Breakfast is very simple in a crowded room.

Staff are exceptional. The dock access is great for private water taxis.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The property was lovely, it took you back in time but with modern amenities.

La ubicación del hotel es buena, pero, sinceramente, nuestra experiencia no estuvo a la altura de un hotel de 4 estrellas.

Nuestra habitación estaba situada en una entreplanta y el ascensor no dejaba directamente en ella, por lo que había que subir o bajar bastantes escaleras, además de ser bastante empinadas. La habitación, por otra parte, era mucho más pequeña de lo que aparentaba en las fotografías. Apenas había espacio para moverse: solo había una mesita a un lado de la cama porque en el otro no cabía nada, y la mesa ocupaba prácticamente el poco espacio libre que quedaba. También encontramos varios problemas de mantenimiento. Al ducharnos, el agua se salía por todas partes y terminaba empapando prácticamente todo el suelo del baño. La cisterna hacía ruido, el grifo del lavabo goteaba continuamente y se escuchaba constantemente el ruido del agua por las tuberías. El secador apenas tenía potencia y resultaba prácticamente imposible secarse el pelo con él. Además, dejamos una botella de agua sin abrir dentro de la nevera de la habitación y el personal de limpieza la tiró, algo que nos pareció bastante innecesario. En definitiva, la ubicación es buena, pero consideramos que el estado, el mantenimiento, el tamaño de la habitación y algunos detalles del servicio no corresponden a la categoría de un hotel de 4 estrellas. Esperábamos bastante más por el precio y por la categoría anunciada.

The place is clean, close to everything central. The staff are fantastic and the housekeeping phenomenal. They have a crib and accommodated my child throughout the stay.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Gleich um die Ecke vom Teatro La Fenice. Das Hotel selbst ist ein vollständig renovierter venezianischer Palazzo mit viel Komfort und sehr freundlichem Personal.

Der Boden in der Dusche ist extrem schlüpfrig. Sturzgefahr!

Gyönyörű szálloda, csendes, központi helyen, a Szent Márk tértől pár száz méterre. A recepción nagyon kedves személyzet. Már jártunk itt és éppen ezért szerettünk volna újra itt lakni. Elegáns reggeliző, mennyei tojásrántotta és minőségi ételek, kedves kiszolgálás.

A takarító személyzet nem volt készséges és figyelmes. Külön kellett szóljunk a recepción, hogy a kéréseinkre legyenek szívesek odafigyelni.

В отеле 4* не было зубных щеток, ватных палочек и дисков и других мелочей, которые есть в отеле такого уровня. Про халаты я уже и не говорю. Самое большое неудобство - не было второго одеяла. А ведь не все люди спят под одним. И конечно, везде уже давно есть бесплатная бутылка (хотя бы одна) с водой. В этом отеле не было.

The hotel is in the very heart of Venice, three blocks away from Saint Mark Square. My room was spacious, clean, and well equiped. The breakfast was very good. The staff has from the beginning been kind and professional. An excellent choice.

The carpets in some common areas could be replaced.

The room 209 we were given as the ceiling was very low. It was claustrophobic so that we avoided staying longer then absolutely necessary in our room.

The location was excellent, very close to the Doge and Theatre. The shops around were less touristy and more authentic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a tiny bit small but its Venice so authenticity means that this was to be expected. The rooms were very clean, beautiful and comfortable. For breakfast there were two rooms available with a large variety of foods and drinks.

Location is Absolutely breathtaking. The staff is very pleasant. Continental breakfast was superb, room was gorgeous. We live every tu ing about this property. The location is perfect to get around and explore.

Location was very convenient to everything, and considering that it's Venice, the room had decent space. The staff was great and the private dock right to the door of the hotel was a nice plus.

Overall, no complaints! It is an older hotel, as is most of the good ones in Venice, so keep that in mind - you won't find modern amenities like an onsite gym, for example. But if you're willing to set reasonable expectations, this place is a gem, especially if you can get promotional pricing.

