Great location for the beach. Staff generally friendly. Continental side of breakfast great. Loved the fresh fruit every morning. Not a big fan of buffet scrambled eggs so ordered boiled instead.

Arrived on a very hot day and wanted ice for my water as the fridge took forever to cool it. I was told that I would need to pay for a bucket of ice.

Kamers zijn aan de kleine kant. Veel Kamers hebben geen privacy. Bijvoorbeeld :afstand balkon tot ontbijtzaal is ongeveer 1.5 meter.Wij hebben een upgrade tegen betaling gedaan. Daar was de uitzicht prachtig.

Jantar maravilhoso no restaurante do 3º andar. Pequeno almoço magnífico no piso -1 com vista para o mar. Qualidade de todos os artigos apresentados ao jantar e pequeno almoço divinal com ampla variedade de frutas, pães, charcutaria, doces, manteigas, compotas, chás. Laranjas e águas como cortesia à chegada no quarto.

Deveríamos ter ficado mais noites. Vale mesmo muito a pena voltar!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Alisios and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Albufeira. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to both the Old Town and the New Town, making it the perfect base for exploring the area while still enjoying a peaceful beachfront setting. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options and a great start to each day. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding customer service. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. A special thank you to the front desk team and wait staff, who went above and beyond to help celebrate my best friend's 40th birthday. They surprised her with a small cake and a thoughtful gift, which was such a wonderful and unexpected gesture that made her day even more memorable. The only minor drawback was that we found the beds to be quite firm. However, the hotel does have mattress toppers available, which made a bit of a difference. Overall, Hotel Alisios exceeded our expectations with its excellent location, delicious breakfast, and exceptional staff. We would happily stay here again!

Otima localizacao (em frente a praia e a uma curta caminhada do centro) e estacionamento no local, equipe gentil e prestativa, cafe da manha com otima variedade que permite atender variados gostos, adorei a facilidade para emprestimo de toalhas e o deck para curtir o por do sol e a fruta do quarto.

É algo bem simples que nao impacta em nada a experiencia do hotel, apenas senti falta da placa de identificacao para "nao incomodar" no meu quarto, mas vi que algumas acomodacoes tinham na porta.

Nos ha gustado la atención, sus instalaciones muy bien ubicadas, con acceso directo a la playa y parking privado. Habitación cómoda y el desayuno muy con variedad de opciones. Lo más importante, puedes ir caminando al casco histórico.

I knew I was going to enjoy being in this hotel as soon as I walked through the doors. I was met with such a wonderful atmosphere and the most professional and helpful reception. We were shown to our rooms and were greatly suprised by how clean and spacious they were. The staff in the restaurants and bar were immaculate and always there to help and have great personalities, oh and the food ….we were half board the menu was plentiful and the food was delicious. We spoke with our hosts who made us feel that we were part of the family with genuine pleasure for us to staying with them. My Dad had previously stayed in this Hotel and waxed lyrical on how amazing this was and believe me he isn’t the kind of person to revisit holidays we have booked again for May 2027 so this will be his third time. I am disabled but being here at the hotel they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and not patronising but gave me support if I needed it which to me makes whole lot of difference. The whole atmosphere and location is lovely on leaving we were seen off by our hosts who presented me with gift which I will treasure. I am counting the days until I return to what is a Portuguese Jewel . See you next May 2027!

Location was excellent, kind of on the beach

1. Sea view rooms. The hotel is behind large natural cliffs which obstructs a lot of openness. If you are paying the premium price for a great sea view room - you will be disappointed mostly 2. Breakfast quality. Quite basic: you need to pay extra for things like pancake, smoked salmon etc. No coffee machine, you need to mix milk and water and make your coffee. Not something you expect from a 4*

To be honest, considering the hotel and its location, I expected a much better breakfast. The breakfasts were somewhat monotonous and lacking in variety.

The location is amazing; you can get to the beach from the hotel's back door. How awesome :)

Tanto la habitación como el baño, eran muy amplios, cómodos y limpios. Muy buena presión de agua. La cama cómoda. Las vistas del hotel frente a la playa son alucinantes. Recomiendo tomar un cocktail al atardecer en el bar del hotel con las vista sobre el acantilado. El desayuno muy completo y variado.

