Great location for flying out of east midlands and parking is £5 a night cheaper than airport parking.

Great staff, Cat the manager is fabulous and good fun! She can't do enough for you. Comfy beds, tidy enough, bedrooms could do.with a spruce up but totally fine for a nights stay before holiday.

Excellent value for money overall. Comfy bedroom; excellent food choice for dinner; tasty generous portions competitively priced. Excellent bacon was the highlight at breakfast, which otherwise was acceptable standard buffet fare. Staff were friendly and helpful (if having to multi task) and at dinner Catherine kept the show on the road with her effervescent enthusiasm, assisted by her colleague at reception/bar.

Staff were not plentiful and as mentioned, the few that were there had to multi task to avoid delays.

The manager was amazing. She was friendly, attentive, listened to feedback and interacted well making the stay more enjoyable. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable abd exactly what we needed for our stay. Also added note to say really inclusive for gluten free.

Not all of the staff were as personable as the manager, but when this was raised it was dealt with. Tiny annoying thing was thst the WiFi kept dropping out

My kind of place. No frills, but comfy beds, a bath, a fan, windows which actually open and friendly, helpful staff- who go out of their way to help you. I was lost due to a road closure. I phoned the hotel to say I'd be late. Giselle on reception, spent ages trying to help me find my way. I could hear her asking other people for their advice. When I eventually arrived, I was met by Simon, who was very kind and funny. He brightened my mood! The hotel may not have the most impressive decor, but what it lacks in design, it more than makes up for in value for money and the excellent customer service provided. Thank you to all at the Kegworth Conference Hotel. See you next week! 😀

Good size room

Bathroom a bit shabby. Very noisy due to nighttime cargo flights out of East Midlands. Couldn't have the windows open due to the noise. No air con so very warm

Mattress may need updating

The staff were really good. Because of a problem with out room, Bethany tried two others for us but in the end, none of them were fully functioning so we stayed where we were but she tried very hard to do what she could.

The bed was very, very soft and creaky. Can't imagine how old it was. Only had one bedside light and that kept flickering so obviously had an electrical fault. Not good. The safe didn't work, we think due to dead batteries and because no maintenance person available, nothing they could do apart from put our things in the office safe. The cold water dribbled out, very strange. The hot water was fine once it came through but goodness knows how much water we wasted waiting for it. Considering the hotel is all about being eco, they need to sort some maintenance issues out first. With no maintenance person available over the weekend, we had to manage with our faulty bedside light which was a bit scary being to do with electricity. The two strip lights in the bedroom and bathroom didn't work. We had Hunter's Chicken the second night. It was so tough it must have been cooked an hour or two before and then heated up for us or left under a heat lamp. No, we did not complain. It was 8pm and we were hungry so wasn't going to wait another half hour or so for another one. The two other rooms offered also had faulty safe's so, as we'd already unpacked everything, we stayed where we were, otherwise we'd at least have moved to a room that had working bedside lights and possibly better beds etc. All in all it was very, very disappointing. As I said, the girls on reception were very apologetic, even though nothing was their fault, and they did all they could to try and sort some issues out, but to no avail. Bethany and Karen were very, very friendly and helpful and are a credit to your hotel.

The staff were really nice and welcoming

We were in a room down a dark corridor. There seemed to be people living in some of the rooms as there were door mats and things stuck on the doors. From outside you could see personal items stacked in the windows. I felt it was the staff quarter or a part of the hotel out of the way for residents. I wouldn’t want to stay down that end alone.

Bed was fairly comfortable.

Curtains were falling off, when you turned the tap on it came out so fast I got soaked.

Convenient location for a wedding I was attending. Ample free parking. Clean room, with all facilities needed. Reception staff really friendly and helpful, made to feel very welcome.

Slight damp smell throughout. Top floor room very hot, even with window open, could do with a fan and turning off the heated towel rails!

The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel really at home. I loved the main reception area with bar and restaurant. Great location - nice little town with a decent boozer and a few take aways. Highly recommended for the money.

The property has a good sized car park and some facilities I can not comment on the food as we did not eat here but there did look like a good selection for a menu that was seen.

The property is very run down. There was no door handle on the toilet door on the outside, the toilet was not secure to the floor and wobbled, the room was excruciatingly hot. One fan was provided when we asked staff if there was any chance of another we were basically told no deal with it. We spoke with other people staying at the hotel and they had the same answer and commented on how rude the staff were. We decided to go for a quick drink in the bar and staff were no where to be seen.

Everything was great, no complaints at all.

The most miserable and rude person on reception and running the bar, everything seemed to be an effort and no no personality. if that is the beast you can get to be client facing you need to take a long hard look at yourself’s. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the country for the last 30 years and this lady was easily one of if not the worst I have ever come across.

Room needed air con. Very rude staff in the morning. Me and my sister had arrived at 3am and we went down for breakfast that morning and saw a sign on the counter saying call a number for service. I noticed a lady smoking outside with a uniform on so I spoke with her and explained that both me and my sister did not have our phones with us and so who did we need to speak to to pay for breakfast. The lady (I think her name maybe Karen) begrudgingly got up from her seat and made her way around the counter and said sternly "you should have paid for breakfast when you arrived" to which I replied that we arrived at 3am and the last thing we thought of was paying for breakfast. She took our payment but didnt explain how breakfast worked so we figured it out ourselves. Other than this experience I thought the hotel was ok but that staff member was rude and shone a bad light on the hotel.

Very easy for getting to the airport , friendly staff. Took my advice from last visit and had menu in the rooms. Ate at the hotel had one of the best lasagna have ever eaten. Fresh salad and coleslaw as well.

Dinner... Huge fish and chips. Freshly cooked and well priced. Breakfast... Great choice. Hot buffet and continental Cat and other young lady on reception really helpful, friendly and chatty. Room was huge. Really good value for money. Shower rail a little rusty but not an issue. Bed huge and comfy. Fan very much appreciated!

It was a bit tatty and needs an upgrade. The bathroom was a little dirty - still had someone else’s shower gel on the wall . And there were dirty marks on the bed divan. The hall carpets had some tatty edges and wood work needs painting. These are all cosmetic and can be sorted. No room cleaning whilst we were there - we had to ask if we needed anything. Stayed 4 nights so one cleaning would have been appreciated. One staff member was a bit loud , but she wasn’t offensive.

We booked Fri-Mon. The room we booked, The Lincoln Suite, was bright, large, had a balcony which was great. The food at the restaurant was really nice. Breakfast which was help yourself was very tasty.

That the restaurant was closed on Sunday, plus it wasn't advertised anywhere that the breakfast on Monday was cooked to order.

There is no disabled parking anymore as those bays have now been turned into electric vehicle charging points. The lights in the bedside lamps didn't work but they did charge our phones. The breakfast wasn't upto its usual standard.

Great location for Donington Park and East Midlands airport. Ideal for a one night stay, staff are warm and welcoming and were very accommodating in arranging a sandwich for me to collect on check out because I was leaving too early for breakfast. Clean rooms, perfectly adequate, good value for money and plenty of parking. My only criticism is the food. Nothing is home made and is either fried, frozen and then clearly nuked in a microwave. It filled a gap at the end of a long day but it was not particularly pleasant.
