Nagrzany pokój i niedziałająca klima, której nie da się ustawić, bo jest sterowana centralnie z recepcji. Gdy poprosiłem o ustawienie na 24 stopnie, to po 8 godzinach klima schłodziła pokój do 27 stopni, pod warunkiem nie otwierania łazienki! W łazience temperatura przekraczała 35 stopni... Potwornie zniszczona i pobrudzona wykładzina podłogowa podkreślała wartość historyczna obiektu...

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026La calidad humana, todos fueron amables, colaboradores, con paciencia y siempre encontrabas una sonrisa a la hora que entrabas al hotel, la ubicación es excepcional y las instalaciones una pasada, no me imagine nunca que hubiera una joya así en el centro. Enhorabuena por lograr que todo fuera perfecto, sin duda volvería al mismo hotel. Tambien destacar que en plena ola de calor es el mejor aire acondicionado de toda Venecia. Gracias de corazón.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026La ubicación es fantástica, muy cerca de la Plaza San Marco. Alrededor del hotel hay muchas tiendas de lujo. El trato recibido por el personal de recepción es excelente. Saben hablar español y son muy atentos y amables. Te ayudan con todas las dudas que tengas para visitar Venecia. Un trato excelente!!! Nos alojamos en la habitación 560, es bastante amplia y con una terraza en la azotea del hotel, con unas vistas muy bonitas. La cama era muy cómoda. Las sabanas y toallas impecables. La decoración es muy romántica. Estilo Veneciano. El desayuno es correcto.
La moqueta de la habitación. Es bastante antigua y está deteriorada.

Pokój na 5 piętrze - są tam dość strome schody.

I booked a suite so our grown up children could stay with us. Their beds were under the eaves and did not have much head room . We are all over 6 foot. The sofa was torn and worn and there was a kitchen with nothing in it. When we asked for glasses we were given paper cups: the biggest problem for me however was the suite was in the attic and while it had character the elevator did not go that far and there were two sets os steep stairs. My expectations were that I would be able to reach my room easily as walking is difficult for me. It took some of the enjoyment away.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Das Hotel Casanova liegt sehr zentral, nur wenige Schritte neben einer vaporetto Anlagestelle. Rundum viele Geschäfte der Nobelmarken, ein paar gute Lokale zum Essen. wenig Cafe's, Alt ehrwürdiges Hotel, wo die Zimmer eben schon abgenutzt sind; Zimmer ausreichend groß, Kühlschrank im Zimmer Service dezent freundlich, mehr brauchts aber auch nicht.
Das Frühstück ist bestenfalls durchschnitt: Macedonia mit Dosenpfirsich, O-Saft sehr chemisch, Rührei aus dem Fertigpaket, Brot bzw Gebäck dürftig. Schinken gar nicht gut ..... Dafür ist Café und Tee sowie die Pasta dolce sehr gut Badezimmer ziemlich eng, Boden etwas rutschig Preis/Leistung ist grenzwertig okay; wir würden aber trotzdem nicht mehr dieses Hotel wählen.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Hotel Casanova předčil naše očekávání. Připadali jsme si jak v pohádce. Bydlet za rohem od nám, sv. Marka uprostřed Benátek...wau. Pokoj měl funkční klimatizaci, vybavení královské a pohodlné postele. Koupelna prostorná a ač jsme měli pokoj do rušných ulic, tak žádný hluk nebyl slyšet. Paní na recepci byla velmi ochotná a ač jsme měli check-in od 14:00 bez problémů nás ubytovala o dvě hodiny dříve. Snídaně bohaté formou bufetu a ten výhled...nádhera. Při konci našeho ubytování byla možnost uschovat batohy v hotelu a užít si památky bez zátěže. Určitě jsme nebyli v Benátkách naposledy a při další návštěvě budeme chtít se ubytovat opět v hotelu Casanova.
Nemůžeme vytknout nic. Vše bylo perfektní.

Mattress was very hard with no choice of pillows. Some parts require updating.

The shower head was a bit blocked from limescale and the water didn't come out properly. Breakfast selection could improve

Booked a junior suite, room we were given was tiny and unlike anything shown on either booking.com or their own website. We could touch the ceiling and room was tiny, smaller than even the single room shown on their page. Carpet was also filthy. We argued with the receptionist for 10 minutes, she insisted that this room was a junior suite and that it was as shown on the website, but when I asked her to show me exactly where it was shown it was suddenly not there. She eventually relentled and gave us another room, which was about 3 times the size and clean, as we expected from their own webpage and booking.com photos. Stay from then on was good but this was a bad note to start a holiday on and we should not have had to argue like this. From seeing in doors as rooms were being cleaned it seems that the majority of rooms are much, much smaller than advertised, and the property are aware of this.

La colazione potrebbe essere più variegata, ma i basici ci sono tutti. Il materasso e il cuscino sono rigidi, forse aggiornare o almeno dare più opzioni di cuscini sarebbe interessante.

Немного "уставший" ковёр на полу номера. В номере не было воды. Бар тоже не предлагался. В остальном всё отлично.

The hotel even kept the air conditioner running before we arrived, how wonderful in this hot summer. The breakfast was more than adequate. You could choose whatever you liked. Whenever some dishes of food were empty, they would be refilled almost immediately. Besides, the attendants were very polite and helpful.
Like most hotels in Venice, the view from window was limited. Moreover, the hotel did not provide any Do Not Disturb sign. Of course, if we were still in our room we could refrain from any unnecessary disturbance, unless we needed to change linen or additional toilet paper.