No tengo nada que no me haya gustado. Lo único que le falta es una piscina exterior para ser completo.

Czysty i przestronny pokój z łazienką. Śniadanie było wyśmienite i każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Hotel położony tuż przy morzu z piękną plaża. Polecam serdecznie, napewno tam wrócimy!

La piscine intérieure était agréable. La vue imprenable sur la mer, et l'accès direct à la plage.

Il manquait une piscine extérieure et une salle de sport pour un hôtel de ce standing. Nous sommes restés deux nuits. Le ménage se fait de manière assez tardive, pour notre part entre 12h et 13h. Dernier point, les repas au sein de l'hôtel sont assez chers, et même en prenant l'option petit déjeuner, certaines choses sont en supplément comme les pancakes. Notre chambre était au -1 en face de la salle du petit déjeuner. A notre réveil, des personnes étaient en train de déjeuner sur les tables extérieures, juste devant notre terrasse, ce qui était assez bruyant dès l'ouverture du petit déjeuner.

This is a superb hotel with the highest standards of Service , Cleanliness , Maintenance and Hospitality It’s a great place to base your holiday from as it offers a quiet and relaxed environment whilst being only a 10 minute walk ( or taxi for less than €5 ) to the bustling centre of Albufeira It has its own private access to the beach ( not suitable for infirm or disabled guests with two beach beds and parasols available to rent for €15 per day and there is a hotel toilet and shower at the entrance to the beach steps which is very handy There is a great beach bar available for food drinks and ice creams etc but this is not part of the hotel This is a brilliant hotel and not to be missed

Mejoraría coordinación de limpieza de habitaciones. A veces temprano. A veces demasiado tarde.

Schönes Hotel etwas abseits vom Trubel aber fussläufig gut zur Innenstadt zu erreichen. Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Zimmer sehr sauber und alles vorhanden was man braucht. Besonders schön war die Treppe nach hinten raus zum Strand. Handtücher konnte man sich ausleihen und die Gebühr gab es zurück.

Ein absolutes no Go war, dass man für den Safe im Zimmer bezahlen musste. In der heutigen Zeit völlig überholt. Das Hotel hat leider keinen Pool, sehr schade. Auch störend fand ich, dass die Zimmer mit den Balkonen zum Innenbereich vor dem Frühstücksraum lagen. Man musste immer die Vorhänge schließen. Das Essen im Hotel sehr teuer wenn man keine HP hat.

We chose this hotel for our recent holiday and to be honest it was not what we expected. The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and attentive however there were elements of the hotel that were not clear to us upon booking and on this point I am unsure if this is the fault of the hotel or Tui who the holiday was booked through! Although there are many country's flags flying at the entrance of this hotel it became clear very quickly that this hotel predominantly caters for German nationals. This was evident at breakfast time where the majority of the food on display was sweet cakes, continental food that we know is customary to the German culture. As far as a cooked breakfast that is traditional to an English culture this was represented in a small corner by a couple of lift up hot plates that had beans, scrambled eggs, fatty bacon and on one day of the seven we stayed there were mushrooms and sausages, however the sausages were those small continental things, tasty nonetheless but not your usual breakfast sausages and like I said only available on one day out of the seven we stayed! You could also request fried eggs upon arrival to breakfast but sometimes you had a long wait for this to be cooked so by the time they arrived to your table your toast, beans etc had gone cold! I then went to the sauce and relish section where there was all kinds of sauces but no HP or some form of brown sauce and when I asked a member of staff where the HP or brown sauce was, I was met with a confusing frown and shrug of the shoulders like I was asking for something that doesn't exist! I was then told by a member of staff that the hotel does not provide HP or brown sauce at breakfast which it's fair to say here if this sauce was a German tradition at breakfast would 100% be available, no question! Another thing we found a bit cheeky and very surprising was if you wanted a plain omelette making you had to pay 4 euros for the privilege which for a hotel of this standard and lofty price to stay compared to other hotels in the area was outrageous and an absolute insult! We have stayed in many hotels all over the world and we have never had to pay a supplement for a basic omelette! Crazy but true!! Just to finish off the point of the German bias this hotel operates to, all the chalk boards at the restaurant advertising ice creams, specials etc were all written in German! How does this work when you are an English guest? Not good is it? Now just to make thins clear given what has just been written here, we have no issue here at all with German holidaymakers or their culture, my wife's mother was born in Hannover Germany so this is not what this review is about, however what it is about is if this hotel predominantly caters for the German culture, language then they need to inform people of this and if the hotel does not do this then Tui or any holiday firm booking the hotel should inform you of this before booking so you are well informed as we had no idea of this so at least you know now before you book! We predominantly picked this hotel for it's great location on the beachfront and it close proximity to the old town which is superb and we paid that bit extra for a higher standard hotel which to be fair it is however when you pay that bit extra you don't expect to have to pay an extra 4 euros for a basic omelette and you don't expect to feel like a second class holiday maker as you are English which I am sorry to say for a the above factual reasons made us feel! This is a great shame as the hotel itself is perfectly located and Is very clean however if you are not German then I suggest you give it a miss!!