Duodo Palace is a wonderful charming hotel perfectly situated for exploring Venice. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the hotel staff were always on hand to help with arranging water taxis and for any questions we had. I can highly recommend Duodo Palace and would absolutely book here again.

The accommodation is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. Everything was extremely clean, and we even received the room we had specifically wished for, which was such a lovely gesture from the hotel. The only small thing that was missing was perhaps a welcome drink, for example a simple bottle of water waiting in the room upon arrival. The hotel was also a little bit soundproofing-wise limited, but that is completely understandable and quite normal for many hotels. Other than that, it is a wonderful small boutique hotel with a 24-hour reception where you can leave your key whenever needed. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and had a great time there. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the breakfast, as we chose to have breakfast outside the hotel due to the many great options available nearby. The location is a perfect 10 out of 10 — very central and directly by the canal. The room was also wonderfully cooled with the air conditioning, so there is no need to worry about staying here during the summer months. The value for money is excellent, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

The only minor issue was that the soundproofing could be improved, as the room was a little bit noisy at times.

This stop in Venice was part of my dream Italy trip and let me just say Dua Palace hotel was very dreamy as well. It centrally located. It was right around the corner we found out by accident lol From Piazza San Marco, which was also magical because it was nighttime and there was live music playing and singing, and needless to say very No complaints at all about this hotel. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was so pretty the wallpaper was a fleur de lis that my greatgrandmother had in her house so it was special and reminded me that she’s always with me. Definitely recommend.

Good shower, remoodeled bathrooms and great AC, very centrally located, good breakfast, perfect in almost every way.

the rooms are a bit small. but that is common in Venice. walking here at niight with luggages was a bit difficult. it took us an hour from the bus stop in the heat as the water buses don't run that late. Book a water taxi if traveling at night!

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Duodo Palace. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a canal view, and the room was fantastic — spacious, comfortable and full of Venetian charm. The view was a real highlight, with regular gondolas passing by on the canal, making it feel like a true Venice experience. The air conditioning was quiet and effective, which was perfect after long days exploring the city. The hotel was peaceful, well located and a wonderful base for our trip. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a charming Venetian stay.

The room is clean and spacious, and the restroom has been newly renovated.

The male receptionist working the night shift was extremely rude and unprofessional. The air conditioning can only be controlled by the reception desk. When I requested that my room be made colder, he responded rudely and handled the situation unprofessionally.

Well located for Piazza San Marco but a haul from Train station. Arrived by water taxi ($$) for the full Venetian experience. Our room was in a joined adjacent building which meant no lift and entailed going down two half flights, (duck) up a half flight, up another flight and up a few more stairs - challenging with luggage. View over a canal wasn't as good as hoped for when booking. Room and bathroom was fairly spacious, but big step down into bathroom, slippery shower enclosure and no vent fan in bathroom meant leaving a window open and allowing heat, flies, noise to enter. Adjacent property under construction which added some daytime noise. As mentioned by others, the AC unit fan high above the bed was noisy all the time and intrusive no matter the setting. Couch looked rather worn, and not much clothing storage available. Front desk staff very pleasant, breakfast selection quite good. Value not quite as good as hoped, largely due to the room.

Die Lage.

Es hat schrecklich gestunken. Das Badezimmer zu benutzen war kaum möglich. Der Geruch wurde verschlimmert, indem versucht wurde, ihn mit Raumparfum zu übertünchen. Ein etwas modriger Geruch aufgrund der Kanallage wäre uns egal gewesen, aber es stank furchtbar. Im Bad waren einige Fliesen gesprungen. Im Zimmer war der teilweise kaputte Fußboden mit Klebeband geklebt.

Me pareció lamentable pagar 1200 € por 3 noche y que nos cobraran 1 botellín de agua. Muchos , muchos son los hoteles que dejan 2 botellines de agua 1 para cada ocupante de cortesia en la habitación. Si tienes 4 estrellas y cobras 400 € por noche has de estar a esa altura