Qualcosa specialmente in bagno è da sostituire (ad esempio il soffione della doccia ed altre cose).

It takes literally a minute to walk to St Marks Square We looked out of our room to the lane to the river It was so quiet at night Breakfast was good The bed was comfortable although they could do with better pillows as they were not the best Aircon was great , it was so hot in Venice It was fab to be able to go back to cool down after a walk Staff were helpful and pleasant We literally walked for three minutes from the boat from the airport and back So close Just out of St Marks Square to the right is a water station to fill up your water bottles as water costs add up

Nous n'avons pas était accueillis en l'absence du personnel. Il a fallut attendre presque 10mn pour qu'une personne arrive. Nous avons subit un vol a la réception lors du paiement de la taxe de séjour. A l'arrivée le matin et a notre retour le soir personne a la reception. Il a fallut contourner le contoir pour récupérer la clé de notre chambre. Un scandale

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026La ubicación del hotel es extraordinaria, tan sólo a unos pasos de la Piazza San Marco. Ya sólo eso es una maravilla. La habitación es muy confortable y las instalaciones son cómodas. Hay que tener en cuenta que está en el centro de Venecia por lo que tiene el encanto y el tamaño del espacio que dispone. El personal es muy amable, nos recomendaron sitios para cenar y nos dieron tarjetas para que aplicaran algún descuento o aperitivo de cortesía.
Nos alojamos tres personas en Junior Suite y es una habitación normal con una cama adicional, no tiene dos espacios como sueles esperar en una denominación "suite". El desayuno está bien pero se echa mucho de menos algo tan sencillo como una tostadora.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Quarto amplo. Banheiro amplo. Café da manhã muito bom. Camas confortáveis. Localização perfeita e ao lado de bons restaurantes, da praça San Marco e do grande canal.
Ar condicionado não gelava muito, mesmo no máximo. Carpete no chão dá sensação de coisa antiga e com ácaros. Café da manhã embora muito bom, era exatamente igual todos os dias. Banheiro sem ducha, com bidê que e meio anti-higiênico.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026J'ai tout apprécié de cet hôtel, le personnel est accueillant et gentil. La chambre magnifique avec aucun problème la clim était parfaite. Le petit déj rien a redire il y avais du choix et parfois certaine chose variait. Franchement n'écoutez pas les avis négatif sur l'hôtel car ce n'est que des exceptions de personne qui ne savent pas commenté dans la demi mesure. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est top.

Camera rotta senza maniglie comodini bagno sporco pochette per terra macchiata aria condizionata male dolorante puzza che la sera veniva dal bagno frigorifero rotto ho dovuto chiedere se me lo aggiustavano perché poi dietro ad l frigorifero c'era tre cm di polvere materasso scomodo,bagno schiuma per un giorno poi se stai tre giorni il servizio non c'è niente saponette di ricambio mi dispiace ma un anno e mezzo fa almeno la camera era carina se dovete dare le stanze per fare un favore lasciate stare a colazioni nemmeno una bottiglia d acqua con questo caldo boh l acqua nell erogatore uno contato con succo che non sa di niente e l acqua idem ,le cameriere c'è ne fosse una accogliente mah senza parole veramente.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026The location is a block from Piazza San Marco and a straight (nearly) few blocks from a vaporetto stop. The breakfast is excellent. For Venice, the price is a great value. The front desk was very helpful.
The only problem I had was finding it via GPS that led me to a back alley behind the hotel-it’s better to look at a detailed map ahead of time. (A chronic problem in Italy, not just Venice).

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026The hotel is at a perfect location!Just steps away from St.Marco square!Beautifully decorated,full of old charm,the rooms are good sized with all the amenities.The bathroom is white marble and very clean.The employees are very kind and ready to help you with whatever you may need.
Our shower had a curtain, instead of the glass door that the other rooms had,so it flooded easily if you were not careful enough,and this is the reason I didn't give a 10 to the hotel,a 4 star hotel shouldn't have curtains in the shower,and all the photos in booking showed glass door showers.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026It was a nice old fashion Italian hotel with nice antique furniture. The location to St. Marc’s is good, lots of expensive stores right there if that’s your thing.
The beds were VERY hard. Bathroom wasn’t clean, it had hair all over. Morning staff (Russian lady) was very rude when asking questions and for help. Also was not informed of required CASH payment due at checkout, would not recommend

Keine Lüftung im Bad (stickig), Fenster schaut direkt beim Nachbarn rein und kann somit nur gekippt werden Schreckliches Personal am Frühstück: launisch und unfreundlich, alles wird hingeknallt, zuwenig Tische und fast alle nur als 2er Tisch. Wenn man fragt ob man 2 Tische zusammenschiebt wird das manchmal sehr mürrisch gemacht und dabei auf Italienisch gemurmelt, manche wurden auch abgelehnt und die Familien saßen dann Mann und Frau mit je einem kleinen Kind getrennt (da fängt das Tag entspannt an). Kein Brot, nur lapprige halbgebackene Brötchen. Alles billig und wenig, Auswahl mangelhaft. Sind nie satt rausgegangen, Kinder schon zweimal nicht. Würde wegen dem Essen das nächste Mal woanders buchen, ansonsten gut