la sostenibilità della costruzione, la posizione sulla scogliera col prato che si integrava all' ambiente. camera con letto confortevole e cuscini comodi. acqua e frutta in camera, necessario per il bagno a disposizione, piscina di acqua salata con vari idromassaggi (portatevi la cuffia, eventualmente la vendono).

Consiglio: mettere una presa di corrente ad ogni lato del letto e il bidet.

The location is excellent, over looking the beach but just far enough out of the old town.

The hotel only has an inside swimming pool and you have to wear a swimming cap if you want to use it

Excellent location, definitely worth paying extra for the beach view rooms - if you have your balcony door open, you can hear the noise of the waves which is amazing! Private car park. Nice breakfast. Secured door to the beach. 5min walk to bars and restaurants.

Not the property directly, but the bars and restaurants nearby are very touristy and not traditional. Hotel staff can direct you to more local restaurants, still within walking distance, and what a difference!

Beautiful hotel situated right on the beach! Gorgeous rooftop terrace overlooking the water that any guests can access. Beach a short walk down some steps is equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas for daily rental. Short walking distance to Old Town and restaurants. Complimentary breakfast offered a great selection. Rooms say they are equipped with AC but not very strong to combat the hotter summer months. Parking included right on the property is a huge plus!

Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein. Wir waren 2 Wochen im Hotel und hatten wenig Stauraum für unsere ganze Kleidung. Betten sehr hart.

Si vas a reservar habitación interna, confirma bien que no de al comedor que quedas encerrado sin salida al balcón porque te desayunan a 1 metro. Pague pago habitación externa y el cambio es muy evidente. Los desayunos son iguales siempre así q al 4 día estás cansado. Cobran por la caja de seguridad.

This is a really nice hotel and is spotlessly clean. The breakfast options were plentiful and the cooked foods were always hot. I celebrated a birthday whilst staying here - which I did not mention to anyone, however on the morning of my birthday whilst at breakfast I was presented with a home made birthday cake and a gift, a beautiful touch, thank you. The only reason I did not give 5 tars was one small incident that happened with a receptionist. I went to ask if they could send someone to fix the air conditioning as it was uncomfortably warm in our room. The male receptionist began to argue with me stating that it was “impossible as they all run off the same system”. I offered for him to come to the room to check for himself which he stated that he did not need too as he knew it was working. Eventually I turned too another guest stood behind me (a complete stranger!) and asked him if his “air conditioning was working and cooling the room?” To which he replied “yes, I have turned it off as it’s too cold for me”. Only at this point did the receptionist agree to call maintenance. A few hours later maintenance arrived at our room, took a few minutes looking at the air conditioning and said he would have it fixed in a couple of hours - which he did. When paying to stay anywhere I don’t expect to be treated as if I am lying or being made to feel foolish over something as menial as air conditioning. However, that said, its prime location to the old town and I would definitely consider going again.
