a problem for our kid.

Emplacement de premier choix. Confortable. Pour la direction. A quelques mètres de l'entrée de l'hôtel il y a une porte technique du restaurant le 1900. L'odeur et la saleté de la porte est tout simplement immonde. On pourrait faire facilement l'amalgame entre ces deux établissements.

The sea view from first floor end of corridor was obscured by large tree and room Not high enough to see anything. Balcony was not pleasant with plastic chairs, Metal bars in front and is in need of refurbishment. Grass area in front of balcony was dead with a couple of dead plants. Very unattractive. Partial view of the sea description was a little bit of stretch, as you had to lean over the balcony to get a glimpse. The underground parking is only suitable for a small car.

Location adjacent to the promenade was excellent. The outside sitting area, was delightful with a nice view across the bay over the adjacent jetty. Room service could not be faulted. We were especially pleased with the provision of freshwater on tap just outside the room. The underground garage was precisely what we needed for peace of mind during our stay. Quite expensive but and travelers should note there is a height limit in the parking. Breakfast superb. Every member of staff was helpful and welcoming.

A kiválló elhelyezkedésen felül fantasztikus szolgáltatásban részesültünk. A folyosón ivóvíz gép volt, hűtött, normál és szénsavas vízet adott. Amikor a strandra indultunk a kedves recepciós teljes strand felszerelést adott amibe ágy, napernyő és strandtörölköző volt benne. A parti sétány csak pár lépésre van homokos stranddal és éttermekkel.

Az ágy süppedősebb, mint ahogy én szeretem.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel from the moment we arrived until we checked out a couple of days later. The level of service was excellent and assistance to find and book excelent restaurants. etc. Excellent breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again.

Situated right on the beach front in a quiet area of this quiet seaside resort. Underground parking was additional but very useful and secure. The room was extremely comfortable, well air conditioned and guaranteed a great sleep despite the heatwave outside. Chilled water is available free on the landing. There is a small bar area and a comfortable seating area adjacent. Breakfast is served in a small internal room, but it seemed popular. We chose to eat breakfast at cafes in the town. The hotel offers a Japanese Sauna session which was extremely good for those who like that sort of treatment. The best aspect of the hotel is the hosting, which is absolutely superb. A delightfully helpful host, who makes your stay exceptional.

The hotel is just a few metres from the promenade and then the beach, restaurants etc The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a terrace though it was shared and lacked privacy it gave lots of outside space with seating and sun loungers and a good view of the sunset. We had robes and slippers, a lovely shower room, a comfortable bed, good quality bedding, tea and coffee making and lastly a supply of mineral water.
